My rear camera will go out while in reverse. Sometimes boxes appear on the screen or it will be completely black.
Car stopped driving correctly and the transmission now needs replaced
My car was parked in my driveway. I realized that I didn't have my key on me. So I quickly ran in the house to get my key. I went outside to find my car rolling down my driveway into my neighbor's brick house. My 11 year old was messing with the gear shift from the back seat and was able to change the gear to neutral with no brake engaged and no key in the ignition. When I went to the dealership, an employee was able to tell me that it was a bad shifter cable bushing. I checked to see if there is a recall and there was for our year, make, and model; unfortunately, our VIN is now registered under the recall.
Engine coolant leaking into cylinder 2. This is a known common issue on eco boost engines. Engine repair was quoted as replacement needed for 8000$. This is dangerous because the car will stop and potentially leave you stranded in the middle of the road with traffic. Additionally, this may result in fires due to water pump running dry and water being burned off in the cylinder which results in blue smoke on cold starts. Ford has been knowing of the engine defect and continued to place the engines in their cars as late as 2019.
The contact owned a 2013 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked at the contact's work parking lot, the vehicle caught on fire due to unknown reasons. A security guard discovered the fire, and called the Fire Department extinguished the fire. A fire report was filed. No police report was filed. The contact was at work during the incident, and it was not until he finished his shift that he discovered that his vehicle had caught on fire. The contact believed the fire started from the engine area, per witnesses. The vehicle was towed to a local towing yard. The contact notified his insurance company and deemed the vehicle totaled. The fire spread and damaged several vehicles parked nearby. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 127,000.

The back up/ rear camera failed on this vehicle. The sudden failure of this caused me to panic as I could no longer see directly behind my vehicle.
Vehicle has coolant leaking and temp getting hot just like the Ford coolant recall on my year, make and model of car, yet my VIN doesn't bring up a recall. Took to Ford dealership for a coolant sensor recall and told can't fix it the coolant issue is fixed and that it should be on the recall list. Bao I sit with no car.
Steering wheel pulls to the right even after new alignment caused me to hit a curb
My vehicle has a coolant intrusion from a known defective head gasket. The gasket has failed and there is coolant on the pistons. This is a known issue for Ford ecoboost engines from 2013-2018 and I request NHTSA's assistance with compelling Ford to remedy the problem.
Complete computer system is not working, won’t show me how many miles i have, won’t blow out any air. My windows won’t roll down. This happens at least 10 times a year. I put it in drive and it went BACKWARDS as i pressed on the gas pedal and the brake locked up. So i turned it on and off and SAME thing happened.
The fire started in the engine, unsure of exact cause according to the fire report. My wife [XXX] ), I, and my one year old daughter’s safety was compromised bc there was no warning until a minute before us realizing fire and exited the vehicle. Car was investigated by local department. Break lights will not turn off after week of high heat and humidity.
My complaint does not concern an accident. It concerns the two incomplete recalls referenced above. I have been trying to schedule these repairs since, I believe, February and the Service Department at the local Ford dealership, Mac Haik Ford, 4242 East Sam Houston Pkwy S, Pasadena, TX 77505, will not even respond to my requests to schedule the work. I have left detailed messages with the Haik contact representative (vehicle model and year, the Campaign/NHTSA numbers that I want to have done, my phone number, my email address, etc.) as requested by Haik's contact person and no one from the Service Department has ever responded, not even once. In order to give Ford and Haik a final chance before filing this complaint, I left TWO scheduling requests this week- one on Monday or Tuesday and one yesterday. The Service Department did not respond to either. However, in response to my repeated efforts to schedule this safety recall work, I have been spammed with car sales solicitation calls and emails back from the dealership beginning on March 1. (Perhaps earlier, but March 1 is the first undeleted email that is still on my computer.) These safety recall campaigns are not being administered, and processed as such by Ford Motor Company, at least not by its dealership in Pasadena, Texas. The Mac Haik dealership obviously has no interest in doing this recall work. I suppose they can make more money doing other work. In any event, Ford's recall notices are just used as sales prospect-generating tools. They are not actually accepting cars and doing the recall work.
I have driven my car a little over 600 miles after the first recall was done for the engine overheat and a sensor was replaced. They drove it 0 miles to test drive it after (it shows on my paperwork) since around 600 miles it has sat because now my engine is actually overheating. I had no idea that I could contact ford again about this until recently and I have the paperwork and mileage to match. But I am afraid they will say the recall was performed and be of no help. Clearly they didn’t care enough to test drive the car after the fix. So I cannot trust them to properly take care of this problem.
Although this vehicle is 10 years old it has only logged less than 17k miles (near new condition). A few months back it was noted that the backlighting on the console, steering wheel, interior door panels and overhead console were inoperative under non-daylight conditions. At night, it's driving blind from an instrumentation perspective. Controls cannot be located as they cannot be seen. This backlighting has a mind of its own. Upon entering the vehicle all the lighting in question lights up and then times out (?) Activating outside lighting (headlights) when you expect and need the backlighting, it just isn't there. Disconnecting the battery for 12 hours (reboot) did nothing to solve the problem. Personally, I believe the slap-happy lighting engineers went way overboard with warning and flashing lights on this vehicle. The lighting in question is there, not just when needed. Due to this over-engineering I refuse to pay shop labor prices to troubleshoot or replace parts on a premium vehicle. As this car has become the "Recall Queen" I feel it was placed on the market well before its time and as a consumer I'm now the guinea pig in the field. Never another Ford. NOTE: Uploaded file shows console section and backlighting is ON. Ignition is off and if car is started the backlighting eventually turns off. Activating the headlights the console and all other backlighting remains dead.
1. Im driving and all of a sudden my car will not leave the park position . It turns out that theres a recall on said problem and when i called dealership to have them tow vehicle they said i have to pay for tow. Even though its a manufactor recall. And I get car serviced regularly at dealership. This clearly not my fault as a consumer so why am i a absorbing cost. I calked for road side they gave me run around and numbers which no one answers . While my car is not working and thank god i was at a stop sign when this happened it could have been worst. And i must pay for something that is not my fault. Clearly not how this works when there is a recall. 2. Another is that i found with this car was i let back seat down to put my grand babys stroller in and seat in back wont let up on hybrid due to all the wiring under neath and in trunk. Apparently u must leave middle seat belt in latched position because that what allows u to let seat up. The car seat is supposed to go in middle area. This is clearly poor nanufactoring. But yet they charge a hundred dollars to let seat up .also a manufactoring issue. Tge solution that was given was never let back seat down. But how is that a solution when seat should let down and up. I can put car seat in back anymore nor can my babys buckle their seat belt in back. It is clearly a safety issue and if i check online or youtube this is clearly a real issue but ford ignored. How many moms or kids must die from fords haphazard behavior or stand behind the vehicle recalls that the nhtsa has authorized them to repair. . I am almost 50 but i gurantee i will make this my mission to hold ford and nhtsa accountable for this negligentband poorly made cars by ford. I will not pay for an issue which is clearly a manufacters issue. I have to pay for a tow on a transmission recall . When it was never my fault to begin with.
My passenger door came open while I was driving. I was not able to get it to close.

Not sure if related to recall - took vehicle in due service in December 2022 for service and recall. My Ford app indicates they did not take care of it. While driving from California to arizona on January 9, 2023 the engine lights came on: coolant hot, vehicle unsafe to drive, see manual. I couldn’t drive my vehicle. Broke down on the 10 interstate. Would not move. Would not go into reverse. It was towed to surprise Ford in surprise, arizona and I’m currently awaiting diagnostic testing. They said they will check if it’s related to recall. Towed from I-10 to home by AAA. Home to shop by sttae farm insurance. Thank you. The contact stated that after being inspected at the dealer, the damage to the vehicle was found to have no relation to the recall.
I purchased this 2013 in September 2022. My car is jerking while driving, when put into drive from reverse, it will say in reverse. It will shut down while idling from stop to go. I am afraid because, I almost caused an accident while driving the interstate.
Power steering column just stopped working in the middle of driving and I made it home okay but the next day it barely even could move and a bunch of lights came up on the dash and they wouldn’t stop going off whenever I start the car
Was sold the car with no inspection and was pushed to get this 2013 Ford Fusion. Lights inside car flickers on and off rather car is on or off; caused to get new battery.

Ford Dealership says that the car has swollen lug nuts Therefore they will not rotate the tires They are factory wheels and lug nuts Why has there not been a recall on all of these junk lug nuts?
My coolant has been disappearing at an exceptional rate in my 2013 Ford Fusion with a 1.6L Ecoboost engine. About once every week or so my "Coolant Level Running Low" message comes on and I have to add more coolant. This went on for several months, no dangerous problem, just buying coolant regularly and wondering where it's all going. No sign of coolant under my car. I was driving to work when the warning message "Engine Coolant Overtemperature" came on and my car stalled. Thankfully I was able to pull over safely. The coolant was low again and the engine overheated. I read other people with the same year, make, model, and engine also had the same issue - coolant vanishing causing the car to overheat and stall, some resulting in fire. I believe this is due to the coolant leaking into the hot exhaust system as safety recall 12S41 describes. Because my car was manufactured in 2013 and not 2012, my VIN is not listed to be recalled despite the same issue on my same make, model, and engine. The Ford dealership would not fix it as a recall. I'm grateful mine didn't result in a fire this time unlike some other unlucky folks in my same position.
when I pull out the gearbox it makes a medium loud noise in the transmission, I try to call because I received notifications, number and description of the 19S16 campaign but it turns out that the automated call does not recognize the numbering
The mechanism and cable to unlatch the hood corroded to the point that the hood to the car was unable to be opened. This could be a hazard in the event oil needed or antifreeze needed to be added to prevent engine damage. Or if the hood were to somehow become ajar, it could potentially cause the hood to open up while driving, creating a visual obstruction and increasing the risk for a motor vehicle crash.
Engine shut off while driving, and a "transmission not in park" message was displayed. Car was able to restart after several tries. Looking online I found a lot of people with the same issue, but no answered questions.
The transmission keeps jerking and when waiting for a light to change car jerks. Also makes a noise that sounds like water boiling but it is something with the Moter.
Our transmission thinks the car is always in drive. It won’t start, and shifts very roughly. There was a recall for this, but not sure why our specific vehicle wasn’t included.
On 10/31/21 at approximately 7:30 pm my dashboard alerted me with a steering assist fault after making a turn on a rotary on Mystic valley Pkwy Somerville Ma 02144. After entering the rotary my vehicles steering wheel become stiff and hard to move and staring moving towards the left side close to the curbs. I was traveling at around 20mph. I was able to move the vehicle to a near by park that was located on the same street as the rotary (Dilboy stadium). After parking the vehicle, I shut it off and restarted it. After doing so, the alert disappeared and I was able to drive the vehicle normally. After leaving the park 5 minutes later the alert popped back again. I was driving in a straight line so the steering assist did not cause much of a problem, however I could feel the stiffness of the steering wheel. When I arrived to my destination, after performing a left turn my vehicle once again starting leaning towards the left side almost causing me to hit the curb. At around 9:00pm I had towed the vehicle to a Fords dealership. On Monday the 1st I was able to drive the vehicle with same steering wheel conditions to an independent dealership who performed a check and received a fault code of C200D:49 with the solution of replacing power steering rack with module which could only fixed at a Ford dealership due to the module. In the situation described above I was very fortunate that I was not driving at high speed in an area with high traffic, as an accident would’ve most likely occurred. I know that there is no recall on my specific vin however I am aware that other vins with the same year and model have recalls on them. I do not have any other alerts on the car. The fault I came across is a safety hazard not only to myself but other cars on the road. After digging around on the web the steering wheel fault is a common error that a lot of Ford owners come across and I believe that an investigation needs to be launched to protect the safety of drivers and pedestrians.
No warning light. Rpm’s surge high, low then engine shuts off while driving or idle. I could be in the middle of an intersection and my engine will shut itself off. Major safety issue and this car needs to be recalled. Happens even after taking it to the dealer “fixing” the “problem.” I’m not sure they even know the issue. They just try replacing things for a short term fix yet still having issues long term.
The car would stop after the warning of over heating so the car would just shut down go into what is called limp mode was told that is to protect the engine so we was told that in order for them to check we first had to purchase ford parts to get it started which we did but about 30days later same problem took it back they charged me another fee to put on the diagnostic machine which we did. That still didn't take care of the problem this went on from April 2021 well in May received a recall for the coolant system on this car make and model made appt took it in well they failed at fixing this with the car having to be left there weeks at a time it is still there they couldn't repair it they now are saying it is the engine do we want it repaired I don't no how when they can't even fix what it was there for now all of a sudden it's on me and the agent that called first said the transmission they have no clue they are just trying not to be responsible for this car even towing company knows where to take the car I have been put down all over town. This has been a nightmare I am afraid of the car and no trust with the people that's fixing the recall because they don't know how.

MY FAMILY AND I DROVE TO THE BEACH AND WE PARKED. THEN WHEN WERE DRIVING HOME ON THE FREEWAY I LOST POWER IN THE STEERING WHEEL. IT TOOK ALL MY STRENGTH/ MUSCLE TO KEEP CONTROL OF CAR. THAT IS WHEN A LIGHT CAME ON. I MANAGED TO GET HOME AT THAT POINT WE PULLED OUT THE MANUAL TO LOOK UP THE SYMBOL. IT TOO ABOUT 1 HOUR ALONG WITH THE INTERNET JUST TO FIGURE THAT IT WAS THE POWER ASSISTED SYSTEM. IT STATED THAT THE STEERING WOULD BE WITH OUT POWER AND COULD POTENTIAL LOSE CONTROL ALL TOGETHER. WE IMMEDIATELY CALLED TO HAVE IT TOWED FROM HOME TO DEALER AFTER LOOKING UP RECALLS I NOTICED THEIR WAS A RECALL FOR THE SAME THING THAT HAPPEN TO ME BUT ON THE EAST COAST. HOWEVER MY VIN NUMBER SAID MY CAR WAS NOT PART OF THAT RECALL. BUT THE YEAR MAKE MODEL WAS. IT IS MY BELIEF THAT FORD SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE TO FIX THIS ISSUE NOT ONLY BECAUSE OF THAT BUT EVEN THOUGH MY CAR IS A 2013 IT HAVE LESS THAN 30,000 MILES ON IT. SHOWING IT WAS NOT DRIVEN MUCH OR MISSED USED. IT IS OBVIOUSLY A DEFECT IN PART OR MANUFACTURE INSTALLATION OR WHATEVER. THE MOST RECENT WAS 3/26/2021 WOKE UP THE NEXT MORNING THE TRUCK WAS OPEN. A COUPLE OF DAYS BEFORE WE WHERE DRIVING ABOUT TO MERGE ON THE FREEWAY THEY TRUCK OPEN HAD TO PULL OVER TO CLOSE.
MY 2013 FORD FUSION IS HAVING ISSUES WITH THE PASSENGER DOOR. IT WAS GETTING HARDER TO CLOSE WITH OUT SLAMMING IT. WELL ONE DAY IT FLEW OPEN WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON A CITY STREET TURNING ALMOST CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. THE DOOR WOULDN'T STAY CLOSED WITHOUT ROPE FROM THEN ON. GOOD THING I DIDN'T HAVE MY 3 KIDS WITH ME AT THE TIME. THE FORCE BENT THE HINGES AS WELL AS DENTED THE DOOR. I TOOK IT TO A LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD MY CAR WAS ON THE RECALL LIST FOR FAULTY DOOR LATCHES AND TO BRING IT BACK IN 5 DAYS. THIS IS AFTER I TOLD THEM I HAVE TO DRIVE WITH A ROPE HOLDING THE DOOR CLOSED. I BRING MY CAR IN 5 DAYS LATER AND GET A RENTAL THAT FORD WOULDN'T COVER. WELL 2 DAYS LATER I GET A CALL SAYING THEY WILL NOT FIX THE RECALLED DOOR LATCH AND TO COME PICK UP MY CAR. I'VE BEEN DRIVING AROUND FOR OVER A MONTH NOW WITH MY DOOR ROPED SHUT BUT IT POPS OPEN STILL. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. I'M NOT FINANCIALLY STABLE ENOUGH TO PAY FOR THE COSTLY REPAIR. I'M AT SUCH A LOSS THAT FORD WILL NOT FIX THIS SAFETY ISSUE. THE DEALER SHIP EVEN CLEARED THE RECALL ON LINE AND IT NOW SAYS ALL LATCHES ARE FIXED PLEASE? HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN? PLEASE HELP!

RANDOMLY I WILL GET THE SERVICE ADVANCETRAC, HILLSTART ASSIST NOT AVAILABLE, AND TRACTION CONTROL LIGHTS. IT WILL BE HARD TO STEER FOR A FEW MINUTES, SOMETIMES IT WILL SHAKE A LITTLE, AND THEN THE PROBLEM WILL GO AWAY AND IT WILL RUN FINE. THE SHIFTER LINKAGE CAME DETACHED AND THE CAR WASN'T ABLE TO SHIFT. THE BUSHINGS HAVE DETERIORATED AND CAUSED THE SHIFT TO COME OFF . THERE WAS A RECALL ON MY MODEL IN 2018 WHICH THEY SAY WAS FIXED. BUT IT IS CAUSING UN GOING ISSUES. NOW THE (CTV)? MODULE NEEDS REPLACING. BOTTOM LINE, CYLINDER HEAD SENSOR KEEPS SHOOTING A CODE THAT THE COOLANT IS TO LOW, WHILE IT IS NOT. YOU START THE CAR AND THE NEEDLE SHOOTS TO HOT. WARNING SIGNAL GOES OF AND ENGINE STARTS TO SHAKE PLUS FANS KICK ON. ENGINE LIGHT PLUS OVERHEATING COMES ON. LEAKS HAVE BEEN FIXED BUT THE MODULE WAS A RECALL AND THEY VERBALLY NO LONGER GRANT IT FREELY FIXED, BECAUSE OF TIME OVERLAPS.

WHEN GOING DOWN A HILL WHETHER YOU ARE USING CRUISE CONTROL OR NOT, THE CAR WILL DOWNSHIFT REALLY HARD, ONCE, TWICE AND SOMETIMES THREE TIMES BEFORE YOU GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THE HILL. THIS IS AN ONGOING PROBLEM THAT STARTED IN APRIL OF 2020. THE BACKUP CAMERA STOPPED WORKING AND IT WAS COMPLETELY REPLACED AND IT STILL DOES NOT WORK.

MY VEHICLE WAS SERVICED FOR A WIDE SPREAD FAULTY DOOR LATCH RECALL IN 2016 AND WAS REINSPECTED AGAIN THIS YEAR FOR THE ANOTHER DOOR LATCH RECALL. NOW MY PASSENGER FRONT DOOR LATCH IS FAULTY CAUSING MY DOOR TO NOT CLOSE AT ALL. THE CUTTER FORD DEALER ON OAHU IS TELLING ME EVEN THOUGH MY DOOR LATCH IS FAULTY, IT'S NOT COVERED BY THE RECALL AND I WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR IT TO BE REPLACED. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? AFTER HAVING MY DOOR LATCHES REPLACED FOUR YEARS AGO DUE TO A RECALL, THEY ARE NOW FAULTY AGAIN FOUR YEARS LATER. DOES ANOTHER RECALL NEED TO BE ISSUED TO REPLACE THE DOOR LATCHES USED IN THE ORIGINAL RECALL. WHILE DRIVING I SMELLED A FAINT WHIFF OF GASOLINE, MOMENTS LATER THE CAR BEGAN FILLING UP WITH SMOKE THAT SPILLED IN THROUGH THE HEATER VENTS. THERE WAS ALSO SMOKE THAT WAS COMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD. MY HUSBAND & I JUMPED OUT OF THE CAR TO RUN TO SAFETY AND I SAW FIRE UNDER THE FRONT END OF THE CAR. ONCE THE FIRE FIGHTERS ARRIVED AND EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE WE WERE TOLD IT LOOKS LIKE THE ENGINE HAD CAUGHT ON FIRE.

I FEEL FORD SHOULD HAVE FIXED THIS FOR FREE SINCE IT WAS OBVIOUSLY FIXED WITH A FAULTY PART 2 YEARS AGO OR IT WOULDNT HAVE HAPPENED. THIS MAY CAUSE THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTER CABLE TO NOT BE ABLE TO FULLY MOVE THE TRANSMISSION TO THE SELECTED GEAR POSITION. IF THE DRIVER ATTEMPTS TO SHIFT TO PARK IN THIS CONDITION, THE TRANSMISSION MAY NOT BE IN PARK POSITION EVEN THOUGH THE SHIFTER POSITION INDICATES THE VEHICLE IS IN PARK, AND THE "TRANSMISSION NOT IN PARK" WARNING MAY NOT APPEAR. VEHICLE DOES NOT TURN ON RIGHT AWAY AND STARTER CONTINUOUSLY CLICKS UNTIL VEHICLE COMPUTER RESPONDS TO START, KEY FAUB IS THE ONLY WAY I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO START THE VEHICLE AFTER THIS EVENT OCCURS. SOMETIMES THE COMPUTER GETS SO JAMMED UP THAT I MUST COMPLETELY DISCONNECT THE BATTERY AND HARD RESTART THE COMPUTER. WHEN THE ISSUE OCCURS THE VEHICLE CANNOT BE STOPPED AND WILL CONTINUOUSLY MOVE BACKWARDS UNTIL IT STOPS ON ITS OWN, IT HITS SOMETHING, OR THE VEHICLE CAN BE STARTED AGAIN. THIS DID HAPPEN TO ME WHILE I WAS PARKED ON A SLIGHT INCLINE AND MY CAR STOPPED AFTER IT ROLLED IN TO A PARKED CAR, LUCKILY NO DAMAGE OCCURED. AND ANOTHER THING IS THE SEAT BELT, THE REAR MIDDLE SEAT OF MY VEHICLE WHEN INSTALLING A CHILD SAFETY SEAT THE MIDDLE SEAT BELT GOT ALL JAMMED UP AND WOULD NOT WORK AT ALL. THE DEALERSHIP IS GREAT, ITS FORD CORPORATE THAT IS THE PROBLEM. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY RECALL THAT NEEDS ACTION RIGHT AWAY. WE HAVE BEEN WITHOUT A CAR FOR OVER 2 WEEKS. THE NEXT DAY, BOTH PASSENGER SIDE DOORS PROCEEDED NOT TO CLOSE DUE TO FAULTY LATCHES, SO WE TOOK THE CAR TO OUR LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP SERVICE CENTER AND TURNS OUT THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE LATCHES (FYI, WE WERE IN JUST TWO WEEKS PREVIOUSLY FOR SERVICE WITHOUT ANY MENTION OF THE RECALL -- ANOTHER SAFETY ISSUE, AS WE HAD OUR DOG IN THE BACKSEAT, AND WE HAD TO USE HER LEASH TO TIE THE DOOR SHUT SO SHE WOULD FLY OUT OF THE DOOR THAT WOULDN'T CLOSE). AFTER RESEARCHING, IT TURNS OUT FORD HAS ADMITTED PROBLEMS CONCERNING THIS ISSUE AND ALLOWED FOR A ONE TIME REPAIR FOR 10 YEARS OR 150,000 MILES. HOWEVER, BOTH SERVICE CENTER AND REGIONAL MANAGEMENT HAVE CLAIMED THAT OUR CAR DOES NOT MEET REQUIREMENTS BASED ON VIN. HOW CAN THIS BE? IF WE HAVE THE ISSUE, THEN THE ISSUE IS PRESENT IN OUR CAR. MAKING US THE PROFIT CENTERS FOR A KNOWN, BORDERLINE RECALL/SAFETY PROBLEM THAT HAS BEEN ADDRESSED IS ABSURD AND UNBELIEVABLE TO ME AT THIS POINT. WHILE DRIVING THESE ISSUES DISTRACT THE DRIVER FROM PAYING ATTENTION TO THE ROAD AND CAN CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. THIS HAPPENS NO MATTER IF THE VEHICLE IS STATIONARY OR AT ANY SPEED. FORD IS AWARE OF THIS ISSUE BUT SO FAR HAS FAILED TO ADDRESS IT . IN THE FORD FOURMS THERE ARE PROMISES OF A NEW UPDATE SOON B BUT SO FAR NOTHING HAS HABBENED. AT AN OUTSIDE FUNCTION, LOADED MY 2 YEAR OLD IN THE BACK SEAT THEN PUT MY BAGS ON FRONT PASSENGER SIDE. SHUT THE DOOR ONLY TO FIND OUT IT IS NO LONGER LATCHING SO MY FRONT PASSENGER DOOR WILL NOT CLOSE AT ALL. IT WAS A SATURDAY JUST BEFORE NOON. CONTACTED 3 DEALERS ALL OF WHOM TOLD ME TO DRIVE MY CAR TO THEM BUT THEY WOULDN'T EVEN LOOK AT IT UNTIL MONDAY. NONE HAVE PART AVAILABLE AS THIS ISSUE IS ACTUALLY A RECALL. TOLD THEM IT WOULD BE UNSAFE TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE, LET ALONE WITH A TODDLER IN THE BACKSEAT. THEY ALL SAID THEY COULDN'T TOW IT UNLESS I PAID THE TOW BILL. ONE SUGGESTED I HOLD THE DOOR CLOSED WHILE DRIVING IT TO THEM. THE OTHER ADVISED I NEEDED TO FIND A PIECE OF ROPE TO TIE IT CLOSED. NO ONE KNOWS HOW LONG BEFORE IT IS ABLE TO BE REPAIRED. THEY'VE ALL SUGGESTED I DROP IT OFF UNTIL IT CAN BE REPAIRED BUT NONE CAN OFFER A RENTAL. THIS IS EXTREMELY UNACCEPTABLE. MY HUSBAND AND I BOTH WORK AND WE HAVE TWO SMALL CHILDREN. I ASKED WHAT I WOULD DO IN THE EVENT THAT IT RAINED BECAUSE THE INSIDE OF MY CAR WOULD GET WET. SO FOR NOW I'M STUCK AT HOME WITH A VEHICLE THAT IS USELESS WITH NO SOLUTION IN SITE. NOT TO MENTION THIS IS THE 4TH RECALL ON MY CAR!!! I WILL NEVER OWN ANOTHER FORD!!!!

MY PASSENGER FRONT DOOR WOULDN'T SHUT, IN THE RAIN, AT THE STORE, I HAD TO LEAVE IT OPEN AND UNLOCKED AND HAVE MY HUSBAND PHYSICALLY HAD TO HOLD THE DOOR SHUT. AFTER SLAMMING IT PROBABLY OVER 100 TIMES, WE GOT IT SHUT, WE HAVE THE SEAT BELT HOLDING IT SHUT. THIS IS A HUGE CONCERN FOR ME, I HAVE A 2 YEAR OLD AND 1 YEAR OLD WHAT IF THIS HAPPENED TO THEIR DOOR AND NO ONE COULD HAVE HELD THE DOOR SHUT GOING DOWN THE ROAD, OR A GUST OF WIND WOULD HAVE HAPPENED, ETC. AFTER PURCHASE OF FORD FUSION 2013 FROM NORTHAMPTON FORD NORTHAMPTON, MA 01060 FOR SEVERAL MONTHS AIR BAG LIGHT WOULD COME ON AND GO OFF AT DIFFERENT SPEEDS INCLUDING THE ALARM BELL EVEN ON HIGHWAY. THEY FINALLY TOOK IT IN AND SAID IT WAS A ELECTRICAL HOUSING UNDER SEAT. I NO LONGER TRUST THIS CAR BECAUSE THE NUMBER OF RECALLS ANS REPORTED TROUBLES ABOUT MAKE AND MODEL, MAINLY AIR BAG. WHEN I CALLED DEALERSHIP REPAIR CENTER THEY WERE RUDE AND CONTINUE TO STATE DO NOT HAVE PARTS TO FIX RECALLS. I FEEL FORD OR THE DEALERSHIP SHOULD BUY MY CAR BACK FOR WHAT I OWE, IT IS A LEMON. I NO LONGER TRUST THE PRODUCT TO HAVE MY SON DRIVE IT.

I DRIVE A 2013 FORD FUSION, WHICH I PURCHASED NEW FROM AN AUTHORIZED FORD DEALERSHIP. BY 3772 MILES, THE CAR BEGAN TO DOWNSHIFT VIOLENTLY, UPSHIFT AROUND 6 OR 7 THOUSAND RPMS, NOT SHIFT AT ALL, THE HEATED SEAT WOULD COME ON BY THEMSELVES WITH NO INDICATOR LIGHTS, THE TRANSMISSION GEAR INDICATOR LIGHT STAYS ON WHEN THE CAR IS OFF AND NO KEY INSIDE, THE RADIO TURNS ON AND OFF AT WILL WHEN THE CAR IS PARKED AND LOCKED UP, A SEVERE ODOR OF MILDEW COMES FROM THE A/C WHEN FIRST COMES ON, THE TRIM MOLDING KEEPS COMING OFF, THE CAR HAS LOST A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF POWER, THE LED LIGHTS IN THE TAIL LIGHTS STAY ON ALL NIGHT EVEN AFTER THE CAR IS TURNED OFF, AND ETC. THESE PROBLEMS ARE INCONSISTENT IN NATURE WITH NO IDENTIFIABLE CONDITIONS CAUSING THE SERIES OF NON-CONFORMITIES. FORD MOTOR COMPANY HASN'T BEEN ABLE TO FIX THE CAR AFTER NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS. NOW THAT I AM AWARE, I TURN THE SYSTEM OFF; HOWEVER, THE STEERING WHEEL PUTS UP A GOOD FIGHT WHEN I TRIED TO PROVIDE THE CYCLISTS ROOM--AN UNNECESSARY ISSUE THAT COULD OF CAUSED SERIOUS BODILY HARM OR DEATH. 2. THE VEHICLE DOES NOT GET THE MPG AS PROMISED ON THE STICKER: A GREAT DEAL OF UNNECESSARY MONEY WAS LOST. 3. THE ELECTRICAL A/C UNIT NO LONGER GENERATES COLD AIR, BUT THE FAN STILL RUNS.
