FRAME IS NOT STABLE. FLEXING OF FRAME ALLOWS FRONT OF TRAILER TO MOVE FORWARD. THE FRONT WALLS SEPARATING FROM FRAME. LAG BOLTS INSUFFICIENT TO HOLD TRAILER ON FRAME. WHILE BACKING ON AN INCLINE, THE TRAILER FLEXED AND MADE CONTACT WITH MY PICKUP TRUCK.

HORIZONTAL MOVEMENT OF TRAILER TONGUE AND FORK FROM BODY WHEN ON JACK STANDS.
THE 19' FOOT TRAVEL TRAILER HAS SEPARATION OF THE INSIDE WALL AT FLOOR AND DINETTE BENCH FROM THE FRAME.
NHTSA RECALL NUMBER:15V553 I TOOK MY CAMPER IN FOR WINDOW RECALL WORK IT SAT FROM JAN TILL MID APRIL AND WAITED FOR THE WINDOWS TO COME IN TO BE REPLACED AND I WAS TOLD THEY ALL WERE REPLACED. THE CAMPER WAS PARKED AND I WHEN I OPENED THE WINDOWS TO LET SOME FRESH AIR IN THE CAMPER THE TOP WINDOW GLASS PULLED LOOSE FROM ITS ALUMINUM HINGE AND WAS DANGLING FROM THE MECHANISM THAT OPENS AND CLOSES THE WINDOW. I CONTACTED SHASTA WARRANTY DEPARTMENT ONCE THE WINDOW FELL OUT AND HE LOOKED UP MY CAMPERS REPAIR HISTORY AND THE ONLY WINDOWS THAT DIDN'T PASS INSPECTION AND HAD TO BE REPLACED WAS BACK WINDOW AND THE 2 UP FRONT. I WILL BE RETURNING FOR A WINDOW REPLACEMENT. SO IT LOOKS LIKE EVEN IF THE WINDOWS PASS THE INSPECTION THEY STILL CAN FALL OUT...
I WAS WASHING MY CAMPER AND I WAS CUT A FEW TIMES ON ROUGH METAL BURR WHERE THE METAL WAS CUT/BROKEN ON BUMPER, AND A PIECE OF METAL STICKING OUT OF MY WING OF MY CAMPER.. I WAS ABLE TO STOP THE BLEEDING AND DIDN'T GO TO THE DOCTOR...
WHEN I TOOK MY CAMPER BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP BECAUSE IT LEAKED THE DAY I BOUGHT IT, THE BACK WINDOW POPPED OPEN AND WAS FLAPPING ON THE WAY TO DEALERSHIP. IF IT WOULD HAVE BUSTED OR CAME LOOSE THAT COULD HAVE CAUSE A BAD ACCIDENT... RETURNED TO THE DEALERSHIP TO BE REPAIRED..

WHILE CAMPING IT BEGAN TO RAIN SO WE CLOSED ALL THE WINDOWS AND TURNED ON THE AC IT NEVER REALLY COOLED THE CABIN SO WE THOUGHT MAYBE NEEDED TIME SO THE NEXT MORNING WE HAD IT ON FULL BLAST AND LEFT TO GO SEE THE LITTLE WHITE HOUSE AND WHEN WE GOT BACK LATER THAT AFTERNOON MAYBE 4PM. WHEN THE DOOR WAS OPENED EXTREMELY HOT AIR HIT ME IN THE FACE AND I COULD HARDLY BREATHE IT WAS SO HOT IN THE TRAILER. GOOD THING I LEFT MY DOG AT HOME OR HE WOULD HAVE DIED IN THE TRAILER FROM A HEAT STROKE!!! THE WINDOW UNIT IS IN A CABINET WITH A VENT IN THE BACK BUT THE EXHAUST AIR IS NOT SEPARATED FROM THE INTAKE AIR AND IT RECYCLES ITS OWN HOT AIR! SO THE CABINET ON TOP OF THE AC WAS SO HOT IT MELTED THE BAG OF MARSHMALLOWS TURNED MY BANANAS BLACK, AND THE HANDLES ON ALL THE DRAWERS AND CABINET THAT WAS ON THE SAME ISLAND WITH THE AC WAS VERY HOT TO THE TOUCH! WE RETURNED THE CAMPER A 3RD TIME FOR REPAIRS THEY FOUND THAT SHASTA DID NOT WIRE THE EXHAUST FAN INTO THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM!!!

AFTER THE DEALERSHIP WIRED THE EXHAUST FAN INTO THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM MY A/C STILL ISN'T COOLING PROPERLY. WE HAD TO GO BUY 2 FANS TO PLACE IN THE CAMPER. AND THE CABINET WAS STILL HOT AND THE HANDLES HOT TO TOUCH ... WE SEEN OTHER FIXES DEALERSHIPS HAVE DONE AND WE OPENED THE CABINET AND ADDED INSULATION TO THE CABINET AND PLUG ALL THE HOLES IN THE AC CABINET THAT ALLOWS HOT EXHAUST AIR IN THE CABIN AND BUILD A DUCT TO FUNNEL OUT THE HOT EXHAUST AIR STRAIT TO THE LITTLE FAN AND TO THE VENT.. THE AC STILL DOESN'T COMPLETELY COOL THE CABIN BUT IT IS AT LEAST PUTTING OUT COOL AIR WE STILL HAVE TO USE FANS TO HELP MOVE THE COLD AIR AROUND.

WHEN WE PARKED THE CAMP GROUND AT THE SITE I WAS GOING TO TURN ON THE RADIO WHILE WE SET UP THE DINETTE WAS IN THE BED POSITION I CLIMBED UP TO TURN ON THE RADIO AND THE BED FELL DOWN LUCKILY I CAUGHT MYSELF FROM FALLING BACK AND DIDN'T GET HURT. THE FACTORY HAD PLACED EXTRA SUPPORT ON THE PASSENGER SIDE BUT NOT ON THE DRIVER'S SO IT WAS STILL ABLE TO FALL. WE HAVE RETURNED THE CAMPER TO DEALERSHIP THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO FIX IT...

THE DAY BEFORE WE WERE TO LEAVE AND GO CAMPING I WAS LOADING CAMPING STUFF INTO THE CAMPER AND THE DOOR BECAME STUCK AND WOULD NOT OPEN IT WAS VERY HOT THAT DAY LUCKILY I WASN'T TRAPPED IN THE TRAILER BECAUSE I WAS HOME ALONE AND MY CELL PHONE WAS IN THE HOUSE! I NOW TRY TO MAKE SURE THE PHONE IS ON ME IF I'M TO BE IN THE CAMPER INCASE THAT EVER HAPPENS WHILE I'M INSIDE. SO INSTEAD OF LEAVING TO THE CAMPGROUND ON TIME WE HAD TO GO 45 MILES IN THE WRONG DIRECTION FOR THEM TO OPEN THE DOOR SO WE COULD USE THIS CAMPER. WE ARRIVED 9:30 AM AND IT TOOK TILL 5:30PM FOR THEM TO FIX IT.

WE GET HOME FROM CAMPING AND SEE THE EMERGENCY BACK WINDOW LEVER ARM HANGING DOWN THE BACK OF THE CAMPER SO IT POPPED OPEN DOWN THE ROAD AGAIN! WE HAD ONE MORE CAMPING TRIP SO I CLOSED THE WINDOW AND I PUT A REUSABLE VELCRO STRAP AROUND THE WINDOW LEVER TO TRY AND KEEP IT CLOSED BUT WE WENT ON THE NEXT TRIP WE STOP TO GET GAS AND THE WINDOW WAS OPEN AGAIN SO I ADDED A TOTAL OF 3 STRAPS AND IT TEMPORARILY FIXED THE WINDOW TILL WE TOOK THE CAMPER BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR THE 4TH TIME...

I LOOKED UNDER MY CAMPER AND I FOUND THEY JUST PUT A FEW SCREWS IN THE WHEEL WELLS TO "FIX" DAMAGE FROM WHEELS BUSTING THE WHEEL WELL LOOSE FROM MY CAMPER, AND IT STILL HAS GAPS IN THE WHEEL WELLS AND EXPOSED SCREW WITH THE POINTED END POINTED TOWARDS MY TIRE ...

AT TIMES THE LED LIGHTS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE CAMPER WOULDN'T WORK OR WOULD GO IN AND OUT. SO WE CHECK THE PLUG THAT HOOKS THE CAMPER TO THE TRUCK AND ONE OF THE PRONGS WAS MISSHAPEN SO HUBBY BENT IT BACK IN PLACE IT SEEMS TO BE WORKING NOW
A CO2 ALARM INDICATOR WENT OFF. THE HEAT WAS ON AND APPARENTLY HAVING ITEMS IN FRONT OF VENTS ON THE FLOOR DOES NOT ALLOW FOR ENOUGH VENTILATION. IF THE CO2 DETECTOR WOULD OF NOT GONE OFF WE COULD OF BEEN POISONED. THERE IS NOT A STICKER INDICATING NOT TO PLACE ITEMS NEAR THE VENT THAT DISTRIBUTES THE HEAT. SEEMS LIKE A LOGICAL CONSUMER WARNING. ALSO WE WERE SURPRISED THAT THIS WOULD MAKE CO2 BUILD UP. ....UPDATED 09/03/15 *BF *CN

TIRE COMPLAINT. 2015 FOREST RIVER SHASTA AIRFLYTE REISSUE WAS SOLD TO ME WITH PASSENGER TIRES. MULTIPLE ENGINEERS HAVE NOTIFIED ME THAT THESE TIRES ARE DANGEROUS AND SHOULD NOT BE USED. THE TRAILER SHOULD HAVE BEEN EQUIPPED WITH TRAILER TIRES, NOT PASSENGER TIRES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THIS BY AN AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTER. THEY'VE NOT ACCEPTED ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR SUBSTITUTING THE APPROPRIATE TIRES. THE COACH HAS BEEN DESIGNATED UNSAFE FOR USE BY MULTIPLE ENGINEERS WHO SPECIALIZE IN ROAD SAFETY.

I BELIEVE THIS IS THE MANUFACTURE LINK HTTPS://WWW.COKERTIRE.COM/P225-75R15-COKER-CLASSIC-2-3-4-WHITEWALL.HTML THE TIRES WERE PROVIDED BY SHASTA AS A STOCK OPTION. THE TIRES HAVE INADEQUATE CLEARANCE AND AS A RESULT ARE RUBBING INSIDE THE WHEEL WELL BOTHER LATERALLY AND VERTICALLY. I NOTIFIED MY DEALER AND WARRANTY WORK WAS COMPLETED ON MY SUSPENSION TO IMPROVE CLEARANCE.* NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE IN REGARDS TO THE TIRES. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERN. VISIBLE RUBBING IN IS THE TOP OF THE WHEEL WELL. TIRE SIZE = ST225/75R15D DESIGNED FOR PASSENGER CARS. THE STICKERS ON THE SIDE OF MY CAMPER INFORMS ME TO INFLATE THE COKER TIRE TO 35 PSI AND TIRE ITSELF INDICATES 35PSI MAXIMUM INFLATION. (I KNOW OF FOLKS IN THE SHASTA CAMPER CLUB WITH A DIFFERENT STICKER OF 65PSI. THEIR CAMPERS WERE MANUFACTURED BEFORE MINE. THEY HAVE NOT BEEN NOTIFIED TO CHANGE THE PSI. WE HAVE NO IDEA WHO HAS THE CORRECT INFORMATION AS THE COMPANY IS NOT OPENLY COMMUNICATING. POTENTIALLY WE ARE BOTH WRONG.) I CONSIDER THIS SITUATION TO BE A SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERN WHICH FOREST RIVER IS NOT TAKING SERIOUSLY. THERE WILL BE A TOTAL OF 1,941 UNITS BUILT AND THEY WILL ALL HAVE THE SAME 'STOCK' WHITEWALL TIRES. I AM CONCERNED THAT THE RUBBING CAN CAUSE A BLOWOUT AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. *SHASTA (FR SUBSIDIARY) IMPLEMENTED A WARRANTY (SHACKLE ATTACHMENT TO SPRING) TO MY CAMPER INDICATING THAT IT WOULD HELP WITH THE CLEARANCE BUT I DO NOT SEE A DIFFERENCE. WITH THIS TIRE IN PLACE, I HAVE ABOUT A ~2' TIRE CLEARANCE AND RUBBING OF TIRES CONTINUES TO BE A CONCERN. THE LEAF SPRINGS CONTINUE TO APPEAR TO BE FLATTENED WITH LESS THAN 200 MILES ON THE COACH.
