Do not know why. Certainly, a vehicle that stops running in traffic creates a safety hazard to that vehicle and other vehicle on the road.

THE CONTACT NOTIFIED THE MANUFACTURER WHO INFORMED HIM THAT HIS VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER OFFERED NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN REPAIRED.
