Vehicle intermittently and suddenly loses power steering. This started happening more often. Restarting vehicle usually restores power steering. Losing power steering while driving was very dangerous, as steering became much more difficult, especially if mid-turn.
At approximately 92k miles the diesel High Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP) failed, all internal seals were disintegrated (technician's verbage).
