On [XXX], multiple electrical systems on my 2024 Ford Mustang suddenly failed while the vehicle was in normal operation. The following systems stopped functioning: HVAC/climate control, heated seats, outside temperature display, rear turn signals, and blind spot monitoring. No prior warning lights were displayed before the failure. These failures significantly compromised safety because the rear turn signals and blind spot monitoring stopped working without warning while driving. Loss of exterior signaling and driver-assistance systems created a risk of collision. The lack of HVAC also created visibility concerns due to inability to defog windows. The vehicle was taken to an authorized Ford dealer the same day. The dealer confirmed the issue, diagnosed water intrusion into the Body Control Module, and stated that the failure is linked to an open Ford recall regarding BCM water intrusion. The dealer has had the vehicle since 10/21/25, and the BCM and related components remain available for inspection. The repair has been delayed for nearly two months, and the dealer reports they are “waiting on engineering approval” from Ford with no estimated completion date. The defect has been reproduced and confirmed by the dealer but has not yet been repaired. The manufacturer has not inspected the vehicle directly, and no police or insurance inspection has occurred. The safety risk remains significant because BCM failure disables multiple critical signaling and monitoring systems without warning. I own a new manual 2024 Ford Mustang GT now with 800 miles. When turning on the unit on 2 occasions, one on November 20 and another on December 3, documented with photographs and videos, the unit presents a black screen with no image. Either in reverse or drive without the possibility of viewing any image. The agency was notified and commented that these failures had never occurred.

I am concerned about a serious safety recall affecting the vehicle. To date, the manufacturer has not taken corrective action, which has placed an undue amount of stress on me. I respectfully request prompt steps to resolve this issue.

Driving down the road all tire sensors went into default – started flickering on and off headlights kept flickering on and off AC kept working and then stopped working.

The auxiliary display that contains the rear camera view failed on several occasions even after the software installation from Ford to fix the failure of this display. The aural alert for cross traffic and pedestrian warning still functions, however, without the display I do not know what is behind or beside the car and from which direction it is coming from when backing out of blind parking spot (between two trucks in the last case). The Mustang is currently being inspected by the local dealer again.

In April 2025 as i was driving my vehicle I noticed my digital dashboard completely blacked out for a few minutes then reappeared. at the time i wasn't sure if an update was happening or not. The issue resurfaced late June but was worst. I took the vehicle to my ford dealership in (Courtesy Ford of Conyers,Georgia). They kept the vehicle for a few weeks and replaced the dash. However, the fix was short lived and in I received the back in Aug 2025. With three days of receipt of the vehicle the same problem was still present although the dash had been replaced. Current shop time is approx 30 days. I'm looking at processing this under the GA lemon law.

Ford Motor Company has an issue with their 2024 Ford Mustang Convertibles, where condensation forms in the footwell ducts during air conditioner operation. As condensation accumulates, water drips onto the driver's foot and potentially the gas and/or brake pedal, creating a risk of driver error. This issue has been known since the vehicle's delivery nearly two years ago. Ford has acknowledged the problem but has not provided a resolution, stating that this occurrence is "expected." Some additional drivers are also experiencing this: [XXX] [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

My new 2024 Mustang GT’s AC doesn't blow cold air. It has less than 3,000 miles. It is beginning to be a known problem for 2024 mustang owners. This can be dangerous if a driver is trying to use the touch screen to work the air conditioner and settings.

I visited the [XXX] in Greensboro, NC on [XXX], was inside the Y for around five minutes, and when I came out and got back to my car, the car would not start, the battery was completely dead. I called USAA Road Service, they came and said I had a very discharged battery. They helped me get the car started, and I got home OK. I do not know what caused the battery to fail. After the battery failed, It was inspected on July 9, 2024 by Green Ford in Greensboro, and then replaced by the Ford dealer. My safety was at risk because the dealer said the faulty battery probably was responsible for an accelerator problem I am experiencing (detailed in NHTSA complaint number 11619861) and a brake failure which I experienced (detailed in NHTSA complaint number 11619933). The Ford dealer that said the battery was defective, and as I said, replaced it (under the car's warranty). There was no warning that the battery would fail, and I do not know why it failed, and had no reason to believe it would fail. If the Ford dealer kept the failed battery, and still has it, it should be available for inspection upon request. In the morning when I start the car, I have a blank digital instrumentation screen. No way to tell how fast you are driving or how much gas you have and no warning lights. Sometimes it will take over an hour to come back on. Took it to a Ford dealership and they said they could not duplicate the problem, but a service bulletin was out on is problem was out on this to make sure software was up to date. My car is up to date, and I was told Ford was working on the problem if that did not correct it with a time frame of October 2025. I think this is a real safety concern how do they expect me to drive a car with no warning display or knowing how fast I'm driving for a whole year.

The main display on vehicle providing speed, gas level, mileage and all gauges and vehicle information and notifications has gone completely black. Screen has not been able to turn back on after troubleshooting with Ford. Dealerships have been booked up for a week or two in a 2 state radius and ford has denied to provide a loner vehicle so I am stuck driving without knowing how much gas or how fast I’m going

I am dealing with ford on two brand new mustangs. That are both failing electrically and they claim they have fixed yet haven’t and still exhibiting gross safety concerns. This is simply large scale negligence. Both Mustangs screens have and are randomly blacking out creating massive safety concern when no guages or functions are present. I’ve contacted them and a. Insider has given me a document showing that they know and have no answers. And for this. Is gross negligence. I demand replacements. Both problems have cause financial damages. And also psychological trauma due to prior car wreck where dash blacked out. This is a known issue And I demand answers.

While driving, my digital gauge cluster screen will completely go to black, and then it will fade out. This is during normal operation. The gauge cluster does not do any restart animations, so it is as if the screen loses power for a few seconds, or something causes it to stop being displayed.
