Sorry I speak Spanish Le cambiaron sensor bolsa de aire pero sigue teniendo lo el mismo problema y después de eso no se si le esta afectando porque ya no me sirve la alarma, el tablero en ocasiones se detiene o no prende nada, el stereo derrepente deja de oírse incluso lo de navegación yo regrese ese mismo día y reclame pero me dijo la señora de atención a clientes que con el tiempo se iba arreglar hasta que acepte el sensor y ya paso algo de tiempo y cada vez más ahí problemas si llega a explotar la bolsa de aire yo tengo el recibo por cualquier acción que tenga que hacer por si llega haber un accidente que dios no lo quiera espero respuesta de ustedes y por dentro por no hablar ingles

The contact sustained hematomas on his knee and hip while the passenger sustained a busted knee. Medical treatment was required. The vehicle was not drivable and was towed to an impound lot. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. A dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure and the contact filed a complaint. The contact was relating the failure to NHTSA campaign number: 21V050000 (Air bags). The failure mileage was 227,000.

WE HAVE BEEN WAITING OVER 3 YEARS FOR THIS MATTER TO BE PUT IN TO AN ACTION PLAN. WE DRIVE THE NOTED 2008 YUKON DENALI DAILY TO AND FROM WORK AS WELL AS TAKE OUR PASSENGERS TO SCHOOL. WE ARE THE ORIGINAL OWNERS OF THE VEHICLE AND WISH TO REQUEST THAT THE AIR BAG NOTED BE SCHEDULED FOR REPLACEMENT. WE ARE NOT COMFORTABLE WITH THE NOTED ISSUES THAT IT MAY CAUSE AND FEEL THAT WE HAVE BEEN P PUT IN HARMS WAY VIA THE KNOWLEDGE AND DECISON TO REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE AIR BAG. PLEASE ADVISE WHEN WE WILL BE ABLE TO RECEIVE THE NEW PRODUCT SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION. TK HOLDINGS INC. ('TAKATA') HAS DECIDED THAT A DEFECT WHICH RELATES TO MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY EXISTS IN THE PASSENGER-SIDE FRONTAL AIRBAG INFLATORS INSTALLED AS ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT IN CERTAIN 2007 TO 2014 MODEL YEAR CADILLAC ESCALADE, ESCALADE ESV, AND ESCALADE EXT VEHICLES; CERTAIN CHEVROLET AVALANCHE, SILVERADO 1500, SILVERADO 2500/3500, SUBURBAN, AND TAHOE VEHICLES; AND CERTAIN GMC SIERRA 1500, SIERRA 2500/3500, YUKON, AND YUKON XL VEHICLES. THE DETERMINATION WAS MADE THAT THE PROPELLANT IN THESE INFLATORS MAY DEGRADE AFTER LONG-TERM EXPOSURE TO HIGH HUMIDITY AND TEMPERATURE CYCLING, WHICH COULD CAUSE THE INFLATOR TO RUPTURE DURING A DEPLOYMENT. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 GMC YUKON XL. WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT ANOTHER VEHICLE WAS SWERVING TOWARDS HER VEHICLE. THE CONTACT HAD TO DEPRESS THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL TO INCREASE SPEED AND AVOID A COLLISION; HOWEVER, THE OTHER VEHICLE LOST CONTROL AND CRASHED INTO THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE. THE CONTACT CALLED BAUMANN CHEVROLET BUICK GMC (2291 W STATE ROUTE 18, TIFFIN, OH 44883; 419-210-5850) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE PART FOR THE REMEDY WAS NOT AVAILABLE AND DID NOT KNOW WHEN PARTS WOULD ARRIVE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.

TAKATA RECALL - GM DEALERSHIP STATES "NO REMEDY". MIND BAFFLING TO ME THAT THEY ARE RECALLING A CRITICAL SAFETY COMPONENT THAT IMPACTS THE LIVES OF MY FAMILY AND THEY ARE ALLOWED TO STATE: NO REMEDY. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE TO ME AND NEEDS ATTENTION BY YOUR ORGANIZATION. GIVEN THAT TAKATA IS GOING OUT OF BUSINESS, THE LIKELIHOOD OF REMEDY IS NIL WITHOUT YOUR INTERVENTION. PLEASE HELP!

TAKATA RECALL. I AM UNABLE TO GET THE AIRBAGS REPLACED BY GMC. THERE ARE NO PARTS ACCORDING TO THE GMC DEALER THAT I CALLED TODAY 10-26-17. I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO PROCEED. IT IS HARD TO BELIEVE THESE AIRBAGS CANNOT BE REPLACED.

WE HAVE OWNED THIS VEHICLE FOR 4 MONTHS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE.

I HAVE AN ISSUE WITH MY YUKON 2008 DASHBOARD, IT IS CRACKED ON THE PASSENGER SIDE WHERE THE AIRBAG IS LOCATED AS WELL AS TODAY A BIG CRACK APPEARED OVER THE DRIVER SIDE WHERE THE INSTRUMENT PANEL HUMP IS LOCATED ON THE LEFT SIDE. I AM WORRIED THAT THE SAFETY DURING A COLLISION OR AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT FROM SHARP PLASTIC EXPOSED DUE TO THE CRACKS IN THE DASH CUTTING THE AIRBAG OR SHARDS OF PLASTIC BECOMING PROJECTILES POTENTIALLY CAUSING INJURY TO OCCUPANTS. I KEEP MY YUKON VERY CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED AND IT IS ALWAYS STORED IN MY GARAGE AND KEPT IN METICULOUS CONDITION AND LOOKS AND SMELLS NEW AND USE RIGOROUSLY A WINDSHIELD SUN GUARD TO PROTECT MY STEERING WHEEL AND DASHBOARD . I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE BACK IN 2008 AND BELIEVE IT WAS USED BY THE DEALERSHIP BECAUSE IT HAD MILES ON IT. I HAVE SEEN SEVERAL POSTS REGARDING THIS MANUFACTURING ISSUE AND MANY PEOPLE ARE COMPLAINING OF THE POOR MANUFACTURING MATERIALS USED ON THE DASHBOARD THAT MAKES THEM ALL CRACK ON THE SAME EXACT AREA I AM SPEAKING AS TO HAVE HAPPENED ON MINE. THE COST TO REPLACE IS APPROXIMATELY 800.00 WHICH INCLUDES PARTS AND LABOR. THIS SHOULDN'T BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER BUT OF THE MANUFACTURER AS THIS IS A DEFECTIVE PART. THIS IS RIDICULOUS TO HAVE PAID SO MUCH FOR A SUPPOSED QUALITY VEHICLE AND I WAS NEVER EXPECTING THIS HAPPENING AND THINK THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE; AND SEEING BY SO MANY COMMENTS ON THE SAME ISSUE THAT IT SHOULD BE A RECALL ITEM BECAUSE IT HAPPENS SO OFTEN IN THE SAME EXACT AREAS DUE TO THE SAFETY DURING A COLLISION CAUSING THE AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT FROM SHARP PLASTIC EXPOSED DUE TO THE CRACKS CAUSING THE PLASTIC TO PROJECT CAUSING POSSIBLE INJURY TO THE OCCUPANTS. *JS
