HORN IS DESIGNED POORLY WHICH HAS CAUSED SEVERAL CLOSE CALLS BECAUSE I WAS UNABLE TO HONK MY HORN AT A CRUCIAL TIME. INSTEAD OF BEING ABLE TO PRESS THE CENTER OF THE STEERING WHEEL TO HONK THE HORN, THERE ARE TWO SMALL BUTTONS AT THE 9 AND 3 POSITION THAT APPEAR TO BE POSITIONED TO PRESS WITH YOUR THUMB- IF YOUR HANDS ARE AT THE 9 & 3 POSITION. IN AN EMERGENT SITUATION, THE FIRST INCLINATION IS TO HIT THE MIDDLE OF THE STEERING WHEEL TO ACTIVATE THE HORN, NOT TO SEARCH FOR EITHER OF THE TWO LITTLE HORN BUTTONS. IN THE LATEST INCIDENT, I HAD THE RIGHT OF WAY ON A LEFT TURN ARROW, A CAR GOING STRAIGHT WENT THROUGH THE RED LIGHT AND NEARLY BROADSIDED ME. I WAS POUNDING ALL OVER THE STEERING WHEEL BECAUSE I COULDN'T FIND THE HORN. *TR

INSIDE FRONT DOOR HANDLES (BOTH SIDES) PLASTIC SHROUD HANDLE HOUSINGS SHATTERED MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO OPEN DOORS FROM INSIDE THE VEHICLE. THIS IS AN LX MODEL WITH STD. POWER WINDOWS. IN THE EVENT OF POWER LOSS (BATTERY) IT WOULD MAKE IT IMPOSSABLE TO EXIT VEHICLE, BECAUSE WINDOWS COULD NOT BE PUT DOWN TO USE OUTSIDE DOOR HANDLES.*AK
TROUBLE TURNING IGNITION WITH THE KEY. HAS HAD CHARGING SYSTEM CHECKED, HAVE TO MAKE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS BEFORE CAR WILL START HAVE ON A PREVIOUS OCCASION TAKEN IT TO PIEDMONT HONDA, ANDERSON, SC UNABLE TO GET ANY SERVICE OR A CHECK OF THE VEHICLE. THE DOOR OPENING HANDLE ON THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT DOOR HAS BROKEN REPEATEDLY HAS BEEN REPLACED SEVERAL TIMES THIS IS A COSTLY REPLACEMENT THAT NEEDS TO BE FIXED BY THE MANUFACTURER. THE THERMOSTAT KNOB CRACKS REPEATEDLY THIS ALSO HAS BEEN REPLACED SEVERAL TIMES. MANUFACTURER NEED TO MAKE A BETTER KNOB.*AK
WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY AND WHEN COMING TO A COMPLETE STOP STEERING WHEEL VIBRATED. WAS SITTING INSIDE THE CAR AUTOMATICALLY LOCKED THE DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR, WHICH IN TURN, LOCKED ALL DOORS. WENT TO GET OUT OF THE CAR, AND HAD TO USE FORCE TO UNLOCK THE DOOR . CONTACTED DEALER. *AK

TRUNK LEAKS
A SMALL SPOT OF SURFACE RUST APPERED ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE REAR QUARTER PANEL. ON SANDING DOWN THE AREA, IT WAS FOUND THAT THE SPOT WAS ACTUALLY RUSTING FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE PANEL.
INSIDE DOOR HANDLE CRACKED AND BROKE OFF ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE, MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO GET OUT TO OPEN THE DOOR FROM THE INSIDE. DEALER HAS REPLACED THE HANDLE. *AK
DRIVER SIDE DOOR MALFUNCTIONING AND GETTING WORSE.
DRIVER'S SIDE WINDOW IS OUT OF TRACK AND DOES NOT ROLL UP. ALSO, INSIDE DOOR HANDLE IS LOOSE.
PASSENGER DOOR STICKS AND IT IS VERY HARD TO OPEN.
THE DEFECTIVE DRIVER'S AND PASSENGER'S DOOR HANDLE OUTER AREA BROKE IN HALF, CAUSING THE HANDLE TO BECAME UNATTACHED IN WHICH THE DOOR HANDLE BECAME INOPERATIVE, PREVENTING THE USE OF THE DOOR IN EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT. *AK
TAILGATE FALLS SUDDENLY AND WITHOUT WARNING, STRIKING ADULTS ON THE HEAD OR SHOULDERS. *AK
THE TAILGATE OFTEN COMES DOWN UNEXPECTEDLY AND HITS THE PERSON LOADING OR UN LOADING ON THE HEAD OR BACK.
FRONT DOOR INSIDE MOULDING IS CRACKING ON PASSAGER AND DRIVERS SIDE. *AK
