Instrument cluster display goes black. Random occurrence. Lasts between 5 seconds to 1 minute. Dealer unable to reproduce.
Digital dash randomly goes out and stops working. Can’t see speed or any information
Dashboard is occasionally black when the truck is started. The gauges don't work, and an alarm starts ringing. After a short while the gauges start to appear on the screen one at a time. this has happened several times in the few months that I've owned this truck. I see that a recall has been issued for the 2025 and 2026 Model F150's but it is also happening in my 2024 F150 that I bought new in February 2025.
The contact owns a 2024 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving on the highway, the hood unexpectedly opened. The instrument cluster was blank, and while it was raining, water entered the vehicle. Additionally, the contact stated that the doors failed to open as needed, and the vehicle was experiencing charging issues, causing the vehicle to fail to charge as needed. The contact deleted the charging time, and the vehicle started to charge and then stopped. The contact stated that vehicle would charge to 74 percent. The contact also stated that the passenger’s seat heater turned on independently. The message "Hands not on the Steering Wheel" was displayed. While driving 20 MPH, the collision avoidance warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who was unable to duplicate the failure during the initial visit. The vehicle was towed to an unknown local dealer, where it was determined that there was corrosion in the plugs, and the harness was replaced. Additionally, the contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the TPMS alerted the driver that the PSI was at 7. The vehicle was taken to a tire center, which was unable to determine the cause of the failure but changed the tire. The contact stated that the taillight sensor had moisture. The manufacturer was contacted regarding a buy back, but the criteria was not met, and no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 2,000.

The electronic dash flickers black. It comes back on but it is distracting while driving as it draws my attention to the dash instead of the road. I have took it to the dealership with no investigation because it does not happen with their test drive while in their possession. There is no TSB for this issue per the dealership. There should be some investigation as they could look for a loose cable or inquire with the manufacture of the component through Ford. Something is defective...
The problem is the IPMA not working on the passenger camera the back hitch camera and the 360 Degree view camera. Ford dealer has no fix for the software solution at this time. thank you [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

[XXX]- Vehicle did not start, instrument cluster blacked out, infotainment screen blacked out. disconnected/reconnected battery myself everything worked. [XXX]- Instrument cluster blacked out, disconnected/reconnected battery myself, everything worked, dealership still towed vehicle in to diagnose. Same day dealership said the battery was "a little low" so they put a small charge on it and everything checked out fine. They said when I disconnect/reconnect the battery the codes are reset. So i should hope that the issue does not happen again but if it does, don't disconnect/reconnect the battery. [XXX]- Instrument cluster blacked out, drove straight to dealership where the service writer witnessed the issue and started a service file. Codes were pulled and in just the four days since it was last in the dealership there were multiple codes recorded (appx 40 over the four days). Diagnosis was a bad instrument cluster/computer module that is attached. It was replaced and vehicle returned 04 August 2025. [XXX]- Instrument cluster blacked out, drove straight to the dealership, where Service Writer, Service Manager, and Parts Manager all witnessed the same issue. Started another service file. As of the writing of this information, 08 August 2025, the vehicle is still in the shop. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
WONT SHIFT TO PARK
Truck console shifter lever was shifted in Neutral. The automatic return to park feature was engaged by opening the driver door while the vehicle was stopped. The dash indicates the vehicle was in park but the shifter was stuck in the Neutral position. A tow truck was necessary because the shift lever would not return to the park position, and control of the shift lever is necessary in order to use the neutral over ride feature of the truck. Making it difficult for a tow truck to load the vehicle.
While driving, the Instrument cluster will shut off and turn back on. 1 time while using ford Blue Cruise feature, when the instrument screen shut off, the truck lost communication swerved into the other lane. I have had the instrument cluster screen replaced 3 time and it would randomly turn off/on while driving.

The component that is malfunctioning is the LCD dash screen that contains all of the dash indicators (Speed, RPM, gear indicator, etc.). The issue is that without warning, different colored lines flash across the screen. It is distracting and I am quite worried that if the screen goes out, I will not know how fast I am going, and I won't be able to see any of the dash indicators related to the system status. It is getting worse every day that I have the vehicle, and now the whole screen is flickering. I purchased the vehicle approximately 3 days ago and the issue has recurred every single day and I have taken a video every time it occurs (as of this report I have 7 videos). The vehicle has not been confirmed by the dealer or others because the dealer will not let me bring it in until their next available appointment on 3 March 2025. There are no warning lamps or messages that come up. Typically the symptoms appear after the vehicle is fully warmed up, or if the heater has been running for a while.
While driving, the screen in front of the driver (dash) which displays information such as speed, transmission gear, parking brake, and other important information, will flicker and/or be distorted. This results in driver distraction and may prevent the driver from seeing safety-related information such as vehicle speed while operating the vehicle. The issue is intermittent, but typically resets when the vehicle is powered off and back on.

Every day at random when I drive to work I notice in what seems milliseconds that the digital gauge cluster screen will shut off and back on almost instantly, but slow enough that I notice it. It is always random and I have no way of replicating it. I noticed it after about 2,000 miles on this brand new truck.
My 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor V6, a brand-new vehicle purchased on [XXX], has accumulated 767 miles. On the evening of [XXX] in Orange County, California, while driving on the freeway at approximately 75 miles per hour, I experienced an unexpected issue. Everything appeared normal, and there were no warning lights on the instrument cluster indicating any problems with the truck. However, a few miles before exiting the freeway, I received a message through the Ford Pass App, accompanied by a warning on the instrument cluster that read, “Drivetrain malfunction, reduced power.” Despite the warning, I continued driving cautiously until I reached my home. Upon pulling into my driveway, I scanned my vehicle for error codes, which revealed the following: P0929-77 Gear Shift Lock Solenoid/Actuator Circuit "A" Range/Performance U211B-87 Control Module Message Authentication B1578-89 Digital Park Assist Camera Vision System U023A-00 Lost Communication With Image Processing Module A U0415-00 Invalid Data Received from Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Control Module "A" U102F-00 Invalid Internal Control Module Monitoring Data Received From All Wheel Drive Control Module The code that triggered the check engine light, as indicated by my vehicle’s scanning app, is P0929-77. On December 31st, I took the vehicle to Caruso Ford in Long Beach, California, for diagnosis. Unfortunately, Caruso Ford is currently unable to pinpoint the fault. The tech who examined my vehicle believes it’s an electrical issue rather than mechanical. I hope to receive an update on my vehicle by Tuesday, January 7th. Anti lock Brake Fault and disabled Hill Start assist failure Collision waring system failure All of these occurred while driving. Luckily I was able to move the vehicle of the road and was able to avoid any accidents.
Not 5 minutes ago I reported an issue to NHTSA regarding a 2024 Ford F-150 V6 Raptor. Just as I was submitting the form, I got an alert that remote features are disabled to preserve battery. The error texted to my phone states: “Don't worry though, nothing is wrong. This happens automatically when you haven't started your vehicle for a period of time.” I am not understanding why an error related to not driving recently would appear, I just drove about 70 miles round trip and have been home less than 30 minutes.
