I’ve replaced three times my rear window regulators on both sides. This part is only available thru Ford and there isn’t a 3rd party part. You roll the window down and the regulator stops working/breaks. This has already cost me over $1000 on parts/labor.

On the driver's side door are spot welds that are breaking away and preventing the window from coming down. As documented in SSM-50150.

My driver’s side door top hinge the spot welds let go, I already had the door replaced by Ford under warranty back in 2021 my car is not under warranty anymore I have about 156,000 miles on it. I got a estimate at a body shop it will cost me about $1820 to replace the door.

Door started squeaking. Dealership checked and found that, "Door skin spot weld is broken under door weather strip near door check." Door has never been damaged by owner.

Welds holding driver's side door broke inside the door, door makes a crunching noise, is hard to close and window can't be rolled down. Door was not caught by wind or any other strain, no abnormal use. The car has 26,000 miles and the welds just gave out.

The driver's side front check arm welds inside the door broke loose, and the door can't be closed.

On the drivers side doir, the 3 spot welds for the door stop failed. Now it makes a horrible cracking sound. I was told the whole door needs to be replaced and I'm out of warranty. I've had the vehicle just over 3 years.
