THE DEALER KEPT TELLING HIM THAT THE PARTS WOULD BE IN WITHIN 2 TO 3 WEEKS. WHEN THE ENGINE WAS TURNED OFF, THE CONTACT SMELLED A STRONG BURNING ODOR COMING FROM THE DRIVER SIDE OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE BATTERY WAS DISCONNECTED AND THE DEALER REPLACED THE HARNESS AGAIN, ALONG WITH AN ADAPTER. WHEN THE HARNESS WAS REPLACED, THERE WAS BRAKE FLUID ALL OVER THE WIRES. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE PISTON STUCK IN THE REAR DRIVER SIDE BRAKE SYSTEM AND CAUSED FLUID TO LEAK. NO REPAIRS WERE MADE BECAUSE THE MANUFACTURER WOULD NOT AUTHORIZE A FREE REPAIR. THERE WAS NO BRAKE FAILURE. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 14,557.
