when took the car for Pa. state inspection. was told it couldnt pass because of the struts in front end were bad and mustang where known for that and at the time the mileage was low, it now as 38000 plus miles,that was a couple of years ago that I was told that.mileage at that time 33969

IM HAVING A HARD TIME WITH MY CAR TO GET IT STARTED. IT TAKES ABOUT A MINUTE TO START IT. I TOOK IT TO AUTOZONE TO GET IT CHECKED AND THEY GAVE ME THE REPORT ISSUE THE REPORT SHOWS: P0607 CONTROL MODULE PERFORMANCE. ALSO I BEEN HAVING TO REFILL COOLANT BOX MORE OFTEN I BEALEIVE IT HAS A LEAK. IAM VERY CONCERNED ITS MY ONLY CAR AND I HAVE 2 KIDS THAT I HAVE TO DRIVE TO SCHOOL AND DAYCARE.

I AM REPORTING SHIMMY IN FRONT DUE TO STRUTS. I RESEARCHED AND NOTICED THE STRUTS ARE BEING RECALLED AND REPLACED FOR THIS MODEL OF FORD MUSTANG. I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THESE FRONT STRUTS REPLACED UNDER THE NHTSA RECAL, ALONG WITH A PASSENGER REAR TIRE MONITOR. I CAN NOT GET THE TIRE MONITOR LIGHT TO GO OFF. MY CELL NUMBER IS (XXXXX). ALSO THE PASSENGER AIR BAG IS NOT OPERATIVE PARTS OF THIS DOCUMENT HAVE BEEN REDACTED TO PROTECT PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

2007 FORD MUSTANG. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO VEHICLE TRANSMISSION MALFUNCTION. CONSUMER HAS PREVIOUS CORRESPONDENCE WITH 2 DIFFERENT VEHICLES WITH DIFFERENT ISSUES. *LD THE CONSUMER STATED THE TRANSMISSION MALFUNCTIONED. THE RADIO AMPLIFIERS LOST POWER WHILE THE RADIO WAS PLAYING AND THE CD SLOT WAS INOPERABLE. THE ENGINE FRONT CRANK OIL SEAL BLEW OUT, CAUSING THE ENGINE TO LEAK OIL WHILE DRIVING.THERE WAS A SCAR OR CUT ON TIMING COVER. THE BALL JOINTS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. *JS

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD MUSTANG. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 2 MPH IN A PARKING LOT, THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE CONTROL ARM DETACHED WITH A LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL. THE CONTACT PERFORMED A TEMPORARY REPAIR AND THE VEHICLE RESUMED NORMAL OPERATION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000.

THE 2007 MUSTANG PULLED OUT FROM THE SIDE-STREET IN FRONT OF AN OLDER CHEVY PICKUP AT A TEE INTERSECTION IN A SUBURBAN NEIGHBORHOOD WITH VERY RESTRICTED SIGHT DISTANCE, AND WAS T-BONED ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE BY THE PICKUP TRAVELLING AT AROUND 35 MPH. THE DRIVER'S SIDE OF THE MUSTANG WAS SEVERELY DAMAGED TO THE EXTENT THAT THE LEFT FRONT WHEEL/TIRE/SUSPENSION ASSEMBLY WAS RIPPED OFF THE CAR. THE POINT OF IMPACT WAS BETWEEN THE LEFT FRONT WHEEL AND THE MIDDLE OF THE DRIVER'S DOOR. THE MUSTANG IS A ONE-OWNER CAR WHICH WAS BOUGHT NEW AND WAS SPECIFICALLY PURCHASED WITH SIDE AIRBAGS (AN OPTION ON 2007 MUSTANGS). THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN WELL-MAINTAINED. THE AIRBAG TAB WAS VISIBLE ON THE SEAT SIDE BOLSTER. DESPITE THE SEVERITY OF THE IMPACT, THE SIDE AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY. WE HAVE PHOTOS DOCUMENTING THE POSITIONING OF THE VEHICLES AND THE DAMAGE TO THE MUSTANG, INCLUDING SHOWING THE SIDE AIRBAG TAB AND SIDE OF THE DRIVER'S SEAT WITH THE SIDE AIRBAG OBVIOUSLY NOT DEPLOYED. WE BELIEVE THAT THE SIDE AIRBAG WAS DEFECTIVE SINCE IT DID NOT DEPLOY. NOTE: THE STEERING WHEEL AIRBAG (SUBJECT TO THE TAKATA RECALL BUT NOT YET REPLACED) DID DEPLOY CORRECTLY.

I WAS FOLLOWING MY WIFE TO THE JEEP DODGE CHEROKEE DEALERSHIP TO GET HER RECALL TAKING CARE OF. ON THE WAY THERE AT THE OFF RAMP OF 575 AND RIVERSTONE PARKWAY I MADE A RIGHT TURN TO GET OFF ON THE RAMP TO EXIT AND I HEARD A LOUD THUD AND THE MOTOR ACCELERATED VERY LOUD AND ODD SOUNDING. I WAS UNABLE TO CONTROL THE VEHICLE. THE ONLY THING I COULD DO TO KEEP FROM RUNNING INTO ANYONE WAS SLAM ON THE BRAKES WHEN I DID THAT THE BREAKS GAVE A LOUD SCREECH AND WAS VERY SLOW TO STOP. I ENDED UP HITTING 3 CARS ON THE LEFT SIDE NONE OF THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED NOR DID ANY OF THE SEATBELT LOCK SO THE ONLY THING I HAD TO STOP ME FROM HITTING MY HEAD AGAINST THE STEERING WHEEL WAS TO PUT MY HANDS OUT IN FRONT OF ME ON THE STEERING WHEEL. WHEN THE IMPACT HAPPEN IT WAS SO FIERCE THAT MY RIGHT HAND GAVE OUT AND WAS SNATCHED OF THE STEERING WHEEL AND I DAMAGED MY RIGHT ARM ON THE STEERING WHEEL COLUMN. STILL KIND OF HURTS AND I STILL HAVE SCARS.

MY DAUGHTER WAS HIT BY ANOTHER PERSON AT FAULT, AND I HAD THE VEHICLE TAKEN TO THE SHOP TO GET REPAIRED, THE DEALER SHIP WOULDNOT FIX THE FRONT END /SUSPENSION OF MY MUSTANG, SAID WAS NOT ACCIDENT RELATED, THAT THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE SUSPENSION PARTS OF MY VEHICLE, I AM ONLY READING A RECALL ON 2006 BUT NOT 2007, BUT MY DAUGHTER IS HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THIS VEHICLE- REPAIR SHOP STATES I NEED STRUTS AND SUSPENSION PARTS REPLACED, AND A NEW PART THAT WAS NEEDED DUE TO RECALL. THE INSPECTIONS WERE DONE AT A FORD DEALER. EACH TIME THE COST IS OVER $500.00. FORD DID SPLIT THE COST AFTER I COMPLAINED ABOUT THE FIRST ISSUE. I OWN A 2007 MUSTANG GT. IT HAS LESS THAN 15 THOUSAND MILES ON IT. IT HAS FAILED INSPECTION (12/22/11) DUE TO THE DRIVER SIDE LOWER BALL JOINT BEING WORN OUT. THE CAR IS PULLING AND HAS A THUMPING NOISE. I CONTACTED FORD AND THEY E-MAILED ME THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: IN THE FUTURE, WHEN THE NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC AND SAFETY ADMINISTRATION (NHTSA) RELEASE A RECALL/CUSTOMER SATISFACTION PROGRAM ON THIS PARTICULAR COMPONENT, YOU WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND IF YOU ALREADY HAD THE REPAIRS COMPLETED AND IF NOT, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO HAVE THE REPAIR FREE OF CHARGE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE PROBLEM WAS WIDESPREAD. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED AND THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER AND FILED A COMPLAINT. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD MUSTANG. THE CONTACTED STATED THAT AFTER GETTING OUT OF HIS VEHICLE THERE WAS AN ODOR AND NOTICED THAT THE RIGHT REAR AXLE WAS A BRIGHT RED COLOR. HE IMMEDIATELY DROVE THE VEHICLE TO A DEALER WHO INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE BRAKE CALIPERS WERE PRESSED AGAINST THE ROTORS WHICH FRACTURED. THE RIGHT REAR ROTORS WERE REPAIRED. AFTER DRIVING THE VEHICLE 35 DAYS LATER THE FAILURE OCCURRED AGAIN. HE TOOK THE VEHICLE BACK IN FOR ANOTHER DIAGNOSTIC TEST BUT THEY WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE OR DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 24,000.

WHEN BROUGHT IN TO DEALER FOR REGULAR SERVICE, WAS INFORMED THAT BOTH FRONT LOWER BALL JOINTS ARE LOOSE. I HAD THE CAR FIXED THE DEALER GOT THE CAR AFTER AND CHANGED A FEW MORE PARTS THAT WENT BAD. FORD REFUSES TO PAY FOR THE BODY DAMAGE DONE BY THE DEFECTIVE PART. I STILL HAVE THE CONTROL ARM IN MY OFFICE FOR VIEWING.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD MUSTANG. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE CONTACT HEARD A LOUD CLUNKING NOISE. THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE DROPPED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT THE CONTROL ARM WAS BENT AND THE INNER WHEEL WELL AND FENDER WERE DAMAGED. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT IMPROPER WELDING OF THE CONTROL ARM TO THE BUSHING CAUSED THE FAILURE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS 6,700 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 6,500.

I HAD FILED A COMPLAINT A FEW WEEKS AGO ( ODI# 10192797) ABOUT THE POWER STEERING PUMP FAILURE ON MY 2007 MUSTANG GT WHICH HAD 270 MILES ON IT. THE DEALERSHIP REPLACED THE PUMP UNDER THE WARRANTY AND I HAD MENTIONED A PROBLEM WITH THE FRONT END ALSO. I RETURNED THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP AND TO MY DISMAY, WAS TOLD THAT THEY HAD TO REPLACE MY FRONT STRUTS, THEY EXPLAINED THAT THIS WAS THE CAUSE OF MY ALIGNMENT ISSUE. THEY FURTHER EXPLAINED TO ME THAT THEY THINK THAT WHILE MY CAR WAS BEING TRANSPORTED VIA TRAIN, THAT THEY TIED THE CAR DOWN TOO TIGHTLY CAUSING STRESS ON THE STRUTS AND CASTERS CAUSING THE ALIGNMENT AND STEERING WHEEL ISSUES. THE WORK HAS BEEN COMPLETED AND COVERED UNDER WARRANTY AND ALTHOUGH THE ALIGNMENT ISSUE HAS BEEN SOLVED AND THE STEERING WHEEL BACK IN ITS NORMAL POSITION I HAVE NOTICED A THUMPING NOISE FROM THE RIGHT FRONT WHEN GOING OVER BUMPS, ALMOST LIKE A BAD STRUT MOUNT OR SOMETHING. IN ALL FAIRNESS TO THE DEALERSHIP WHO IS FIXING MY CAR, THEY HAVE BEEN EXCELLENT WITH ME AND THIS HAS ALL BEEN COVERED UNDER WARRANTY . MY CAR NOW HAS 1,700 MILES ON IT AND AM WORRIED I MAY HAVE TO SWAP IT OUT FOR ANOTHER WHICH I REALLY DO NOT WANT TO DO AT THIS POINT, IT TOOK A LOT OF RESEARCH TO MIX AND MATCH ALL THE COLORS AND THE OPTIONS THAT MY CAR HAS. *TR
