Coolant intrusion from a defective engine block.
The transmission failed completely. The vehicle will not engage or shift properly and cannot be driven. The failed transmission is still installed in the vehicle and available for inspection upon request.
The transmission is idle high and hard and yes it is available for inspection My safety and the safety of other is the car jerks and it accelerate unvoluntary Yes it was confirmed by a certified mechanic No it have not been inspected my manufacturer or others No there is no warning lights or messages that prior to failure
Vehicle flexplate broke causing loss of power in rush hour traffic. Luckily was able to get to the side of the road without major incident or causing an accident. Broken flexplate also caused damage to transmission and ptu. Was informed this is a common issue wiith this yeat make and model but ford refuses to do anything about it. They would rather wait for some peopke to lose their life befor takiing responsibility. But who cares about peoples lives when you have stockholders to pay and ceo bonuses to hand out. Feel its worth mentioning i had the car at the dealership a couple times for other issues and had asked them about problems i suspected were precursors to this happening. They denied there was even an issue. They they told me the noises were normal and refused to even document my concerns let alone actually physically check the vehicle. I believe they were intentionally trying to hide the fact they knew exactly what was going on. Ford needs to take responsibility but since they wont you guys need to make them.

Few of my friends are having the same issues especially with keyless entry pad it’s causing issues from water damage or heat causing the car to to this! Their needs to be recall on that cause kids doors aren’t locking properly I have kids I had someone almost steal my car cause my trunk was popped open by itself! Took the car in for a forced recall it was the bushing on the transmission and now our transmission failed when it had showed no problems. The service department is claiming no fault.
Complete loss of steering and transmission slips/shifts hard.
The flex plate on my vehicle was cracked. Which damaged the transmission pump. We heard what sounded like a box of rocks which quickly got louder and louder we took the car to the dealer the next day. We had no other warnings something was wrong no engine light or anything. Had this plate broken completely we likely would have crashed and our small children could have been hurt. We took it to our local Ford dealer who diagnosed the issue, but would want over $6000 to fix the issue, on top of the $225 we paid to get the issue diagnosed. So for the forseable future we have no safe vehicle.
I bought Ford Fusion Hybrid 2014 from Marine County Ford [XXX] (@51,000+ miles) The car was inspected & in “good condition”. In 5 months, 6/2022 (@61,000+ miles) I noticed a barely distinguishable noise. My mechanic discovered a tiny leak in transmission. There were NO leaks under car. This “tiny” leak took 2.0L of transmission fluid to fill, so the car was ALMOST OUT of transmission fluid. There was NO warning on the dashboard. Mechanic said the leak had to be 6-12 months old since the hole was small it had to take long time for all fluid to leak out. Same day while driving on FREEWAY, the vehicle suddenly started shaking and became almost uncontrollable, then Dashboard displayed “stop immediately”. I barely managed to steer it to the closest exit. It turned out the bearing (VERY small part) was completely destroyed & because of it the WHOLE unit needed to be replaced. It’s a huge unit 1/3 size of the car. Both dealer and FORD said the car was out of warranties (warranty issued only for 8 years/100,000 miles) not applicable @61,000 miles. They also denied coverage with extended 90 days warranty, even tho mechanic stated the leak was old. Ford has this transmission issue listed in their TSB which means it’s a KNOWN DEFECT to the dealer. The repair cost was 1/2 of car value. But Ford dealers do NOT disclose this. I did replace transmission in 8/2022, with my mechanic with the unit from used car with 54,000 miles on it, “tested and certified by the “SWEngines”, a national parts dealer. BUT that unit ALSO broke, also after 5 months, due to SAME defect of same bearing. The unit had apps. 65,000 miles. But I was watching it. I had to pay twice, for both units. This model represents DANGER on the road due to faulty transmissions that can break any time, without warning. Leaks in them are not easily detectable and even concealed by the cover absorbing oil. recall 19V632000 does not show up as a valid recall for my specific vehicle; however, it is at a Ford dealership now. the issue is bolts corroded, the steering gear motor is detached from the gear housing - just as described in the recall. My bolts disinigrated, corroded, and broke away. Can you please issue the recall to my specific vehicle

My torque converter is going out in my 2014 FORD FUSION SE and it caused me to almost get t-boned twice and hit in the rear once. I pull out of the driveway and it cuts off and won't move. No engine light was on and that's a safety hazard. The dealer is telling me to continue to drive it and if it does it again take a video. The vehicle is getting looked at tomorrow as I will show the video I took too the dealership and they will actually take me seriously. I was told it was low on transmission fluid which is why I began driving it again and it happened two more times while getting it to the dealership. This could cause a hazard to others on the road and myself, it could cause injury or even death. I was so scared getting stuck in the middle of the road of oncoming traffic.

My transmission has failed multiple times. Luckily my car is under warranty, because I have been able to have it replaced twice, but both times, these malfunctions have put my life and countless others in danger, because the failure is sudden and not preceded by any warnings. This problem has reproduced twice and been confirmed and fixed both times by Sun’s Auto in Spring Texas. The vehicle has been inspected recently by the manufacturer as my shifter bushings also disconnected as part of a separate recall, resulting in a similar situation as the transmission failure. There have been no warnings prior to any of these issues occurring, and at this point recalling individual parts is not sufficient. The transmission and shifter bushing issues alone cost more to repair than the car is worth at this point, and they are extremely dangerous, especially when combined with the other active safety recalls for this same car such as the brakes, door latches, and steering. Almost every aspect of this car is unsafe as manufactured .

Warning on dash instructed driver to immediately pull to the right. Pulling the car to the right to exit the freeway. The car struck a bridge barrier. The car would not move or restart. My daughter-in-law and my granddaughter were exposed to the interstate and put under extreme risk. The car has been at the Ford dealership for 11 months. It reportedly has a transmission issue. We had to pay out of pocket $8000 for the work on the.
Car was making a grinding noise, had it in the shop three times(independent service center), problem was never fixed. Car now needs a new transmission due to the bearing or shaft coming apart and now metal got into the trans. there is a TSB on that part so it must be a know problem. Car has 100,000 miles on it transmission and parts should last longer than that. Warning came on to pull over safely while Car was being driven and gas petal went all the way to the floor and car revered. Tried to put the car in park and it went into reverse, putting my daughter who was driving and everyone else on the road at risk. Problem confirmed by two ford dealerships.

As the contact pressed the accelerator the vehicle failed to accelerate causing the contact to have to coast to the stop light where they attempted to depress the brake pedal but the brakes failed to stop the vehicle. The vehicle was placed in park and restarted when it made a grinding noise and remained on cruise control. The emergency brake was then activated to stop the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to the contact's residence and then to the dealer where the contact towed the vehicle to the dealer who diagnosed that the front passenger side lower control arms ball joint was loose causing movement and the axle to move out of place. About a week ago I had to make a 2 hour drive and when I was close to my destination my check engine light came on and started flashing I hooked a code scanner up to it and it was cylender 4 misfire so I replaced the coil pack and the problem stopped. Today I was driving my car and the car stalled on me agian in a parking lot I put the car in park and I turned the car off and when I tryed to start the car agian it had a long crank and then it started i got to the intersection and the car stalled agian so I immediately repeated the steps and it started back up when I came threw the caution light so I could pull over the car stalled agian in the middle of moving traffic with my child in the car.we almost got hit by other vehicles trying to move to safety. The car gave a p000c6 code. Thankfully we made it to safety as this continues to be a issiue with this vehicle and there has been several recals I am requesting that ford fix this issiue

It literally does what the recall says and mine isn’t covered? It jumps between second gear. The brakes do not automatically start working for like 5 seconds after starting it, you feel like you will go out into the road because it will not stop. Hill assist light is Constantly coming on which triggers abs brakes light and service light to come on and looks like a damn Christmas tree because the dash has so many lights on at night. Transmission was previously slipping 200 miles prior, but I was on a road trip and unable to visit a mechanic for inspection. At a certain point, the engine temperature gauge began climbing to HOT and would only come down when the accelerator was released. Eventually, this remedy stopped working, and the car fully overheated.

2013: Purchased 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid SE. 2014: Transmission seal replaced by dealer after dashboard alert. After repair, car developed low-pitch whine. Dealer explained it was the battery charging. Nov 2021: Whine volume has increased. No dashboard alerts. Dealer says the transmission needs to be replaced. Dealer says transmission can fail at any time. I have stopped driving the vehicle because I don't want it to become disabled on the highway, possibly causing an accident.

While driving back home from work on 07/22/21, I heard a noise on the front side of the car and lost power. I had to pull over to a parking spot in an apartment complex. My car wasn't moving forward or backward, I called Good Sam road assistance to get it towed on Friday, it has been inspected in a repair shop since then and apparently is a transmission issue. Good thing is there were no cars behind or in front of me and avoided a collision.

I HAVE REPLACED THE IGNITION COILS, THE PIG TAIL, THE SPARK PLUGS, CHANGED TRANSMISSION FLUID, RECHECKED ALL THE CABLES, AND ONCE THE DEALER REPROGRAMMED THE PCM. IT HAS TO BE THE TRANSMISSION BUT BECAUSE IT IS INTERMITTENT THE DEALER CANT FIND ANYTHING WRONG. I ACTUALLY LOST POWER ONCE AT LOW SPEEDS AFTER THE TRANSMISSION SLIPPED AND DINGED A POLL CAUSING A DENT IN MY CAR. THANKFULLY I ONLY LOST POWER ONCE ON THE HIGH WAY AND NO ONE HIT ME. THE DEALER FOUND NO STORED DTCS FROM THE INCIDENT, BUT AFTER SIGNIFICANT TESTING, THE CAR SET P0570 - UNABLE TO MAINTAIN IDLE SPEED. DEALER SAYS IT IS A FAILING ELECTRONIC THROTTLE BODY BUT THAT IT IS NOT COVERED UNDER THE POWERTRAIN WARRANTY. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE AS IT FAILED WITHOUT WARNING AND COULD HAVE PUT US IN SERIOUS DANGER IF WE WERE ON A CROWDED INTERSTATE HIGHWAY. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING IT ANYWHERE BUT ON IN-TOWN TRIPS AND MAYBE ON LIGHTLY-TRAVELED BACK ROADS. MY CAR IS A 2014 FORD FUSION I PURCHASED AT THE DEALERSHIP 2 YEARS AGO. NEVER HAD A PROBLEM UNTIL RECENTLY. AFTER I TURN ON MY CAR AND SWITCH GEAR TO "DRIVE" MY CAR WILL SHUT DOWN WITHIN 20 FEET. I HAVE TO PARK THE CAR AND WAIT A FEW MINUTES AND TRY AGAIN; IT ALWAYS HAPPENS LATER ON DURING THE DAY WHEN DRIVING OFF A PARKING LOT. THE MAIN PROBLEM IS THAT THE "CHECK ENGINE" LIGHT NEVER COMES OF, BUT THERE IS CERTAINLY A PROBLEM WHEN THE CAR SHUTS DOWN ON IT'S OWN; IT NEVER SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING AT HIGH SPEED, BUT I AM TRULY CONCERN WITH THIS MATTER. I TOOK MY CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PROBLEM. I WAS ADVISED IT WILL COST ME $110.00 FOR A DIAGNOSTIC, WHICH I PAID. I WAITED FOR 4 HOURS AND ACCORDING TO THE MECHANIC THE ANTIFREEZE IS MIXING WITH THE ENGINE OIL AND THAT'S WHAT CAUSE THE CAR TO STALL OCCASIONALLY AND THE COST OF REPAIR WILL BE $2,100.00. WHEN I CHECKED THE CAR ALONG WITH A PERSONAL MECHANIC THERE IS NO INDICATION OF ANYTHING MIXING WITH THE ENGINE OIL, THE OIL IS CLEAN IS NOT MILKY AND IT SMELLS FINE. BOTTOM LINE I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE FACT THAT THERE IS NO RECALL FOR THIS SERIOUS ISSUE AND EVEN MORE SO THAT FORD DEALERSHIP WAS SO DISHONEST ABOUT THE CAR SYMPTOMS. I HAD AN ISSUE ON MY 14 FUSION. OF THE SHIFTER SEPARATING FROM THE TRANSMISSION. I NOTICED THE PROBLEM WHEN I SHIFTED MY CAR INTO THE PARK POSITION AND REMOVED MY FOOT FROM THE BREAK, ALLOWING MY CAR TO PULL FORWARD AGAIN. THANKFULLY I WAS IN A PARKING AREA WITH PLENTY OF ROOM. NO ONE WAS HURT AND NO PROPERTY DAMAGE WAS SUSTAINED. THIS PROBLEM LEAVES YOU WITH NO TRANSMISSION CONTROLS. FORD DOES HAVE A RECALL ON THE VERY PROBLEM MY CAR EXPERIENCED BUT, UNFORTUNATELY FOR ME MY CAR WAS NOT INCLUDED, LEAVING ME TO FIX THE PROBLEM MYSELF. FORD NEEDS TO EXPAND THE RECALL SINCE IT IS OBVIOUSLY A BIGGER PROBLEM THEN THEY BELIEVE WITH MY CAR HAVING THIS SAME FAILURE. THE LAST RECALL THEY FIXED ,SEATBELT ON FRONT PASSENGER, HAS ONLY HAD MORE ISSUES OF RETRACTING THEN BEFORE THE SERVICE, DOES MAKE ME WONDER IF IT'S NOT BETTER THAT I REPAIRED THE FAILURE PERSONALLY. IT FAILED AT 90K BUT I HAVE HAD NO MORE ISSUES AFTER A 20 DOLLAR REPAIR.

THIS MECHANIC ADVISED THAT THE INTERCOOLER WAS MORE THAN LIKELY LEAKING COOLANT INTO THE INTAKE AND WAS BEING BURNED UP INSIDE THE MOTOR. HE ADVISED TO WATCH THE COOLANT LEVEL AND SEE IF VEHICLE CONTINUES TO DISAPPEAR WITH NO LEAKS SEEN. HE ADVISED IF IT CONTINUES TO DISAPPEAR TAKE IT TO A FORD HOUSE TO CHECK BECAUSE IT COULD CATCH ON FIRE. COOLANT CONTINUED TO DISAPPEAR SO WE TOOK IT TO AUTO NATION FORD. I'M ASSUMING THIS VEHICLE NEEDS TO CATCH ON FIRE LIKE THE OTHER ECOBOOST TEND TO DO OR IS THERE A POSSIBILITY FOR SOMEONE TO BE PROCATIVE BEFORE A TRAGEDY. I REMOVED MY IGNITION KEY FROM THE CAR AFTER PARKING AND PUTTING THE SHIFTER INTO THE PARK POSITION, BUT THE CAR BEGAN ROLLING BACKWARDS. I HAD TO IMMEDIATELY APPLY THE EMERGENCY BRAKE TO STOP MY CAR FROM HITTING ANOTHER CAR. I RESEARCHED ONLINE AND DISCOVERED THAT THERE WAS A RECALL ISSUED ON MY YEAR MAKE AND MODEL CAR FOR THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM THAT I AM HAVING. HOWEVER, I CONTACTED FORD AND THEY INDICATED THAT THERE IS NO CURRENT RECALL ON MY CAR FOR THIS ISSUE, AND YET MY CAR WAS MANUFACTURED DURING THE TIME OF THE NOTED DEFECTS. THE IGNITION COULD BE TURNED OFF, AND STEERING LOCKED WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN "NEUTRAL", ESSENTIALLY FREE WHEELING UNLESS USING THE BRAKES. THE VEHICLE ENGINE COULD BE STARTED AND EMERGENCY BRAKE RELEASED WITHOUT INDICATION OR WARNING THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS IN "NEUTRAL". WITHIN 30 SECONDS I WAS ABLE TO REFERENCE TONS OF INFO REGARDING THIS PROBLEM FOR MY MAKE AND MODEL ON THE NHTSA SITE. I CONTACTED FORD CORPORATE WHO GAVE ME A CASE NUMBER "CAS15602249". I REACHED BACK OUT TO THE DEALER, WHO STATED THAT THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO, AND THAT THEY WOULD BE HAPPY TO PAY, AND THIS WAS NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. THE PART NUMBER IS THE SAME FOR THE DEFECTIVE PART FOR MY MODEL AND THE MODELS REFERENCED, I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW THIS IS NOT A SAFETY ISSUE. PLEASE HELP.

IT WILL SPUTTER, THE RPM NEEDLE RAPIDLY FLUCTUATES ABOVE 1 AND UNDER 1, AND THEN WILL JUST GO TO 0. AT ALL TIMES I AM DRIVING AT LOW SPEEDS, BUT NUMEROUS TIMES I WAS EITHER DRIVING INTO A BUSY STREET OR IT STALLED IN AN INTERSECTION WHERE I OR OTHER PEOPLE COULD HAVE BEEN SERIOUSLY INJURED. THIS HAS HAPPENED ABOUT 10 TIMES IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS, BUT IT IS VERY RANDOM. SOME DAYS WILL GO BY WITHOUT A HITCH AND OTHER DAYS IT WILL HAPPEN 2 OR 3 TIMES. MOST OF THE TIME WHEN IT HAPPENS, IT HAPPENS AGAIN RIGHT AFTER. SO I WILL PUT THE CAR IN PARK, COMPLETELY SHUT IT OFF, AND TURN IT BACK ON, IT WILL DRIVE FOR LIKE 5-10FT AND THEN DO IT AGAIN. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP, AND THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT FIND AN ISSUE. THE DID A FEW TEST DRIVES AND LET IT SIT AND RUN FOR AWHILE, AND THE CAR DIDN'T STALL. THERE IS NO ENGINE LIGHT ON, SO THEY SAID THEY CAN NOT DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM, UNLESS THEY SEE IT FOR THEMSELVES. THIS IS VERY CONCERNING TO ME AS I AM SCARED TO DRIVE, KNOWING THAT IT COULD STALL AND I COULD GET IN AN ACCIDENT. I ALSO DRIVE FOR A RIDE SHARING COMPANY, AND IT IS TOO RISKY FOR ME TO PICK UP PASSENGERS KNOWING SOMETHING COULD HAPPEN, AND I WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE. I STARTED TO EXPERIENCE HARSH GEAR SHIFT ON DECEMBER 13, 2015 EVERY TIME I PUT THE CAR IN REVERSE. ALSO, WHEN I REACHED 20MPH AND 40MPH I FELT THE HARSH GEAR SHIFT AND THE CAR WOULD JERK FORWARD. THE TECHNICIAN WASN'T THERE TO CHECK OUT THE CAR IN ORDER TO DETERMINE IF IT WAS MECHANICAL OR NOT, BUT THEY DID THE WORK ON THE CAR ANYWAY AND ON DECEMBER 16, 2015, THE DEALER CALLED TO SAY THE CAR WAS READY. IT WAS VERY OBVIOUS THEY DID NOT TEST DRIVE THE CAR AFTER SUPPOSEDLY REPAIRING THE MOUNT BECAUSE MY CAR WAS DOING THE SAME THING, EXCEPT WORSE. WHEN I TOOK IT BACK THE NEXT DAY, THE TECHNICIAN WAS THERE AND SAID IT IS A MECHANICAL PROBLEM. I ASKED FOR A LOAN SINCE THEY SAID A PART HAD TO BE ORDERED AND THEY WOULD NEED TO KEEP MY CAR FOR A FEW DAYS AND I WAS TOLD I COULDN'T GET A LOANER. INSTEAD, THE DEALER SAID MY CAR WAS DRIVABLE AND DID DELIVER GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. IT FELT AS THOUGH HE WAS TRYING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE AND NOT TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMER. THEN HE PROCEEDED TO TELL ME THERE MIGHT BE A FURTHER PROBLEM, BUT COULD NOT TELL ME WHAT IT WAS. I AM EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED WITH FORD. I HAD THE CAR SINCE MARCH 2014 AND SHOULDN'T BE EXPERIENCING A TRANSMISSION PROBLEM LESS THAN 2 YEARS LATER. THERE WAS ALSO A RECALL ON THE STEERING BOLTS AND I DIDN'T RECEIVE NOTIFICATION OF THE RECALL.

I HAD THE ENGINE CHECKED FOR NOISE; MECHANICS AT OPELIKA FORD AL STATED IT MAY BE MY FUEL RAIL AND FUEL FILTER WHICH MAY BE CAUSING CABLING BEHIND THE FIREWALL TO RATTLE. IF THAT IS THE CASE I SHOULD HEAR THE HARD KNOCK WHILE IN REVERSE OR PARK. THEY STATED THEY TIED BOTH DOWN INCLUDING THE CABLES TO SEE IF THE NOISE SUBSIDED (TOOK THEM TEN MINUTES TO DO THIS WHICH IS QUIET FAST TO ACCESS THE FUEL RAIL AND FILTER WHEN THE AREA IS TIGHT TO ACCESS IN ORDER TO TIE CABLES DOWN). I ALSO HAD THE TRANSMISSION CHECKED; THEY STATED NOTHING IS WRONG WITH TRANSMISSION. I GOT IT CHECKED BECAUSE OF THE KNOCK AND THE TRANSMISSION JERKED HARD INTO SECOND AND THIRD GEAR. ALSO STARTED TO IDLE HARD (THIS IS AROUND 21000 MILES). THEY MAY HAVE RE-FLASHED THE TRANSMISSION BUT NO MECHANIC CAME AND SPOKE TO ME ABOUT IT. I ALSO ASKED FOR THE TRANSMISSION SOFTWARE TO BE UPDATED. NOT SURE IF THEY DID THAT EITHER. THE CAR STILL IDLES A BIT ROUGH FROM TIME TO TIME. THE ISSUE IS STILL ON GOING AND I AM IN SEARCH OF A "FORD CERTIFIED MECHANIC" TO ACTUALLY SHOW ME WHAT IS WRONG SO IT CAN BE COVERED BY WARRANTY. ON 6/4/2015 AT 7AM I HAD JUST DROPPED MY SON OFF AT HIS DAYCARE FACILITY. WHILE TRYING TO PULL OUT OF FACILITY PARKING LOT AND ONTO THE MAIN ROAD, MY CAR COMPLETELY LOST POWER ALMOST CAUSING A HORRIFIC ACCIDENT WITH ONCOMING TRAFFIC ON A TWO WAY ROAD. AFTER THE HORRIBLE SCARE AND MANY PEOPLE HONKING AND ANGRY AT ME AS IF I HAD DONE IT PURPOSELY, I WAS ABLE TO MOSTLY PULL OVER ON THE SIDE ROAD. I TURNED OFF THE CAR AND THEN TURNED IT BACK ON AND I WAS ABLE TO MOVE THE CAR AGAIN BUT BY PUSHING GAS PEDAL ALL THE WAY DOWN AND GETTING PAST 2000RPM. EVERY TIME I CAME TO A STOP IT WAS THE SAME SCENARIO. SINCE THE DEALERSHIP WAS NOT YET OPEN, I MANAGED TO MAKE IT TO WORK AND CALLED THEM IMMEDIATELY AT 8 AM TO TELL THEM WHAT I HAD EXPERIENCED. INFORMED THEM OF THE POWER TRAIN FAULT MY CAR WAS GIVING ME AND ASKED IF THEY BELIEVED IT WAS SAFE TO DRIVE IT TO THE DEALER WHEN I GOT OFF OF WORK. THE SERVICE ADVISOR TOLD ME THAT I SHOULD BE FINE AND TO DROP OFF THE CAR AS SOON AS I GOT OFF. WHILE GETTING IN MY CAR THAT AFTERNOON, I NOTICED THAT IT GOT CONSIDERABLY WORSE. MY CAR STARTED BUCKING FORCEFULLY WHEN COMING TO A STOP AND AT THIS POINT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ALSO CAME ON. I HAVE ONLY HAD THIS CAR FOR A LITTLE OVER YEAR AND IT HAS 25K MILES ON IT. THERE IS NO REASON TO BE EXPERIENCING SUCH TROUBLE WITH A BRAND NEW CAR. SLOWLY BUT SURELY I MADE IT TO THE DEALER AND ALMOST IMMEDIATELY THE TECHNICIAN KNEW THAT IT WAS THE TRANSMISSION. A FEW DAYS AT THE SHOP TURNED INTO A WEEK, THEN A WEEK TURNED INTO TWO WEEKS, AND NOW TWO WEEKS HAS TURNED INTO THREE WEEKS AND THE CAR IS STILL NOT FIXED. IM TOLD OF THE MANY PARTS ORDERED ONE IS ON NATIONAL BACK ORDER WHICH MAKES ME EXTREMELY CONCERNED AND UNFORTUNATELY EXTREMELY UNSAFE TO EVEN DRIVE THE CAR AGAIN. I HAVE HAD ACCELERATION/ DECELERATION ISSUES SINCE I TOOK DELIVERY OF THE VEHICLE IN JANUARY 2014, THE ISSUES ARE INTERMITTENT AND HAPPEN AT VARIOUS RPM AND VARIOUS SPEEDS. IVE HAD THE VEHICLE AT THE DEALERSHIP 3 TIMES FOR THE SAME ISSUE THEY HAVE TOLD ME 3 TIMES THAT THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE. THE PROBLEMS ARE AS FOLLOWS....WHEN SHIFTING GEARS THE ACCELERATOR WILL OCCASIONALLY STICK AND HOLD THAT HIGHER RPM FOR 5 OR 6 SECONDS BEFORE DECELERATING, THIS HAPPENS APPROX. 50% OF THE TIME WHILE SHIFTING. THE DEALER TELLS ME THAT THIS IS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN THIS WAY. MY RESPONSE IS... IF IT IS SUPPOSED TO PERFORM THIS WAY THEN WHY DOESN'T IT PERFORM THIS WAY ALL THE TIME RATHER THAN 50% OF THE TIME? THE SECOND ACCELERATION/ DECELERATION ISSUE IS....THE CAR WILL RANDOMLY ACCELERATE TO 5500- 6000 RPM, THIS HAS HAPPENED WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH IN 6TH GEAR IT HAS ALSO HAPPENED WHILE SHIFTING BETWEEN GEARS. I TURNED ON MY HAZARDS AND WAS FORCED TO PULL OVER TO THE SIDE, PLACE THE CAR IN PARK AND RESTART THE IGNITION AND CONTINUE ON. I CALLED ABOUT THE ISSUE AS SOON AS THE FORD DEALERSHIP OPENED THE NEXT DAY. THEY TOLD ME TO BRING IT RIGHT IN. HOWEVER, THE PROBLEM HAPPENED AGAIN BEFORE I HAD A CHANCE TO BRING IT IN. I WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY WHEN I WAS TRYING TO PASS AN 18 WHEELER. I SUCCESSFULLY PASSED THE TRUCK, BUT AFTER I DID, THE POWER SHUT OFF AGAIN AND I WAS SANDWICHED BETWEEN TWO 18 WHEELERS.THE NEXT DAY, I BROUGHT THE VEHICLE INTO THE DEALERSHIP. THEY TOOK IT OFF MY HANDS FOR ABOUT A WEEK WHILE THEY TESTED IT FOR PROBLEMS. I RECEIVED A CALL AND THE REPRESENTATIVE SAID THAT THEY FIXED A CABLE THAT APPEARED TO BE LOOSE THAT MIGHT HAVE LED TO THE PROBLEM, AND ALSO GAVE THE CAR A SOFTWARE UPDATE. I CALLED THE FORD CARE TEAM AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD OPEN A CASE FOR A BUYBACK.ON SEPT 23, I RECEIVED A VOICEMAIL FROM THE DEALERSHIP SAYING THAT THEY COULD NOT FIX THE VEHICLE BECAUSE WHEN THEY TESTED IT WAS FUNCTIONING AS IT SHOULD. THEY CAN AND WILL NOT FIX OR REPLACE THE VEHICLE. *TR

I HAD MY 2014 FORD FUSION BROUGHT TO WALMART FOR AN OIL CHANGE ON JULY 11, 2014. THE TECHNICIANS COMMENT ON THE SERVICE ORDER/RECEIPT STATED TRANSMISSION IS LEAKING. THE TECHNICIAN INVITED TO THEIR WORK AREA AND SHOWED ME THE LEAK. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP I BOUGHT MY CAR FROM TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT. I DROPPED OFF THE CAR TO THEM ON JULY 28, 2014 AROUND 5:00 PM. ON THE FOLLOWING DAY, I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THEM TELLING ME THAT THE CAR WAS FIXED. THE PROBLEM WAS THE ? LEFT FRONT AXLE SEAL LEAKS. RESEARCHING ON THE INTERNET, I FOUND OUT THIS IS NOT REALLY AN ISOLATED CASE. FOR SOME REASON, I NOW HAVE A FEELING THAT THIS MAY NOT BE THE LAST TIME I WILL BE DEALING WITH THIS PROBLEM SINCE ONLY THE SEAL WAS REPLACED. *TR

WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH THE CAR STALLED AND I GOT A WARNING MESSAGE STATING 'TRANSMISSION IS IN PARK'. I WAS ABLE TO COAST TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. PUT ON MY FLASHERS, PUT THE CAR IN PARK AND TURNED IT OFF. I TURNED IT BACK ON AND THE MESSAGE WAS GONE AND IT GOT ME HOME. TOOK IT TO BOWEN SCARFF FORD ON 6/26, THEY KEPT IT OVERNIGHT AND SAID NOTHING SHOWED UP ON THEIR DIAGNOSTIC TESTS AND GAVE IT BACK SAYING NOTHING IS WRONG WITH IT. THE CAR STALLED. HAD I BEEN ON A HIGHWAY OR A MIDDLE LANE I MOST LIKELY WOULD HAVE BEEN HIT. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS BRAND NEW CAR. AND THE FORD DEALER JUST GAVE IT BACK TO ME. *TR
