MULTIPLE SYSTEMS FAILURES; CURRENTLY ABS LIGHT STAYS ON, AIR BAG LIGHT FLASHES, FUEL SMELL, SLOPPY STEERING, FRONT SUSPENSION NOISES, POWER DOOR LOCKS INOPERATIVE, CRUISE CONTROL INOPERATIVE, HORN INOPERATIVE. *AK
RIGHT FRONT SHOCK IS LEAKING FLUID-NOTICE THAT THE FEMALE PART OF THE SHOCK IS RUBBING THE FRAME,RIGHT ABOVE THE MOU N TNG BOLT.ALSO THE RIGHT SHOCK IS RUBBING THE FRAME.THIS VEHICLE HASN'T BEEN IN A WRECK-I THINK THERE NEEDS TOA SPACER BETWEEN THE SHOCKS MOUNTING BOLT AND THE FRAME,TO PULL IT AWAY FROM THE FRAME-
THIRD FAILURE OF BALL JOINTS (CURRENTLY UPPER ARE BAD AGAIN). FIRST REPLACED 02/08/1995, SECOND REPLACE AT ~60,000 MILES ON 07/30/1998. THIRD NOW BAD AT ~80,000 MILES. 90% OF DRIVING IS INTERSTATE AT ABOUT 10-12K MILES PER YEAR. FORD HAS SERVICE BULLETINS BUT WILL NOT STAND BEHIND PRODUCT.
