I wish to file a complaint regarding my 2014 Ford Focus, which is experiencing transmission failures related to the known defective transmission system. Ford acknowledged widespread issues with this transmission in customer satisfaction program 14m02, which extended coverage for the transmission control module (tcm). The TCM module was replaced, under recall, in April 2025 and during that same visit at B & B Ford, Barnwell SC I was told that I needed to replace the Acutators and this would stop the car from shuddering during acceleration. This cost me $658.00 out of pocket. I noticed almost immediately that the car was still shuddering during acceleration and called B & B Ford back and I was told to drive it for 500 miles and then let them know if it continued. Due to an illness I did not drive the car that much but then in October 2025 I started noticing the shuttering again. I contacted B & B Ford again and they agreed to look at the car. NOW THEY ARE TELLING ME I NEED TO REPLACE THE CLUTCH/FORK SYSTEM AT A PRICE OF $3300.00 THAT I WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR. I have filed a complaint, a lot of good that will do me, with Ford. They are fully aware of systemic failures in the transmission. Safety hazard: transmission hesitation, shuddering, and sudden loss of power create dangerous driving conditions, especially when merging or crossing intersections. Unfair limitation of remedy: the expiration of 14m02 leaves owners like me with out of pocket expenses that are outrageous. And again I will say - FORD KNOWS ABOUT THESE ISSUES AND WILL NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS A MANUFACTURERS DEFECT. I am requesting that an inquiry be made into this matter immediately and that Ford make a recall that covers the issues that I am having along with many other Ford Focus owners. Take responsibility for the defect in this car

My car smells like it’s leaking gas and when I took a flash light n went under the car it shows the tank and the hose connected to the tank has signs of it being wet but when the car is running it smells a lot worse and constantly is shaking, shuddering and causing my transmission to malfunction and I’ve read online that there was a re call # 14S20 But i can’t find it on this website

The clutch keeps giving out. It’s been fixed 2 times and I have the same issue. It takes a bit in order for the car to generate power to go forward & it shutters when it moves froward when pushing on the gas. It can sometimes move forward a bit when placed in reverse and same thing when I shift to move forward from a parking mode it will go backwards a bit forward a few seconds then moves forward. It also shutters a lot more after I been driving longer distances. It’s a scary feeling when it shutters really bad, makes it feel like the car is going to power off.

I originally purchased this car in June of 2022. Less than a week after I purchased it, the issues started. My check engine light came on and my vehicle revved high, but did not accelerate. When it did this, it made a mechanical humming/grinding noise. It did this for a few short trips, then the issue seemingly resolved itself...the check engine light never turned off. I got the following codes from my reader: P0420, P2782, and P07A3. This vehicle had multiple recalls regarding the TCM malfunctioning. I tried multiple times to have Ford do the repairs as stated in the recalls. They have refused every single time. I was told that the warranty did not apply to my vehicle, then that the parts were on a major backorder, and that I should leave my car with them for an undisclosed period of time. This is not feasible, as I have 2 jobs and a child. Within the last few months, my transmission has started doing the same thing as well as overheating. I am going through coolant much faster than I should. As the issue gets worse, Ford has been of no assistance. Despite my efforts to have the recall work done as legally required, I have been turned away and am now past the 10 year/150k mile replacement warranty. I had brought it in before it ever reached that point. I am terrified to take my child to school or make it to work. My vehicle stalled on the interstate last night and I almost lost my life. There isn't really a trigger, as it acts up like this at random. Some days I drive it with no issues at all. Others, it takes me nearly an hour to get home on an otherwise 18 minute commute.

Unknown, The car refused to turn on one day and then started up again once I popped the hood. The car refused to go into reverse, I tried some reboot steps and the car started driving like normal, drove the car all the way from NV to NV, husbands new military station, took the car to the ford dealership and they assessed it was the tcm and that the car would be fine to drive again but they recommend another part for up keep, as soon as they replaced the clutch aculators the car started to have more issues than before letting me know it's worse than they thought something about the engine going out and they mentioned its why ford discontinued the dual clutch engine bc it was failing.

The primary issue is a shuddering or jerking sensation when accelerating from a stop or during low-speed maneuvers, especially during the 1st to 2nd gear shift. delayed shifting, slipping gears, and even the vehicle shifting into neutral at inappropriate times.

I have had problems with the tcm when I first got the car and now after having to deal with fixing the coolant reservoir my car is shuddering trying to go over 2 rpm. This makes me never want to have a Ford again. This car almost got me killed when the tcm failed and now I feel unsafe driving with the shuddering going on.

I just bought a 2014 Ford focus and after getting it a transmission fault warning came on and there was a time I was on my lunch break and the car stalled out and would only let me drive in reverse. Luckily I was able to pull in to a parking lot at a gas station without causing an accident. I put transmission fluid in but the light stayed on. It noticed that there was a leak and my check engine light has also been on the entire time. I've tried having the place I bought it from fix it but they haven't been able to get to it

Transmission. It is available for inspection. It is not safe as the car can just stop anywhere. I got a diagnostics test and it’s the transmission. It has been inspected . The warning light popped on and said transmission fault.

Vehicle engine hesitates, runs rough and stalls at low speeds between 1st and 2nd gear. The passenger door latch isn't working properly and the door sticks and is unable to be properly opened from the inside of the vehicle. The vehicle was inspected (diagnosed) by Virginia Tire and Auto who found no codes and that the transmission is not the issue and advised during the call that there was an "open recalls" on the vehicle for these issues and to take it to Ford. I received a letter in the mail from Ford for this exact issue prior to me even setting up an appointment since I am the vehicles new owner. The vehicle is now with Ford and once driven (I was told that they did test drive the vehicle although its not stated on the receipt) are able to replicate the issue since you only need to push the gas pedal (every time you press the gas) to discover these issues but have refused to fix the issue because there are no codes/indicator lights on the dashboard even though the issue is easily replicated and IS the exact recall issue. I was told that the door latch was working (its not) despite the open recall on NHTSA for the latch and I was told that their SSSC (Special Service Support Center) was called for approval however my understanding from Ford Customer support is that when you call the SSSC its a simple yes or no question. If the issue is able to be replicated when driven the answer should be YES there is a problem, so that they can get approval to proceed. However my ticket/receipt from Ford does not state any of the above. They want me to pay for another diagnosis, $200 because there is no code/indicator light. If the issues are able to be replicated and are on Fords Customer Satisfaction Program 24N07 they should be fixing the issue. This is a major safety issue and the vehicle should not be driven in this condition as well as I should NOT have to pay Ford to fix a recall (multiple recalls) which they have refused to fix, stating no repair per recall.

I purchased a ford focus 2014 in 2018 and was told everything was OK with my car. Fast forward to 2024, my transmission is now slipping and making noise & shuddering when I drive. Ford refuses to fix my car because the extended warranty to fix the faulty transmission of the ford focus expired. I am now responsible to pay $4,000 if I want to replace it. I was not told that the car had any recalls when I purchased it. I don’t believe that I should be held responsible to fix it when the dual clutch transmission was a known problem with 2011-2017 ford focuses before I bought it. Please HELP to fix my issue. I feel as if I was scammed and no one can help me.

Previous owner & myself have continually experienced transmission/clutch shudder and hard shifting from a stop. Have had clutch and/or clutch assembly replaced twice since 2015. The dealer wants to replace the clutch AGAIN! This is not correcting the faulty DPS6 transmission which I believe is faulty. Now am afraid to drive car and have been told by dealer that Ford will not do anything unless shudder reaches certain limit. They have now informed me there is a problem with the Fuel EVAP system, according to the latest error code which had a recall back in 2019, so that is expired. And the clutch Customer Satisfaction Program 19N08 has also, expired, leaving me with a car unsafe to drive for both issues. I contacted Ford Motor Co today, and was told there is no Conflict Resolution Dpt., that they only deal directly with the dealer.

The general information I have is my transmission is not working, and it causes the car to stall and jerk unexpectedly, it will be driving fine then aggressively slow down almost to a stop, then launch forward, which could cause an accident to the person in front of me or behind. When these events happen it’s on and off, and the stalling will follow multiple times during a driving period. The engine light will come on, and many mechanics we have talked to have said to either replace the transition or sell the car, and the transmission is the same price I paid for the car. It’s ultimately unfortunate because it is a great car, low miles, in great condition, and I am young into college with big loans and can’t afford to fix this car.

issues with (i'm guessing transmission) vehicle lurching forward when applying brakes, as if brakes aren't being applied at all. I was in traffic and trying to stop, and multiple times while my car tried to switch gears it lurched me forward and almost into the car in front of me. I'm now having to double following space between me and vehicles because I can't predict when the lurching will overpower my brakes. Unknown what is actually causing it as dealers are booked a bit far out and I'm waiting for my appointment to bring it in.

We had a nail that needed to be removed from a tire. Tire Discounters said that the lug nuts have swollen and they cannot tighten the lug nuts without us replacing them. They cannot tighten the lug nuts due to the nuts swelling and not fitting into the lug wrenches anymore. How can Ford sell a product that is inherently unsafe?

My car has Direct Clutch Transmission that I am told has a design flaw so even after a $3,000 transmission repair the problem will re-occur. The car revs like crazy & doesn’t move forward. It is so dangerous when I am transporting my grandchildren to & from school crossing 4-lanes if traffic in town to get to the other side & the transmission does this in front of oncoming traffic! And no - no fatalities yet!

I am writing to express that ford issued an extended customer satisfaction program (19N08) to get transmission issued fixed within a specific window or time and mileage. Unfortunately that time has passed and the opportunity for smoother, safer driving has been missed by many people including me. Ford is unwilling to extend the warranty and fix the transmission issues which I feel is a concern. The car rattles and shakes when I go at a slower speed which I imagine could be dangerous. This fix is over $3,000 and not attainable for the average American to pay out of pocket. Ford needs to extend the warranty for the transmission clutch shift motor to keep the roads safe.

as I am not 100% sure where the problem comes from. And I know that this car and other Ford vehicles are infamous for these issues. My Ford focus’s transmission will spontaneously without warning completely shut off while driving which has caused me to almost get into crashes multiple times. I have brought my car to a ford dealership to get inspected in hopes of being included in a program which makes ford pay for a rental car while the part that causes the issues is delivered (there is large back order on the TCM) but when my car was done being diagnosed they claim my clutch needs to be replaced for 3200 which is ridiculous first of all but the main problem with this is that the broken TCM is what is causing the clutch to break creating a never ending cycle of replacements I have to pay for and even if i get a clutch replacement it won’t fix my overheating issue. These problems that are caused by ford have caused me to almost get into mulitple crashes and is restricting me from getting to work and I am getting no help from ford customer service and the individual dealerships try and scam me any chance I get so this is my last resort at getting any help

This car had transmission problems from the day I bought it. Then with less than 50,000 miles on it, it quit on the highway. I had it towed to the local Ford dealership where they charged me $150. to tell me the antifreeze had leaked into the engine and ruined the engine and it would cost me $9,000 to have it fixed.

There was a recall several years ago on my 2014 Ford Focus in regard to the dual-clutch system. The system has been replaced once already. The vehicle is now showing the same symptoms. I feel that Ford should be replacing the system again at no cost to me. I am afraid to drive the vehicle. I am a cancer survivor and also work full-time. I need access to a functional vehicle that is safe to drive. The contact stated Ford replaced the clutch once and the car is doing the same thing again.

Ford has told me that that is how it supposed to run, Please take a look at all the transmission problems of the ford focus that people continue to have today. This is truly a safety issue. The cars are still on the highway. Having zero recalls doesnt make the road safe if someone doesnt listen and solve the problem of ford focus transmission.

Car just stopped on a 5 lane highway while waiting at traffic light. Car just stopped and would not go forward. All lights came on. Police officer helped get car off of highway and pulled Into a business parking lot. Mechanic looked at vehicle, police officer also looked as well as a few others. Noone could get car started. Friend ended up having to take my 16 yr old son home. This is holiday weekend so dealership not open until next year. Car will need to be towed to dealership for repairs. Car is not recognizing any drive reverse etc...is not safe to drive. All lights came on on the dashboard. Check engine oil light etc...

There was an open recall on the vehicle that was extended to 2021 regarding the clutch. There is a shudder that occurs when the vehicle is accelerated from a stop. I bought the vehicle used from a dealership in April 2022, and this problem was obviously not fixed. The dealership did not indicate any past recalls or current issues with the vehicle, even though the problem has persisted. I now have an unsafe vehicle that needs a complete part replacement. I am being quoted at 3,500 dollars. I am baffled that the safety of the person driving the vehicle and others on the road is being blatantly disregarded. Is there anything that can be done about this with Ford. I know that the recall warranty expired in 2021, but this issue should have been fixed upon the vehicles purchase by the previous owner or fixed under their ownership as they had almost 8 years to fix this recall.

While in heavy traffic, the car started to "shake". At one stop point I removed feet from brakes pedal to move forward, but car did not reacted and stayed in same spot as if car was parked. I then put the par in "P" and then "D" and then I was able to continue driving. Car has been "shaking" and "pulling" after that. That happened two week ago, I call Ford, but they hang up, I leave voicemails and they have not responded.

Took car to independent mechanic and they discovered the Transmission control module needs to be replaced, but not able to get one. Told there is a 50,000 on a waiting list to get one. Went to trade car in at ford dealership towards a new ford and they will give $100 for our 2014 focus with the TCM problem.

Transmission has failed. It’s available for inspection. Car wouldn’t drive up an incline. The problem has been reproduced at 2 mechanics. In the first 2 years of owning the car I had taken it to 2 Ford companies and the dealership that it was bought from. Jerking, slowing down between 15-25 miles, car wouldn’t start the first time after turning the key, when opening the door I heard noise coming from under the hood, the radio would turn on when opening the door.

When Ford looked at my car during a recall for the locks I informed them of some problems I noted and they informed me that there were several reports with Ford Focus's concerning the Clutch and The Transmission control module. They said there were no known recalls regarding it. However my car once the RPM hits below a certain point like going to a stop light or going speeds below 35 the car starts to either drag when I accelerate or outright refuse to accelerate. This has happened on several frightening occasions on my way to and from work and almost caused an accident because of the drag. There were no lights or indications that there is a problem with the car.

When pulling into a parking space a few weeks ago all of the sudden my steering became extremely difficult, and an error code came up on the dash. I turned the car off, waited a few minutes, then turned it back on and everything was normal again. Then a week later while pulling out of my driveway it happened again. I pulled back in and shut the car off again, waited a few moments, turned it back on and it was normal again. The following Monday I took it to Crouse Ford in Taneytown, MD to have it evaluated. The service dept determined that the power steering electric rack and pinion assembly needs to be replaced. My car is a 2014 and has just under 67,000. This is not normal wear and tear, and this is definitely a safety hazard as it is extremely difficult to control the car, and there is no warning when it happens. I am very lucky the problem happened to occur while driving very slowly in a relatively safe place with no pedestrians or other vehicles in vicinity. The fact that it is a common problem in this make and model (well documented online) and has not yet been validated as a safety recall is unacceptable. This is a dangerous situation that could cause injury or death.

I took car the get it service at Ford dealer In Nov 15 2021 after many months and many car dealers refusing or not having time to look at car and a few stalls. This being the second Ford focus same year and same problems that left us with bills that ford Corp refused to honor. Have names off peole but will leave it out. The advisor whom I was given and appt was made for transmission testing Ford said that iif I had it tested they would cover cost due to no parts to fix it due to shortages and backorders. The advisisor refused to have it tested since she said she tells all customers not to have them inspected I asked her what would be beneficial to that she got upset and limited any questions. I reported issue bt service Manger was gone for the day at 230pm. The latches and valves for tank deformations had not been started yet. Next morning after a messege and assurance issues would be dealt and advisor had said she would not deal with me service Manger tried to bully me into staying quiet. He said he would make sure advisor would help she didnt and very short time to do work which the fuel readings were worse then before. Shop foreman gave me his word that he woukd get transmission to be tested to keep agreement which he didn't follow thru after several messages and calls. And after car began to stall. Zero help from service dept. Ford Corp makes excuses never one solution to get it seen. Said i had to pay to have it seen. Zero help with dealers that refused to do recall and ford Corp work. After over 200 days and after reaching to owner of dealership that promised to make it right but service Manger refused to follow thru and after he told me to move on and go elsewhere. I got another dealer to check it but they only wanted the most expensive non covered work so I would have to say so. Not the top issue car went in. after 4 days and after ford Corp again making promises with worker not involved at all. So far 3500 bill Ford wants time but said no

I contacted Ford to have this issue fixed and they said it would be over a year for them to get me a new part. I do not fell safe driving this car and they offered me no help with this.

Tried to reverse the vehicle and reverse gear was inoperable. Had to have help pushing car in reverse. A light came on the dashboard that read "Transmission Fault Service now." Car would not reverse, and it began to stutter. This was the only warning light that came on at that very moment. Had to have car taken to dealership. No update on the resolution just yet.

One day as I was driving and sitting at a red light, that then turned green I was pushing on the gas but the car would not move. I placed my foot back onto the break put the car in park and then put it back in drive. The car then did pull off but very fast and kind of out of control. I felt like my safety was absolutely at risk because it continued to do this my entire way home stopping myself in traffic and jerking as I am driving. We did take the car to a shop which is where they told us it can be an electric problem somewhere in the transmission. At the time we couldn’t not afford to get any work done on the car. No the car hasn’t been inspected by the manufacturer or police or insurance. No warning lamps were on prior to these problems. The check engine light came on about 2-3 days later.

The SYNC system is malfunctioning. The SYNC system controls radio/media and phone functions in Ford vehicles. It has an A.I. component to it. It will, without warning, stop working and will then begin to make loud booming, screeching and crackling feedback-like noises without warning while driving, which is a danger. The visual screen that displays the SYNC system stops working, and the buttons and A.I. controlling it stop working. The first time it happened was on the interstate and was very unsafe with all the loud random noises. It has been happening off and on for two weeks and I cannot drive my vehicle safely. I am reporting this because have found many others in online forums complaining about the same thing about their SYNC/Ford vehicles and believe it may be a widespread issue with SYNC. I contacted my local Ford dealer, but they did not seem to have a protocol for dealing with this problem, and estimated 500 to 1000 dollars to address it with a several day wait time for repairs.

The contact owns a 2014 Ford Focus. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the steering wheel made noises and locked up numerous times. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and diagnosed with rack and pinion failure. The rack and pinion needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 108,000.

ALMOST KILLED MYSELF IN THIS CAR!!! 2014 FORD FOCUS.power steering went out while driving.i was making a turn and the steering wheel got stiff and hard..car ran up the sidewalk almost hitting a wall.this car should be banned.FORD MOTOR should be ashamed..I contacted a dealerships because I learned of a recall on Ford focus electrical steering..but was told my car doesn't make the list for recall. cars same model and year qualify but mines doesn't. what sense does that make??!! If u have issues with your power steering in Ford focus why not change them all??!! Sent it to a shop and the quoted price to fix is insane. I have to pay for a faulty electrical power steering pump.and the curb I hit damaged the wheels..OMG this has to be illegal.. never..EVER BUYING A FORD AGAIN AND I WILL NOT LET MY FAMILY MEMBERS BUY EITHER. I received a recall notice from AutoNation Ford Miami but with no description or recall number. I took it to AutoNation Ford Miami for recall service. After my car was inspected I was told no recall service can be performed due to equipment no longer made/available. something about computer transmission system I believe but I'm not sure. I check online through VIN number and now it reflect my car has 0 recalls due to being fixed but nothing was done to fix recall.

The stereo/radio emits a very loud popping/cracking noise. The noise happens whether the car is turned or off. This puts the driver and passengers in danger because having a loud noise randomly happen while driving can cause the driver to jerk the wheel as a reflex/reaction. This can cause an accident on the road, putting the driver and passengers at risk, along with other vehicles and it’s passengers at risk. The manufacturer has not acknowledged the issue, and no guidance has been issued for owners. There are no warning lights or messages in place. This happens randomly and is very scary.

IT ALSO DID SOME WEIRD THINGS THAT I CAN'T EXPLAIN, BUT KNOW THAT IT SHOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED. AFTER THIS FIRST INCIDENT, I IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED FORD AND COMPLAINED ABOUT THE PROBLEM. I WAS ADVISED THAT THE CAR HAD TWO EXTENDED WARRANTIES AND I SHOULD TAKE IT INTO A AUTHORIZED DEALER AND HAVE THE VEHICLE DIAGNOSED AND THAT IF IT WAS A TRANSMISSION MODULE ISSUE OR SOMETHING TO THAT EFFECT, IT WOULD BE COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY AND THE REPAIRS WOULD BE DONE AT NO COST. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A FORD DEALERSHIP IN TENNESSEE AND WAS TOLD THAT MY VEHICLE HAD AN BRANDED TITLE AND THE DEALERSHIP REFUSED TO PUT THE CAR ON THE MACHINE UNLESS FORD CORPORATE CALLED THEM DIRECTLY WITH AN AUTHORIZATION CODE. I CALLED FORD CORPORATE BACK AND EXPLAINED TO THEM WHAT THE ISSUE WAS AND THE AGENT PUT ME ON HOLD AND CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AND GAVE HIM ALL THE INFORMATION HE NEEDED TO START THE WORK ON MY VEHICLE. ABOUT THREE HOURS LATER, I WAS CONTACTED BY THE DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD TO PICK UP MY VEHICLE BECAUSE SOMEONE FROM FORD HAD CONTACTED HIM AND SAID THAT MY WARRANTY WAS NO GOOD. I EMAILED THE CEO AT FORD CORPORATION, AND AFTER TWO WEEKS, STILL HAVEN'T HEARD BACK FROM HIM. I CALLED THE CORPORATE OFFICE AGAIN AND WAS TOLD THE SAME THING AS BEFORE, WHICH IS THAT MY CAR HAS TWO EXTENDED WARRANTIES AND THE WORK SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE BECAUSE ONE WARRANTY COVERS THE TRANSMISSION WHETHER IT HAS A BRANDED TITLE OR NOT. NOTHING WAS DONE ON THE TRANSMISSION. I JUST LEARNED FROM THE FORD MOTOR COMPANY ABOUT THE EXTENDED WARRANTY ON THE TRANSMISSION MODULE AND CLUTCH ASSEMBLY. THE DEALERSHIP DID NOT TELL ME ABOUT THIS. I WAS DRIVING MY CAR HOME ON THE FREEWAY NOVEMBER 19, 2019. GOING ABOUT 65 MPH AND IT STARTED SHIFTING WEIRD. I MADE IT HOME HOOKED IT UP TO THE COMPUTER GOT THE CODES AND IT WAS ALL RELATED TO THE TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE. THE TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE WAS RECALLED ON MY CAR LAST YEAR AND THE DEALER FIXED IT. I TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALER THEY HAD IT FOR ABOUT A WEEK, CALLED AND TOLD ME THEY REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE AGAIN HOWEVER THERE WAS MORE DAMAGE. ITS TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS IT NEEDS A NEW CLUTCH ASSEMBLY, SLAVE CYLINDER AND 2 CLUTCH RELEASE LEVERS. THEY TOLD ME THIS WAS MY FAULT AND IT WOULD COST ME ABOUT $2000. I TAKE VERY GOOD CARE OF MY CAR I DIDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS PRIOR TO THIS. I CAN'T AFFORD THE $2000 RIGHT NOW AND I'M STILL MAKING PAYMENTS ON MY CAR EVERY MONTH. AFTER DOING SOME INVESTIGATING TURNS OUT THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE ISSUE MY CAR WAS HAVING. MY CAR WAS IN SHOP IN MAY OF THIS YEAR FOR A CLUTCH REPLACEMENT. AT THE TIME THE ADVISOR AT THE DEALERSHIP LET ME KNOW THERE WAS A RECALL AND SAID IT WAS COMPLETED WITH NO FINDINGS AT THE TIME. WELL HERE WE ARE IN NOVEMBER AND MY CAR WAS HAVING ISSUES WITH THE RECALL PART. THE DEALERSHIP REACHED OUT TO FORD AND REQUESTED A REIMBURSEMENT AND THEY DECLINED STATING ONCE A RECALL IS CLOSED OUT THERE IS NO WAY TO REOPEN AND ISSUE A REFUND. HORNS WERE REPLACED IN 2017 UNDER WARRANTY. DEALER'S SERVICE WRITER TOLD ME THEY WERE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH HORNS. HORNS WORKED INTERMITTENTLY STARTING FIVE MONTHS AGO. HAD CAR IN FOR STATE INSPECTION TWO WEEKS AGO AND THAT DAY THEY WORKED SO CAR PASSED BUT SERVICE WRITER ADVISED THAT HORNS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CAR IS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY AND THE PART IS MORE THAN ONE YEAR OLD WHICH IS THE LENGTH OF TIME FORD WARRANTIES THE PART. I HAVE CHECKED ON THE FORD FOCUS FORUM (FOCUS FANATICS.COM) AND MANY OTHERS HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. A HORN IS NOT A NORMAL "WEAR AND TEAR" PART AND SHOULD NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM. FORD KNOWS ABOUT THIS PROBLEM, BEING THAT IT IS THE TCM WHICH IS FAULTY HOWEVER THEY REFUSE TO FIX THE WHOLE PROBLEM. GEARS ARE NOT SHIFTING. TAKE BAKE TO DEALER AND FIXED TRANSMISSION MODULE. NOW THE POWER STEERING DOES NOT WORK. I TOOK IT TO FORD AND THEY CHARGED ME 160$ TO LOOK AT IT. IT WILL COST 1800$ TO FIX STEERING. THIS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. THE DEALER ALSO SAID THAT THE SUSPENSION NEEDS TO BE REPLACED SOON. I BOUGHT THE CAR WITH 23 MILES ON IT IN 2014. I ASKED ABOUT THE PRECIOUS FOCUS ISSUES OF ENGINE ISSUES, TRANSMISSION ISSUES, AND THE AIR BAG DEFECT. I WAS TOLD "ALL OF THOSE ISSUES HAVE BEEN FIXED IN THE 2014 MODEL." SHORTLY AFTER MY PURCHASE THE CLUTCH AND TM MODULE WENT OUT. WHEN I QUESTIONED WHY IT NEEDED THIS ALREADY I WAS TOLD "IT IS JUST A SLIGHT ISSUE, BUT THAT 1 REPLACEMENT IS ALL IT WILL NEED." SINCE THIS TIME THE CAR HAS REQUIRED CLUTCH REPLACEMENT 7 TIME AND MODULE REPLACEMENT 3 TIMES. I NOW NEED TO TAKE IT IN FOR THE 8TH CLUTCH, BUT HAVE BEEN TOLD I WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYMENT OF THIS MANUFACTURER DEFECT. I WAS LIED TO BY THE DEALERSHIP, FORD CORPORATE INFORMED THAT I SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY ISSUES WITH MY PURCHASE, AND WHEN I ASK ABOUT PERMANENT FIXES/BUYBACK I AM TOLD THAT THERE'S NOTHING ABNORMAL WITH MY CAR.

SINCE OWNING THIS VEHICLE BRAND NEW, THERE HAVE BEEN CONSISTENT TRANSMISSION ISSUES. WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION, REGARDLESS OF SPEED, IT FEELS LIKE IT SLIPS INTO NEUTRAL GEAR EVEN THOUGH IT IS AN AUTOMATIC. WE HAVE TO PULL OVER AS QUICK AS WE CAN TO AVOID GETTING HIT BY OTHER MOVING VEHICLES. OUR VEHICLE HAS BEEN BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP NUMEROUS TIMES FOR THIS ISSUE TO WHERE THEY HAVE REPLACED PARTS RELATED TO SOME CLUTCH SYSTEM. THE DEALERSHIP DID NOT PROVIDE REPAIR ORDER DOCUMENTS FOR THESE REPAIRS. THE MOST CURRENT ISSUE WAS THIS PAST SATURDAY WHEN THE VEHICLE AGAIN LOST POWER WHILE DRIVING, HAD TO PULL OVER AND SIT FOR A WHILE. START THE VEHICLE BACK UP AND IT WORKS NORMAL AGAIN. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. WE ARE THE ORIGINAL OWNERS AND STILL OWE $ ON IT. WOULD LIKE FORD TO JUST BUY BACK THE CAR.

I PURCHASED THE 2014 FORD FOCUS NEW IN AUGUST 2013. ISSUES BEGAN ALMOST IMMEDIATELY UPON TAKING OWNERSHIP OF VEHICLE. I RECALL AT 6,600 MILES HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE TRANSMISSION AND SHUDDERING. FORD TECHNICIAN EXPLAINED THAT THIS WAS NORMAL IT WOULD EVENTUALLY ADJUST. CAR SHUDDERS AROUND 17 MPH AND ACCERLERATING ONTO ON RAMPS, ETC. THIS CAR IS UNRELIABLE AND UNSAFE. I REFRAIN FROM TAKING IT ON ROAD TRIPS EVEN WITHIN WASHINGTON STATE, AVOIDING ISSUES THAT COULD ARISE AT ANYTIME. AT NO TIME DURING THE PURCHASE OF THIS VEHICLE DID THE SALESPERSON EXPLAIN WHAT THE DP6 POWERSHIFT TRANSMISSION FEATURE WAS . I AM BEYOND FRUSTRATED WITH FORD'S UNWILLINGNESS TO RECOGNIZE THAT THIS IS A SERIOUS CONCERN AND EXPENSIVE FIX. THIS CAR IS AVERAGING A NEW CLUTCH ASSEMPLY AT 5,000-7,000 MILES. MY EXTENDED WARRANTY IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE AT WHICH POINT THESE CLUTCH ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENTS COST A MINIMUM OF $1800. I CAN'T AFFORD TO CONTINUE TO HAVE TO PAY THESE REPAIR COSTS. I WAS ABLE TO DRIVE IT HOME , THE CAR WOULDNT SHIFT INTO A HIGHER GEAR. I ATTACHED BOTH SERVICES DONE . AFTER THE SECOND SERVICE WAS DONE TO MY VEHICAL IT STILL SHUDDERED WHEN ACCELERATING. 6/29/19 THIS OCCURED TWICE THE SAME DAY, I WAS WAITING AT AN INTERSECTION MAKING A LEFT HAND TURN INTO A GAS STATION, WHEN IT WAS SAFE TO TURN, I LET MY FOOT OF THE BRAKE AND MY CAR INCHED FORWARD WHILE I HIT GAS AND MY CAR DID NOT MOVE, I WAS NEARLY HIT BOTH TIMES , THE LAST SECOND WITH MY FOOT ON THE GAS ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE FLOOR, THE CAR JERKS INTO GEAR. IVE CALLED THE DEALERSHIP ABOUT FIXING THIS ISSUE , IVE LEFT MESSAGES WITH NO CALL BACK, I FINALLY GOT A SERVICE CALL SET BUT NOT UNTIL JULY 30TH. THIS HAS NOW OCCURED ALMOST EVERYDAY SINCE 6/29/19. THE CAR DOES NOT ALWAYS DO THIS , IT SEEMS TO ONLY DO IT IF IM BELOW A HALF A TANK , OR THE FIRST 60 MILES ON A FULL TANK. I FEAR FOR MY SAFETY DRIVING THIS CAR THAT WHEN I HIT THE GAS THE ENGINE WILL JUST REV U[ AND NOT MOVE AND GET HIT. I WAS ABLE TO GET GAS AND JUMP MY CAR AND GET IT HOME AND HAS BEEN FINE SINCE, BUT I WENT INTO FORD THE NEXT DAY AND TOLD THEM THAT THE SAME ISSUE HAPPENED AND THEY TOLD ME THAT BACK IN DECEMBER WHEN THEY 'FIXED' MY VEHICLE THEY ACTUALLY JUST LOOKED AT IT AND SAID IT WAS FINE, BUT TOLD ME THEY REPLACED/FIXED THE PART. SO THE PART WAS NEVER FIXED OR RESOLVED. NOT TO MENTION I HAVE ONLY HAVE THIS CAR SINCE SEPTEMBER 2017 AND HAVE HAD THE CLUTCH REPLACED 3 TIMES AND NOW AM FEELING THE SIGNS OF IT FAILING AGAIN FOR THE 4TH TIME. I LEARNED ON THE DOOR AND OPENED UP WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY. I COULD HAVE DIED. THE LAST TIME I MADE A COMPLAINT, IT WAS THE BACKSEAT RIGHT PASSENGER DOOR. FORD INDICATED THAT THEY ALREADY PREFORMED THE RECALL FOR THIS SPECIFIC ISSUE AND WANTED ME TO PAY A DEDUCTIBLE SO I DID. NOW A FEW WEEKS LATER THE SAME ISSUE HAPPENED WITH MY DRIVER SIDE DOOR. IT WON'T CLOSE AND DOES NOT STAY SHUT ESPECIAL WHEN DRIVING. I HAVE TO USE BUNGEE CORDS TO KEEP IT CLOSED. I'M TAKING IT BACK TO THE FORD DEALERSHIP AND PROBABLY GOING TO HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER DEDUCTIBLE. I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO PAY THOUGH BECAUSE THE RECALL INDICATES THEY ALREADY FIXED BACK IN 2017. WELL APPARENTLY THEY DIDN'T FIX THIS ISSUE CORRECTLY. EVEN THE CUSTOMER RELATIONS MANAGER DISCLOSED TO ME THAT THE RECALL ONLY FIXED A SMALL PART OF THE DOOR LATCH AND THE DEALERSHIP CAN FIX WHOLE ASSEMBLEY. THE RECALL ONLINE INDICATES HOWEVER, THAT THE DEALERSHIP WILL PAY FOR THIS FREE OF CHARGE. I ALSO WANT TO POINT OUT THAT I DRIVE FOR UBER WITH MY VEHICLE AND IF THIS ISSUE PERSISTS, SOMEBODY COULD GET SEVERELY INJURED AND TURN INTO A LAW SUIT. FORD MOTOR COMPANY NEED TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE PROPERLY BEFORE THIS BECOMES A LAWSUIT OR SOMEONE ENDS UP IN THE HOSPITAL.

DOOR LOCK LATCH OPENING UP WHILE DRIVING. AS I WAS DRIVING ONE EVENING FROM THE GAS STATION, THE RIGHT SIDE BACK SEAT DOOR OPENED UP. THE DOOR SWUNG OPEN AS I MADE A TURN ABOUT LEAVE THE GAS STATION I WAS AT. I QUICKLY PULLED OVER AND LOOKED TO SEE IF SOMETHING WAS IN THE WAY AND PROCEEDED TO CLOSE IT. HOWEVER, THE DOOR WOULD BOUNCE BACK AND NOT SHUT EVEN AFTER SEVERAL TIMES. I DID SOME RESEARCH AND FOUND THAT THERE WAS A RECALL OF THIS YEAR MAKE AND MODEL BACK IN 2016 REGARDING THE SAME PROBLEM. SINCE IT WAS NIGHT, I HAD TO USE BUNGEE CORDS AND TAPE TO KEEP THE DOOR SHUT UNTIL THE NEXT DAY TO TAKE IT INTO THE DEALERSHIP. I ALSO RAN THE RISK OF SOMEONE BEING ABLE TO EASILY ACCESS MY CAR OVER NIGHT. THE RECALL SAYS THAT DEALERSHIP IS SUPPOSED TO TAKE CARE OF THIS SAFETY ISSUE FREE OF CHARGE BY BRINGING MY VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP. HOWEVER, THE DEALERSHIP INDICATED THAT THEY WOULD NOT FIX THIS SEVERE SAFETY ISSUE FREE OF CHARGE. THEY TOLD ME THAT I HAD TO PAY THE DEDUCTIBLE FOR THEM TO FIX IT AND THAT THERE WAS NOTHING THEY CAN DO ABOUT THAT. I FOR ONE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS ISSUE CONSIDERING IT WAS PART OF A SAFETY RECALL. I AM ALSO UPSET THAT THEY KNEW ABOUT THIS ISSUE SINCE 2016 AND THEY DEALERSHIP IS NOT HONORING REPAIRING THIS DESPITE THAT. I AM WANTING THE DEALERSHIP TO TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY AND FIX THIS FREE OF CHARGE OR REIMBURSE LATER FOR WHAT THEY ARE CHARGING ME NOW.

FORD FOCUS SYNC SYSTEM.THERE IS AN EXTREMELY LOUD POPPING NOISE THAT SPONTANEOUSLY SOUND THROUGH THE SPEAKER EVEN IF THE RADIO IS OFF. IT IS DEAFENING AND EXTREMELY STARTLING TO THE DRIVER AS WELL AS ANY PASSENGERS. MY 2 YEAR OLD CRIES AND COVERS HIS EARS, SO MUCH THAT HE HAS TO WEAR HEARING PROTECTION ON OUR 45 MINUTE COMMUTE BACK HOME. IT'LL EVEN MAKE THE SOUND AFTER I HAVE SHUT THE CAR OFF. ONCE OFF, OPENING THE DOOR IS THE ONLY WAY THAT IT STOPS. THIS IS THE FORD SYNC MEDIA SYSTEM. I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY FORD THAT I NEED TOP REPLACE THE SYNC SYSTEM BECAUSE IT IS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY. THEY PROLONGED HELPING, ETC...EVEN ASKED FOR MY CAR BACK. THEN THROWN IN MY FACE THAT IT WAS AT AUCTION. NOBODY WAS HELPING. TOOK TO LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP AND THEY DIAGNOSED IT AS THE TCM (TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE) MODULE WHICH THEY REPLACED AND RETURNED MY CAR. SAME NIGHT CAR WOULD NOT START AGAIN. TOOK OVER AN HOUR TO GET THE CAR CHARGED JUST TO DRIVE TO DEALERSHIP 3 MINUTES AWAY AND THE CAR WOULD NOT GO OVER 1500 RPM AND WOULDN'T ALLOW ME TO GO OVER 15 MPH. GOT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND HAD WORKER WITNESS A TEST DRIVE IN THE PASSENGER SEAT, THEN PARKED WITHE WORKER STILL INSIDE AND SHE WAS ABLE TO WITNESS THE CAR NOT SHUTTING OFF AFTER KEY REMOVAL. NOTIFIED TODAY FROM SERVICE DEPARTMENT MANAGER IT IS NOW THE BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE) AND WILL BE $2900 PLUS TAX TO REPLACE THE BCM AS WELL AS THE WIRE HARNESS THAT HAS MELTED NOW DUE TO THIS ISSUE. FORD HAS TOLD ME THAT THEY HAVE NO PROGRAMS OR RECALLS TO HELP COVER THESE COSTS. AFTER RESEARCH I HAVE DISCOVERED THAT THIS IS AND ISSUE WITH OTHERS THAT HAVE THE SAME VEHICLE AND FORD ISSUED A RECALL FOR THE 2015 FORD FOCUS FOR THIS SAME BCM ISSUE BUT OF COURSE MY VIN (2014 FORD FOCUS SE HATCHBACK) IS NOT INCLUDED. I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT ISSUES RELATED TO THE TRANSMISSION AND COMPUTER OF MY CAR IN THE 49 MONTHS THAT I HAVE OWNED IT.

WHEN I RECIEVED MY CAR BACK, MY TRANSMISSION WAS SHUTTERING SO BAD AND WOULDNT ACCELERATE AND WAS STUCK IN A GEAR AND WOULD NOT BREAK OR SPEED UP FOR A COUPLE OF SECONDS. WHEN I TRIED TO TAKE THE CAR BACK IN, THEY TOLD ME THAT "THEY FIXED THE RECALLED ISSUE SO I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THE DIAGNOSTIC." IN NOVEMBER, I FOUND OUT THAT FROM MAY TO NOV. I HAD BEEN DRIVING ON A BROKEN TRANSMISSION CLUTCH. IN NOVEMBER, THEY FINALLY PUT IN A NEW TRANSMISSION CLUTCH, HOWEVER DONT HAVE RECORD OF THEM CHECKING FOR THE RECALL ON THE FUEL SYSTEM. WHEN I TOOK MY CAR IN FOR WORK, THEY TOLD ME THAT IT WAS GOING TO TAKE A COUPLE OF HOURS, THEN IT TURNED INTO ONE TO TWO DAYS AND PUT ME IN A RENTAL, HOWEVER DIDNT COMMUNICATE WITH ME ABOUT THE STATUS OF MY CAR. I CALLED MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY, HOWEVER DIDNT RECIEVE ANY DETAILS FROM MY MECHANIC. ON SATURDAY, I CALLED AGAIN AND TALKED TO THE FRONT DESK AGENT. I TOLD HIM THAT MY CAR WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DONE THE DAY PRIOR AND I HADNT RECIEVED ANY UPDATE ON MY CAR. LATER THAT DAY, I FINALLY RECIEVED A VOICEMAIL STATING THAT THEY HAD FINISHED THE TRANSMISSION CLUTCH, HOWEVER FOUND A OIL LEAK AND THEY "HAD BEEN DOING WHAT BEST FOR ME" AND HAD BEEN FIXING IT WITHOUT COMMUNICATING TO ME ABOUT IT. MY CAR STAYED IN THE SHOP FOR AN ADDITONAL 4 DAYS TO FIX THE OIL LEAK. I ENDED UP BEING CHARGED FOR THE RENTAL CAR AFTER I WAS TOLD THAT EVERYTHING WAS UNDER WARRENTY AND RECALL SO I DIDNT HAVE TO PAY FOR ANYTHING. I DIDNT EVEN KNOW THAT THEY WERE DOING THIS WORK ON MY CAR UNTIL DAYS PRIOR. AFTER MORE THAN A MONTH, I AM STILL DEALING WITH THIS PROBLEM.

RADIO ON, DASHBOARD LIGHTS PRESENT AND THEN CUT OFF, ALERT FOR MY LOW TIRE, TRIP TIMER BEGAN RUNNING. THEN AN ERROR CODE REGARDING SOMETHING IN THE LINES OF FUEL. WASN'T QUICK ENOUGH TO TAKE A PICTURE OF THE ERROR MESSAGE. WHEN I REMOVED MY KEY AND CALLED MY SISTER TO INFORM HER THAT I MAY NEED A RIDE FOR MYSELF AND MY 6 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER, THE DASHBOARD NEEDLES JUMPED VIGOROUSLY. WHILE SITTING. IN THE VEHICLE AGAIN, THE COMPUTER SYSTEM OPENED UP AND MY TRIP TIMER BEGAN RUNNING AND THE RADIO. AGAIN WITHOUT THE KEYS IN THE IGNITION, THEY WERE IN MY LAP. THE ENTIRE NIGHT WHILE MY VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY PERIODICALLY MY CAR WOULD CUT IN AND OFF, AND ENGAGE WITHOUT THE KEYS IN THE IGNITION NOR PRESENT NEAR HE CAR. CONSEQUENTLY, THE CONSTANT RUNNING OF THE VEHICLE BY IT SELF RAN THE BATTERY DEAD AS WELL. ATTEMPTED TO CONTACT THE FORD DEALERSHIP, WHERE I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE, AND CHECK SERVICE AND THE TECHNICIAN WAS VERY RUDE AND CONTINUOUSLY INTERRUPTED ME. I NOW HAVE TAKEN MY CAR INTO THE PENSKE FORD DEALERSHIP AND THEY ARE SAYING THAT THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE TRANSMISSION, BUT WHEN DOING THE DIAGNOSTIC ON IN THEY FOUND THE TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODUAL WAS COVERED UNDER THE WARRENTY BUT THE CLUTCH ALSO NEEDED TO BE REPLACED BUT THAT WASNT UNDER THE WARRENTY. BUT THERE IS A RECALL ON MY TRANSMISSION! AND I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY 2K+ TO GET MY CLUTCH FIXED, WHEN MY CLUTCH IS A PART OF MY TRANSMISSION. I HAVE SEEN THAT THERE IS MANY LAWSUITS ABOUT THIS, AND I HOPE I DONT HAVE TO DO THAT.

DASH WILL GO BLACK, WHEN IDLING IT SHUTTERS, NO SCREEN UNTIL IT'S ACTUALLY STARTED. REAR VIEW CAMERA HAD QUIT THEN STARTED TO WORK AGAIN.

ENTIRE ELECTRICAL SYNC SYSTEM HAS SHUT DOWN AND NO LONGER FUNCTIONS. WHILE THE SYNC WAS GOING OUT, THE SPEAKERS WOULD CRACKLE AND MAKE LOUD, STARTLING POP SOUNDS. THIS CAUSED JERKY DRIVING AS THEY WOULD POP WITHOUT ANY NOTICE, EVEN IF THE SYNC SYSTEM WAS TURNED OFF. RECENTLY, THE WIND SHIELD WIPERS TURNED ON AND WERE SPORADICALLY INCREASING/DECREASING IN SPEED AND WOULD NOT TURN OFF. THE CAR WAS ON (NOT THE ENGINE) AND PARKED WHEN THE WIPERS TURNED ON. ATTEMPTED TO TURN THE CAR OFF, RESET BY OPENING THE DOORS, AND TURNING THE CAR BACK ON. THEY PAUSED AND THEN STARTED UP AGAIN ONCE THE CAR WAS DRIVING ON CITY STREETS. THE SPEAKERS POPPING AND THE RADIO MALFUNCTION OCCURS WHILE DRIVING, WHILE PARKED, WHEN THE CAR IS ON, AND WHEN IT IS OFF. THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN GETTING WORSE AND WORSE OVER THE PAST YEAR.

USUALLY THE CAR BECOMES UNSTABLE/JERKY WHEN DRIVING WHICH SIGNALLED A CLUTCH REPLACEMENT. HOWEVER OVER THE PAST TWO MONTHS AFTER TWO MORE CLUTCH REPLACEMENTS THE TRANSMISSION/ENGINE CEASED WHILE DRIVING IN TOWSON MD INNER CITY STREETS. THE FIRST BEING EXACTLY OVER TWO WEEKS AGO AND WHICH A NEW CLUTCH WAS INSTALLED. I PICKED UP THE VEHICLE AND TWO DAYS LATER CALLED THE DELEARSHIP STATING IT IS STILL NOT DRIVING RIGHT. I COULD FEEL SOMETHING WAS WRONG. I NOTICED SUDDEN JERKS AND WHAT SEEMED LIKE THE TRANSMISSION WAS WEARING OFF AGAIN. I WAS INFORMED BY THE SERVICE PERSON MIKE MAZOR THAT THIS IS NORMAL AND THE ADAPTIVE SYSTEMS WILL HAVE TO GET USED TO MY DRIVING PATTERN AND TO GIVE IT 1000 MILES. I EXPRESSED MY CONCERN THAT SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE BECAUSE THE VEHICLE FELT UNSAFE TO DRIVE. TWO DAYS LATER WHILE TRAVELING ON INTERSTATE ROUTE 40, THE CAR SUDDENLY DECELERATED, MADE A LOUD ROARING SOUND AND WHEN I PUSHED ON THE PEDAL IT SEEMED AS IF IT WAS ON NEUTRAL AND DID NOT WANT TO MOVE. ALL I HEARD WAS THE ENGINE RERVE. EXTREMELY PANICKED AND SCARED I QUICKLY MOVED OVER TO THE YELLOW LINE WITHOUT CAUSING AN ACCIDENT OR INJURING MYSELF. I HAD THE CAR TOWED TO THE DELEARSHIP CLOSEBY AS I FELT VERY UNSAFE DRIVING ANY FURTHER. I TOOK IT TO A FORD DEALER. THEY SAID IT WOULD COST $200-300 AND NEED THE CAR FOR 2 DAYS. ON A SECOND OCCASION (2/28/18), I WAS DRIVING AND IN MOTION ON A RESIDENTIAL STREET WHEN THE ENGINE SHUT OFF. PRIOR TO THIS, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND I HAD SCHEDULED SERVICE ON THE CAR FOR 3/7/18 (THE EARLIEST THEY HAD AVAILABLE). THE CAR HAS HAD MULTIPLE TRANSMISSION REPLACEMENTS IN THE FEW SHORT YEARS THAT I HAVE OWNED IT.

WHEN I CONTACTED FORD THEY SAID THEY CAN'T HELP FINANCIALLY AND THEREFORE I HAVE TO PAY THE $3000 TO FIX SOMETHING THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN UNDER MY ADMINISTRATION. I HAVE THE EMAIL THEY SENT ME SAYING THEY WON'T BE ABLE TO HELP OUT. I HAD IT TOWED TO A NEARBY FIRESTONE, WHICH RAN A DIAGNOSTIC WHICH REVEALED THAT A PORTION OF THE ENGINE WAS DEFECTIVE AND HAS RESULTED IN SPLICING OF WIRES, WHICH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. I WAS INFORMED THAT THERE IS A TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN, #14-0215 BUT THAT FOR IS REFUSING TO PAY FOR THE REPAIRS EVEN THOUGH THE VEHICLE STILL IS UNDER POWERTRAIN WARRANTY. MY VEHICLE HAD BEEN BROUGHT IN FOR TRANSMISSION ISSUES BEFORE FOR SLIPPING, AND DELAY WHEN THE GAS IS DEPRESSED. SINCE THE REPAIR I'VE NOTICED THE CAR'S TRANSMISSION WHILE PUT IN REVERSE WILL FEEL LIKE IT SLIPS INTO NEUTRAL. IT HAPPENED WHILE I WAS BACKING INTO MY PARKING SPOT IN MY APARTMENT COMPLEX. THE TRANSMISSION IS ALSO VERY JERKY WHEN ACCELERATING ON AN INCLINE AND WILL START TO ROLL BACKWARDS. THIS WAS ALSO A PROBLEM PRIOR TO THE INITIAL REPAIR SO I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS SIGNIFYING THE RETURN OF THE PROBLEM. IN ADDITION TO THE TRANSMISSION PROBLEM THE CONTROLS ON THE STEERING WHEEL ARE ALSO NON-RESPONSIVE OR WILL CONTROL SOMETHING OTHER THAN WHAT IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE FOR (EX: VOLUME + AND - CHANGE THE RADIO STATION OR END A CALL). IN ADDITION TO THIS, THE SYNC SYSTEM WILL EITHER NOT CONNECT TO THE PHONE VIA BLUETOOTH OCCASIONALLY OR IT WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RECOGNIZE THE DEVICE. KEEP IN MIND THAT THE PHONE CONNECTING IS A GALAXY S7, SO I KNOW IT IS COMPATIBLE. THIS IS EXACTLY THE ISSUE I'VE BEEN HAVING. 8/5/2016 I TOOK MY CAR IN FOR THE 3RD TIME CONCERNING THE TRANSMISSION. I WAS TOLD IT WAS NO LONGER A COVERED ISSUE. WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR I ASKED FOR A DIFFERENT ONE BECAUSE THE ONE I TEST DROVE LITERALLY FELT LIKE THE TRANSMISSION WAS SLIPPING SO BAD I WASN'T GOING TO GET IT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP. I DROVE ANOTHER ONE AND IT WAS BETTER, HOWEVER STILL SHUTTERING. I WAS ASSURED BY THE SALES PERSON AT BEECHMONTFORD THIS WAS NORMAL,IT WAS A NEW TYPE OF TRANSMISSION WITH A DUAL CLUTCH.EVERYTIME I TOOK THE CAR IN FOR AN OIL CHANGE I COMPLAINED ABOUT THE TRANSMISSION GETTING WORSE. I WAS TOLD BY 2DIFFERENT SERVICE DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEES THAT FORD WAS AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND THEY WERE EXTENDING THE WARRENTY.THE SHUTTERING INCREASINGLY BECAME WORSE AND HAD BEGAN A LOUD GRINDING NOISE AND WAS STALLING SO BAD AT TAKE OFF I WAS WORRIED ABOUT HAVING AN ACCIDENT BECAUSE OF IT.THE ENGINE WOULD REV UP BUT WASN'T GOING ANYWHERE,THEN WOULD JERK INTO GEAR.IN DECEMBER OF 2015 I TOOK MY CAR BACK TO BEECHMONTFORD,THEY SAID IT NEEDED A NEW TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE AND A NEW CLUTCH.TO WHICH MY CAR WAS AT THE DEALERSHIP FOR 42DAYS.BECAUSE THE PROBLEM IS SO WIDE SPREAD THE PARTS WERE ON BACK ORDER AND MY CAR WAS DEEMED TO DANGEROUS TO DRIVE.THIS WAS COVERED UNDER A RECALL. ON JULY 15TH I TOOK THE CAR IN AND AGAIN MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE TRANSMISSION.I SPOKE TO A SERVICE PERSON WHO TOLD ME THAT FORD IS AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND THERE WAS AN UNBELIEVABLE AMOUNT OF VEHICLES COMING BACK IN FOR THE 2ND WITH THE EXACT SAME ISSUES AND THEY'RE REPLACING THE CLUTCH AGAIN.ON 8/5/2016 I TOOK MY CAR IN AND WAS THEN TOLD THIS TIME FORD WOULD NOT PAY FOR THE REPAIRS.I WAS TOLD AGAIN FORD'S AWARE OF THE ISSUES,FORD KNOWS IT'S DANGEROUS, YET THEY AREN'T COVERING IT TO HAVE IT FIXED AGAIN. ALTHOUGH IT WAS FIX IN DECEMBER FOR THE EXACT SAME ISSUE UNDER A RECALL.

FOUND 2 INCHES STANDING WATER IN PASSENGER BACK SEAT ... HAS BEEN INTO DEALER OVER 8 TIMES FOR OVER 40 TOTAL DAYS AND THE CARPET REMAINS WET. NOW CAUSING MOLD. THEY SEND IT OUT TO A SPECIAL WATER REMEDIATION VENDOR AND INSIST THAT THE ISSUE IS CORRECTED BUT WHEN YOU PUT YOUR HAND UNDER THE CARPET, EVEN AFTER IT HAS NOT RAINED FOR A COUPLE WEEKS AND YOUR HAND WILL COME OUT DRIPPING WATER. WITH HOW MANY TIMES THE CARPET HAS BEEN PULLED OUT AND REPLACED IT IS NOW ALL STRETCHED OUT AND PANELS WHERE THEY HAVE GONE INTO THE DOORS AND DASH FALL OFF TRANSMISSION ISSUES WITH SHUDDERING AND LOSING POWER , DEALERSHIP REPAIRED BUT ISSUE IS STARTING AGAIN. LOSES POWER GOING UP VERY SLIGHT HILLS, WILL LUG DOWN ON THE FLAT LIKE IT HAS BEEN DROPPED INTO A LOWER GEAR. NO POWER WHEN TRYING TO ACCELERATE NAVIGATION HAS GONE OUT AND REQUIRES YET ANOTHER TRIP INTO THE SERVICE CENTER CAR CURRENTLY HAS LESS THEN 8000 MILES ON ODOMETER.

CAR HESITATES, VIBRATES & SHAKES WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A STOPPED POSITION TO LOW SPEEDS. I DO A LOT OF CITY DRIVING, HIGHWAY DRIVING, DRIVING IN RURAL NEIGHBORHOODS. I ALSO, ON MY WAY, TO AND FROM WORK HAVE TO CROSS A SET OF RAILROAD TRACKS & I AM SO WORRIED THAT MY CAR MAY GET STUCK ON THE TRACKS, OR MY CAR WON'T ACCELERATE AS IT SHOULD AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT OR STOP SIGN & THE CAR BEHIND ME WON'T STOP IN TIME & THERE COULD BE AN ACCIDENT & I/ANY PASSENGERS COULD BE INJURED. BOTTOM LINE: I AM EXTREMELY CONCERNED FOR MY PERSONAL SAFETY IN A RELATIVELY NEW VEHICLE - PURCHASED IN DECEMBER OF 2014. I SHOULDN'T BE HAVING THESE PROBLEMS IN SUCH A NEW VEHICLE. THE FIRST TIME I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP, IT WAS A RECALL, SO THEY RESET THE COMPUTER SYSTEM, SAID IT WOULD TAKE 1,000 MILES TO RELEARN MY DRIVING. AFTER THE 1,000 MILES, IT WENT BACK TO THE SHAKING, VIBRATING & HESITATING. 2ND TIME BRINGING IT IN, I HAD THE MANAGER OF THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT RIDE WITH ME & HE FELT THE SHAKING, SO, AGAIN, THEY RESET THE SYSTEM AGAIN, GAVE ME THE INFO ABOUT WAITING 1,000 MILES TO RESET. AFTER THE 1,000 MILES, IT AGAIN, BEGAN SHAKING, VIBRATING & HESITATING AT LOW SPEEDS. THE SERVICE MANAGER GAVE ME HIS CARD & SAID IF I HAD ANY PROBLEMS, GIVE HIM A CALL. 3RD TIME BRINGING IT IN, THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT HAD A MECHANIC RIDE WITH ME. SAID HE FELT THE VIBRATIONS, SHAKING, HESITATION. WHILE AT THE SERVICE DESK, HE THEN HAD THE AUDACITY TO TELL ME THAT THE PROGRAM RELEARNS BAD BEHAVIORS INSTEAD OF THE GOOD ONES. IT SHOULDN'T MATTER IF I'M A GOOD OR BAD DRIVER, THE CAR SHOULD RUN PROPERLY. AND NOW (3/21/16), I HAVE FELT THE WORST SHAKING, VIBRATING & HESITATION EVER. I FELT INCREDIBLY UNSAFE TODAY. PLUS I HAD A PASSENGER IN MY CAR THAT MEANS A LOT TO ME. I REALLY HOPE THAT THIS ISSUE CAN GET RESOLVED BEFORE SOMETHING HORRIBLE HAPPENS.

WHILE COMMUTING TO WORK ON THE HIGHWAY AND COMING TO A STOP DUE TO TRAFFIC THE VEHICLE WAS HIT FROM BEHIND AT APPX 50MPH. MY WIFE SAW THE IMMINENT IMPACT A SPLIT SECOND BEFORE IT HAPPENED & TRIED TO APPLY THE BRAKES AS HARD AS POSSIBLE SO AS NOT TO HIT THE CAR IN FRONT OF HER (APPX 20-25 FEET AWAY). NONETHELESS, THE IMPACT WAS TOO GREAT. IT TOTALLY DESTROYED THE REAR OF OUR CAR AND BLEW OUT THE BACK GLASS. IT ALSO PUSHED OUR CAR INTO THE CAR IN FRONT WHICH DAMAGED THE RIGHT FRONT, BENT THE HOOD IN THE FRONT MIDDLE SECTION, MADE THE UNDERCARRIAGE POP OUT, AND BROKE THE RADIATOR. THERE MAY HAVE BEEN ADDITIONAL FRONT END DAMAGE BUT THE HOOD WAS NOT OPENED AT THE TIME. WHAT'S WORSE, IN ALL OF THIS, THE VEHICLE'S AIR BAGS NEVER DEPLOYED! SO, MY WIFE HIT HER HEAD ON THE STEERING WHEEL TWICE. MOREOVER, THE SEAT BACK BROKE WHICH CREATED A POTENTIALLY PARALYZING AND/ OR DEADLY CONDITION DUE TO HER BODY'S MOMENTUM AS OPPOSED TO THE CAR'S MOMENTUM (I.E., SHE HAD NO BACK STABILITY)! LASTLY, HER KNEES WERE JAMMED INTO SOME PORTION OF THE DASH/ STEERING COLUMN. MY WIFE HAS SUSTAINED SOME INJURIES AND WE ARE CURRENTLY GETTING HER TREATED.

THE POWERSHIFT TRANSMISSION JERKS AND JOLTS, ESPECIALLY AT TAKE OFF. I DRIVE LOCALLY 95% OF THE TIME AND THIS IS EXACERBATING MY CURRENT MEDICAL PROBLEMS WITH MY NECK, HEAD, BACK AND HIP. I SEE NOW THAT FORD WITHHELD THIS INFORMATION ABOUT WHAT THEY CALLED THEIR NEW AND BETTER TRANSMISSION. HAD THEY TOLD US IT DOES THIS, WE WOULDN'T HAVE BOUGHT IT. I KNEW THE DAY AFTER WE GOT IT AND I WAS HURTING BAD, AND THE DEALER WOULD NOT TAKE IT BACK, EVEN THOUGH THEY KNEW THIS CAR WAS HURTING ME. I TOOK IT TO THEM IN AUGUST AND THEY ACTED LIKE THEY KNEW NOTHING. WHEN I PICKED IT UP TWO DAYS LATER, THEY SAID THEY MADE A SOFTWARE ADJUSTMENT TO MAKE IT MORE COMFORTABLE FOR ME. THAT LASTED FOR A DAY AND A HALF AND DROPPED THE GAS MILEAGE TO 17MPG IN TOWN WHEN IT HAD BEEN GETTING 25.6MPG. AFTER THE DAY AND A HALF, THE AGGRESSIVE JERKING RETURNED AND GAS MILEAGE WENT BACK UP. ALSO, WHEN I PICKED IT UP, THEY THEN ACTED LIKE THEY KNEW ABOUT IT AND PROVIDED ME WITH A TWO PAGE PRINT OUT OF THAT TRANSMISSION AND HOW IT WORKS, AND THEY CLAIM THIS IS NORMAL. THEY ALSO SAID THE SALESPEOPLE ARE SUPPOSED TO TELL PEOPLE ABOUT THIS TRANSMISSION, YET WE WERE TOLD NOTHING AND IT DIDN'T DO IT ON THE TEST DRIVE. IF THE CAR SITS, IT WON'T DO IT AT TAKE OFF, BUT THE MORE YOU DRIVE IT, THE MORE IT DOES IT AND IT IS NOT OCCASIONAL OR SLIGHT. IT ACTS LIKE IT WON'T EVEN GO SOMETIMES AT A GREEN LIGHT OR LOSES POWER SIGNIFICANTLY. THAT'S HOW IT FEELS TO ME BUT I DON'T KNOW IF IT REALLY IS. IT IS AN AWFUL STRONG CHEMICAL SMELL. WE ARE CONCERNED BECAUSE OUR TWO SMALL CHILDREN SIT BACK THERE IN THAT SECTION OF THE CAR. ALSO, NOBODY WANTS TO RIDE IN THIS CAR BECAUSE OF THE SMELL. THE LOCAL FORD REPAIR SHOP CONFIRMS THE SMELL BUT CANNOT TELL WHAT IT IS. ONE DEALER (TRACY FORD) THINKS IT IS CHEMICAL FROM PLASTIC, THE OTHER DEALER THAT MADE US PAY 150$ FOR NOT FIXING ANYTHING MUCH, DOESNT KNOW WHAT CAUSED IT AND WILL NOT PERFORM ANY WORK OTHER THAN THE BASIC CHECK BECAUSE THEY SAID IT WOULD COST THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO TAKE APART MORE PARTS THAN THE BASIC LOOK AROUND CHECK. THE FIRST AND MOST NOTICEABLE TIME, IT RESULTED IN MY HITTING THE BUMPER OF THE PERSON IN FRONT OF ME AND A MORE THAN $5000 REPAIR TO THEIR CAR. AT THE TIME, I WAS A SAFE DISTANCE AWAY AT A DRIVE-THRU AND APPLIED GAS TO MOVE FORWARD. AT FIRST, NOTHING HAPPENED, THEN THE CAR LURCHED FORWARD SUDDENLY. HE SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT FOR IT, REPROGRAM THE COMPUTER (OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT) BUT THE PROBLEM IS STILL THE SAME. THE CAR HAS A BIG PROBLEM CHANGING GEARS, THAT IS NOT SAFE AND THERE IS A LOT OF COMPLAINS ABOUT THAT ON THE INTERNET. I COMPLAINED WITH FORD AND THEIR FINAL ANSWER WAS: FURTHERMORE, I HAVE REVIEWED IF THERE ARE ANY WARRANTIES ON THE VEHICLE AND I AM NOT SEEING ANY. I PUSH MORE ON THE GAS PEDDLE TO GET MORE SPEED AND IT WOULD NOT MOVE HIGHER THAN 55MPH. FOR SOME APPEARENT REASON IT STAYED STUCK AT 50-55MPH. I'M QUITE DISAPPOINTED ON THE DEALERS WHO SOLD US THE CAR WHICH THEY KNEW THE ISSUE OF THESE PARTICULAR VEHICLES, AND ALSO THE MANUFACTURERS WHO HAVE CAUSE CONCERN FOR WHO EVER HAD BOUGHT THIS TYPE OF VEHICLE. I BOUGHT MY FORD FOCUS AS A FORD CERTIFIED CAR ON 04/06/2015. CAR IS USED, HAD APPROXIMATELY 22,000 MILES ON IT. ABOUT THE BEGINNING OF MAY I STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR SHUTTERING WHEN I WOULD ACCELERATE. IT BECAME WORSE AND TOOK IT INTO DEALER FOR SERVICE. THE SERVICE PERSON THAT IT IS THE CLUTCH. HE SAID THAT IT WOULD TAKE 2-3 MONTHS TO GET THE PART AS THE CLUTCH IS ON BACK ORDER DUE TO SO MANY CARS HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. I ASKED WHY I WAS NOT TOLD ABOUT THIS DEFECT WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR. WHY DIDN'T DEALER FIX IT BEFORE SELLING IT. THE PROBLEM HAS ESCALATED AND I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE AROUND WITH MY GRANDCHILDREN. I AM ALSO SCARED AS THE SHUTTERING IS AMPLIFIED GOING UP HILL AND WHEN ACCELERATING. I COMPLAINED TO FORD MOTOR BUT THEY HAVE NOT GOTTEN BACK TO ME. I FEEL THAT I WAS SOLD THE CAR UNDER FALSE CIRCUMSTANCES. IF I HAD KNOWN OF THIS PROBLEM I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT SOMETHING ELSE. I AM 71, THIS PROBABLY MY LAST CAR AND I CANNOT EVEN ENJOY IT AS AFRAID OF CRASH. THIS NOT AN ISOLATED INCIDENT. THERE ARE SO MANY CLUTCHES THAT NEED TO BE REPLACED; WHY NO RECALL?? THE DEALERSHIP HAS NOT FIXED IT AND SAYS THE CAR IS SAFE. I DO NOT AGREE. THEY SAID THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO UNTIL PART IS IN.

THE TRANSMISSION SHUTTERS VERY BADLY TYPICALLY WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A STOPPED POSITION. SOMETIMES THE CAR WILL NOT MOVE FORWARD WHEN I PRESS ON THE GAS AND THEN SUDDENLY JOLT FORWARD UNPREDICTABLY. SOMETIMES IT WILL GET STUCK IN AN INTERSECTION WITH VIRTUALLY NO ACCELERATION BECAUSE THE TRANSMISSION DOES NOT SHIFT TO THE CORRECT GEAR. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS CAR. FORD DEALERSHIP LOOKED AT MY CAR ON 6/16/2015 AND SAID THEY HAVE TO ORDER A NEW TRANSMISSION, BUT IT WILL NOT COME IN FOR 8-12 WEEKS. SO I AM STUCK DRIVING THIS UNSAFE CAR FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME UNTIL THE NEW PART COMES IN TO FIX THE PROBLEM (IF IT EVEN FIXES THE PROBLEM).

SINCE I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE IN MARCH OF 2014, IT HAS BUCKED AT SLOW ACCELERATION AT SPEEDS OF 10-25 MILES PER HOUR. THIS CAUSED VIBRATION OF THE REAR END AND INCONSISTENT ACCELERATION. IT OCCURS MORE OFTEN IN HOT WEATHER. I HAVE HAD IT CHECK TWICE, BUT THE DEALERS SAY THAT IT IS NORMAL WITH THIS TYPE OF TRANSMISSION. IT ALSO IS MORE PREVALENT IN STOP AND GO TRAFFIC.

SEVERAL TIMES THE SUN ROOF INTERMITTENTLY DOES NOT CLOSE. ONCE IT'S OPEN, IT WILL EITHER NOT STAY OPEN OR WILL NOT CLOSE AT ALL. IT REPEATEDLY OPENS AND CLOSES OVER AND OVER AND STOPS WHEN THE SUN ROOF IS OPEN. SOMETIMES AFTER 10 OR TWENTY TIMES IT STOPS AT OPEN POSITION OR IT WILL CLOSE. THERE IS NO WAY TO CLOSE IT UNLESS TRYING OVER AND OVER UNTIL IT FINALLY CLOSES. SOMETIMES IT WILL NOT CLOSE AT ALL NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES OF TRYING AND MUST WAIT UNTIL SOME OTHER TIME TO GET IT TO CLOSE. SPEED OF DRIVING OR WEATHER CONDITIONS SEEM IRRELEVANT TO THE CONDITION. IT DOESN'T MATTER IF THE CAR IS TURNED OFF AND THEN RE-STARTED.

EVER SINCE AROUND 10,000 MILES, MY 2014 FORD FOCUS HAS BEEN EXPERIENCING DELAYED ACCELERATION AND DECELERATION, GRINDING NOISES COMING FROM THE TRANSMISSION, SHAKING, ROUGH STARTS, AND SHUTTERING. IT'S CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO LURCH FORWARD RAPIDLY AFTER NOT INITIALLY ACCELERATING, WITH A FEW CLOSE CALLS IN TRAFFIC. FORD IS AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM. I'VE TAKEN THIS VEHICLE IN TO BE SERVICED, ONLY TO HAVE THEM TELL ME THE PART ISN'T AVAILABLE. IT'S BEEN 4 MONTHS, STILL WAITING. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.

WHEN TRYING TO ACCELERATE FROM BEING STOPPED AT A LIGHT TO COMPLETE A LEFT TURN THE CAR WOULD NOT ACCELERATOR AND BEGAN TO SHUTTER EVEN THOUGH I WAS PRESSING THE GAS THE CAR DID NOT MOVE. I WAS FINALLY ABLE TO MOVE FROM TRAFFIC AND NARROWLY AVOIDED BEING HIT BY ONCOMING TRAFFIC. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AS I NEED MY VEHICLE TO TRANSPORT MY CHILDREN .I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE IS ALL SHUTTERING WHEN THE TRANSMISSION IS TRYING TO SHIFT GEAR. IF IT HAD BEEN DISCLOSED THE THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION WAS A MANUAL TRANSMISSION IN THIS VEHICLE I WOULD NOT OF PURCHASED IT. I HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM FOR OVER 1 YEAR (SINCE I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE NEW) AND I HAVE BROUGHT TO FORD 4 TIMES AND EACH TIME I AM TOLD IT IS OPERATING WITHIN NORMAL PERAMATORS . THE DEALERSHIP REPLACED THE CLUTCH ONLY AFTER I HAD THE CAR FOR ONLY 3 MONTHS. I ALSO REACHED OUT TO FORD CORPORATION AND WAS TOLD THE SAME THING AND THAT THERE IS NOTHING FURTHER THEY CAN DO.

FORD FOCUS ST '14 : ON STARTUP THE ENGINE REVS TO 1500 THEN DOWN TO <500RPM AND ALMOST STALLS. IN ADDITION, SOMETIMES WHILE DRIVING, IF THE CLUTCH IS DEPRESSED THE ENGINE REVS WILL RAPIDLY DECREASE TO THIS NEAR STALL POINT CAUSING LOTS OF ENGINE SHUTTER. THERE IS A TSB (13-9-7) RELEASED, BUT THE ENGINE IS THROWING 0 CODES WHEN THE ENGINE SHUTTER HAPPENS. *TT
