THIS IS ABOUT A FUEL TANK DELIVERY AND AIR INDUCTION BULLETIN, CROSS TANK FUEL FLOW PROBLEM MY FORD F250 TRUCK IS HAVING. I HAVE NOTIFIED MY LOCAL DEALERSHIP AND FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE, THEY BOTH SAY THERE IS NO RECALL FOR THIS VEHICLE. BUT I FOUND A NHTSA CAMPAIGN # 93V12500 DESCRIBING EXACTLY WHAT HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR THE LAST 6 MONTHS. IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED AND IS EXPENSIVE, BUT I CAN'T GET ANY SATISFACTION FROM FORD, I'M HOPING YOU CAN HELP. *TR UPDATED 04/15/10.*JB

NHTSA RECALL CAMPAIGN 01I008000 CONCERNING FUEL CROSS FLOW. AFTER HAVING RECALL REPAIRS PERFORMED THE PROBLEM RECURRED. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION, BUT MECHANIC COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. *AK

DUAL FUEL TANKS. FUEL IS RUNNING FROM FRONT TANK TO REAR WHICH IS CAUSING IT TO OVERFLOW AND LEAK ONTO STREET, RESULTING IN FIRE HAZARD. DEALER REPLACED PUMP ASSEMBLY, AND OTHER RELATED PARTS, BUT DEFECT STILL OCCURS. *AK

WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY STOPPED AT A LIGHT AND GENTLEMAN WAS HONKING TO GET CONSUMER'S ATTENTION BECAUSE HE NOTICED A GAS LEAK. TOOK VEHICLE TO A LOCAL MECHANIC, AND HAD THE CROSS TANK FUEL FLOW CHECK VALVE AND THE FUEL REGULATOR REPLACED. *AKDEALER REPLACED UPPER RADIATOR HOSE. *ET
CONSUMERS TANK WAS LEAKING PER RECALL 93V125 BUT WAS NOT REPAIRED UNDER RECALL DUE TO VIN. NLM

FUEL TANK OVERFLOWS WITH FUEL WHICH MAY CAUSE A FIRE IF SOURCE OF IGNITION WAS PRESENT. FORD DID A RECALL ON THIS VEHICLE, BUT PROBLEM IS ON BOTH TANKS. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION. *AK
WITH BOTH TANKS FULL OF FUEL & THE REAR TANK IS SWITCHED ON,THE GASOLINE IS PUMPED BACK INTO THE FRONT TANK.SINCE THE REAR TANK HOLDS 16 GALLONS OF GASOLINE IT IS PUMPED TO THE FRONT TANK,OVERFLOWING OUT THE FILL NOZZLE ONTO THE GROUND.

BACK TANK STARTED LEAKING LAST SUMMER. REAR TANK STARTED IN JANUARY THIS YEAR. GASOLINE IN GARAGE CAUSED HAZARD. VEJHICLE WASHED REGULARLY. BOTH TANKS RUSTED AT SEAMS, POSSIBLY ON LEFT SIDE OF SADDLE. REPLACED TANKS AT MY COST BUT ADVISED WHERE IT WAS DON
FUEL PUMPS FOR BOTH TANKS ON THE DUEL SYSTEM FAILED CAUSING LEAKING OF GAS.
FUEL PUMP EMPTIES THE FUEL INTO THE OTHER TANK IMMEDIATELY. *AK
CONSUMER FILLED BOTH TANKS ON VEHICLE. UPON DRIVING VEHICLE BEGAN TO SPILL FUEL. RECALL 93V125000. *AK
CONSUMER FILLED BOTH TANKS ON TRUCK, BEGAN TO DRIVE DOWN THE STREET AND FUEL SPILLED ON THE ROAD, COULD HAVE CAUSED AN EXPLOSION. RECALL # 93V125.000. *AK
