WHILE I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE WITH A FAMILY MEMBER AND SOME FRIENDS BOTH SIDE CURTAIN AIRBAGS DEPLOYED SIMULTANEOUSLY FOR NO REASON. IT WAS LIKE A GUN WENT OFF NEXT TO OUR EARS. DUE TO THE ODOR AND DUST IN THE VEHICLE WE ROLLED DOWN OUR WINDOWS TO AVOID INHALING THE POWDERY SUBSTANCE. I AM AMAZED WE DIDN'T WRECK. WE WERE TRAUMATIZED BY THE INTENSITY OF THE INCIDENT. MANY OF US HAD RINGING IN OUR EARS FOR SOMETIME AND I HAD CHEST PAINS FOR THE REST OF THE EVENING. WORDS REALLY CANNOT DESCRIBE HOW TERRIFYING IT WAS. WE TRIED TO FIGURE OUT WHAT MAY HAVE BEEN THE REASON FOR THE DEPLOYMENT. THERE WAS NO REASON WHATSOEVER THAT GAVE CAUSE TO THE DEPLOYMENT.
