The guard plate between the sunroof and the moonroof fell off and the retractable screen rolled all the way back and is inoperable. The guard plate fell and hit my child while I was driving. When I searched the internet to see if others have experienced this issue, I discovered that it is a known issue with these vehicles. Unsecured falling parts is a danger and a recall should be issued to fix this issue immediately.

While driving, the metal crossbar trim above my head separating the front (movable) and rear (fixed) roof glass fell off, jamming the sunshade and then falling on my head

Rear drip molding hinge cover. It's an exterior covering. I noticed mine was missing after getting other recalls serviced. I ordered a replacement part, however, my research proved this is common. Apparently the hinge cap is only attached by velcro. This could cause a serious car accident if the part were to fly off into someone else's windshield. Slippery Drive Mode was On. EV Mode was On. Was driving slowly up a snowy driveway, the car lost traction and the car became completely inoperable and immobilized, including: - Car could not be turned off or on via Start Stop button - Car could not shift out of Park - Car could not change drive modes - Car could not change out of EV Mode It was completely inoperable and impossible to move out of harm's way or shut down so it just sat there and drained the battery. Fortunately, an auto-shutdown sequence occurred when the battery was low which automatically turned off the car after manual attempts failed. Only after the car auto-shutdown could I start the car again and move it out of park to get out of harm's way. There was no collision or impact. The car never left the asphalt. After it restarted, I could drive the vehicle with seemingly no impairment. It spit out >20 codes, all of which are attached in a DTC report.

I don't do much interstate/expressway driving but after an 80 mile trip yesterday, my ears last night had tinnitus hiss and it continues today, The sound inside the car was a continuous loud medium high-pitched sound. This vehicle's engine is noisy as you pick up speed but not unacceptable. This sound was eminating from the road and amplified through the vehicle chassis and interior driving chamber and easily cancelled out any noise coming from the engine compartment. This sound was high enough that a horn or siren could be canceled out unless right on a tight perimeter of the car.

I want to know why there has been no remedy for the 23V380 recall. A remedy was anticipated in October 2023. Also, I got notice of a new recall Ford campaign #23E09 regarding reprogramming the PCM for emissions. When I enter 23E09 on your Web site it takes me to the 23V380 recall. Are they related? Either way Ford is still saying there is no remedy yet for either.

When parked and shut off the car rolled backwards about 6 inches when the door was opened. This happens when returning to the parked car and the door is opened from the outside. It has happened twice. It also happened once when being unplugged from the level 1 charging unit. The dealer was unhelpful, based on the infrequent nature of the incident and inability to reproduce it.

The fire risk in the engine compartment recall has been issued for this vehicle since May 2023. The remedy is supposed to be available by Oct 2023. Yet at my recent visit to the dealer for the recall repair in Dec 2023 revealed that no remedy is available. The owner of this vehicle is forced to operate the vehicle with the risk of catastrophic engine failure and subsequent fire. It is a major safety concern.

I have been without my new car since January 10, 2023 due to a design flaw in the Ford Escape Plug in Hybrid. Their inadequate undercarriage protection Ford is putting their owners at financial risk, and costing Federal and state taxpayers for a flawed product. Ford Escape Plug in Hybrid undercarriage protection is not made of a durable material. You have maybe expected plastic or metal in the past. Now it is a fabric material that I call “Fordboard”, that tears and leaves the highly sensitive electronic and the hybrid battery open for damage. This happened to me in the January 2023 storms in Southern California. I have been without my new car for two months because, not only is the undercarriage not durable, but Ford refuses to divert replacement batteries for repair but continues to make the new cars so they can continue to make a profit with the help of Federal and State tax dollars. I was counting on gas savings with the electric vehicle in order to help pay for the car payment. I now have to pay full gas prices as well as the car payment. I bought the car because our family needed to expand our vehicles. I spent extra on this car to help reduce my carbon emissions. There are now more carbon emissions because of this which is contrary to why there are tax credits. Ford is gathering huge profits as a result of the changes to the tax credits, they are one of a handful of cars that are eligible. If they can’t fix damaged cars, then the tax credits aren’t helping. Ford refuses to warranty the situation. Ford refuses to pay for a loaner or rental car. Ford rejected my requests for financial assistance. I request help to do the following: 1)I want Ford to divert a battery assembly from the new car manufacturing to my car so I can have my car. 2)I want Ford to replace the “Fordboard” undercarriage on my car with something more durable so I don’t have to worry about this ever again The consumer is requesting an update and response to the complaint.
