1. while driving slow or making a right hand turn the vehicle turns itself off 2. periodically the car does not start/no power and does not respond to keyless car lock 3. periodically the dashboard panel lights will not turn off, flash or some will go off but not all All of the above have been a twice repaired GMC recall 17276 and has been occurring since 2020.

Rusted out frame. 130k miles and well cared for. I don't think a 10 year old vehicle should have a rust hole in the frame.

I bought this truck used, in 2022 for $24,000... had it put up on a lift and fully gone over before purchasing. Roughly 18 months later I was notified by the garage that there were some rust holes in the frame that needed to be fixed. I had those holes repaired in March 2024, and the vehicle was inspected. At this time I went over the entire frame and found no more trouble spots. I recently went to trade-in the vehicle to buy something smaller and the dealership told me the frame was "rotted" and that the truck was essentially worthless and actually dangerous to drive. These frames are rotting from the inside out, and go from a sellable and valuable truck, to worthless within months or years. GM used inferior steel, inferior rust prevention, and is leaving countless owners stranded with vehicles they cannot sell, are unsafe to drive, and are still paying on. I still owe $10,000 on the truck and the best offer I've gotten has been $3,000. My options are to either put thousands of dollars into the vehicle and pray the rest of the frame does not suffer the same fate (unlikely), or junk the truck and buy another vehicle, meaning I'd need to pay two car loans off and only have one usable vehicle. GM knew about this issue and did not fix it and now hard working Americans are being financially devastated because of it. I bought a nice, clean 8 year old truck, and 2.5 years/20k miles later I'm left with junk and a depreciation of roughly $1 per mile for the time I've owned this vehicle. This has been an extremely stressful situation which has left me coming to terms with the fact that I'm most likely losing $10,000 because of this frame issue. This truck brand new sold for over $42,000 and 10 years later is worth about $2,000, if that. It was not beat, or neglected - simply driven and used as intended. This is unacceptable.

While driving, my wife and I heard a bang, and when she went to turn her head, she noticed that the vehicle was smoking from rear defroster, and the back windshield had smashed. we immediately pulled over and the vehicle did not stop smoking until we turned off the rear defroster. This put our safety at risk as the entire vehicle could’ve caught fire. When we went to check to see if it had been recalled, Our vehicle did not have any open recalls But we found that there were many other GMC Sierra trucks with this issue. We contacted our local dealer who confirmed that he had seen this happen to other GMC Sierra trucks. There was no warning light Or other indicator that this was going to happen. Unfortunately, Our vehicle was not included under recall N192265660 and we strongly recommend that another investigation is performed to include all 2014 GMC Sierra trucks. I have a video showing our vehicle smoking with a smashed, sliding Back windshield.

I have a 2014 Silverado high-country. The truck has approximately 110k miles. I was told by chevy the frame is rusted through and unsafe to work on. They know these trucks had problems with the rust coating and only put out a bulletin to have them recoated. The problem is rust is rust. Once the metal was exposed there is no going back. My truck would other wise last another 50-70k miles.

The frame of the vehicle is rusted through in 2 areas. I recently noticed the rusting frame. Shortly after I purchase the vehicle the rust preventative coating, that was factory applied, was noticed pealing from the frame rails. I sprayed undercoating on the frame at that time to avoid rust after seeing that the factory application had failed. This has not been adequate as the frame has rusted in an area that the inside channel of the frame did not drain effectively and therefore collected water and salt during the winter months. The frame cross members are also rusting badly. The metal is flaking off excessively. In contrast the trailer hitch on the truck is in very good condition because it is the only part of the frame that appears to be properly conditioned to resist corrosion.

Remote started my truck. Went to get in my truck about 10 minutes later. There was smoke in the vehicle. The rear defrost shorted and melted a hole in the rubber seal next to my rear sliding window. The heat from the incident cracked and spider webbed my rear window.

My truck shuts off in the middle of driving. Completely losing power to anything electric. I can not unlock or lock the door, the windows, hazard lights, steer the wheel to help me move. I can’t do anything. I have almost crashed.

I have only owned the vehicle for about 5 months now and well it just started seeming like the transmission is starting to slip while also making a noise and just struggling to find what gear to stay in. I have service the car per the gm manual and I don’t drive the car anywhere but to work and back and that’s it. So disappointing that in going to have to replaced the transmission so soon.

After driving vehicle for about 40 mins from last parked location, i slowed to take a left hand turn, engaged blinker, accelerated while proceeding to turn left. the steering wheel jerked to the Right and sounded an audible "ding" and door locks engaged. upon driving an additional estimated 100 feet, the entire system shut down. (i happened to be turning into a parking lot where there was a car parts store in town) no power at all, nothing on the display panel, all doors remained locked and i was locked inside the vehicle. i placed the gear shift into Park and tried unlocking the doors, which would not unlock due to no power. taking the key out of the ignition and reinserting it and tried to start did nothing. after a few more failed attempts, the interior lights and display screen flashed (glitchy blinking) and after a few more attempts, when the key was turned to the run position I finally had normal power. the doors finally unlocked. seemed as if the system rebooted itself and i had power and was able to start the vehicle. the dash panel showed a message to roll down the drivers side window, then showed a message to roll up the drivers side window. after i followed the prompts, everything returned to normal. i went into the parts store and had them hook up to a code scanner, which did not show any codes, the battery, alternator, and starter were also checked and were fine. i was able to drive home with no problem. I am afraid to drive my truck because i do not want this to happen when driving at a higher rate of speed. I was fortunate to be turning into a parking lot when the event happened. I am fearful of this happening again and causing an accident.

I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A LOCAL GMC DEALER TO GET THE RECALL CORRECTED BUT I WAS TOLD THEY COULDNT FIX IT BECAUSE MY SOFTWARE WAS DIFFERENT THAN THE ONE THEY USUALLY USE AND THE PROBLEM WAS NEVER FIXED.

On Sunday, May 30, 2021 this truck caught on fire. My son was driving this truck, he looked in the rear view mirror and saw flames coming up between the bed of the truck and the cab. He was on a single lane road following a river, Highway 55 in Idaho, and the cab immediately started filling with smoke. There is a lot of traffic on this highway and he was trying to find a spot to pull off. His airbag on the drivers side deployed but he was able to push it down and see a dirt area to pull off. There were no warning lights or issues with the vehicle that he was aware of. The police and fire were called to the scene, by bystanders. Obviously my son and passenger were very shaken up by this. My son reported this to Geico, his insurance that same day and has been working with the claims adjuster on this. We wanted to report this because this could have so easily been a different outcome. The truck and all belongings in it burned very quickly. It was towed to Mustang Towing in Horseshoe Bend, ID. No injuries fortunately.

AC QUIT WORKING AT 62,000 MILES. TOOK IT TO THE SHOP TO SEE WHAT WAS WRONG. WAS TOLD THE CONDENSER NEEDS TO BE REPLACED THAT WILL COST $800-$1,000. SAID THAT THIS VEHICLE IS KNOWN TO HAVE ISSUES BY GMC AND THAT THEY HAVE NOT ISSUED A RECALL. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT I AM GOING TO HAVE TO COME OUT OF POCKET FOR THIS EXPENSE IF GM IS AWARE THAT THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THE CONDENSER NEEDING REPLACED IN THIS VEHICLE.

INTERMITTENTLY GETTING "SERVICE STABILITRAK" "ELECTRONIC STEERING ASSIST POWER REDUCED" MESSAGES WHILE TURNING LEFT AT SPEEDS 30MPH OR LESS. EACH TIME I RECEIVE THIS MESSAGE THE STEERING WHEEL BECOMES VERY HARD TO TURN AND JERKS. SEVERAL TIMES THE VEHICLE HAS DIED BUT RESTARTED ITSELF. ON 2 OCCASIONS ( THANKFULLY IN A PARKING LOT AWAY FROM TRAFFIC) THE VEHICLE DIED AFTER THESE MESSAGES AND WOULD NOT RESTART, NO SYSTEMS WOULD RESPOND TO TURNING THE KEY FOR SEVERAL CYCLES. BOTH TIMES THIS HAS HAPPENED I ALSO RECEIVED AN ANTI-THEFT MESSAGE AS WELL. I KNOW THERE IS A RECALL ISSUED FOR THIS BUT GM IS NOT LISTING MY VIN AS AN AFFECTED VEHICLE. THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM STOPPED WORKING PROPERLY. NOTICED A LARGE AMOUNT OF OIL UNDER THE TRUCK IN THE AREA OF THE AIR CONDITIONING LINES REFRIGERANT LINES. SUSPECT THAT THE LINES HAVE RUPTURED AND ARE LEAKING OIL AND REFRIGERANT. CHECK TO SEE IF THEY WERE ANY RECALLS CONCERNING THIS PROBLEM AND NOTICED THAT NUMEROUS PEOPLE HAVE SUFFERED THE SAME FAILURE OF THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS. ALSO NOTED THE GM IS NOT DOING A RECALL ON THESE SYSTEMS EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE ADMITTING THAT THERE ARE FAULTS IN THE BRACKETS HOLDING THE REFRIGERANT LINES TO THE FRAME AND HAVE RE-DESIGNED THOSE BRACKETS IN LATER MODEL UNITS. ALSO NOTED THAT GENERAL MOTORS IS NOT RIP MAKING REPAIRS AT A REDUCED COST OR NO COST DUE TO THEIR FAILURE IN DESIGN.

THIS IS NOT COVERED UNDER ANY RECALL OR WARRANTY FROM GM/CHEVY. THERE ARE MULTIPLE CLASS ACTION LAWSUITS ACROSS THE US REGARDING THIS TOPIC ALONE. I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT THERE SHOULD BE THIS TYPE OF FAILURE ON A 4.5 YEAR OLD TRUCK, ESPECIALLY WHEN THE ORIGINAL COST OF THE TRUCK IS $50,000.

THE DOOR LOCKS DONT ALWAYS LOCK. MY GRANDSON WAS IN THE BACK SEAT AND FELL ASLEEP, WHILE ASLEEP HE BUMPED THE DOOR HANDLE AND THE DOOR OPENED WHILE WE WERE GOING 50 MPH., LUCKY HE HAD THE SEAT BELT ON. THE DOOR SHOULD NOT HAVE OPENED AS THE LOCK SHOULD HAVE ENGAGED WHEN THE TRUCK IS PUT IN GEAR AND MADE THE DOOR HANDLE INOPERABLE. THE DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR IS THE PROBLEM, THIS WILL BE THE SECOND ONE REPLACED. YOU DONT KNOW THEY DONT WORK BECAUSE THEY MAKE A LOCKING SOUND WHEN ACTIVATED. THEY JUST DONT LOCK, VERY DANGEROUS GLAD HE DIDNT FALL OUT OF THE VEHICLE.

I HAVE NOTICED AN ISSUE FOR A FEW YEARS WHILE PARKING THAT MY BRAKES WOULD LOCK UP IF USED REPEATEDLY. WHILE GETTING SERVICE DONE I HAD ASKED IF THEY NOTICED ANYTHING AND THEY HAD SAID NO. THEY HAVE KNOW RECOGNIZED IT IS A PROBLEM BUT ARE LIMITING THE FIX TO 72000 MILES WHICH I AM 3K OVER. THEY SAID I HAVE NEVER FORMALLY COMPLAINED ABOUT THIS SO I DISQUALIFY FOR THE $ 540.00 REPAIR. NOW THE ISSUE IS CROSSING OVER TO THE DRIVER CLUSTER CONTROL MODULE WHERE IT TURNS OFF COMPLETELY AND RESTARTS ON ITS OWN WHILE I'M DRIVING. DEALERSHIP HAS NEVER GIVEN ME A SOLUTION OR HAVE CONTACTED ME SINCE THEN. WHEN I CALLED ABOUT ON GOING ISSUE, THEY STATED THAT THEY CANNOT DO ANYTHING UNLESS THE PROBLEM IS PRESENT WHEN AT THE DEALERSHIP EVEN AFTER I EXPLAINED IT HAPPENS AT RANDOM TIMES. THEY REFUSED TO LISTEN AND LOOK UP PRIOR SERVICE HISTORY. DID PRIOR RESEARCH AND LOCATED AN ARTICLE THAT RADIO AND CLUSTER WERE GOING TO BE PART OF A RECALL BUT GM CLAIMED IT WAS NOT AN ISSUE.

MY 2014 GMC SIERRA 1500 HAS A AIR CONDITIONING LEAK IN THE CONDENSER FOR THE 2ND TIME. THE FIRST TIME WAS AT 48,000 MILES (2 YRS OLD) AND NOW AGAIN AT 92,000 (4YRS OLD). THE FIRST TIME THE PART WAS ON NATIONAL BACKORDER, HOWEVER I WAS ABLE TO LOCATE ONE AT A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP. I PAID $600 FOR THE REPLACEMENT. NOW THEY WANT TO CHARGE ME $1000.00 FOR THE SAME THING. HOWEVER THEY ARE WILLING TO CUT ME A BREAK DOWN TO $699. I BELIEVE THIS IS BECAUSE THERE IS ALSO A LEAK IN THE COOLING SYSTEM. I HAVE CONTACTED GM AND THERE STANDARD WARRANTY IS 1 YR ON PARTS SO THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. UPON DOING SOME INTERNET SEARCHES THIS APPEARS TO BE A WIDE SPREAD PROBLEM. ITEMS NEEDED TO REPAIR ARE OUT OF STOCK CAUSING LONG DELAYS IN GETTING REPAIR. DRIVING IN THE EXTREME HEAT IN SOCAL WITH SMALL CHILDREN IS NOT SAFE. WOULD LIKE FOR YOUR AGENCY TO HELP IN PROTECTING THE CONSUMER BY STANDING UP TO GMC / CHEVY TO HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE FOR THIS FAULTY MANUFACTURING. THERE IS A PENDING CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT IN TN I BELIEVE AND COUNTLESS SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS ABOUT THIS WIDESPREAD PROBLEM YET IT REMAINS THE BURDEN OF THE CONSUMER TO NOT ONLY PAY OUT OF POCKET BUT TO WAIT FOR REPAIRS BECAUSE PARTS ARE OUT OF STOCK. 1ST QUOTE WAS $1600, THEN GMC SAID THEY WOULD PAY FOR A PORTION BRINGING THE COSTS DOWN TO APPROXIMATELY $700. AC CONDENSER FAILED. WHEN RESEARCHED ON-LINE FOUND PAGES OF OTHERS COMPLAINING ABOUT THE SAME ISSUE...ALWAYS CRACKS IN THE SAME CORNER. GMC WOULD NOT WARRANTY. WANTED TO CHARGE $1,300 TO REPLACE THEIR FAULTY CONDENSER. EVEN THE SERVICE DPMT ADMITTED IT WAS AN ISSUE. ENDED UP PAYING ABOUT HALF THAT, BUT THE BOTTOM LINE IS GM HAS A FAULTY COMPONENT AND THEY ARE HOPING THEY FAIL JUST OUTSIDE OF WARRANTY. AN AC CONDENSER IS NOT SOMETHING THAT SHOULD EVER (OR VERY, VERY RARELY) GET REPLACED IN THE NORMAL LIFE OF A VEHICLE, CERTAINLY NOT BEFORE A 100,000 MILES. THIS SHOULD BE A MANDATORY RECALL AND UPDATED OR AT LEAST IT SHOULD BE COVERED FOR THOSE THAT FAIL DURING THE NORMAL LIFE CYCLE OF THE VEHICLE.

2014-2015 GMC SIERRAS WERE PRODUCED WITH A KNOWN FAULTY A/C CONDENSER WITH A BAD WELD THAT CAUSES AN A/C SYSTEM LEAK REQUIRING REPLACEMENT. THERE HAS BEEN AN OVERWHELMING FAILURE OF THE PRODUCT ACROSS THE COUNTRY, SO BAD TO EVEN MAKE NBC NEWS. GM BECAME AWARE OF THIS ISSUE AND SENT NEW (PROPERLY PRODUCED) CONDENSERS TO THEIR PRODUCTION LINES FIRST, LEAVING HUNDREDS OF GMC OWNERS WITHOUT A/C OVER THE SUMMER. THEY PUT OUT A "SPECIAL RECALL" ON A VERY SMALL NUMBER OF VINS SAYING IT "MAY" HAPPEN IN OTHER VINS. THERE IS AN OVERWHELMING VOLUME OF COMPLAINTS ONLINE (TO INCLUDE MYSELF) TO WHERE GM IS ACKNOWLEDGING THIS ISSUE BUT REFUSING TO COVER THE REPLACEMENT COST OF THEIR FAULTY PART FOR HUNDREDS OF OWNERS HAVING THIS ISSUE. AT 70,000 MILES, AND 30 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASING IT NEW, THE AIR CONDITIONING STOPPED WORKING DUE TO A FAULTY CONDENSER. AFTER INVESTIGATING THIS PROBLEM I FOUND OUT THAT THERE IS AN EXTREMELY HIGH FAILURE RATE OF GMC TRUCKS FOR THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM. IT IS A WELL KNOWN DEFECT PER SEVERAL GM DEALERS WHO ARE LEFT TO DEAL WITH THE PROBLEM. A BRACKET TO SECURE THE A/C LINE WAS NEVER INSTALLED WHEN VEHICLE WAS BUILT, CAUSING MOVEMENT IN THE LINE WHICH EVENTUALLY CAN RUIN THE CONDENSER, AC LINE AND COMPRESSOR. I ASKED GM DEALER TO FIX UNDER WARRANTY BUT WAS TOLD THAT THE REPAIR WOULD NOT BE DONE UNDER WARRANTY. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE, AS THE DEFECT IS WIDESPREAD IN MANY OF THEIR LIGHT TRUCKS. THAT FOLLOWING DAY WE RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM THE PARTS DEPARTMENT AT THE DEALERSHIP STATING THAT THE AC CONDENSER IS UNAVAILABLE AND THEY DID NOT HAVE AN ETA BECAUSE THE PART WAS BACKORDERED. ABOUT A WEEK HAD PAST, AND BEING FRUSTRATED WITH HAVING NO AC , LIVING IN 110 DEGREE WEATHER AND DRIVING THIS VEHICLE WITH A 2 MONTH OLD AND 4 YEAR OLD CHILD, I WAS DESPERATE TO HAVE IT FIXED. I CONTACTED GENERAL MOTORS DIRECTLY TO SEE WHAT THE ISSUE WAS WITH THE PART AND SEE IF THEY COULD HELP ME. AFTER SPEAKING TO THE REPRESENTATIVE, I GOT NO ANSWERS BESIDES THEY ARE "WORKING ON IT." SHE TOLD ME THIS WAS A NATIONWIDE PROBLEM AND THEY ARE TRYING TO GET THE PART AVAILABLE FROM THE MANUFACTURER. I TOLD HER MY SITUATION AND THE SAFETY ISSUE WITH NO AC AND THE CLIMATE I LIVE IN AND SHE TOLD ME THEY COULDN'T DO ANYTHING OR EXPEDITE GETTING THE PART. MY HUSBAND AND I LOOKED INTO GETTING AN AFTERMARKET CONDENSER AND THOSE TOO ARE UNAVAILABLE. WE DID RESEARCH AND THERE ARE TONS OR COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE AC CONDENSER BREAKING IN THE GMC SIERRAS AND CHEVY SILVERADO MODELS AND GM HAS DONE NOTHING ABOUT RECALLING IT. THIS PART RARELY FAILS IN A VEHICLE, UNLESS IT IS DAMAGED. IT IS CLEAR THAT THIS PART IS DEFECTIVE, AND IS UNAVAILABLE EVEN TO BE REPLACED. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY CONCERN AND GM NEEDS TO ADDRESS THIS. STILL, 2 MONTHS LATER OUR VEHICLE STILL HAS NO AC AND GM HAS DONE NOTHING TO HELP US.

OVER THE PAST TWO YEARS, WE HAVE HAD OUR ENTIRE TRUCK SUSPENSION, ALIGNMENT, BRAKES/ROTORS, ETC INSPECTED NUMEROUS TIMES AND WERE TOLD MORE THAN ONCE BY GM TECHNICIANS THAT THIS VEHICLE PERFORMS UNDER ACCEPTABLE CONDITIONS ACCORDING TO GENERAL MOTORS, EVEN THOUGH THEY AGREE THAT IT DOES NOT FEEL ACCEPTABLE. MY LAST INSPECTION WAS TODAY AND I WAS TOLD THE SAME THING.

THERE IS A LEAK IN MY AIR CONDITIONING CONDENSER. WHEN BROUGHT IN FOR SERVICE I WAS TOLD THERE IS A NATION-WIDE BACKORDER ON THE CONDENSERS. I THEN HAD TO BRING IN MY TRUCK FOR A IGNITION COIL FAILURE AND WAS TOLD BY THE DEALERSHIP THAT THEY HAVE BEEN SEEING A HIGH NUMBER OF LEAKING CONDENSERS AND CANNOT GET PARTS. WHILE NOT A SAFETY ISSUE THIS IS AN EXTREMELY COSTLY FIX ON A FAIRLY NEW VEHICLE AND SEEMS AS THOUGH THERE IS A HIGH OCCURRENCE OF FAILURES AND THIS NEEDS TO BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE PUBLIC AND GMC.

MY VEHICLE HAS SIDE BOARD STEPS. THE TREAD PATTERN IS SUCH THAT WHEN WET OR ICY THE STEP IS A VIRTUAL SKID PAD. WHEN YOU PLACE WEIGHT ON THE FOOT ON THE TREAD IT IMMEDIATELY SLIPS OUT FROM UNDER YOUR POSITION. LAST YEAR I BROKE A FOOT WHEN I SLIPPED AND THIS YEAR IT WAS AN ANKLE. TREAD DESIGN NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED AND TURNED 90. AS DESIGNED THERE IS NO TRACTION PROTECTION. JUST THE OPPOSITE, IT PROMOTES LACK OF TRACTION RESULTING IN SLIPPING AND FALLING.

THE HEADLIGHTS ON THE TRUCK ARE NOT AS BRIGHT OR AS EFFECTIVE AS THEY SHOULD BE WHEN TRAVELING IN THE DARK. I AM FORCED TO USE THE HIGH BEAM FAR MORE THAN I WOULD NORMALLY DO IN MY CAR. EVEN WITH THE UPGRADE, THE LIGHT IS STILL WEAK. EVEN TO THE POINT THAT I DECIDED TO BUY AFTER MARKET LEDS TO REPLACE THEM. THE 2016 HAD A COMPLETE REDESIGN OF THE HEADLIGHTS AND I WONDER WHY. AS FOR THE INFOTAMENT SYSTEM. IT IS WEAK TO SAY IT NICELY. THE FACT THAT MY 2014 MODEL CAN NOT GET THE SAME FEATURES THAT THEY INTRODUCED IN THE 2015 (SPEECH TO TEXT) AND 2016 (CAR PLAY) IS APPALLING. ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY SAY THE HARDWARE IS NOT THERE FOR THE TEXT TO SPEECH BUT THERE ARE 3RD VENDORS WHO CAN GIVE IT ON THE 2014 MODELS. AS FOR THE RUST PROOFING ON THIS TRUCK. IT WAS CHEAPLY DONE AND THE PROTECTIVE FILM IS WEARING OFF. I WOULD TAKE IT TO THE DEALERSHIP BUT I DECIDED THIS SPRING I WILL HAVE IT PROFESSIONALLY FIXED WITH SOME RUST PROOF PAINT AND NOT THE CHEAP WAX THAT GM USED.

NO ACCIDENT HAS OCCURRED YET AS A RESULT OF THE FOLLOWING DEFICIENCY. HEADLIGHTS ON MY 2014 GMC SIERRA 1500 SLT ARE TOTALLY INADEQUATE ON HIGH OR LOW BEAM. THE LIGHTING DISTANCE IS INADEQUATE AND IS SO DIRECTIONAL THAT THERE IS NO SIDE FLAIR LIGHTING FOR TURNING LIKE YOU HAVE WITH CONVENTIONAL HEADLIGHTS. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE AND NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED IMMEDIATELY BY THE NHTSA. I HAVE HAD THIS VEHICLE FOR 1 1/2 YEARS AND THE PROBLEM IS ONGOING SINCE I BOUGHT IT. THE DEALER HAS NO SOLUTION.

GMC HAS DIAGNOSED AS A TIRE ISSUE BUT VEHICLE HAS BEEN SEEN 14+ TIMES AND TIRES HAVE ALL BEEN ROAD FORCE BALANCED, NUMEROUS TIMES. GMC REFUSES TO DIAGNOSE FURTHER AND HAS NOT IDENTIFIED THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM. VIBRATION HAS AFFECTED OTHER COMPONENTS. COMMONLY REPORTED PROBLEM AFFECTING 2014 GMC SIERRA TRUCKS BASED ON INTERNET SEARCH.

THE BACKSEAT HEADRESTS DO NOT REMAIN IN THE UPRIGHT POSITION. THEY SLIDE DOWN WITH THE SLIGHTEST CONTACT FROM THE PERSON'S HEAD. THE MAINTENANCE/SERVICE PERSON AT THE DEALERSHIP INDICATED THAT THERE HAS BEEN NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS FROM OWNERS. HE INDICATED THAT AT THIS TIME IT IS A "NO FIX" PROBLEM. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND DOES NOT MEET THE NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC BOARDS REGULATIONS ON HEADREST EQUIPMENT. THIS IS A REAL SAFETY CONCERN. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT INDICATED THAT A LATCH NEEDS TO BE INSTALLED TO HOLD THE HEADREST IN PLACE. IF THIS IS NOT CORRECTED, PEOPLE WILL AT SOME POINT IN TIME SUSTAIN SERIOUS INJURY. I FEEL LIKE CONTACTING 60 MINUTES WITH THE PROBLEM AND YOUR RESPONSE.

TRUCK VIBRATED NEW WITH 8 MILES WHEN WE FIRST DROVE IT HOME. PINPOINTED SPECIFIC SPEEDS AND RETURNED 9+ TIMES TO DEALERSHIP OVER 7 MONTHS. TIRES (TWICE), SHOCKS AND REAR END WERE ALL REPLACED BUT DID NOT STOP VIBRATION. 5 MONTHS FROM PURCHASE WE WERE FOLLOWED BY A NEIGHBOR AND THEY SAW MY TRUCK "DOG TRACKING" (TRAVELING SIDEWAYS DOWN THE ROAD). DEALER NOTED BUT WOULD NOT FOLLOW AT DISTANCE AND SPEED REQUIRED TO WITNESS THE "DOG TRACKING". DEALER TOLD ME THEY WERE CLUELESS AND COME GET THE TRUCK. LOCAL AUTO REPAIR SHOP FOLLOWED ME AND SAID THERE IS DEFINITELY A PROBLEM. FRONT CENTER OF WHEEL TO BACK CENTER OF WHEEL MEASURES 1/2 INCH LESS ON DRIVER SIDE THAN PASSENGER SIDE BUT DEALER SAYS THAT IS NOT A GOOD MEASUREMENT BECAUSE THEIR COMPUTER SAYS EVERYTHING IS FINE. THIS TRUCK VIBRATES AND "DOG TRACKS" AND DEALERSHIP REFUSES TO MAKE PROPER OFFER AND HAS GIVEN UP ON REPAIR ATTEMPTS. I AM PRESENTLY SEEKING HELP FROM A DIFFERENT DEALER.
