Airbags failed to deploy at 30-40 mph head on collision. Vehicle had an airbag light come up, was inspected by Ford and the RCM module was replaced as directed by manual. Airbags were also inspected at the time. Lights were cleared after the replacement. Was the car not reading the speed at the time of the accident? My wife and 2 toddlers were in the vehicle at the time of the accident. I have a wrist injury and whiplash. Injuries could have been worse if it was a vehicle of twice the size or a semi.
1. Gear shift jammed (from 3 months of owning my car, until now -4 yrs). 2. Stop Safely Now Caution Light on. Vechile stops, then shuts off, can't turn it back on until about 20 minutes, Maybe Transmission? I am highly displeased! The transmission started to kick when this "Stop Safely Light" appeared. I could have been in a car accident.
Trunk unlatches itself when car is unlocked, has happened when backing out of driveway, it doesn’t do it for a few weeks then starts back up again,
I PULLED STRAIGHT INTO MY GARAGE, PUT THE CAR IN PARK, TOOK MY FOOT OFF OF THE BRAKE PEDAL, AND THE CAR DROVE FORWARD. IF THERE WASN'T A POLE IN BETWEEN THE CAR AND THE GARAGE WALL, IT WOULD HAVE GONE THROUGH THE WALL.

DRIVING 70MPH ON HIGHWAY WHEN CAR SHUT DOWN. NO POWER AND NO BRAKES. WAS ABLE TO GET ONTO SHOULDER AND CAR AUTOMATICALLY WENT FROM D INTO P ON ITS OWN ONCE IT CAME TO COMPLETE STOP. CAR RESTARTED AND WAS ABLE TO FINISH TRIP WITH NO OTHER PROBLEMS. VERY SCARY AND DANGEROUS.

RECALL WAS FIX BY FORD OF ENGLEWOOD NJ ! THEY TELL ME THE RECALL DOESN'T SHOW UP ON THERE SYSTEM ! BUT WHEN I GO FOR CAR INSPECTION IT SAYS MY CAR HAS THE RECALL 18S08 THAT IT HASN'T GOTTEN BEEN REMOVED FROM THE DEALERSHIP I'VE GONE OVER 4 TIMES TO SEE IF THEY REMOVED IT AND NOTHING I EVEN HAVE THE RECEIPT THEY FIX IT ! IVE CALLED FORD CORPORATE AND THEY TELL ME THE RECALL IS STILL ON THE VEHICLE THAT THE DEALERSHIP NEEDS TO REMOVE IT I'VE GONE BACK AND FORTH AND NO ONE HAS HELP ME SOLVE THIS PROBLEM THIS IS MY WORKING CAR FOR UBER/LYFT AND I NEED TO HAVE THE RECALL REMOVE FROM ALL THE SYSTEMS OUT THERE ! THEY NOT DISAGREEING THAT IT HASN'T GOTTEN FIX ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT THEY HAVEN'T REMOVED THE RECALL FROM ALL THE SYSTEMS THEY ONLY REMOVED IT FROM TGE DEALERSHIP SYSTEM AND IT STILL COMES OUT ON THE FORD WEBSITE THAT MY CAR HAS THE RECALL

CPSC:I PURCHASED AN ALLEN BIKE RACK 2 DELUXE TWO BIKE TRUNK CARRIER. I MOUNTED IT ON A FORD FUSION 2017 HYBRID THAT IS LISTED ON THE FIT LIST AS ONE OF THE VEHICLES THAT THE CARRIER "FITS". THE CARRIER DOES NOT INSTALL SOLIDLY. IT CONTINUALLY SLIDES OFF THE VEHICLE. BF* THE CONSUMER STATED THE CLAMPS DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH GRIP TO SAFELY HOLD THE CARRIER AND THE BIKES. THE BIKES ALMOST FELL OFF ON THE FREEWAY. UPDATED 09/12/2017*JS
I JUST BOUGHT A 2017 FORD FUSION. WHILE DRIVING ON A CALIFORNIA FREEWAY A ROCK HIT MY FRONT WINDSHIELD AT THE TOP RIGHT CORNER WHICH CAUSED A LONG STRESS CRACK ACROSS THE WINDOW. I CONTACTED THE DEALER AND THEY TELL ME THEY WON'T COVER IT. I'M INSURED. THAT'S NOT THE ISSUE. I WONDER IF THIS HAS BEEN REPORTED BY ANYONE ELSE WHO OWNS A FORD?. MY TOYOTA HAS BEEN HIT MANY TIMES AND HARDER THAN WHAT THIS ROCK DID BUT IT HAS NEVER SHOWN A FRACTURE LIKE THIS. PLEASE ADVISE. I CAN ALSO SEND PICS. A GLASS REPAIR COMPANY LOOKED AT IT AND ALSO TOLD ME THAT IT SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED.

CAR IS EQUIPPED WITH AUTO LOCK THAT CANNOT BE DISABLED. THIS POSES A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE. I AM A SENIOR CITIZEN AND IF SOMETHING MEDICAL SHOULD HAPPEN TO ME WHILE DRIVING, I WANT TO BE SURE THE DOORS ARE UNLOCKED WHEN HELP ARRIVES. IF I FORGET TO UNLOCK THE DOORS AFTER THE AUTO LOCK LOCKS THEM, I COULD BE IN TROUBLE. FORD SAYS THE AUTO LOCK FEATURE IS A REGIONAL FEATURE, BUT SOME FUSION ON MY DEALERS LOT HAVE AUTO LOCK DISABLE, OTHERS DO NOT. IF IT IS A REGIONAL FEATURE, FORD IS SELLING MODELS OUTSIDE THE REGION. I HAVE READ THE OWNER'S MANUAL FROM COVER TO COVER AND RESEARCHED THE INTERNET TO SEE IF ANY SOLUTION WAS AVAILABLE. MY PREVIOUS CAR WAS A FORD FOCUS, ALSO WITH AUTO LOCK, BUT THERE WAS A WORK AROUND TO DISABLE THE FEATURE. I CONSIDER THIS TO BE A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE AND HOPE THAT A SOLUTION WITH FORD CAN BE REACHED. THANKS

THE VIN ASSIGNED TO THE VEHICLE MISIDENTIFIES THE MODEL AS "TITANIUM HYBRID". WITH THE 2017 FORD DESIGNED A NEW EDITION OF FUSION TO BE A "PLATINUM HYBRID" WHICH HAS A MSRP ABOVE THE "TITANIUM HYBRID" BY $6,500. I CONTACT FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER AND THEY INFORMED ME IT WAS A DEALER ISSUE TO CORRECT THE VIN?? THE DEALER IS CALLED THE REGIONAL OFFICE FOR ASSISTANCE. I BELIEVE THAT FORD DOES NOT UNDERSTAND IT RESPONSIBLE TO PROVE CORRECT DATA ASSOCIATED WITH A VIN. INSURANCE COMPANIES AND FINANCIAL COMPANIES RELY ON THE DATA FROM THE VIN.
