Was stopped behind a car in line in the parking lot. The truck was in drive with the auto hold brake feature enabled. The auto hold disengaged and the car rolled forward rear ending the car in front of me. Collision alert didn't sound as expected. A similar recall came out August 6 for 2025 F150s.

the blue cruise hands free driving feature does not work and has guided the vehicle off of the road. It also asks the driver to take the steering wheel, but will not register that has happened without a very hard pull on the wheel, which pulls the vehicle into other lanes of traffic. this is a very dangerous situation.
On 14 September, at approximately 11am, I rear ended another vehicle a Honda Pilot. I anticipated the vehicle in front of me pulling out into the intersection and took my eyes off that vehicle to look at vehicles approaching from my left. The vehicle in front of me stopped and I hit them moving less than 10 mph. The airbags didn't deploy and the people in both vehicles were fine. However, my 2022 Ford F-150 Platinum is equipped with emergency braking and pre-collision safety features. They did not engage and I hit the vehicle. People cannot rely on these systems protecting them.

My truck has BlueCruise technology. I have noted that the technology can be dangerous and drive me off the road, particularly in an area of an Interstate I drive often. Each time I go through that area, it will drive me off the road if I don't catch it. Always in the same place and in the same way.
I am having multiple electrical glitches with the vehicle. While I was in bluecruise the self driving mode the vehicle warned me to take control and when I did the vehicle was stuck in a loop on the highway with notifications alarms. I was able to take a video one of the times. I took it to the ford dealer and they said they needed me to bring it back when an engineer was available. While waiting to go back had another serious issue with the head unit/audio system when I started up the vehicle. Ear damaging sounds came on and I lost control of the head unit. Shut the truck off and turned it back on and the ear piercing noises persisted. I made a video of this too. My head unit randomly reboots while driving the vehicle. Went back to ford and they did an update instead of having engineers diagnose the problem. Audio system still doesn’t work right and I think it is damaged from the event.
This 2021 F150 is equipped with Ford BlueCruise. More than one time the truck has tried to leave the road while engaged. It also has a very dangerous trait - when the BlueCruise is active and the system wants the driver to take control, THE AMOUNT OF FORCE IT TAKES TO TAKE CONTROL OF THE STEERING WHEEL OFTEN CAUSES THE TRUCK TO SWIRVE TO ANOTHER LANE OF TRAFFIC. THIS IS A HUGE SAFTEY CONCERN and has caused many near miss accidents at high speed, for me.
The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving approximately 65 MPH, the contact engaged the Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB). The contact stated that his vehicle kept gaining on the vehicle in front of him and was not keeping a safe distance. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact depressed the brake pedal and slowed down. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the vehicle was not equipped with the Pre-Collision Assist system. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 1,600.

1. The back up brake assistant is not working. This has been defective since August 2022. It caused me to have an accident running into a post, filing an insurance claim for repairs. I have taken it to 2 different Ford dealers for service and to get the back up brake fixed. No resolve from FORD. 2. In September 2022 my F150 started going into low power mode then eventually into deep sleep mode. The battery was replaced at FORD. Now on 11/15/22 and 11/16/22 the vehicle went into low power mode and deep sleep mode again.
