Gear shift ignition and parts of buttons come on and off. Gear shift lights not at all anymore. The entire tire warped from around tire like it been detached from car and fell outward. I’ve had multiple fuel issues two brand new catalytic converters fuel pump and system cleaned put on filters changed and still have issues.

We were driving our 2016 Honda Accord LX down the highway and our vehicle started sputtering, causing us to swerve and gain control/slow down rapidly. The car could no longer accelerate to high speeds (could only go about 35 MPH), and a bunch of engine lights came on the dash. Upon taking it to a Honda dealer, they diagnosed the problem with the high-pressure fuel pump. Apparently our year of Honda Accord (2013-2017 models with 2.4L engine) had a recall on the fuel pump system, but that recall was associated with the fuel pump impeller. This existing recall number is 34V-858, MFR Campaign ID VIJ. It does seem odd that I would face a similar issue to this recall, but this high-pressure fuel pump failure is not covered under the same recall program according to Honda. I did submit for potential reimbursement under this recall, but Honda denied our claim. Could this issue be related to the same issue and therefore should this be part of that recall? This was a dangerous incident that happened going at high speeds on the highway, and we were simply lucky that our swerving didn't lead to an accident. Given that a more recent recall from Honda (2023-2024 Honda Accord) is associated specifically with the high-pressure fuel pump failure (Recall # 24V-763), I think it's reasonable that this same issue could apply to older models of the Accord as well.

Went out driving with my family, and next thing I know. I have a check engine light active, after having three diagnostic tests ran my vehicle, it was determined that it was my low pressure fuel pump is going bad. And now being notified that the high pressure fuel pump is needing a replacement. I have noticed there was a recall between the years of 2013-2017 Honda Accords. I have a 2016 with the same problems as the recall. My vehicle just barely broke fifty thousand miles.

1) power train system and anti lock brake system. Base on the code found in the fix finder report my solutions were to replace the fuel pump and battery. The battery was changed one week ago and it is telling me that the battery must be change again due to an electrical issue. Yes, it is available for inspection upon request. 2) While driving my car began to accelerate picking up speed by itself and then suddenly dropped the speed. I had to pull over and stop the car. 3)unknown 4)No 5)The engine light, power steering light turned on today 8/11/2023 while driving. My car began to drive strange and accelerating by itself.

On Wednesday, September 21, 2022, my wife was parking her car in the parking lot of a TJ Maxx, 4220 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122. As she turned right into the parking space, at a very low rate of speed, 1-2 mph, the engine revved and launched her into another parked vehicle. Once the engine revved and launched she had both feet on the brake pedal. It did light damage to the vehicle she hit and moderate damage to her 2016 Honda Accord Coupe. The impact was hard enough to deploy the driver side airbag. No one was in the other vehicle and she did not sustain serious injury. The car was towed to a body shop. The other vehicle was drivable and insurances were exchanged.

I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY WHEN ALL OF THE SUDDEN MY VEHICLE STARTED STALLING, THEN IT SIMPLY LOST ALL FORCE AND WOULD NOT GO. I HAD TO GET THE VEHICLE TOWED AND UPON INSPECTION IT RESULTED WITH A DEFECTIVE FUEL PUMP THAT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. THE VENICE IS NOT THAT OLD TO HAVE THAT KIND OF ISSUE, AND A CO-WORKER OF MINE HAD THE SAME ISSUE WITH THEIR VEHICLE WHICH IS ALSO A 2016 HONDA ACCORD. I DID SOME RESEARCH IN SOME FORUMS AND IT SEEMED THAT MANY PEOPLE WERE REPORTING SIMILAR ISSUES WITH THE FUEL PUMP WITH MODELS BETWEEN 2015 THROUGH 2019.

AFTER I DID SOME RESEARCH I BELIEVE THE FUEL PUMP OF THIS VEHICLE CONSTANTLY FAILED. THE VEHICLE TAKES MUCH LONGER TO START UP, SOMETIMES IT TAKE COUPLE OF TRY TO GET IT STARTED, AND, IT ALSO CAUSED ENGINE TO STALL AND LOSE POWER DURING THE DRIVE OR BACKING UP.

I WAS ON MY WAY TO WORK ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY AND MY CAR STARTED STALLING A JERKED FORWARD ALMOST CAUSING A COLLISION I PULLED OVER TO A SAFE AREA AND CALLED MY FAMILY MEMBER HE HAD TO DRIVE IT TO ADVANCE AUTO AND THEY DIAGNOSED IT AS A FAULTY FUEL PUMP. I CALLED HONDA AND MY INSURANCE COMPANY AND GOT THE CAR TOWED TO HONDA WHERE IT WAS ALSO DIAGNOSED AS A FUEL PUMP TO BE REPLACED PER THEM MY CAR HAD NO OTHER ISSUES AS I ALWAYS KEEP UP THE MAINTENANCE ON THE CAR AS I'M STILL PAYING FOR IT. THE ONLY COMPANY THAT HAS THIS PART WAS HONDA SO THEY ORDERED THE PART AND ATTEMPTED TO REPLACE IT. ONCE I RECEIVED MY CAR BACK I NOTICED A STRONG GAS SMELL AND STALLING TO CRANK. I CALLED THEM AND HAD IT TOWED BACK AND THEY SAID IT WAS A GAS LEAK THEY HAD TO REPLACE THE WHOLE SYSTEM THEY JUST PUT IN. ONCE I RECEIVED THE CALL BACK I NOTICED THE SAME THING BUT THIS TIME THE SCENT WAS SIGNIFICANTLY STRONG CAUSING HEADACHES TO MYSELF AND OTHER PEOPLE I ALSO HAVE A VIDEO OF THE GAS POURING OUT FROM UNDER MY CAR AFTER I HAD JUST FILLED UP THE TANK. I TOLD HONDA THE FIRST TIME MY CONCERNS ABOUT IT BEING FIXED PROPERLY AS I HAVE A GAS WATER HEATER IN MY GARAGE WHERE THE CAR IS KEPT THEY ENSURED ME IT WAS FINE . I STILL HAD RESERVATIONS ABOUT DRIVING THE CAR BEING STRANDED OR IT CATCHING ON FIRE WHEN I RECEIVED IT BACK THE THIRD TIME . THE ISSUE STARTED WHEN I WAS BARELY OVER 42,000 MILES, MAYBE 7 MONTHS AGO IN OCTOBER OF 2019. THE CAR WOULD STALL AFTER IT WAS PARKED FOR A LITTLE OVER 5 MINUTES. I REPLACED THE BATTERY ON IT AND EVERYTHING WORKED FINE FOR ANOTHER COUPLE OF DAYS. THEN, IT STALLED AGAIN. I TOOK IT TO THE HONDA SERVICE CENTER AND THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO FIND A DEFECT ON THE CAR. I DECIDED TO TAKE IT RUN A DIAGNOSTICS THROUGH A THIRD PARTY AFTER TWO DAYS AGO, IT STALLED AS I WAS DRIVING HOME. THE DIAGNOSTICS SAID MY CAR HAS A DEFECTIVE FUEL PUMP. WHAT IS REALLY IRRESPONSIBLE ON HONDA'S PART IS THE FACT THAT I TAKE IT EVERY TIME AND I HAVE ASKED THEM TO RUN THIS DIAGNOSTICS AND THEY HAVE NOT DONE SO.

I HAVE TAKEN MY CAR TO TWO MECHANICS AND BOTH HAVE DIAGNOSED MY CAR AND ADVISED ME THAT MY HIGN PRESSURE FUEL PUMP IS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDS REPLACING. I ONLY HAVE 28,000 MILES ON MY VEHICLE AND SHOULD NOT BE EXPERIENCING A DEFECTIVE HIGN PRESSURE FUEL PUMP AT SUCH LOW MILEAGE. THE CAR HAS A HARD TIME STARTING AND STALLS WHEN I AM DRIVING IT ON THE HIGHWAY AND WILL NOT EXCEED 60 MILES PER HOUR SPEED. STALLING COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT AND IS HAZARDOUS.

NO LIGHTS OR ANYTHING WAS LEFT ON I HAD TURN MY CAR COMPLETELY OFF AND THEN I TRIED TO START IT AND IT WOULD NOT START I WAS ONLY THERE LIKE LONG ENOUGH TO ORDER MY FOOD AND THEN TO LEAVE SO MAYBE 20 MINUTES IN MY CAR WOULD NOT START ,DUE TO THE BATTERY. MY FUEL GAUGE/RANGE HAS BECOME INACCURATE. I ONLY DRIVE MY CAR MONDAY-FRIDAY, THE SAME ROUTE, SAME MILES, SAME CONDITIONS. AT THE END OF THE WEEK, I NORMALLY HAVE LESS THAN A QUARTER OF A TANK LEFT, WITH APPROX 110-120 MILE RANGE. RECENTLY, IT IS SHOWING I HAVE REMAINING RANGE OF 260, BUT IT IS STILL REQUIRING 12+ GALLONS TO FILL. MY MPG PER TRIP/OVERALL HAS NOT CHANGED. TOOK TO DEALER, THEY "CLAIM" THEY CAN'T FIND ANYTHING, I SUSPECT IT'S BECAUSE I HAVE EXTENDED WARRANTY WITH -0- DEDUCTIBLE. THEY ALSO ASKED ME TO BRING IT IN ON A FULL TANK INSTEAD OF 1/2 TANK OR LESS WHERE I NOTICE THE PROBLEM BEGINS. I GET AN AVERAGE MPG EACH TRIP OF 32.5 MPG, I HAVE A 15 GALLON TANK, THERE IS NO WAY ON THE LAST 3 GALLONS OF GAS I WOULD GET 86.66 MPG. THAT IS WELL BEYOND MFG SPECS.

RE: NHTSA RECALL ID 19V060; THIS RECALL APPEARS TO ONLY IMPACT V6 HONDA ACCORDS, HOWEVER, I FEEL IT SHOULD BE EXPANDED TO FOUR-CYLINDER AS WELL. I HAVE NOTICED MY CAR ALMOST STALL-OUT ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS SINCE OWNERSHIP. MY CAR HAS ABOUT 57K MILES ON IT, IT HAD 6K WHEN I PURCHASED IT CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED. TYPICALLY, THIS HAPPENS WHEN I'M SITTING IN A PARKED POSITION IN IDLE. BUT, IT HAS ALSO OCCURRED WHEN I PUT THE CAR IN GEAR, START DRIVING AT A LOW-SPEED (DOWN OUR ALLEY), AND I FEEL GAPS IN THE POWER WHEN I PUSH THE GAS. IT WILL ACCELERATE AT A CERTAIN RATE, THEN STOP, EVEN THOUGH I'VE NOT LIFTED MY FOOT OFF THE ACCELERATOR. I WAS UNSURE WHAT THIS WAS RELATED TO (SPARK PLUGS), BUT THIS RECALL HAS MADE ME THINK IT'S ALSO RELATED TO THE FUEL SYSTEM. THIS HAS HAPPENED ON AT LEAST FOUR SEPARATE OCCASIONS, BUT ONLY RELATIVELY RECENTLY (WITHIN THE PAST 6 MONTHS OR SO).

VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS ,INCLUDING "METHYL ISOBUTYL KETONE" ARE ENTERING THE VEHICLE CABIN WHILE THE ENGINE IS ON. THIS IS CAUSING SERIOUS EYE IRRITATION AND BREATHING IRRITATION. THIS DESPITE THE AIR CONDITIONING BEING ON, ALL VENTS CLOSED, ALL WINDOWS UP. I'VE ATTACHED THE RESULTS OF A "PASSIVE DIFFUSE MONITOR" THAT WAS USED IN THE CABIN TO MONITOR THE AIR QUALITY FOR APPROXIMATELY ONE WEEK IN DECEMBER 2016.
