I am filing this complaint regarding a vehicle I purchased from Florida Fine Cars in Miami Gardens on [XXX}. The vehicle is a Ford Mustang GT with a Roush supercharger (VIN: [XXX] ). Immediately after purchase, the car exhibited serious performance and safety issues that were never disclosed by the dealer. Within hours of driving home, the vehicle showed severe power loss, hesitation during acceleration, and loud mechanical noises at highway speeds. These issues were not detectable during the brief, low-speed test drive the dealership provided. Additionally, by the next morning, the car emitted a strong plastic or chemical odor under the hood, which intensified in the Florida heat — suggesting a possible engine, exhaust, or emissions-related fault. The dealer misrepresented the condition of the vehicle, repeatedly claiming it was “fully inspected” and “in excellent condition.” However, a certified Ford dealership technician later confirmed that the car “ran like garbage” and required immediate diagnostic attention. These defects are potentially safety-related, as they directly affect the engine’s performance, drivability, and emissions integrity. The vehicle could stall, lose power during acceleration, or emit toxic fumes. Florida Fine Cars has refused to take responsibility, despite clear evidence that the car was sold with undisclosed defects. Their actions constitute false advertising, misrepresentation, and a disregard for consumer safety. I urge NHTSA to record this complaint and investigate whether similar vehicles sold by Florida Fine Cars (or others with aftermarket superchargers) have unreported safety or emissions defects. This poses a serious risk to consumer safety and compliance with federal motor vehicle safety standards. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

When the car is going 70+ MPH the doors will unlatch and open if they are not held shut. This was a recall on earlier models but not the 2019.

The backup camera often is not available, or the screen is badly distorted, cuts in and out, or image looks like ghost. There was a recall for 2015 to 2018 Mustang, but my 2019 Mustang EcoBoost Convertible Premium does the exact same thing as the 2015 to 2018 Mustang. I took it to the dealer for repairs, and was told that it is not covered by the recall. I tried to fix the problem myself, but it still happens at times.

On several occasions, the passenger door becomes unlatched while driving. Sometimes multiple times in one commute. The door doesn't fully open, but certainly allows for wind noise and "DOOR AJAR" display to go off with audible alarms. Also, the passenger window's auto/short drop feature isn't working and the window does not go back up fully, allowing water, insects, and other hazards to enter the cabin of the vehicle. It seems to be an electrical issue, as unplugging the battery with the door open as the window is rolling down automatically will TEMPORARILY fix the issue. But, as soon as the door is opened, or the window is lowered, the issue reappears.

Jul 10, 2023

The short drop and bounce up on the drivers and passenger side windows continuously faults and fails to return to the proper position when the door is closed. There are thousand online with the same issue. I am now going to replace the passenger window motor for the third time since I cannot troubleshoot the issue any longer. The dealer has replaced the motor for the same issue and I am now out of warranty so I fix it myself. This seems to be a recurring issue on my car and for others with this generation mustang and should be addressed by Ford at this point Any assistance at this point would be greatly appreciated. Ahold not be happening as regularly as it is

Passenger door ajar on dash Then checked and seen door that was once completely closed had in fact unlocked itself and cracked open slightly after rolling over a normal bump on street. No one was in seat at the time but definitely could’ve put Passenger in danger or driver. Thankfully was not on freeway at the time. Problem has occurred 3 times so far in a two week period. Issue will be reported to dealer on the matter no later than 05/26/23 No other personnel has been informed, came to immediately alert nhtsa on the matter.

In the last 5 months I have had at least 3 incidents where the electronic dash goes blank, while driving. So far it had come back on within a short time. I took it to the dealer and they said they tried reprogramming it (but also said they found nothing wrong). The dealer said that reprogramming didn't fix it so they ordered a part. That was March 22, 2022 and the last time I heard anything from Brighton Ford - no idea if they ordered the part or did anything and no contact in over a month.
