FRONT END VIBRATION WHILE DRIVING AROUND 60MPH WHICH TURNS INTO A REAL BAD SHIMMY SOMETIMES. STEERING WHEEL SHAKES VIOLENTLY. HAVE RECEIVED A COUPLE OF NOTICES FROM FORD MOTOR CO. THAT TELL ME THEY ARE AWARE AND TO JUST SLOW DOWN WHEN IT HAPPENS. THIS HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES SINCE I HAD THE TRUCK SINCE 2011. NO SPECIFIC DATES.
WHILE DRIVING AND GOING OVER A BUMP BETWEEN 60 AND 70 MPH ON THE HIGHWAY, THE TRUCKS FRONT END STARTS TO VIOLENTLY SHAKE CAUSING THE TRUCK TO LOSE CONTROL. NOTE ONLY DRIVING POSTED SPEED LIMIT. THIS HAS HAPPENED ON THREE (3) OCCASIONS MOSTLY RECENTLY 7/17/16 AND 7/19/16 WHILE TRAVELING S/B ON INTERSTATE 95 AND TRAVELING N/B ON INTERSTATE 95. THE DEFECT CAUSES YOU TO DRIVE AT REDUCED SPEEDS ON THE HIGHWAY. HAVE DONE RESEARCH AND IT IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH FORD TRUCK WITH STRAIGHT FRONT AXLES. FORD IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM.

THE CONTACT HAD TO USE EFFORT TO REGAIN CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND APPLIED THE BRAKES UNTIL THE VEHICLE WAS AT A STOP. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE CONTACT LATER RECEIVED A FIELD ACTION NOTIFICATION FROM THE MANUFACTURER (LETTER NUMBER: 09L02 ) PERTAINING TO A POSSIBLE 'DEATH WOBBLE' . THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 32,000.

DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AND HIT A BUMP IN THE ROAD THE TRUCK STARTED TO DO THE DEATH WOBBLE AND SHAKING UNCONTROLLABLY. I HAVE TO SLOW DOWN AND JERK THE WHEEL TO GET IT TO STOP. ITS INCREASINGLY GETTING WORSE AND NOW DOING IT AT LOWER SPEEDS AROUND 25- 30MPH. THIS HAS ALMOST CAUSED WRECKS WITH VEHICLES REAR ENDING ME, OR WOBBLING IN THEIR DIRECTION. IT ALSO HAPPENED IN A NEIGHBORHOOD WITH CHILDREN PLAYING, I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO HIT THE KIDS! THE BRAKES ALSO FAIL WHILE BEAKING AND HITTING A BUMP. THE TIRES ARE AT THE RECOMMENDED PRESSURE AND THAT IS NOT THE PROBLEM. THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM AS I HAVE SEEN WHILE DOING MORE RESEARCH. IM AFRAID THIS WILL EVENTUALLY CAUSE THE TRUCK TO ROLL OR WRECK. DONT LET THE LOSS OF LIFE OPEN THIS INVESTIGATION AGAIN.

SIX MONTHS AFTER BUYING TRUCK, I NOTICED ON THE HIGHWAY AT SPEEDS BETWEEN 60-70 MPH IF I HIT A SERIES OF BUMPS IN THE ROAD THE FRONT END STARTS TO SHAKE VIOLENTLY AND MUST SLOW DOWN TO 35-40 MPH TO STOP THE SHAKING. I STILL HAVE THE TRUCK FORD SENT ME A LETTER SAYING THERE ARE NO ISSUES BUT TO MAKE SURE TIRES ARE PROPERLY INFLATED AND BALANCED. THAT DOES NOT STOP THE VIOLENT SHAKING. I HAVE NOT HAD IT REPAIRED BECAUSE I HAVE READ SO MANY OTHER COMPLAINTS WHERE THEY HAVE SPENT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS AND STILL HAVE THE ISSUE. I AM WAITING FOR FORD TO RECALL AND CORRECT THIS PROBLEM. THE VEHICLE JUMPED A HALF LANE OVER AND I HAD LOST CONTROL UNTIL MY SPEED WAS REDUCED. AT THAT TIME I WAS AFRAID OF SLAMMING ON THE BRAKES AND LOSING MORE CONTROL OR POSSIBLY FLIPPING OVER. NOW THIS VIOLENT SHAKING OCCURS EVERY TIME I HIT A POT HOLE OR ANY UNEVEN SURFACE AT 55 TO 60 MPH. DRIVING ALONG AT ABOUT 45 MPH, HIT A ROUGH PATCH OF PAVEMENT AND THE FRONT END OF THE TRUCK BEGAN TO BOUNCE AND THE STEERING WHEEL BEGAN TO OSCILLATE BACK AND FORTH, ALTHOUGH THE TRUCK DID NOT GO LEFT OR RIGHT FROM THE LINE OF TRAVEL. AFTER SLOWING DOWN THE TRUCK CAME BACK UNDER MY CONTROL, BOUNCE AND OSCILLATION STOPPED. THIS HAS HAPPENED NUMEROUS TIMES (WEEKLY), WITH THE ORIGINAL TIRES AND WITH REPLACEMENT TIRES. I HAVE HAD THE FRONT END ALIGNED AND TIRES BALANCED. I CHECK THE AIR PRESSURE WEEKLY. ALL OF THIS HAD NO AFFECT ON THE OSCILLATIONS. I WOULD DRIVE OVER THE SAME AREAS DAILY ANDCOULD CONTINUE TO REPEAT WHAT HAD HAPPENED BY DRIVING THE SAME SPEED OVER THE SAME PIECE OF BAD PAVEMENT. IT IS NO WORSE OR BETTER THAN WHEN IT FIRST HAPPENED. BUT HAVING MY WIFE DRIVE THE TRUCK AND HAVE THE SAME ISSUE CONCERNED ME. I DID RESEARCH THAT LED ME TO FIND OUT THAT THIS IS A PROBLEM AFFECTS NUMEROUS F-250S AND TO YOUR WEBSITE. A FEW MILES LATER WE CROSSED ANOTHER BRIDGE THIS TIME DOING 65 MPH AND THE FRONT END BEGAN TO VIBRATE AGAIN BUT STOPPED MUCH QUICKER THAN BEFORE ONCE I DECREASED TO 45MPH. THIS ISSUE IS RAMPANT ON THE VEHICLE REPORTING WEBSITES AND WILL EVENTUALLY GET SOMEONE KILLED. I PRAY FORD DECIDES TO FINALLY INVESTIGATE AND OFFER SOME FACTUAL EVIDENCE AND A PERMANENT SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM SO MANY DRIVERS ARE EXPERIENCE WITH THESE TRUCKS.I LOVE MY FORD TRUCK BUT NOT AT THE COST OF LOSING MY LIFE OR CAUSE INJURY TO SOMEONE ELSE. *TR

SHIMMY- THE SHIMMY PROBLEM THAT OCCURS IN THE 4X4 F250 SHOULD STILL BE A SIGNIFICANT ISSUE FOR THOSE OF US THAT STILL OWN THESE TRUCKS. THE DEALER TRIED THE TIRE INFLATION STORY WITH ME, BUT THAT DID NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM. ROAD RACING SPORT CARS FOR MANY YEARS I KNOW THAT ONE POUND CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN HANDLING AND I MADE SURE THAT THE TIRES WERE INFLATED CORRECTLY. THEN THEY TOLD ME THAT FORD SENT THEM A NEW SET OF ALIGNMENT SPECS. WELL AS WE ALL KNOW NOW THAT DID NOT FIX IT EITHER. THEN THEY TOLD ME THAT THE TIRES BEING CUPPED WAS CAUSING THE SHIMMY, MY RESPONSE TO THAT WAS THAT IT WAS THE SHIMMY CAUSING THE TIRES TO CUP NOT THE TIRES BEING CUPPED CAUSING THE SHIMMY, ALTHOUGH THE WORSE THE CUPPING, THE WORSE THE SHIMMY. AFTER INSISTING ON NEW TIRES AND THEN THE NEW LINE UP SPECS, WE TRIED IT AGAIN. THEN 960 MILES LATER AND ONLY ROAD DRIVING THE SAME CUPPING WAS HAPPENING AGAIN. THEN IT WAS THE DAMPENER AND ATTACH POINT THAT WAS THE PROBLEM. THEN 2 YEARS LATER CAME THE LETTER ABOUT DECELERATING AND APPLYING THE BRAKES AND THEN ABOUT 45 MPH IT SHOULD FIX IT. I GUESS THAT WOULD BE OK UNTIL YOUR GOING DOWN THE INTERSTATE AT 70 MPH WITH AN 18 WHEELER BEHIND YOU GOING 70 MPH. WOULD IT BE OK AFTER WHAT COULD BE A SERIOUS AND POSSIBLY FATAL ACCIDENT THAT I COULD PULL OUT MY LETTER THAT I GOT FROM FORD AND TELL EVERYONE, SORRY BUT I DRIVE A FORD. *KB

NEW TIRES, PROPER PRESSURE, BALANCED, ROTATED DOES NOT CHANGE THE CONDITION. POOR AIR PRESSURE MAINTENANCE BY VEHICLE OWNERS WAS NOT THE CORRECT DIAGNOSIS OF THIS PROBLEM. THE WHEEL SHIMMY IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THESE TRUCKS AND NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED FURTHER. IT IS VERY DANGEROUS AND UNPREDICTABLE. THE WHEEL SHIMMY WILL NOT STOP UNTIL THE VEHICLE HAS ALMOST COME TO A COMPLETE STOP. LOSS OF CONTROL AND BECOMING A TRAFFIC HAZARD IS A POTENTIAL LIFE THREATENING EVENT FOR THE DRIVER, PASSENGERS AND SURROUNDING VEHICLES. WITH A LITTLE RESEARCH ON THE INTERNET YOU WILL FIND THERE ARE NUMEROUS SIMILAR COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE FRONT END OF THE 2006 FORD F250 I HAVE THE PROPER TIRES WITH PROPER INFLATION I HAD A NEW STEERING GEAR BOX PUT ON WITH A NEW POWER STEERING UNIT THE PROBLEM IS BECOMING MORE FREQUENT I JUST GOT BACK FROM A 300 MILE TRIP THIS HAPPENED 8-10 TIMES AND IF TRAFFIC PATTERNS WERE ANY DIFFERENT THIS POTENTIAL RECALL WOULD HAVE KILLED MY WHOLE FAMILY AND SOMEBODY ELSE'S! A MECHANIC REPLACED THE BUSHINGS IN THE FRONT TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM, WHICH COST $210. BUT IT DIDN'T FIX THE PROBLEM, MY SON COMPLAINED AGAIN A WEEK LATER AND HIS NEW TIRES PURCHASED FALL 2010 WERE BASICALLY BARE. I HAD THE TRUCK INSPECTED BY THE LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD THAT THE TRUCK WOULD QUALIFY AS A CERTIFIED PRE OWNED VEHICLE. I ALSO PURCHASED THE PREMIER LEVEL EXTENDED WARRANTY OFFERED BY FORD. SHORTLY AFTER MY PURCHASE I NOTICED A SIGNIFICANT FROM WENT SHIMMY THAT WAS FELT IN THE STEERING WHEEL. FORD DEALERSHIP REPLACED TRACK BAR. TRUCK WAS ALIGNED AND TIRES ROTATED. SINCE THAT TIME I HAVE EXPERIENCED WHAT CAN ONLY BE DESCRIBED AS A VIOLENT FRONT END WOBBLE THAT IS PRECIPITATED BY RUNNING OVER ANY SIGNIFICANT ROAD IMPERFECTION AT ANY SPEED BETWEEN 35 AND 45 MPH. THE WOBBLE BECOMES SO SEVERE THAT CONTROLLING THE VEHICLE BECOMES NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE UNLESS THE SPEED IS REDUCED TO APPROXIMATELY 25MPH, AT WHICH TIME THE WOBBLE STOPS. I HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS ON AT LEAST TEN DIFFERENT OCCASIONS AND I AM CERTAIN THAT IF MY WIFE OR TEENAGE DAUGHTER HAD BEEN DRIVING THE TRUCK THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN A SERIOUS COLLISION. I AM IN RECEIPT OF ALETTER FROM FORD MOTOR CO. ADVISING ME OF OTHER COMPLAINTS RELATIVE TO THIS WOBBLE AND ADVISING ME THAT I SHOULD SCRUPULOUSLY MONITOR MY TIRE PRESSURE. I HAVE DONE AS FORD RECOMMENDED, BUT DESPITE THIS I HAVE CONTINUED TO EXPERIENCE THE WOBBLE. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER OF A 2006 FORD F250 PICKUP. I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE NEW IN 2006. AT APPROXIMATELY THE 30,000 MILE MARK THE TRUCK STARTED TO EXPERIENCE A SEVERE SHIMMY AFTER DRIVING OVER A BUMP. THIS WOULD OCCUR RATHER RANDOMLY AND APPARENTLY UNDER ONLY THE PERFECT "BUMP OSCILLATION." ONCE THE SHIMMY STARTED THE IT WOULD GET WORSE UNTIL THE VEHICLE WAS NEARLY STOPPED. VERY DANGEROUS AND UNNERVING. SINCE IT WAS RANDOM AND INTERMITTENT AND I WAS VERY BUSY I PUT OFF TAKING THE VEHICLE INTO THE DEALER UNTIL SEVERAL THOUSAND MILES HAD PASSED AND THE SHIMMY EPISODES GREW MORE FREQUENT. AS A FORMER MECHANIC (CURRENT OCCUPATION IS ENGINEER), I STAYED ON TOP OF MAINTENANCE AND TIRE PRESSURES. AT APPROXIMATELY 37,000 MILES I TOOK THE VEHICLE INTO THE LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP WHERE I PURCHASED IT FOR EVALUATION AND REPAIR OF THE SHIMMY. EVEN THOUGH THE VEHICLE WAS BARELY OUT OF WARRANTY THE DEALER CHARGED ME APPROXIMATELY $1000 TO FIX IT. THE REPAIRS APPEARED TO CORRECT THE SHIMMY AS IT HAS NO DONE SO IN THE 10,000 MILES SINCE THE REPAIRS. ON 4-22-09 I RECEIVE A LETTER FROM FORD MOTOR COMPANY STATING THAT FOMOCO AND NHTSA ARE STUDYING THIS CONDITION. SINCE I HAD A DIRECT EXPERIENCE WITH THE SITUATION AND HAVE VALUABLE INSIGHT TO HOW VEHICLE OPERATE I THOUGHT I WOULD PASS ALONG MY EXPERIENCE. THIS IS A SUSPENSION PROBLEM THAT I NOTICED ABOUT 9 MONTHS AFTER I BOUGHT THE VEH., (2006 FORD F-250SD). THE PROBLEM IS IN THE SUSPENSION. AFTER THE LAST INCIDENT ON 8/2/2006, I HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO MY LOCAL FORD DEALER ON 8/5/2006. THIS WAS NOW THE SECOND TIME VEHICLE WAS BROUGHT INTO A FORD DEALERSHIP FOR THIS PROBLEM. THE FIRST DEALERSHIP REQUIRED THAT I REPRODUCE THIS PROBLEM FOR THE TECH WORKING ON THE VEHICLE. I WAS TOLD EVERYTHING WAS FINE WITH THE VEHICLE. THIS SECOND DEALERSHIP HAD MY TRUCK UNTIL 8/11/2006 AND SAID THE PROBLEM HAD BEEN CORRECTED. I WAS TOLD SOME METAL BUSHINGS WERE REPLACED IN THE FRONT END AND THAT CHAMBER OR CASTER WAS WAY OFF. I WAS ALSO TOLD TO MAKE SURE AND ROTATE TIRES AT SUGGESTED INTERVALS AND TO KEEP TIRES PROPERLY INFLATED. I NOTICED WHEN I LEFT THAT THE TRUCK HAD A CHOPPY BOUNCE TO THE RIDE AND WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS FROM THE TIRE WEAR. THE ODOMETER READING AT THAT TIME WAS 22065. AFTER DRIVING THE TRUCK FOR ABOUT 3000 MILES, I TOOK THE TRUCK BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE I PURCHASED THE TRUCK. THEY ROAD TESTED THE TRUCK, THEN REBALANCED ALL 4 TIRES AND REINDEXED THE REAR TIRES. THESE ARE THE TIRES THAT WERE ORIGINALLY ON THE FRONT AND ROTATED AT THE SECOND DEALERSHIP. THE VEHICLE CONTINUES TO HAVE A CHOPPY BOUNCE II THE RIDE, WHICH NOW I WAS TOLD WAS NORMAL OR ACCEPTABLE. IF THE TRUCK WOULD HAVE RODE THAT WAY WHEN I PURCHASED IT, I WOULD HAVE NEVER PURCHASED IT. I WENT FROM HAVING A SMOOTH RIDING TRUCK THAT ON OCCASION HAD A SEVERE OSCILLATION IN THE FRONT END AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS 65 AND HIGHER, TO ONE THAT BOUNCES ALL THE TIME. AT SPEED ABOVE 55 MPH IF I HIT A BUMP, THE STEERING WHEEL WILL START TO OSCILLATED ABOUT 4" INCHES IN EITHER DIRECTION AND WILL NOT STOP UNTIL I SLOW DOWN. PREVIOUSLY WHEN THE TRUCK BED WAS EMPTY WE HAVE HAD MILD EPISODES OF SHAKING, WHICH WOULD RESOLVE ITSELF WITHOUT BRAKING. HOWEVER, TODAY WE HAD AN EARTH-SHATTERING HYPER-SHAKE, WHICH WE WOULDN'T SUBSIDE. WE HAD A SMALL LOAD OF FENCING IN THE BED AND WERE ROUNDING A CURVE ON ROUGH PAVEMENT (AS MOST ROADS IN NW PA ARE) AT ABOUT 50 MPH. THE SHAKING IN THE FRONT END WAS SO BAD THAT THE BRAKES DIDN'T EVEN SEEM TO SLOW THE TRUCK DOWN AND WE HAD SERIOUS STEERING CONTROL PROBLEMS. LUCKILY, THERE WAS NO ONCOMING TRAFFIC, BUT THE TOYOTA TRUCK WHICH HAD BEEN TAILGATING US DROPPED BACK ABOUT 20 CAR LENGTHS AFTER OUR VIOLENT SHAKING AND SKIPPING EPISODE OF APPROXIMATELY 20 SECONDS. NOTHING OBVIOUSLY BROKEN WAS EVIDENT. I SEARCHED THE INTERNET AND DISCOVERED THAT THIS IS A COMMON AND DANGEROUS PROBLEM WITH THESE TRUCKS. I DROPPED THE TRUCK OFF AT THE DEALER. THEY ACKNOWLEDGED THEIR AWARENESS OF THE PROBLEM, BUT CLAIMED THEY WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE IT DURING THEIR ROAD TEST. THIS IS NOT SURPRISING, AS IT TYPICALLY ONLY OCCURS WHEN YOU HIT A SHARP BUMP OR SERIES OF BUMPS AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. THEY PERFORMED SOME OF THE REPAIRS/ADJUSTMENTS SPECIFIED BY FORD'S TSB 07-10-10, BUT THE PROBLEM PERSISTS. TRUCK HAS A VERTICAL VIBRATION MOST NOTICEABLE BETWEEN 45-50 MPH. TRUCK ALSO HAS STEERING PROBLEM AT HIGH SPEEDS SUCH AS INTERSTATE DRIVING. AN EXPANSION JOINT IN THE HIGHWAY WILL JUST ABOUT CAUSE LOSS OF CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. FORD DENIES ANY PROBLEM, YET HAS ISSUED TSB 07-05-11 TO ADDRESS THE CONCERN THAT A FEW CUSTOMERS MAY HAVE. I OWN A 2006 F250 4*4 AND WHILE DRIVING AT SPEEDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH THE TRUCK SHAKES VIOLENTLY AND EVEN SWAYS FROM LANE TO LANE, WHEN ENCOUNTERING ANY ROUGH PLACE IN THE ROADWAY. THIS IS A VERY VIOLENT SHAKING AND I HAVE BEEN FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO KEEP THE TRUCK FROM WRECKING. THE SHAKING WILL NOT STOP UNTIL YOU HAVE SLOWN DOWN DRAMATICALLY OR COME TO A STOP. FORD HAS COMMENTED THAT IT COULD BE THE AIR PRESSURE AND HAVE ORDERED A STEERING DAMPER TO TRY TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. THIS TRUCK HAS DONE THIS SINCE DAY ONE AND WITH THE FACTORY TIRES AND THE NEW TIRES THAT I HAVE ON IT NOW. THIS PROBLEM NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED BEFORE SOMEONE IS KILLED IN AN ACCIDENT RESULTING FROM THE DEFECT IN DESIGN.

FIRST OCCURRENCE, TAKEN TO FORD DEALER, AND THEY REPLACED DEFECTIVE" STEERING DAMPER. SECOND TIME TAKEN TO FORD DEALER - THEY RAN TCP FOR NEW ALIGNMENT SPECS AND NEW, IMPROVED STEERING DAMPER. THIRD TIME TAKEN TO FORD DEALER - REPLACED TRACK ARM BALL JOINT AND ADJUSTED ALIGNMENT TO MORE NEW SPECS. FOURTH TIME AT FORD DEALER - TSB ADJUSTED ALIGNMENT TO NEW SPECS AND REPLACED STEERING DAMPER WITH ANOTHER NEW, IMPROVED PART. *AK VEHICLE IS IN REPAIR SHOP FOR FIFTH TIME AT THIS MOMENT. NO ATTEMPTED REPAIRS HAVE LASTED MORE THAN 2000 MILES.

THE TRUCK EXPERIENCES A DANGEROUS "HYPER-SHAKE" AT APPROXIMATELY 50-70 MPH. THE TRUCK SHAKES VIOLENTLY SIDE TO SIDE, AND UP AND DOWN AND DRIFTS OUT OF LANE AND TO CORRECT IT MUST APPLY THE BRAKES. STEERING OF THE VEHICLE IS SIGNIFICANTLY IMPEDED , AND SHAKING CONTINUES UNTIL TRUCK SPEED IS DECREASED TO APPROX. 30 MPH. I HAVE DONE ALL SUGGESTIONS GIVEN TO ME BY THE DEALERSHIPS. REBALANCE TIRES, CHECKED ALIGNMENT AND TIRE PRESSURE. I AM CURRENTLY TAKING THIS VEHICLE TO FORD DEALERSHIP MARCH 23, 2007 FOR THEM TO TRY AND FIX THE HYPER-SHAKE. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS ISSUE AND IT NEEDS TO BE CORRECTED. THIS VEHICLE IS NOT HIGHWAY SAFE.

SINCE IT WAS BRAND NEW, MY 2006 FORD F250 BOUNCES SO SEVERELY ON THE HIGHWAY AT SPEEDS OVER 55 MPH WHEN HITTING EXPANSION JOINTS, IT HAS CAUSED LOSS OF CONTROL. THIS ONLY HAPPENS ON CERTAIN SECTIONS OF HIGHWAY. NO INJURIES HAVE OCCURED YET AS I HAVE LEARNED WHICH PARTS OF THE HIGHWAY TO SLOW DOWN ON. BUT, THE VEHICLE IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE ON STRANGE HIGHWAYS.
I WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY AT AROUND 65 MPH, AND I HIT A POTHOLE. AFTER HITTING THE POTHOLE (RATHER SMALL), THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO SHAKE VIOLENTLY OUT OF CONTROL AND DID NOT STOP UNTIL I WAS ABLE TO PULL OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE FREEWAY AND STOP THE VEHICLE. THIS HAS HAPPENED A TOTAL OF 3 TIMES SO FAR. IT HAS OCCURRED AT 11,000; 14,000; AND 17,000 MILES. CHECKED TIRE PRESSURE AND BALANCE PERSONALLY AND EVERYTHING WAS FINE. CALLED TO ASK DEALERSHIP ABOUT PROBLEM, THEY SAID TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO BRING IT IN, HAVE NOT DONE SO YET. *NM
