The rear view camera is not working when placing the vehicle in reverse. The dash screen is blank even though it changes to appropriate display mode. The area where camera image is supposed to be to display is blank.
The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-250. The contact stated that the passenger’s side headlight bulb was blown, and the battery was not operating as needed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the headlight bulb was replaced; however, the bulb failed to illuminate. The vehicle was returned to the dealer two more times and the headlight bulb was replaced; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken to another certified mechanic and the headlight bulbs were replaced. Additionally, the contact stated that the vehicle intermittently failed to start. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The dealer was contacted and advised the contact to replace the battery and filters. The contact replaced the battery and filters; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed that there were metal shavings inside the fuel. The filters were replaced; however, the failure persisted. The dealer informed the contact that a defective fuel pump had caused the failure and the fuel pump needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and opened a case. The manufacturer referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 190,000.

The contact stated that the Brake warning light was illuminated. In addition, the contact disconnected the battery and lowered the windows to open the doors from outside as a temporary fix; however, the key was only able to unlock the front driver’s side door. The vehicle was taken to a local independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed with water intrusion in the BCM (Body Control Module). The local dealer was contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired due to the cost. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 75,000.

The contact reversed over to the right side of the roadway and exited the vehicle. The contact inspected under the hood but found no cause for the failure. The contact re-entered the vehicle, shifted into reverse, and reversed back into the driveway. The contact stated the failure had occurred on two separate occasions. Over the last two years my vehicle will display down hill decent, vehicle is not in park, and the wrench light will all display on my screen for no reason. I will pull over and shut the vehicle off and restart the vehicle and all of the messages will go away. Ford hass updatd my software but the messages keep returning. No codes are displayed and the truck runs fine. Ford knows of the issue but they will not fix the issue due to no recall.
We are experiencing issues with the AC / Radio Control Head in our 2019 Ford F250 Super Duty, Crew-Cab Truck. Some of the controls for the AC unit are inoperable specifically the re-circulation control. As a result, the AC system is delivering humid air, and the system is also delivering extremely unpleasant odors into the cab of the vehicle. Some more serious than others including, exhaust fumes, engine compartment oil and gas odors, and sewage odors when stopped at an intersection. This has been going on for over 6 months now and the local dealership including Ford customer Service continue to inform me the part is on back order. After researching this further, it appears Ford is experiencing this problem with their Explorers, and it has become a recall for this model. This has become a serious issue for us as we experience nausea, headaches and our clothing absorbs these odors causing ongoing discomfort. This is my work truck, and I have associates and customers in my vehicle. It has caused me unwanted stress and tension as a result of these issues. I believe this is occurring with other F-Series trucks as it is noticeably clear there are no parts available. I have called several dealerships throughout Arizona and across the country, no one has them available. One dealership had a part in Michigan however, they were holding it for a customer. They advised me their customer is experiencing the same thing we are with our Truck. I believe this should be registered as a recall for this problem considering what I have uncovered during my research. This is a serious problem that will only get worse if not resolved soon.

a/c blower fan blowing irregular cutting out and returning to blow. eventually stopped and replaced the blower, still not working. took to local mechanic pressed on fuses and relays and blower worked for a day. took to another shop to get second opinion and to repair issue. same thing checked fuses and said vehicle was working as planed. 1 day later same issue no air. returned to same shop to re investigate issue, claimed wiring harness and fuse box under hood to be replaced. (remove dash, remove freon, flush system, refill with freon, run wiring around front of engine compartment, reinstall all the above for 6k) all of this for a melted fuse (#43) and a possible burnt wire. if new harness is same gauged wiring, then what is stop from another burning issue? picked up truck for another opinion to repairing or replacing harness. at this time still no air and worried it may start a fire from burning again.

The TPMS, low-windshield fluid, and oil change warning lights were illuminated. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The vehicle will not start. There will be times that it will start nicely but we are unsure on when the next failed start will be. When turning the key in the ignition it will just light up the dashboard and radio but will not turn over or start. Sometimes we are able to get it to start after a few tries, other times is has taken us an entire day to get it to start. Not very reliable since we purchased this vehicle for pulling a camping trailer and we are afraid that it will leave us stranded. Some research has indicated that maybe the circuit board is bad, but i have seen no recalls or anything specific coming from Ford Company. Last occurrence was Thanksgiving Day when we were visiting family out of town!!
My wife and children we driving when smoke appeared from the engine area, the engine warning lights came on and the engine lost power, the cab filled with smoke from the vents as she got the truck to the side of the road and used one fire extinguisher that we had in the truck others came and helped extinguish with water as well as police and fire dept. A police report is filed as well as a insurance claim and I have asked for a fire investigation, there is a serious problem with this vehicle. Note: This vehicle was just at 5 star ford for recall updates and no issues were noted.

2019 FORD F-250. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARD TO DEF SYSTEM SAFETY RECALL.
The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-250. The contact stated that the rearview camera image failed to display while reversing. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed; however, no issues were found. The contact stated that the failure recurred while reversing. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the rearview camera needed to be replaced. The part was replaced; however, the failure reoccurred mostly while it was raining. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the tailgate wiring harness had experienced an electrical short. The tailgate wiring harness was replaced; however, the failure persisted. The contact stated that the rearview camera image was significantly distorted. The contact contacted a second dealer, Fred Beans Ford of Washington (359 NJ-31, Washington, NJ 07882) who informed him that there could be moisture inside the wiring harness, and he had to pay for a diagnostic test. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 22V644000 (Back Over Prevention) and 22V252000 (Back Over Prevention). The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 30,000.

The power open tailgate will randomly open without any initiation from the operator either from the key fob, dash mounted release button or tailgate release handle. This occurred several times including while the vehicle was parked, while backing out of the driveway and while going down a side street at low speeds. During these uninitiated tailgate openings, a clicking noise can be heard from the passenger's side footwell presumably coming from the relay. Damage did occur to the tailgate during one occasion when it opened by itself and struck a wall. This can potentially be a significant safety issue if the tailgate unintentionally opens while driving on the road either by striking a vehicle behind it or causing the payload to fall from the bed of the vehicle.
Tailgate opens when driving ,taken it to Ford dealer several times and tailgate still opens on its own when driving. Dealer cannot find issue.Opened again after coming home from dealership I called Ford motor company and they told me that if issue couldn't be duplicated Ford could not help me with this Safety Issue This has been going for at least 1 1/2 yrs

2019 Ford F250. Consumer writes regarding low fuel pressure gauge. THAT CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE BECAME FULLY ENGULFED IN FLAMES AND WAS DESTROYED. WHILE DRIVING THE CONSUMER SAW SMOKE EMITTING FROM THE BACK OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INSPECTED BY THE MANUFACTURER.
WHILE DRIVING MY 2019 FORD F-250 SUPER-DUTY ON THE HIGHWAY AT NIGHT I WAS TRAVELING APPROXIMATELY 70 MPH WHEN SUDDENLY THE TOUCH SCREEN RADIO DISPLAY BRIGHTNESS INTENSIFIED SO BRIGHT THAT IT APPEARED AS IF A HEADLIGHT WAS INSIDE THE CAR. WHEN THAT HAPPENED, I FOUND MYSELF TEMPORARILY NIGHT BLINDED AND I STRUGGLED TO HOLD POSITION IN MY LANE. I TRIED TO TURN THE RADIO OFF WITH NO SUCCESS. I MOMENTARILY SWITCHED THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH OFF AND ON WHICH NORMALLY DIMS THE RADIO DISPLAY BUT THAT DIDN'T HELP EITHER. I GRABBED A TOWEL FROM INSIDE THE CAB AND LAID IT OVER THE DASH AND RADIO SO I COULD BLOCK THE LIGHT AND DRIVE. THERE WAS NO PRIOR MALFUNCTION OR INDICATION OF IMPENDING ISSUE. SINCE THE OCCURRENCE, I HAVE LEARNED THAT FORD HAS A WIDELY KNOWN PROBLEM WITH THE SYNC 3 SYSTEM ALONG WITH NUMEROUS FAILED APIM MODULES. UNFORTUNATELY THEY HAVE NOT ISSUED A RECALL. THIS IS A SERIOUS HAZARD AND I WANTED TO LET OTHER CONSUMERS BE AWARE OF THE DANGER.

I ASKED WHY THIS COST SHOWED BE PAID BY ME, I WAS TOLD TO EXPLORE A BATTERY REBATE.

THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN OUT OF SERVICE OVER 70 DAYS SINCE NEW . THE ENTIRE WIRING HARNESS HAS BEEN REPLACED , FORD PUT IN THE IDENTICAL HARNESS WITH NO NEW IMPROVEMENTS . THE PROBLEM STILL EXISTS . FORD ALSO CLAIMS THEY DON'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH UNINTENDED TAILGATE OPENINGS .THIS A SERIOUS SAFETY HAZARD . THE VEHICLE WAS ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY WHEN THIS EVENT OCCURED .

PRIOR TO LEAVING DEALER TAILGATE WOULDN'T OPEN. RECALL FIX HAS NOT WORKED. I SEARCHED INTERNET AND FOUND NUMEROUS OTHERS WHO ARE HAVING SAME PROBLEM.

FORD IS NOT ACKNOWLEDGING THAT THIS IS A SERIOUS ONGOING PROBLEM WITH MANY CUSTOMERS. DOING RESEARCH I REALIZE HOW MANY CLOSE CALLS AND INJURIES PEOPLE HAVE SUFFERED DUE TO THIS PROBLEM ON THE SAME YEAR FORD TRUCKS, THERE IS ALSO A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT THAT'S BEEN PENDING FOR A WHILE APPARENTLY. ALSO, I INJURED MY HAND WHEN THE TAILGATE OPENED ON ITS OWN AND WAS PINCHED BETWEEN THE TAIL GATE AND TRAILER JACK. NOTHING BONES WERE FRACTURED BUT WAS REALLY SORE AND HAD BRUISING AND LACERATION. I FOUND ONLINE HOW THIS WAS PREVIOUSLY INVESTIGATED IN THE 2017 FORD SUPER DUTY BUT NO RECALL WAS ISSUED. I HAVE A 2019 SUPERDUTY AND WAS INJURED AND NEARLY CAUSED AN ACCIDENT ON DIFFERENT OCCASIONS.
