THIS IS THE 8TH SEPARATION OUT OF 11 TIRES THEY HAVE ALL HAPPENED AFTER ABOUT 2 HOURS OF HIGHWAY DRIVING THIS ONE BLOW AND CAUSED ABOUT 2300 DOLLARS OF DAMAGE TO MY TRUCK NOT INCLUDING THE TIRE 3 MILES SOUTH OF IOLA KANSAS COMING FROM INDEPENDENCE MISSOURI IT GAVE ABOUT 3 TO 5 SECONDS OF BOBBLE AND AS I APPLIED THE BRAKES TO PULL OVER IT BLEW. THIS CAUSED THE TRUCK TO GO INTO THE ON COMING TRAFFIC AND I WAS JUST ABLE TO GET CONTROL OF THE TRUCK AND GET IT OFF THE ROAD.BF GOODICH CLAIM THERE IS NOT A PROBLEM WITH THIS TIRE BUT I HAVE DISCOVERED WHY THEY SAY THAT. THIS SIZE OF TIRE USUALLY IS PURCHASED FOR JEEPS AND SMALL PICKUP WEIGHING 3000 TO 4000 POUNDS BUT IS RATED FOR E LOAD WHEN YOU USED THE TIRE ON A LIGHTER VEHICLE IT DOES NOT HEAT UP BUT MY PICKUP IS 9000 LBS. BEFORE THIS LAST TRIP I HAD COSTCO CHECK THE TIRES AND AIR PRESSURE THE DAY BEFORE THE TRIP AND I CHECKED THEM ON THE DAY OF THE TRIP. SO I KNOW THEY WERE AIR TO THE REQUIRED PRESSURE. BF GOODRICH TA KM2 TIRES I HAVE THREE SEPARATE ON A TRIP THAT STARTED AUGUST 14,2015 THE TIRES HAVE 19000 MILES ON THEM. THE FIRST TIRE SEPARATED ON THE 14TH AND I PUT A SPARE ON IT. THE OTHER TWO TIRES SEPARATED ON THE 16TH AND NOW THE 4TH TIRE IS SHOWING SIGNS OF SEPARATION. THE TIRES WERE PURCHASED FROM COSTCO ON 6/6/2012 MILEAGE ON THE PICHUP WAS 151101 AND IS NOW170852.2

DRIVING ON SH 239 IN REFUGIO COUNTY, TEXAS AT APPROX. 70 MPH BETWEEN TIVOLI, TX AND US HIGHWAY 77 SOUTH. RIGHT FRONT TIRE BLEW OUT WHICH IMMEDIATELY CAUSED THE TRUCK TO VEER OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY, OVER A METAL CULVERT, GO AIRBORNE THROUGH A BARBED WIRE FENCE AT THE CORNER POSTS, LAND IN A PASTURE AND CONTINUE THROUGH ANOTHER BARBED WIRE FENCE WITH METAL FENCE POSTS. DISTANCE TRAVELED FROM ROAD TO STOPPING POINT APPROXIMATELY 70-75 YARDS. TIRES PURCHASED AT DISCOUNT TIRE, 9/16/2009 TRUCK MILEAGE 68,000, ALL TIRES REPLACED AT THIS TIME WITH LT/265/75R16E1 123R B BF GOODRICH RUGGED TRAIL T/A RBL TIRES. *TR

A MONTH AGO I HAD A BRIDGESTONE A/T REVO SEPARATE AND MANAGED TO GET IT REPLACED BEFORE IT BLEW. THIS PAST FRIDAY I WAS TOWING A TRAILER AND HAD ANOTHER SEPARATE AND BEFORE I COULD GET STOPPED IT BLEW OUT ALSO. FORTUNATELY IT WAS ON THE BACK AND I MANAGED TO GET THE TRUCK AND TRAILER STOPPED SAFELY. NOT SURE I COULD HAVE DONE THIS HAD IT BEEN ON THE FRONT. TIRES WERE AIRED PROPERLY THAT MORNING ALSO. RIPPED MY RIGHT REAR FENDER UP ALSO. TWO OF THE SAME TIRES PURCHASED AT THE SAME TIME SEPARATED WITHIN A MONTH OF EACH OTHER. *TR
SUBJECT: DEVELOP A NOTICEABLE BLISTER ON THE SIDEWALL, WHICH MAY EVENTUALLY RESULT IN TIRE AIR PRESSURE LOSS ALL 4 KUMHO ROAD VENTURE AT-KL78 HAVE LARGE BLISTERS ON SIDE WALLS. YOU CAN PUSH THE BLISTERS IN WITH YOUR FINGERS. THEY LOOK TO BE READY TO POP. I CHECKED THE RECALL LIST AND FIND THE LATEST TIRE RECALLS FROM THE NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY ADMINISTRATION AND MY TIRES ARE PART OF THE RECALL. I DID NOT RECEIVE ANY NOTIFICATION AND WOULD ASK FOR YOU TO SEND ME A RECALL REPLACEMENT AUTHORIZATION FOR MY TIRES. *TR
YOKOHAMA GEOLANDER A/T-S LT315/75R16 CRACKING AND SEPARATION OF TIRE TREAD AROUND ENTIRE CIRCUMFERENCE OF TIRES. ALL 4 TIRES PURCHASED 6/7/07 HAD 50% TREADWEAR AND 52K MILES. THESE WERE NOT DRY ROT CRACKS. YOKOHAMA CREATED CASE# AND ISSUED A 50% CREDIT TOWARDS 4 NEW TIRES AT DISCOUNT TIRE. I HAVE PICTURES OF THE DAMAGED TIRES. *TR
TIRE FAILURE. B F GOODRICH UUF212210. I HAD 2 OF THE TIRE FAIL IN JUNE 2012. I HAD THE OTHER 2 TIRE EXAMINED AND WERE SAID TO BE GOOD. THE 3RD TIRE FAILED IN SEPTEMBER CAUSING MY TRUCK TO LEAVE THE HI WAY TROTALING OUT THE TRAVEL TRAILRE I WAS TOWING TO ROLL OVER AND TOTALED OUT. B F GOODRICH DENIED MY CLAIM SAYING IT WAS CAUSED BY A ROAD HAZZARD. I NEVER HIT ANYTHING IN ANY OF THE TIRE FAILURES. I HAVE THE TIRE AND PHOTOS OF THE OTHER 2 TIRES THAT HAD BELT FAILURES. I DO NOT BELIEVE IN COINCIDENCE. I BELIEVE THAT THE ENTIRE SET OF TIRES WERE DEFWECTIVE AND THAT B F GOOD RICH IS TRYING TO COVER IT UP. I BELIEVE THAT AN INVESTIGATION IS IN ORDER. *TR

MY DICK CEPEC FC II TIRES HAD THE TREAD SEPERATE FROM THE STEEL BELTS. THREE DEVELOPED AIR BUBBLES IN THE TREAD AREA, BUT ONE SLUNG THE TREAD OFF CAUSING DAMAGE TO MY TRUCK. I WAS TOLD BY DICK CEPEC THAT THE NUMBERS DIDN'T MATCH THE RECALLED TIRES SO THEY WOULD NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE TIRES OR ANY DAMAGE. *TT

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 FORD F-250 SUPER DUTY EQUIPPED WITH AMERITRACK TR TIRES. WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO SHAKE EXCESSIVELY. THE VEHICLE WAS PULLED OVER AND THE CONTACT NOTICED THE TREAD HAD SEPARATED FROM THE FRONT DRIVERS SIDE TIRE. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO AN INDEPENDENT REPAIR CENTER WHERE A FULL SIZED SPARE WAS INSTALLED ON THE FRONT DRIVERS SIDE. SIX DAYS LATER WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH; THE FAILURE RECURRED ON THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE TIRE. THE VEHICLE WAS PULLED OVER AND THE CONTACT INSTALLED A SPARE TIRE ON THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED FOR THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 43,900.

I WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MILES PER HOUR ON THE HIGHWAY. I HAD THE REAR DRIVER SIDE TIRE BLOW OUT ON THE HIGHWAY. THIS OCCURRED WITHOUT ANY WARNING OF IMMINENT FAILURE. THE TIRES HAD APPROX 40,000 MILES ON THEM AND ARE THE ORIGINAL TIRES SUPPLIED WITH THE VEHICLE. IT IS A 2004 FORD F-250 LARIAT DIESEL EXTENDED CAB. THE VEHICLE HAS APPROX. 40,000 MILES ON THE ODOMETER. I PURCHASED IT USED IN DECEMBER OF 2008 AND WAS NOT INFORMED OF ANY RECALLS. I BELIEVE THESE ARE DEFECTIVE TIRES. SPLITS ARE EVIDENT IN AT LEAST ONE MORE TIRE. BF GOODRICH TIRES. MY VIN IS [XXX] . I HAVE CHANGED ALL FOUR TIRES AND RETAIN POSSESSION OF ALL THE REMNANTS COLLECTED FROM THE ROADWAY. FORD F-250 KING RANCH I AM A 5 TIME REPEAT FORD CUSTOMER. MY F-250 HAS A BOUNCE IN THAT CANNOT BE CURED. FORD HAD ME REPLACE ALL 4 TIRES TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM WITH NO RESULTS. AFTER SPENDING THE MONEY ON THE TIRES, FORD TELLS ME IT IS A NORMAL CHARACTERISTIC OF THE TRUCK. I HAVE RECENT SERVICE INVOICES WITH "CHECKED AND OK AT THIS TIME" RATINGS ON ALL 4 OF THE OLD TIRES. FORD WILL NOT FIX THE PROBLEM, OR REFUND MY TIRES. I HAVE BEEN TO 3 DEALERSHIPS AND IN COMMUNICATION WITH FORD MOTOR COMPANY. COOPER TIRE MAY HAVE HISTORY OF PROBLEMS AS I HAVE FOUND ON THE WEB. DAMAGE TO VEHICLE WAS LEFT REAR FENDER BENT, AND BLACK RUBBER AND STEEL BELT SCRATCHES ON OUTSIDE RADIUS OF WHEEL WELL. DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE TRAVELING 65 MPH, A VIBRATION WAS FELT FROM THE STEERING WHEEL ALONG WITH THE FRONT AND REAR OF THE VEHICLE. THE SERVICE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER REPLACED THE ENTIRE FRONT END, ALL AXLES, ROTORS, RING AND PINION AND WHEEL HUBS, BUT THE VIBRATION CONTINUED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD AN ENGINEER TEST THE VEHICLE AND FOUND THE VIBRATION TO BE WITHIN OPERATING STANDARDS.*AK THE FUEL LIGHT ILLUMINATED, THE CENTER CONSOLE SQUEAKED, THE LOWER BALL JOINTS WERE REPLACED.
