I bought a car from a private seller on Craigslist. I've only driven the car for 2k miles before the check engine light came. On June 17, 2025, I went with my mechanic to inspect a car I was considering purchasing. The vehicle is a 2015 Honda Accord Sport, showing approximately 60,000 miles on the odometer. My mechanic performed a diagnostic scan, and everything appeared to be in good working order at the time. However, on June 23, 2025, I went to the DMV to register the vehicle, and I was informed that the car has a fraudulent odometer reading. The DMV has opened an investigation, but I won’t receive the results for a few months. I am now concerned that the car may not be safe to drive. It emits a burnt plastic smell after being driven and turned off, which raises serious safety concerns. I paid $10,700 for the vehicle and an additional $311 to register it and obtain a temporary plate.

I purchased a car from AutoNation Toyota Hayward in Hayward California on June 21, 2025. And on June 24,2025, the check engine light appeared. A mechanic checked my car for the code and informed me that the catalytic converter is faulty. The dealership had informed me that they check the car prior to be sold. As it goes through multiple checks. However, the car that was sold was faulty. They refused to answer my questions as to why a faulty car was sold. As I was driving the car back to the dealership, I could smell the fumes throughout my car.

I own a 2015 Honda Accord EX-L V6 3.5L that I purchased brand new from the dealership with zero miles. I’ve taken excellent care of the vehicle, and because I typically drive short distances, it only has 93,000 miles as of June 2025. Despite the low mileage and proper maintenance, the intake manifold plenum (part #17160-5G0-A00) now needs to be replaced due to significant deterioration. The material used for this part is poorly made, it corrodes and breaks down over time, causing vacuum leaks. This is a well-documented, widespread issue in Honda vehicles globally. In my case, the deterioration has caused performance and safety concerns and has rendered my car undrivable. To make matters worse, this part is on national backorder with no estimated delivery date. I’ve contacted numerous dealerships and suppliers with no success, leaving me without a working vehicle or timeline for repair. I rely on this car for transportation, work, and daily responsibilities. It is extremely frustrating that a critical engine component is both defective and unavailable, especially when so many other Honda owners are facing the same problem. I am filing this complaint to raise awareness and request a timely investigation and resolution.

ABS Modulator Assembly has left me stranded I see that this has been a major issue for Honda's. There has not been any recalls for this issue but they see that it is a major problem. I was told by King Honda in Auburn Alabama that this is a $2000 dollar issue and they do not know when the part will be available due to being on backorder. Please advise.

While making a left U-turn my car suddenly restarted which caused a loss of power steering and acceleration. This issue occurred 2 more times until I was able to straighten the car out into the intended lane of traffic. During the vehicle restart, I noticed several dash lights appear in the left area of the dashboard, however could not identify the meaning.

Getting error P2602 Low Voltage Coolant Pump. No visible sings of failure or damage to the pump or wiring. Tested power, ground, and signal and found them all to be ok. Vehicle has 133,000 miles. Engine is not running hot at all. Very cool to the touch, error P2602 causes car to go into limp mode and can not drive past 40 mph. Issue could be from Pump recalls from other honda models that used the same pump that is in the 2015 Honda Hybrids. Honda did not include 2015 Honda Hybrid in the recall when they should have, because its the same pump that was recalled in other hondas. Took the car to dealer in Auburn, WA, Hinshaw's Honda. Please get report from them. To get a second opinion took car to an independent Honda repair. Again same issue, stating pump replacement.

After restarting the vehicle, the vehicle worked as designed. The contact stated that while his daughter was driving, she became aware of an abnormal burning odor. The power steering became inoperable while driving. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, and the contact was informed that the electric power steering assist had failed, and the electric motor was overactive. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 130,000.

The contact owned a 2015 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked outside, the vehicle caught fire. The authorities were called to the scene and extinguished the fire. Upon inspection of the vehicle, the fire department determined that either the battery wiring and/or the roof wiring had caused the fire. The vehicle was towed to an independent tow yard where it was deemed a total loss. There were no injuries or property damage as a result of the fire. The dealer was notified of the failure. The manufacturer had yet to be notified. The vehicle was deemed a total loss. The failure mileage was approximately 92,000.

Problems began at 50,000 miles and now at 60,000 a year and 1/2 later they are ongoing . Electrical and engine …. Honda knows all the problems bless I am having are in many of their models! This is DANGEROUs and Honda is negligent ! First it was my car wouldn’t start. The alternator went also It needed to have the front and rear seal replaced . That is crazy ! It must be leaking oil and needed the seals due to improper torque. Had that repaired and within 2 weeks I kept saying it wasn’t running right. THEN My car overheated after driving for 10 min on a busy highway in Atlanta. Smoke pouring out of the hood. I was trapped and couldn’t get out because of traffic. HORRIFIC experience.! Electrical issue began at 50,000 miles at the same time . Electrical issues ongoing AND engine does not run right. It’s rough loud , judders , it can be sluggish or no responsive, Last year my car had 50,000 miles. It had gone through a battery every year and 1-2. Then 16 months ago it wouldn’t start. Since I have replace the starter , alternator , battery and battery cable. In individual events of warning lights or failing to start. Today the charging systems warning light and fcw light flashed while driving. The electrical system in this car is a known problem. It MUST be recalled. The 4cl has now time to recall the v-6 for torque and parasitic battery drain . This is potential for fire , car sudden loss of power it’s negligent to not recall . I have invoice after invoice but the problem persists . Why are you only recalling the 4L engine ? There is a class action about battery drain but only for 4 L? I know the didnt produce many accord V6 but the V6 is used in the Acura and I believe the Odysse. I have called and called Honda . I emailed the head of Honda in Japan . He sent my email back to the dealer. This is my 4th Honda. We were an entire Honda family but not any more . Safety is not first .My accord problems will result in a terrible accident . Please do something

There was a recall on some of the 2015 for engine cutting out at times when you turn and try to accelerate and nothing happens. Well its been doing it with my car but they say not part of recalls. But at times I take a turn, can't go anywhere cause gas pedal don't go till I wait a few seconds and than it goes. Dangerous driving at times

Bought the car used from Michigan car dealer in Shelby MI. Car had 44,820 miles. Bought the car 4/29/23. The day after I bought it the starter would not engage properly and makes a loud grinding periodically and have to put it in neutral to start it.

I Was driving my vehicle on, standing on the Expressway heading east. The roads were snow and sleek. Out of nowhere. My vehicle start to lose power. And suddenly stopped. I was stuck in the middle of the highway, very scared and feared for my life and I feared for the other peoples lives and their vehicles and hoping no collision occurs. Luckily. I was able to avoid the collision. And a tow truck came to tow my car to the Honda dealership. I had a recall for the drive shaft. A corroded drive shaft broke on which the vehicle was unmovable. My vehicle also roll away when I shifted to parked and I had to set the parking brake. This almost cost me the risk of a crash or injury without prior warning. And the Honda dealership did not correct the problem. I had to tow The vehicle To my mechanic shop and the next following day my mechanic expected that my drive shaft was not good. Mechanic had to order The drive actual shaft And get it replaced and fixed.

Starter motor.Will not turn the engine over to start. When the push button start is pushed you get a buzzing sound because the starter is not engageing the flywheel on the torque converter.Sometimes you have to push the start button as many as 5-10 times before the engine will start. I feel this is a safety issue because if you have a medical issue and need to go for help and the vehicle will not start that is a big problem. Honda knows about this issue but will do nothing about it.Honda's tsb 16-002 does not fix this problem. I have replaced 4 starters on this vehicle not including the original starter and still have the same problem.This problem needs to be addressed before there is a serious problem caused by this issue.This has been a problem on this vehicle for approx. 5yrs..

May 20, 2022 Crash

I was coming out of a turn on a local street, going very slow. My vehicle ended up crossing the two lane road and hit a telephone pole. The pole did not fall down. Thankfully, neither myself nor my front passenger were seriously injured. We had on seat belts and the air bags DID NOT deploy. There was no warning of a crash in terms of instruments or trouble with handling. The vehicle motor was shut off because I tried to cut the motor after impact and it was already stalled.The vehicle was declared a total loss. No one to my knowledge did any safety inspections. I have since learned that the crash may be a result of some known defects in the model. I have never received any recall notices in the years of owning the car. I purchased as certified pre-owned in 2018. This is a courtesy notice to help others.

Driving on freeway went and applied foot to gas pedal and car goes into limp mode causing in ability to drive as there isnt any power and mil light starts to blink and or will set and if it sets the traction steering and tp light also come on. Have to pull over turn car off and then the car will go this mil if sets is a p0304 code but light will go off.

The engine makes a very loud rattle at cold startup for about 1 to 3 seconds. It only makes this noise when starting the car for the first time that day, unless it has been sitting for 5+ hours, then will rattle again at cold startup. Also, The engine burns 1 quart of oil approximately every 2500-3000 miles requiring additional oil to be added.

Driving at Interstate speeds, I had the engine suddenly **THUNK** and lose power. I limped it to the side of the road to get out of traffic. I went to investigate and the vehicle would not even idle. It just shut off After having it towed back to local service company, looked at, and the dealership I bought it at to look at, I am told the main bearing failed on the connecting rod. The thunks I hear is the rod spinning in there, shearing off metal shavings that are now all over inside the engine bay. Honda has a TSB out for the car, for this exact issue, but my VIN number somehow doesn't fit in their window. Component that failed - Main bearing on the Connecting Rod Safety of myself and others - Gave out while driving highway speeds, which caused the car to lose power to keep it at highway speeds. Had to limp it to the shoulder Reproduction of problem - Yes, at an independent service center and a dealership service center Component inspected - not by any of the listed people, just the service centers Warning lamps, messages, symptoms - None whatsoever I have amazon receipts of items purchased for all at home maintenance done on the vehicle since it was bought new. I do not have a scanner handy for the service center documentation and receipts

On May, 25, 2021 my family were on the highway and all of a sudden the car started stalling. In which the accelerater started braking instead of moving, the car was slowing with all the lights turning on on the dashboard. FCU failure message flashing with engine sign, Ldw, Fcw, tire pressure, stability sign, steering sign all came on. It almost caused us to have an accident. My kids my wife everyones were screaming because other cars and trucks around us, and we didn't know what's going on with out car and other cars were honking at us. We were all so scared and my wife was crying, my kids were crying. We signal with our hands out of the car to get to the shoulder and stopped the car. We thought we are going to die if any of the trucks or cars hit us. Never scared in our life like that day. So still my car is on my driveway parked. There is a recall of the 6 cylinder of 2015 manufactured. But not for the 4 cylinder same safety issues other people have. I contacted the American Honda but they are denying any safety issues 2015 Honda accord 4 cylinder have engin failure. Please issue a safety recall so it will be safer before someone's family is put in danger instead of not knowing when their cars engin fails.

THE CLUSTER LIGHTS TURN ON AND EVERYTHING POWERED BY THE BATTERY IS WORKING, WITHOUT THE ENGINE STARTING. I HAVE REPLACED THE BATTERY 3 TIMES (MARCH 2018, JANUARY 2020, MARCH 2021). PREVIOUS BATTERY WAS TESTED AND HAD PLENTY OF VOLTAGE LEFT AND WAS CHARGING WELL, SO THE ALTERNATOR IS WORKING WELL. KEY FOB BATTERY REPLACED 2 TIMES, MOST RECENTLY DECEMBER 2020 AND IS WORKING FINE. I BELIEVE THE STARTER IS DEFECTIVE AND I HAVE READ COUNTLESS REPORTS ONLINE STATING THE SAME ISSUE, AND THIS NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED AND ADDRESSED, ESPECIALLY BECAUSE THE PART ITSELF IS BETWEEN $150-180 ONLINE AND THE DEALERSHIP COST TO REPLACE THIS IS $1K AND ABOVE...

I HAVE A 2015 HONDA ACCORD WITH 51K MILES. I HAD TO REPLACE THE BATTERY AT 40K MILES. I RECENTLY HAD THE SAME INTERMITTEN STARTING PROBLEM THAT MANY OF YOU DESCRIBED. SOMETIMES I HAVE TO TURN THE IGNITION KEY 20 TIMES FOR THE CAR TO START. I BROUGHT THE CAR TO THE HONDA DEALER. THEY PROBABLY SAW 100 OF SIMILAR CASES. HOWEVER, THEY ACTED AS IF MY STARTING PROBLEM IS A RARE CASE, AND CHARGED ME $900 TO REPLACE THE STARTER. I AM DISAPPOINTED WITH BOTH HONDA AND THE DEALER.

THE VEHICLE IS CONSUMING EXCESSIVE OIL HAS BEEN DOING SO FOR LAST 20,000 MILES OR THAT'S WHEN I NOTICED IT. IT'S LOSING A QUART EVERY 1500 MILES. IT ALSO SEEMS TO HAVE BAD SEALS ON THE DOORS AND WINDSHIELD AIR SEEMS TO BE GETTING INSIDE WHILE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION. AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS MAKES UNBEARABLE NOISES WHICH IS A HUGE DISCOMFORT TO ALL PASSENGERS IN THE VEHICLE HONDA REFUSED TO MAKE ANY CORRECTION ON THESE PROBLEMS. AS BOTH ARE MANUFACTURE DEFECTS. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 25 MPH, THE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT INSPECTED THE TIRES AND NOTICED NOTHING WRONG. THE NEXT DAY THE CONTACT RE-CALIBRATED THE SYSTEM AND THE WARNING LIGHT WAS NO LONGER ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT THEN STATED THAT WHILE IN REVERSE THE BATTERY SENSOR LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY STALLED. THE CONTACT RESTARTED THE VEHICLE HOWEVER, A LITTLE WHILE LATER WHILE MOVING THE VEHICLE, THE VEHICLE STALLED AGAIN. THE CONTACT RESTARTED THE VEHICLE AGAIN AND DROVE BACK TO THE RESIDENCE. THE CONTACT CONTACTED FIRST TEXAS HONDA (3400 STECK AVE, AUSTIN, TX 78757; (512) 220-1121) WHO STATED THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS ON THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 58,973.

IT IS A KNOWN ISSUE AT THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP, BUT YET THEY COULD NOT GIVE ME A CONCRETE ANSWER AS TO IF REPLACING THE STARTER WILL FIX THE PROBLEM LONG TERM. WITH A QUOTED REPLACEMENT COST OF $1,000 I AM LEERY TO HAVE THE STARTER REPLACED IF IT DOES NOT ACTUALLY FIX THE PROBLEM. I HAVE BEEN STRANDED MULTIPLE TIMES IN THE COLD BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUES. A VEHICLE WITH ONLY 38,XXX MILES AND BARELY OUT OF WARRANTY SHOULD NOT BE HAVING THESE ISSUE. I AM OKAY WITH FIXING A FAULTY PART, BUT I AM NOT OKAY WITH A REOCCURRING ISSUES NOT HAVING AN EXACT SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM. ARE THE STARTERS IN THESE VEHICLES TRULY BAD OR IS IT SOMETHING ELSE WITHIN THE CAR THAT IS CAUSING THE STARTER TO BLOW? A RECALL OR RESEARCH OUTSIDE OF HONDA (BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY THEY ARE IGNORING THE ISSUES) NEEDS TO BE ROLLED OUT TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF, AND FIX, THESE STARTING PROBLEMS. STARTERS SHOULD NOT FAIL PRIOR TO 50,000 MILES. IF THEY ARE CONSTANTLY FAILING AT LOW MILEAGE, THERE NEEDS TO BE A RECALL DONE WITH THE OPTION OF REPLACING THE ORIGINAL STARTERS WITH NON-FAULTY PARTS. IF THE STARTERS ARE SOLID PARTS AS-IS, RESEARCH NEEDS TO BE DONE TO DETERMINE WHY THE STARTERS ARE FAILING. TOOK IT TO HONDA TO TELL THEM MY SITUATION PAID 130$ FOR THEM TO TELL ME NOTHING IS WRONG. WHEN THEY DID THE DIAGNOSE THEY SAID NOTHING CAME UP ON THEIR END. I WAS ABOUT TO PARK MY 2015 HONDA ACCORD LX IN A PARKING SPOT IN PARKING LOT IN FRONT OF A SHOPPING CENTRE. THE CAR WAS CRUISING AT 2-3 MILES PER HOUR AT THIS TIME. THERE WAS A SUDDEN AND RAPID ACCELERATION WHICH WAS HIGHLY DISPROPORTIONATE TO THE SLOW SPEED WHILE I WAS ENTERING THE PARKING SPOT. I APPLIED THE BRAKES BUT IT DIDN'T HELP STOP OR SLOW DOWN THE VEHICLE. THE CAR MOVED FORWARD WITH THE SAME RAPID ACCELERATION IN THE EMPTY PARKING SPOT IN FRONT AND STARTED MOVING TOWARDS THE NEXT PARKING ROW IN FRONT. I SWUNG THE CAR TO THE RIGHT ON TO THE ROAD BETWEEN THE TWO PARKING ROWS IN ORDER TO AVOID COLLISION WITH THE CARS IN THE NEXT ROW. THE CAR WAS STILL MOVING WITH RAPID ACCELERATION. I TRIED APPLYING BRAKES HARD BUT THE CAR WOULDN'T SLOW DOWN OR STOP. I BRUSHED THE BUMPER OF ANOTHER CAR IN THE PROCESS. I FINALLY HIT ANOTHER CAR PARKED NEAR A CURB AT THE END OF THE PARKING LOT. THE IMPACT WAS SO HIGH THAT THE OTHER CAR SWUNG 90 DEGREES. MY CAR STOPPED AFTER GETTING STUCK ON THE CURB AND WEDGED AGAINST THE OTHER CAR. THE AIRBAGS EXPLODED DUE TO THE HUGE IMPACT. I MOVED MY FOOT TO THE BRAKE AND FELT THE BRAKES WERE WORKING. I WAS ABLE TO COAST TO AN OPEN AREA BESIDE THE HIGHWAY AND STOP THE CAR SAFELY. AFTER STOPPING I NOTICE THE ENGINE OIL AND SERVICE LIGHTS ON AND ENGINE WAS OFF BUT POWER WAS ON. I SHUT THE POWER OFF. AFTER A MINUTE I RESTARTED THE CAR AND IT RUNS LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED. ENGINE MISFIRES AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS WITH THE TACHOMETER SURGING 1,000 RPM'S WITH EACH MISFIRE. YOU CANNOT MAINTAIN YOUR SPEED AND THEREFORE ARE NOT ABLE TO SAFELY DRIVE ON THE HIGHWAY. TOOK IT TO A DEALER WHO STATED SOMEONE ELSE HAD RECENTLY BEEN IN WITH THE SAME PROBLEM, BUT COULD NOT RECREATE THE PROBELM ON A TEST DRIVE. THEY RESET THE COMPUTER TO FACTORY SETTINGS, BUT DIDN'T HEAR BACK YET FROM THE OWNER IF IT RESOLVED THE ISSUE. THEY DIDN'T RESET MY CAR'S COMPUTER, HOWEVER. MY PROBLEM APPEARS TO MATCH THAT OF NHTSA ID NUMBER 10838521.

ENGINE MISFIRES AT 50-60 MPH WITH THE TACHOMETER SURGING FROM 1400 RPM TO 2500 RPM WITH EACH MISFIRE. YOU CANNOT MAINTAIN YOUR SPEED AND THEREFORE ARE NOT ABLE TO SAFELY DRIVE ON THE HIGHWAY. TOOK IT TO THE DEALER WHO STATED THAT HONDA HAS BEEN AWARE OF THIS ISSUE FOR SOME TIME BUT DOES NOT HAVE A FIX FOR IT YET.

WITH 800 MILES ON THE VEHICLE, IT STALLED AT 65 MPH. TOOK IT TO THE DEALER, THEY COULD NOT RECREATE THE PROBLEM. I TOLD THEM I DID NOT WANT THE CAR BACK UNTIL THE PROBLEM WAS FIXED. AFTER 10 DAYS, WE RELUCTANTLY TOOK THE CAR BACK. THE DEALER SAID THEY REPORTED THE PROBLEM TO HONDA, BUT I REALLY DON'T KNOW IF THEY DID. THEY SAID "DRIVER ERROR". IN LATE NOVEMBER, WE RECEIVED A SAFETY RECALL LETTER SAYING OUR CAR MIGHT STALL AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. WE HAD THE SOFTWARE UPDATED, THE 4 DAYS LATER THE CAR STALLED AGAIN. THANKFULLY IN A PARKING LOT. IT TOOK 10 MINUTES TO GET IT STARTED. RIGHT AWAY, WE TOOK IT TO THE DEALER, REMOVED OUR LICENSE PLATES, AND INFORMED THE SERVICE MANAGER WE WOULD NOT DRIVE IT AGAIN. HE SAIS IT WAS "DRIVER ERROR". THE NEXT WEEK WE TRADED THE CAR FOR A NEW FORD FUSION. IT COST US SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS TO DO THIS, BUT WE SAID IT WASN'T WORTH THE CHANCE THAT IT WOULD STALL AGAIN. THE DEALER AND MAYBE HONDA DID NOT STEP UP TO THE PLATE ON THIS MATTER. THEY PUT IT ALL ON ME, THE CONSUMER. THANKS FOR LISTENING.

WHILE DRIVING IN STOP AND GO TRAFFIC, EITHER ON THE HIGHWAY OR ON RESIDENTIAL STREETS, OCCASIONALLY, THE VEHICLE WILL HESITATE. THIS HESITATION WILL LAST 1-3 SECONDS AND THEN THE VEHICLE WILL ACCELERATE AS EXPECTED. THIS HESITATION CAN CAUSE A DANGEROUS SITUATION SINCE THE VEHICLE WILL NOT MOVE AS EXPECTED. THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED NEW, AND THIS HAS OCCURRED SINCE ITS PURCHASE. I'VE TAKEN IT TO THE HONDA DEALER, BUT THEY CAN NOT DUPLICATE IT SINCE IT IS AN INTERMITTENT ISSUE. THEIR RESPONSE WAS TO STOP USING THE ECON BUTTON. I HAVE STOPPED USING THIS FEATURE, BUT THE ISSUE HAS PERSISTED, (ALTHOUGH IT HAS LESSENED IN OCCURRENCES). THE ISSUE CAN OCCUR 1-2 TIMES PER WEEK, WITH THE LAST OCCURRENCE ON 12/8/15. THERE IS A TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN ON THE VEHICLE 15-036, WHICH MAY OR MAY NOT BE RELATED, BUT LAST TIME AT THE DEALER, THEY COULDN'T FIND THE TSB, SO THE SOFTWARE UPDATE LIKELY HAS NOT BEEN MADE TO THE VEHICLE.

I JUST PURCHASED THE CAR ON JULY 2015. MY CAR HAS 5,350 MILES. I NOTICE WHEN I DRIVE THE VEHICLE IT TAKES A LOT OF ENERGY TO ADJUST TO THE SPEED ALMOST LIKE A PUSH BACK/STALL. THERE IS ALSO RATTLING WHEN I DRIVE THAT I CAN'T ATTRIBUTE TO ANY PERSONAL ITEMS.

INTERMITTENTLY, BUT ALWAYS UPON ACCELERATION (COULD BE PULLING ONTO THE HIGHWAY FROM A STOPPED POSITION, MERGING/SPEEDING UP TO GET ON THE HIGHWAY OR PASS ANOTHER VEHICLE, OR STARTING TO MOVE WHEN THE LIGHT TURNS GREEN) THE CAR WILL FALL FLAT WITH NO POWER. IT DOESN'T STALL, JUST DOESN'T RESPOND TO THE GAS PEDAL. MOST TIMES, HAPPENS IN SECOND GEAR. RELEASING THE GAS PEDAL AND THEN PRESSING IT AGAIN MOST TIMES RESOLVES THE PROBLEM. SOMETIMES, IT TAKES A FEW TRIES. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS PROBLEM, AND I HAVE HAD MANY MOTORISTS SWERVE AROUND ME OR BLOW THE HORN AT ME BECAUSE I CAN'T GET THE CAR MOVING FAST ENOUGH. I JUST SPENT $30,000 ON THIS NEW CAR, AND THE DEALERSHIP CANNOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM SO THEY'RE SENDING ME ON MY WAY WITH A VEHICLE THAT'S A POTENTIAL DEATH TRAP.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,200.
