There is an existing recall for 2020 ford f150's NHTA 25V442 Ford 25S72. Pertaining to the sync 3 malfunctioning as Ford put it "Ford says that an error in the SYNC infotainment system could cause a blank image to be displayed while reversing, or the rear-view image may remain on display even after a driver has stopped reversing." My vehicle is and has been doing this for a very long time. Sa.e problem. However, my vehicle VIN is not included in the recall. Will it be added at a later date?
I have 2 problems with my vehicle that have been going on for a while now. First there is an existing recall for 2020 ford f150's NHTA 25V442 Ford 25S72. However, my vehicle VIN is not included in the recall. Though it should be since it is the exact same problem. The other safety issue I have is the front facing camera. It has completely stopped working quite some time ago. I asked ford about it, and they told me they would have to charge me to look into it. I don't have the money to throw at problems that should be fixed under recall because they are safety issues. This camera not working shuts down the pre collision assist which is very dangerous. It also controls the auto hi and lo beam for seeing at night, and last but not least the cruise control doesn't work without it.

Transmission engages and disengages periodically as i slow down or come to a stop. Shifts erratically while driving from 6 gear to 4th gear , and when accellerating it hesitates from 2nd to 3rd gear, then shifts hard to 4th gear where i have to press on the brake to stop it. My concern is when it down shifts hard while in traffic, almost got rear ended one time. Just not safe to drive, ive have this truck for less than 5 months now. Preowned with less than 100k miles, just doesnt make sense..

This happens consistently, while driving with the cruise control, the truck takes off and speeds up almost causing the truck to ram other vehicles. Then the truck shudders and surges before throwing up several codes. I have read this is a problem with many Ford trucks. I feel like our lives are in serious danger . I was hoping there would be a recall because this is leaving customers in situations that may cause injury or death.

I was in an accident and the automatic braking sensor did not kick in even though there was a vehicle directly in front of me. As a result, my collision warning never sounded and the active braking feature of my vehicle never engaged.
The forward collision warning system has malfunctioned. Every time the engine is started the forward collision warning system comes on and says the system is not working and you must press the ok button twice to clear message.
Lara IPMA Computer Failure. Alert notice appeared on my truck display alon with an audible alarm indicating Front Camera Malfunction, Pre Collision Assist was Not Available. I contacted my Ford dealer(Columbia TN Ford). To schedule repairs. They had to replace the IPMA Computer to fix the system. The cost of repairs ($2107.91) was not covered by the Vehicle Warranty because of date. The truck has only 31606 miles on it. They service tech indicated the they have replaced many of these computers. I want to know how many of these SAFETY items must be replaced before the NHTSA takes action to effect a recall?

The 10 R 80 transmission is unstable and can cause the driver to downshift to make up for a shutter in drive train. Ford calls it normal operation. Secondly, the adaptive cruise control shuts off in traffic. At times unknown to the driver. Very unsafe.
The adaptive cruise control on the vehicle failed. When passing other vehicles, the system will engage the brakes unexpectedly and aggressively causing possible loss of control and exposes other drivers behind you to collide with your vehicle. Dealership did inspect vehicle but was unable to duplicate. This generally occurs on highway driving over long distances. There are no warning signs that this is going to occur. All of a sudden you will just feel the vehicle brake extremely hard. This happened multiple times while in used during 400 mile trip. (stopped using for remainder of the trip)
Park brake limited function. Service required. Says my brake light is on. Drains my battery. Is this the same Recall for 2021 & 2022??
while driving truck suddenly decides to go into neutral. this happens twice within an hour. truck is at ford dealership in granada ms. i’m waiting on what they find out
After work on my way home (clear weather), I was driving my 2020 F150 on the highway with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) engaged. Suddenly, I noticed that the ACC system was not responding properly to the traffic ahead, and it was not maintaining a safe distance as it usually does. I attempted to disengage the system, but it failed to respond, leaving me unable to control the vehicle's speed manually. Upon investigating, I discovered that the front camera, which is a crucial component of the ACC system, had failed. As a result, the pre-collision feature was also disabled, putting my safety and the safety of other road users at significant risk. Since the failure occurred suddenly and unexpectedly, there were no warning lamps or messages indicating the malfunction before it happened. The issue was not reproducible after the incident. In the meantime, for safety reasons, I have stopped using the ACC system and continue to drive the vehicle with heightened caution. Further more, after a week upon starting my truck, I got "Front camera malfunction" message, and my cruise control, pre-collision assist, and lane keeping assist are not functioning.

We had a lady turn In front od us and we ran into her. Front-end of truck damaged and pushed back towards doors. No airbags deployed, no collision assist warning went off.
Forward collision warning (pre collision assist not available) message comes on while driving with no vehicles in front, driving under normal conditions. Cross traffic system rear - Not detecting vehicles, intermittent. Reported to dealer, no faults or issues were found. Since being at the dealer, the 2 issues continue intermittently. We have the "Ford Pass" app which records any/all alerts, I cannot download them at this time.
I have had problems with the truck since I purchased it. The first week I had it went a trip with my daughter to Oregon. As we were headed back to Montana my crash assist starting going off and there was no other cars or objects around. I took it to Helena, Ford when I got back. The cameras are constantly going out and the crash assist has been failing. My truck will be back in the shop after it gets out of the shop in missoula, Mt. It will be back at Helena Ford for another camera that has gone out which isn’t allowing me to parallel park and may be affecting the crash assist again. My truck is in the shop constantly for the transmission or cameras. I have been constantly telling them my truck is shifting hard. It’s also been having brake problems which they can’t figure out. The brakes have been making a horrible loud sound. I have had transmission problems since I have purchased this. It has been shifting hard and I’ve taken it in for this again and again. They did something each time to the transmission. They also did a recall fix on it. It still continued to shift hard. All information is at Helena Ford, Helena Mt. I had a tow system installed on my truck to tow behind my motor home. I had the system installed by a Professional at Speciality Iron Works in Great Falls, Mt. I had them hook it up to my motorhome and we went through the whole set up according to Fords manual to put it in tow mode to tow behind the motorhome. It said tow mode enabled. When I got to my destination that day it had messed up my transmission and they( Ford Lithia, Missoula, Mt) are saying tow mode was not enabled. Before even looking at my truck they said to be prepared to pay out of pocket because Ford has not been doing anything about these situations. I have a witness that it was in tow mode. He is the manager at the shop that installed my tow system Gary Adams 4064523672. Ford said they couldn’t accept him as a witness because he doesn’t work at a Ford dealership.

WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON FRIDAY, MY 2020 F-150 STALLED. AN ERROR MESSAGE POPPED UP ON THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER SAYING "AUTO STARTSTOP SHIFT TO P THEN RESTART". I RESTARTED AND IT HAPPENED AGAIN. I THEN WAITED 10 MINUTES AND RESTARTED AND IT HAS NOT HAPPENED SINCE. I TOOK IT TO BOB THOMAS SERVICE IN HAMDEN, CT TODAY AND THEY ARE SAYING THEY CANNOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG. IF I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY OR TURNING ACROSS TRAFFIC, STALLING AT THAT TIME COULD BE DISASTROUS OR EVEN FATAL.
