A/C COMPRESSOR BEARINGS FROZE CAUSING DRIVE BELT TO EMIT ACRID SMOKE THAT FILLED THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT (HAPPENED ON ORIGINAL AND AGAIN ON REPLACEMENT). TEMP GAUGE SHOWED FLUCTUATING TEMPERATURE UNTIL BEARINGS FROZE COMPLETELY (HAPPENED WITH 2 DIFFERENT COMPRESSORS). PARKING BRAKE RELEASED CAUSING CAR TO ROLL INTO NEIGHBORS VEHICLE, CAUSING DAMAGE (PARKING BRAKE HANDLE WAS IN THE UP POSITION WITH NO TENSION FELT WHEN THE PARKING BRAKE WAS MOVED TO THE DOWN POSITION.)

BAUGHT CAR IN AUGUST OF 2000, DROVE IT ONE WEEK AND IT HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP NUMEROUS TIMES FOR VARIOUS ITEMS FIXED; IE; OVERHEATED TWICE THEN BLEW HEADGASKET, DRIVERS REAR ROTOR CAUGHT ON FIRE, RECALL ON HOOD WHICH WAS SEPARATING, MAJOR FUEL LEAK, FUEL HOSE BY FUEL TANK, WATER LEAK FROM TIMING COVER GASKET
THIS ENGINE IS THE SAME AS THE TAURUS AND WINDSTAR. BOTH VEHICLES ENGINES HAVE BULLITINS ON THEIR HEAD GASKET PROBLEMS. THE MUSTANG HAS THE SAME PROBLEMS BUT FORD REFUSES TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS. I RUN SYNTHETIC OIL IN THIS CAR AND HAVE CHANGED THE ANTIFREEZE EVERY 20000 MILES. I CHANGE THE OIL AT 3000 MILES RELIGIOUSLY . THIS IS THE ONLY REASON IT HAS LASTED THIS LONG. I HAVE ALSO HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE A/C BRAKE ROTORS AND REAR DIFFERENTIAL. FORD NEEDS TO ADDRESS THIS PROBLEM, AND QUITE MAKING EXCUSES.RRESS/CYTRH
WHILE TRAVELING 45 MPH ON WET PAVEMENT& TRYING TO AVOID AN ACCIDENT BY DEPRESSING THE BRAKES, VEHICLE WENT INTO A SKID, CAUSING CONSUMER TO BE APART OF THE ACCIDENT.DALER HAS BEEN NOTIFED. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMTAION. *AK

CONSUMER WAS DRIVING AWAY FROM STOP LIGHT WHEN SHE SAW A VEHICLE 5 CARS UP AHEAD, SHE BEGAN TO APPLY THE BRAKES AND VEHICLE NEVER SLOWED DOWN UNTIL SHE CRASHED INTO THE REAR END OF THE VEHICLE. SCHROEDERS BODY SHOP HAS VEHICLE TO REPAIR. THE HOOD AND FENDER /HEADLIGHTS. THE DEALERSHIP WILL BE LOOKING AT VEHICLE TO DETERMINE CAUSE OF BRAKE FAILURE. BOB BENNET FORD. *AK

ABS BRAKES ARE NOT SAFE AND IT TAKES A LOT OF EFFORT TO STOP VEHICLE, EVEN AFTER EXTENSIVE WORK HAD BEEN PROFORMED. *AK
BRAKES CAUSE VIBRATION WHEN APPLIED, REPAIRS TO COMPONENTS DID NOT RECTIFY VIBRATION.
VEHICLE SHAKES VIOLENTLY UPON APPLICATION OF BRAKES.

CONSUMER WAS DRIVING ON HIGHWAY WENT TO APPLY THE BRAKES FAILED HAVE ABS ANTI-LOCK BRAKE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG DEPLOYED AND CAUSED THE CONSUMER HAND TO BREAK.
UPON BRAKING @ 45 TO 50 MPH, BRAKES FAILED NOT RESPONDING. MASTER CYLINDER WAS EMPTY W/COPPER WASHER MISSING ON LEFT REAR. VEHICLE HAS ABS BRAKES. DESCRIBE. TT

ABS BRAKE SYSTEM DID NOT GRAB AFTER TRYING TO SLOW DOWN FROM 60MPH, ALMOST RESULTING IN ACCIDENT. TT
BRAKE MAKES NOISE TOOK BACK TO THE DEALER CHECKED IT OUT NOISE STOPPED NOW ITS BACK AND PASSENGER SEAT BELT LOCK UP AND WILL NOT RELEASE PASSENGER. TT
