I’ve had 2 readings one from Honda and one from a different mechanic shop. One reads bad fuel injectors from the mechanic shop and the other from the Honda dealership reads bad turbo. All lights on my dash board. I didn’t have any lights on before my fuel pump was replaced due to that recall and now my dash board looks like Christmas lights.

My car has been sending several warnings including: Brake System: Electric Parking Brake System Problem, Brake System Problem, Brake Hold System Problem, Adaptive Cruise Control System Problem, Collision Mitigation Braking System Problem, Road Departure Mitigation System Problem, Supplemental Restraint System Problem, and Power Steering Reduction Problem. My car is not even 100,000 miles yet. I have had all maintenance done on time and recently had brakes replaced. I have changed my battery and tires twice within the 6 years of owning the car. It seems this is a regular complaint for such low mileage. I was a Toyota person but switched to Honda for their safety performance, and now I am regretting that. I read that this is the Turbo needing to be changed. This part should be recalled if it is failing soon. A person who just bought a car should not be paying $4500 in repairs already. I had the Fuel Pump recall replacement done, and had the brakes done. I am changing the spark plugs and ignition coils next week. Honda needs to do something about this and I am looking to join in the class action suit against them, if they do not correct the issue.
All WARNING lights have turned on my dash. Ive done research and this is happening a lot of people that own 2018-2020 honda accord 1.5L.
All types of lights popped up such as emissions system problem Tire pressure monitoring Brake system problem Vehicle stability Electric power Hill start Acc Collision mitigation Road departure mitigation
My dash is a christmas tree, been to 3 shops. Many codes are popping up ans showing needs turbocharger. Honda wants almost 3000 to fix. Drives fine but so many lights. I have tons of codes popping up. So many other car owners with same issue.
The lights on my car have been displaying on and off for two years. I keep being told that it is a battery issue, I replace the battery and months later all of my car lights are back on. The car drives hard, and stalls. Very unsafe.
All warning lights turn on on the dash board. I replaced the battery, airbag module, and ABS module and I'm still having the same issue
Lights go crazy in dashboard apparently due to constan cylinder misfires, spark plugs changed, same issue, fuel injectors and coils changed, same happened keep it getting fix and the problem persist, making the car dangerous to drive, since it loses power since the car it’s not able to respond and work as it should be Having engine, steering and brake issues, problem has been confirmed by dealer. It hasn’t been inspected by manufacturer. The lost of power and acceleration it’s probably one of the symptoms before all the light go on again. It’s been several times that this happens and I know for a fact that many people are experiencing this issues due to turbo or head gasket failure. Might get that inspected soon.

Fuel PUMP FAILED, car stalled and was unresponsive
In December 2024, all of the lights on my dashboard came on & my car would not accelerate. The code indicated that it was a "Cylinder 2 Misfire." I replaced the ignition coil for cylinder 2 but my car continued to have the same issues. I had all 4 ignition coils replaced and all 4 spark plugs. In March 2025, all of the lights on the dashboard came on again with the car not accelerating properly. I had it looked at again, was told that it was a "Cylinder 2 Misfire" again but all 4 ignition coils were working properly. A spark plug was replaced at that time. Then, in May 2025, the car did the same thing with all of the lights coming and the car would not properly accelerate. The car again read that there was a misfire with "Cylinder 3" but all of the ignition coils worked properly. I had the fuel injectors replaced and another spark plug replaced. The car didn't even make it 24 hours before all the lights came on again. The RPMs in the car now go past "3" but will not accelerate & shift gears. The Honda Dealership has advised me that the head gasket needs replaced. My car has 74,000 miles on it. I had it inspected April 2024 with no head gasket issues & the car was at 64,000 miles approximately. So, in 8 months' time, the head gasket was blown & the car is well under 100,000 miles. I have been told that the engine my car has, 1.5L turbo with Honda has had this issue to the extreme that a class action lawsuit has been filed as Honda refuses to do any time of recall or assist with repairs. I literally had to drive with my 4 ways on to avoid being hit in an intersection due to the inability of my car to accelerate. The NHTSA needs to investigate Honda & determine if they are defrauding consumers by refusing to issue a recall due to this common & dangerous issue. I have owned 7 hours in the 30 years I have had a driver's license & never once had a head gasket issue or any issues to this extreme. I have never replaced a head gasket in any car that I have owned.
My vehicle had been running fine up until the dash lit up, engine check turned on along with the tire pressure sensor and as of right now my car does not accelerate.
Honda Accord 2019 could not start after parked in garage for 6 weeks. Instrument panel showing: 1) Brake Hold System Problem 2) Brake System Problem. Brake Performance May Be Reduced. 3) Electric Parking Brake System Problem. Parking Brake Not Available. 4) Electric Power Steering System Problem. Steering Assist Reduced.
All the lights came on on the car, took it to get looked at they stated it was the turbocharger I spent $2500 to get it replaced and yet all the lights are still on-automatic headlights don’t work and the infotainment system keeps cutting out-like glitching. According to the Honda representative at the dealership, this year model has had alot of issues and several cars in the last month alone have replaced turbochargers and had to come back and get an entire motor! This is highway robbery if the cars themselves weren’t put together correctly from the manufacturer. This needs to be looked into as I’m having to shell out thousands of dollars for a defective car. My [XXX] drives this vehicle and I don’t know what to do as the dealership charges $190 for every diagnostic test and to not have an answer is frustrating. All I’m hearing is several cars this year are horribly made. This needs to be investigated and resolved. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6
The motor to the lock in the gas tank makes a very loud sound and doesn’t appear to work properly
All of the safety and warning lights appear on my car upon starting. Collision mitigation Electric Parking Brake Brake System Problem Electric Power System Problem Adaptive Cruise Control Problem Tire Pressure Monitoring problem System morning light comes on in my car and I’m afraid My car may shut down at any time Due to all of the system, seemingly failing. It started doing it randomly and the warnings will go off so I’d ignore it but now it is more consistent and they stay on all the time. I searched online to see if anyone else had experienced this and there are many others are having the same issues.
I was driving on the interstate on adaptive cruise control when suddenly my cruise control turned off, and then various sensor lights all started popping up on my dash notifying my that various safety systems were not on/working, including all honda sensing features, I also lost my power steering. I managed to pull off onto an exit ramp, kept the car running, and was able to get it to town to have battery tested. Battery was fine. Turned the car off and turned it back on and there were 0 issues and everything worked just fine. Took car to Honda dealership, it was diagnosed that the EPS unit malfunctioned. I was terrified when this happened as I was traveling 70 miles per hour on the interstate and didn't know what was happening, I was unsure what was happening and if I was going to be able to control the vehicle at all even through the gas pedal, or brakes. I was terrified I wouldn't be able to steer or brake or if the car was going to accelerate without my control. I was able to brake slowly and pull over to an exit ramp. Driving it into town with no power steering was extremely difficult and scary. I had never experienced any issued with any electrical, steering, or any other systems in my car prior to this. Honda of Altoona in Iowa is where the car was diagnosed the EPS malfunction, I was told by the dealership it was a manufacturer error and there wasn't anything I did to trigger it. I had the EPS unit replaced based off the dealership recommendation as there was no promising it wouldn't happen again if I didn't replace the unit and it was a safety concern.
The contact owns a 2019 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle the warning lights and messages had randomly activated which included the check engine light, ABS and Traction Control and the vehicle had suddenly reduced speeds and would not properly accelerate. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who replaced a sensor and the failures were remedied. No further information was available. Approximately two years later the failure reoccurred but also the vehicle would not start. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer. The cause of the failures were not yet determined. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The failure mileage was 50,000.

All of a sudden I was driving and every light on the dash lit up the car starting stalling and shut off We replaced the spark plugs and the coils because they told us that was the problem and it's still doing the same thing quite a few people that are having this issue got a recall letter.. I never received a recall for this problem And every time I put my VIN number in it's saying zero recalls something is wrong this is not safe for me and my children

for the past 3-4 months it started off with shaking. once i would try to accelerate it it would choke. took it to the dealer ship and they had it for almost 2 months. Supposedly the engiens head gasket tend to blow for those type of cars model and year. i was called yesterday that it was ready after almost 2 months. not 3 hours went by and the issue started to happened again. i have my kids if a accident would of happened my kids would of been injured. if it has happened to many honda accords 2019 1.5 sport why not do a recall on it. it could cause my life my kids or someone else in the road.
My car has difficulty starting and shows up that the battery is dead. When I checked the battery, it was fine. My car has a strange smell coming out of the AC, my oil light is on even if the oil is fine and brand new. Something is wrong with the fuel pump as well.
The contact owns a 2019 Honda Accord. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to start. There were no warning lights illuminated. The battery was replaced before the failure. The vehicle was jumpstarted but failed to start. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V858000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The lights come on ,the dashboard saying it’s my fuel pump and I can’t get it fix because they don’t have the parts in stock till next year vehicle will stall on the highway and lose power causing someone to crash into me and the transmission throw a code as will with the fuel pump
Engine stall in the middle of the road making me hit an object and it lock up the steering wheel for I couldn't are nun causing the car to being in an accident this cost my insurance $4.5K to fix in damages and the car was under Honda care and Honda care basic warranty because they have on the carfax that it was minor because the amount of damage that cause Honda should be reliable for this accident bc this was a new car the steering wheel was not supposed to lock up while driving are just stall in the highway for I can’t steer
Back up camera malfunctioning since the past couple weeks. It displays these colorful artifacts as shown in the attached images. It makes it harder to observes obstructions, cars while backing up. Haven't got this component inspected yet but looking online, it seems to be a issue common to different Honda models (particularly 2019 Models) - see link below [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
I got an oil change done and everything was fine brakes were good , battery , engine , everything . Then dashboard lights came on the engine light saying to take to dealer the. The ADAS system sensors popped up when I’m driving they will automatically slam on breaks if I’m not even close , now it’s having a hard time starting up
The car won't "turn over" or start because it's there is not enough or no fuel being delivered to the engine. Fuel is not being delivered significantly enough for the engine to start. Towed to the local dealership to have the fule pump replaced. However, when the parts neede to fix/replace the fuel pump are not avaliable for months. When they tried to have the part delivered they we told no because it could not be proven to he the problem. The repair manager told me they didn't have time, interest or the personel to continue the process and I had to tow it from the dealership to an independently local repair shop where it remains indefinitely.
On Dec of 2022 I expereienced my first encounter with the recall and my engine was affected. I was on a busy Highway when the car made some weird noises and then stalled. When I took the car to the mechanic, he stated I needed a new engine. I couldnt understand why however I needed my car and had to get it fixed. Months later, my car again, leaves me on the side of a congested street, because it stalled. This time, im told its the fuel pump. For two months every week, I am at the mechanic because it ends up that my car has two fuel pumps and both went bad. I end up hearing about the fuel pump recall after I spent $8600 on getting my car fixed. I am imploring for full reimbursment. This matter left me on sides of roads many a times and need assistance with getting my monies back.
These cars being known for having very bad fuel injectors. So much so that Honda cannot keep up with the demand for replacement parts. These cars are now being known for blowing head gaskets and having their fuel injectors go bad before 80,000 miles. It’s not just a simple fix because when these injectors go out they turn off all of the safety equipment on the car and make it loose all power. This happened to my wife while she was driving on the highway. Thank god she was able to pull over safely but this is an issue that needs to be looked into and addressed before someone gets killed!
My three year old daughter was locked in the vehicle recently which is a major safety concern and was a very terrifying experience. All door locks were malfunctioning. I was unable to gain access to her for several minutes via my key fob or manually pulling the handle/latch. It was in the 40s, after several minutes I was able to gain access through the drivers door. I struggled to undo her car seat from the front. Finally I was able to reach her and she crawled out through the front seat. I was frantic because I was unable to manually unlock the doors when the door release latching system failed. The very next morning I went to warm up the car to take my daughter to school and 10warnings displayed: TPMS, brake system hold, brake system performance, vehicle stability assist, hill start assist, adaptive cruise control x2, electric power steering, collision mitigation braking, road departure mitigation. This incident constitutes as CHILD ENDANGERMENT in the state of NC. I am terrified and afraid to drive this vehicle, because if in the event of an emergency the doors/car could malfunction AGAIN and we would not be able to exit the vehicle. Surprisingly, I took my car the next morning to a scheduled diagnostics appointment with my certified Honda dealership and they failed to identify the problem. This experience is very anxiety provoking and overwhelming to know that the one thing that is supposed to protect us and keep us safe is the one thing that failed us. Someone needs to hold Honda accountable before this defect results in bodily harm/injury and/or death. This is something that should be taken seriously as Honda has had known problems with the body control modules and safety mechanisms. I would like for NHTSA to conduct a causation survey for failure of safety mechanisms. I would like an update after investigations have been conducted. Sincerely, Terror stricken and perplexed mom.
Door actuator malfunctioning on 2019 Honda Accord. Won't lock at times, won't unlock at times either.
Every single dash warning light is showing up on my car and I've had it looked at and claimed to be fixed but it has popped back up and I'm unaware of the problem and it's been this way since I've bought my car and I've read online a few others have had this problem
All of the warning lights are on. The Adaptive Cruise Control, E parking brake, Tire pressure monitor, Brake System Performance, Vehicle Stability Assist, Electric power steering lights are all currently on. Brakes did not engage properly when braking. I had to swerve out of the way to avoid a collision.
Radio fails to start when turn the vehicle on. If the radio does start it will shut off while driving. When this happens the forward collision alert fails.
On 01-31-2023 at 5pm my Accord (2019, 27k miles) experienced a limp mode condition on the Highway forcing me to pull over onto the shoulder and restart the car. I was traveling for 4+ hours in rain / misting rain on the way to North Carolina for a business trip. I went to pass a slow moving vehicle, and the car’s check engine light began to flash 2 seconds after I hit the accelerator. The car’s check engine light began to flash and the car would not exceed 40mph, indicating it had entered a limp mode condition. This forced me to pull over onto the shoulder. After a restart, the car performed as normal with no CEL. I took the car to Advance Auto parts to see if the ECU captured any codes - 3 “pending” codes were stored - P0300 random misfire, P0301 Cylinder 1 misfire, P0304 Cylinder 4 misfire. I took the car to Shockley Honda in Frederick MD on 02/06/2023 and the pending codes had cleared / a diagnosis of possible traction control engagement was given - I am 100% certain this was the check engine light / limp mode, and that this is an incorrect diagnosis. Honda has a TSB for this exact issue: https://www.driveaccord.net/attachments/a21-052-pdf.531063/ Additionally I have dash camera footage to collaborate my account of events, including the event occurring; pulling over on the side of the road; and the trip to advance auto, where you can hear me reading the codes Car entering limp mode on highway: https://youtu.be/1E9RKIH-MnM Drive to advance auto: https://youtu.be/esqrADVXfsA Reading codes: https://youtu.be/5fN10jBiChw Multiple other owners have experienced similar issues in similar weather conditions in their 2.0T Accords https://www.driveaccord.net/threads/check-engine-light-cel-in-the-rain-went-into-limp-mode.502130/page-11 This incident lead to unsafe vehicle operation through a loss of power scenario in adverse weather. Honda customer service and the dealer have so far failed to address the issue in the TSB per my insistence.
As I was driving down the interstate, it had been raining hard, but the speed had increased and we were going around 70-75, speed limit 70. I was in the far left lane when the lane all of a sudden was ending. I had to work my way over fast, so i kicked it to move over to the next lane, and when i did, I lost ALL power in the vehicle. I was terrified !! I did have enough speed to get over one lane but there was a lot of traffic and i had to get over another one to stop on the shoulder. It was close but we did get over and stop without causing an accident. If I had of hit someone or someone hit me, it would have been a multi car accident with all the traffic and probably someone being killed, including my husband and I. This needs to be investigate before someone is killed .
My car was initially at Performance Honda due to engine failure on June 24, 2022. They called on July 20, 2022 and confirmed that my car engine was repaired and I picked it up on July 20, 2022. Then on July 23, 2022, I incurred the same engine failures as noted by the warning and error lights on my display panel. The car started slowing down while I was on the expressway creating a safety hazard but I was able to drive it to Performance Honda. The manager explained that the car needed a turbo and they had to asked Honda to approve the purchase to install it into my car. I dont know if the turbo is new or used or even under warranty but Performance Honda contacted me on August 8 and said again the engine was repaired. I've read where there are other owners experiencing similar issues. My car was still within warranty of my purchase date July 17, 2019 and the repairs were made under the warranty but I still incurred rental car expenses that have not been reimbursed to date.
When I was driving during a storm on June 24, 2022, the numerous warning readings flashed on my dashboard. My car begin to slow down until it completely stalled. I was able to restart the car and drive it off the main road and it stalled again. AAA tolled my car to Performance Honda. I have a 2019 Honda Accord EX purchased July 17, 2019 with 35014 miles. Honda explained that the engine had lost oil and the engine was completely inoperable.
Door lock actuator of 1 door out of 4 is gets stuck between open and close positions (brainfart) mode and won't respond to center lock/unlock. It won't unlock with the fob from outside or respond to door unlock button from inside. If I am inside the car, I have to brush my hand against the physical lock latch simultaneously with pressing the unlock switch. I am afraid in case of an accident, the door may not open as normal. Apparently this is a common problem as I have searched many HONDA online forums.
Brake light warning comes and with nothing in front or near me and on occasion it engages the brakes. Also the lane keep assist also goes off when I’m in the middle of a lane and going straight. I have had various electrical problems like this since week one of getting the car, and the dealer or Honda can never explain any of this
Tachometer issues.
This vehicle has a safety issue when it comes to snow on the ground and driving on a hill/incline. I was driving my vehicle through snow in the Ohio/WV region and when I tried to drive up a hill with snow on the ground the vehicle stopped. The vehicle would not accelerate and it seemed the engine just shut off. So I put the car in neutral and pushed the gas and I was correct the engine had no RPMs. This caused a huge safety issue to myself and the people driving near me. As I had ZERO control over the vehicle on an incline. The cars coming toward me and the ones behind me had ZERO issues with their vehicles going up this hillside. I tried three times to shut car off and back on so it would give me a few seconds of acceleration, allowing me to get up the hill a few more feet before shutting off again and possibly causing an accident. When I took it to my Honda dealer they stated computer showed no issues with the vehicle. And they have not heard of the engine shutting down or not having RPMs with snow on the ground. They recommended that I have tracking control off next time allowing me full control vs. the computer of the car however, I DID have it off. Once they heard that statement they informed me I have no other options. Honda did tell me when driving in snow other messages can go off and the car is still SAFE to drive. Which it needs to be as this area has tons of snow. However, that is not the case if the car just shuts off. Prior to the issue, the car kept beeping non stop with warning of break system & adaptive cruise control. My sensors were wiped off prior to the car shutting off. Yet again you can't keep a sensor spotless driving on a highway with snow. Two of the warning lights that showed on my dashboard were not listed in the manual. I am now afraid to drive my vehicle with any snow coming down. I have been a Honda owner since the 90's and I no longer trust this brand.
Upon accelerating on a highway, the malfunction indicator light came on and the car lost power. Without drive power it was very dangerous to maneuver to exit the freeway. The dealership recognized that this was due to issues with the intercooler and PGM-FI software for this vehicle and is spelled out in a technical service bulletin (Honda 21-052). However, even though the car is under the original warranty, they want to charge over $250 for the repair.
I had to boost my brothers vehicle because his battery was dead. Ever since then, the "charging system failure" notification has been on. Been on for about 1.5 years. Have not noticed any issues with the car but can't get the indicator to go off without bringing it to the Honda dealer and paying $150 for them to "check it."
Randomly my vehicles LKAS, ACC, blind spot monitoring will go out with a message to visit dealer. Also my exterior headlight controls won't work, turn signal stops working, backup camera stops working, rear trunk control, rear defroster. All steering wheel controls stop working as well. This can last for a couple days or as short as a few minutes. Every time I have taken it to the dealer the problem has 'fixed' itself and they can not find any errors. I have two videos I can share showing the errors. I did do a screen shot of the errors from the video and uploaded.

I WAS ON THE FREEWAY GOING ABOUT 75MPH, WHEN SUDDENLY, MY VEHICLE'S CMBS SYSTEM ACTIVATED AND SLOWED DOWN SPEED TO 20MPH APPROX. WITHOUT HAVING ANY VEHICLES IN FRONT OR NEAR ME. LUCKILY, THE DRIVER BEHIND ME WAS NOT FOLLOWING CLOSE AND WAS ABLE TO AVOID A COLLISION BY SWITCHING LANES. I HAVE TAKEN MY VEHICLE TO THE DEALER TWICE, BUT NO ONE CAN FIND OR DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. MOREOVER, A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO, WHEN I WAS SWITCHING LANES, TOWARD THE RIGHT, THE LEFT WARNING LIGHT AND BEEPING NOISE CAME ON. SO FAR, I HAVE RECORDED NINE INCIDENTS WHEN THE VEHICLE SLOWED DOWN ON ITS OWN, AND FOUR OF THOSE WERE ON THE FREEWAY. I WAS FORCED TO DEACTIVATED ALL "SAFETY" SENSORS WHILE I AM DRIVING TO AVOID ANYMORE INCIDENTS OR ACCIDENTS.

ON 3 DIFFERENT DATES MY 2019 HONDA ACCORD SPORT HAD A POWER FAILURE. I WAS GOING ABOUT 65 TO 70 MPH WHEN EACH INCIDENT OCCURRED. FIRST TIME WAS AROUND 12/12/2021.THE ENGINE OR POWER SHUT OFF, RPM DROPPED ALL AT ONCE FOR ABOUT A MINUTE THEN CAME BACK TO LIFE. THE SECOND TIME WAS 12/28/2020 ON THE SAME INTERSTATE 81FGOING ABOUT THE SAME SPEED. THIS TIME I PULLED OFF THE INTERSTATE THE CAR WAS STILL SHUT OFF. I RESTARTED THE CAR IT DROVE OK AND NO MORE TROUBLE THAT DAY. ON 01/12/2020 IT HAPPENED AGAIN ON I 81 INTERSTATE AND AGAIN IT SHUT OFF OR LOST ALL POWER FOR ABOUT A MINUTE THEN IT RECOVERED ITSELF.THIS WAS A VERY BAD SITUATION AS I WAS IN 3 LANES OF TRAFFIC WITH TRACTOR TRAILERS ALL AROUND GOING 70 MPH.I HAVE REPORTED THIS TO MILLER HONDA, THREE TIMES. THEY TOOK IT IN AND TRIED TO SEE IF IT WOULD SHUT OFF ON THEM.IT DID NOT AT THAT TIME. SERVICE MANAGER COULD FIND NOTHING AT THAT TIME. I HAVE CALLED HONDA AND REGISTERED A CLAIM AS I FEEL THIS NEW CAR WITH ONLY 5,500 MILES ON IT IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE.

THE INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER AND RADIO ON THE VEHICLE GO BLACK WHILE VEHICLE IS IN OPERATION AND THEN IT RESTARTS. THE ISSUE STARTED IN JANUARY 9, 2020 WITH 5,259 MILES, THE VEHICLE DOES THIS BETWEEN 1200 TO 1800 MILES. THE LATEST INCIDENT OCCURRED ON NOVEMBER 17, 2020 WITH 19,804 MILE. I HAVE TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP FIVE TIMES TO GET THE ISSUE RESOLVED. DEALERSHIP INDICATES THAT INSTRUMENT CLUSTER HAS BEEN REPLACED AND UPDATES HAVE BEEN INSTALLED. I HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH HONDA CORPORATION AS WELL. I HAVE INCLUDED PICTURES OF THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER AND ALSO A WORK ORDER AND WHAT UPDATE THEY DID TO THE CAR.

WHEN I WENT TO START MY CAR AFTER PARKING IT IN A PARKING LOT, MY CAR WOULDN'T START. THE CONTROL PANEL WAS FLASHING ON AND OFF AND STATED THAT THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH THE BRAKE SYSTEM AND TO SEE MY DEALER. I HAD THE CAR TOLLED TO HONDA. AFTER INSPECTING THE CAR, THEY TOLD ME THERE WAS A DEFECTIVE CELL IN THE BATTERY AND THEY REPLACED THE BATTERY. I PURCHASED MY CAR BRAND NEW LAST YEAR IN 2019 YET THIS DEFECTIVE BATTERY CAUSED ME TO BE STRANDED, WHICH I DON'T EXPECT TO HAPPEN WITH AN ESSENTIALLY NEW CAR.

I HAVE TRIED CONTACTING HONDA AND GOING TO THE DEALERSHIP MULTIPLE TIMES TO GET THIS TAKEN CARE OF BUT EVERYTHING IS PERFECT THEY SAY. JUST YESTERDAY THE CAR HIT THE BREAK ON IT'S OWN WHEN THE CAR ON THE OTHER SIDE WAS CLEARLY ON THE OTHER LANE THE CAR MADE A HORRIBLE SUDDEN STOP THAT CAUSED BRUISING TO MY NECK AND ALSO MY PASSENGER GOT HURT WITH EVERYTHING THAT FLUNG FROM THE BACKSEAT HE SAID THE TUG WAS TOO MUCH . WE THOUGHT SOMEONE HAD HIT ME . THIS ISN'T THE FIRST TIME THE CAR HAS DONE THIS I FEEL I GET CONSTANT TIRE POPS BECAUSE OF THIS CAR VEERS ME OFF INTO A LANE THAT ISN'T EVEN THERE. I HAVE WITNESSES THAT SAY I HAVE A LEMON CAR I ALWAYS SAY NO BUT THIS LAST INCIDENT WAS TOO MUCH FOR ME . ALSO THE CHARGER PORT NOT USB HAS NOT WORKED SINCE DAY ONE ANOTHER THING THEY SAID WAS WORKING AGAIN NOTHING . I WENT BACK AND THEY SAID I HAD NO WARRANTIES . I HAVE CALLED HONDA TRYING TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS AND GOING TO THE DEALER THEY SAID U SIGNED SO TAKE CARE OF IT . AT THIS POINT I AM IN THE PROCESS OF PURCHASING A NEW VEHICLE CASH AND I AM NOT EVEN 1% INTERSD IN KEEPING THIS CAR . IF I HAVE TO RETURN VOLUNTARILY I WILL HAVE TO . I HAVE BEEN PATIENT BUT IT'S ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS THAT I WAS PUT INTO THIS VEHICLE BEING A SUPPOSEDLY UPGRADE ? FROM MY 2017 HONDA COUPE V6 . THIS CAR NEEDS A RECALL ON LANE DEPARTURE , SENSORS , ELECTRICAL IT IS NOT A CAR I FEEL SAFE IN . I DO NOT TRUST TO LET IT DRIVE ON IT'S OWN AND FOR GOOD REASON . WHAT AM I PAYING FOR THEN ? I WOULD HAVE CRASHED INTO A CAR BY NOW IF I TRUSTED IT . I HAVE PROOF OF THE THREE TIRES I HAVE HAD TO GET IN THE PAST THEEE MONTHS AND I DON'T DRIVE MUCH AT ALL 9K MILES IN A WHOLE YEAR . PICS ON BOTTOM SHOW HOW THE DAMAGE COMES FROM THE SIDES DUE TO THE CAR GOING STRAIGHT THEN MAKING SUDDEN TURNS THAT HIT CURBS . THE SENSORS SEEM TO BE GETTING WORSE INSTEAD OF BETTER .

BACK IN JULY 4, 2020, THE DIGITAL PART OF MY INSTRUMENT PANEL, HEADS UP DISPLAY AND MY INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM CRASHED WHILE I WAS DRIVING. IT TOOK APPROXIMATELY 2 MINS TO COME BACK ON. TODAY, JULY 14,2020, THE AUDIO, PHONE AND NAVIGATION ON MY INSTRUMENT PANEL WEREN'T SHOWING UP WHEN I TURNED ON MY CAR. ALSO MY VOICE ASSIST DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE AS WELL AS THE NAVIGATION ON MY HEADS UP DISPLAY. I TRIED CALLING MY DEALERSHIP TO SET AN APPOINTMENT BUT THE EARLIEST TIME THEY CAN GIVE ME IS ON THE 24TH OF JULY.
ON THE HIGHWAY GOING 75MPH THE COLLISION MITIGATION BEEPED AND LOCKED UP THE BRAKES DROPPING MY SPEED BELOW 50MPH BEFORE LETTING OFF. THERE WAS A CAR IN THE LANE TO THE RIGHT OF ME ON A STRAIGHT SECTION OF THE HIGHWAY BUT WAS NOT MOVING INTO MY LANE. LUCKILY THERE WAS NO ONE BEHIND ME.

"COLLISION MITIGATION BRAKING SYSTEM PROBLEM. SEE YOUR DEALER." WARNING HAS APPEARED SEVEN TIMES IN THE 4,300 MILES I HAVE OWNED THE CAR. WHEN THE SYSTEM ERRORS THE EMERGENCY BRAKING DOES NOT FUNCTION, THE ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL DOES NOT FUNCTION, AND EVEN THE TRADITIONAL CRUISE CONTROL WILL NOT SET. TURNING CAR OFF AND ONE DOES RESET THE ISSUE BUT IT KEEPS APPEARING AT RANDOM TIMES WHEN I DRIVE THE CAR. I HAVE TAKEN THE CAR TO DEALER MULTIPLE TIMES THEY TELL ME THEY CANNOT DO ANYTHING UNLESS THE WARNING LIGHT IS ON WHEN THEY HAVE THE VEHICLE. THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE I PURCHASED THE CAR BRAND NEW IN NOVEMBER 2019. *TR

I PURCHASED A BRAND NEW HONDA ACCORD 2019 SPORT IN BLACK IN MARCH 2019. WITHIN 3 MONTHS I NOTICED IN MAY THESE WHITE SPOTS SHOW UP. I IMMEDIATELY HAD 3 DETAILERS LOOK AT THE SPOTS AND THEY SAID IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE PAINT JOB. I CALLED HONDA AND STARTED A CLAIM, THEY TOLD ME TO TAKE THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP I PURCHASED IT FROM AND HAVE THEM TO REVIEW IT, THEY WERE RUDE AND STATED THAT IT WAS MY FAULT AND THAT I HAD TO PUT SOMETHING ACIDIC ON IT OR IT WAS ACIDIC RAIN, OR SAP. I HAVE NOT BEEN UNDER A TREE NOR PUT ANYTHING ON MY CAR TO DAMAGE IT, WHY WOULD I WANT TO DO THIS TO MY OWN CAR, I BROUGHT UP ISSUES WITH THE STEREO SYSTEM AND THE SCREEN FREEZING AND GOING BLACK. THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD TAKE MY STEREO OUT MY CAR AND PUT A REFURBISHED SYSTEM IN MY CAR THAT WILL HAVE THE UPGRADE ALREADY ON THE SYSTEM AND TAKE MINES AND PUT IT IN SOMEONE ELSE'S CAR. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING AND THE CAR IS ONLY 1 YEAR OLD. I FOUND OUT THE CAR WAS MADE THE END OF THE YEAR ON A FRIDAY,I HAD VIDEOS AND THAT STILL WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. NOW I'M LOOKING AT GETTING A PAINT JOB ON A ONE YEAR OLD CAR. I'M SO DISAPPOINTED I REALLY LIKE MY CAR AND FOR ALL THIS TO HAPPEN IN A YEAR I REALLY HATE I BOUGHT THIS CAR.
WHEN STARTING THE VEHICLE, THE DIGITAL (LCD SCREEN) HALF OF THE GAUGE CLUSTER MAY BLANK. AS THE TACHOMETER IN THIS VEHICLE IS DIGITAL, THE DRIVER IS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE RPM OF THE ENGINE WHEN STATIONARY OR IN MOTION. WHEN THIS PROBLEM SURFACES, NOT EVEN RESTARTING THE VEHICLE FIXES THE DIGITAL DISPLAY. I HAVE HAD 3 DEALER APPOINTMENTS TO FIX THIS ISSUE NOW. THEY HAVE SWAPPED OUT THE GAUGE CLUSTER AND THE PROBLEM PERSISTS. ADDITIONALLY, I HAVE IDENTIFIED OTHER USERS VIA INTERNET FORUMS WHO HAVE EXCHANGED PHOTOS AND VIDEOS WITH ME OF THEIR VEHICLES EXHIBITING THE SAME SYMPTOMS. BECAUSE THE PROBLEM WAS NOT FIXED WITH NEW HARDWARE, AND MANY OTHER USERS EXPERIENCE IT, I SUSPECT IT MAY BE A SOFTWARE ISSUE.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH THE WINDSHIELD CRACKED WITHOUT WARNING OR IMPACT. THE COLLISION MITIGATION BRAKE SYSTEM INDICATOR WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE WINDSHIELD WAS REPLACED. THE LOCAL DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
MY REVERSE CAMERA PULLS UP ON THE SCREEN AS I'VE BEEN DRIVING FOR WELL OVER 30 MINS AND MY RPM GAUGE HAS WENT OUT AND GOES BLANK EVERY OTHER HOUR OR SO. HAPPENED ABOUT 7 TIMES THIS PAST MONTH. PRETTY DANGEROUS BECAUSE WHEN THE FOLLOWING CAR FUNCTION IS ON IT IMMEDIATELY STOPS WORKS, I'VE SWERVED TO AVOID ACCIDENTS. THIS IS ALL HAPPENING AS I DRIVE

SECOND TIME OCCURRENCE - AFTER STARTING THE CAR ALL THE SAFETY SYSTEMS ( HONDA SENSING) STARTED TO GIVE ERRORS, ABS BREAKS, AUTOMATIC LIGHTING CONTROL SYSTEM PROBLEM LANE KEEPING ASSIST SYSTEM PROBLEM ROAD DEPARTURE MITIGATION PROBLEM AUTO HIGH BEAM PROBLEM BRAKE SYSTEM LIGHT WENT ON CAR DOES NOT BEEP WHEN YOU LOCK IT TRUNK WILL NOT OPEN TURN SIGNALS WILL NOT TURN DISPLAY ON THE DASHBOARD. ON 11/22, WHEN MY CAR WAS IN ACCESSORY MODE, THE STEREO SYSTEM WAS FLICKERING AND THE WARNING SIGN SAYING THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH MY BRAKE SYSTEM APPEARED ON THE DASH BOARD. I ALSO NOTICED MY BREAK PEDAL WAS PULSATING. I TOOK IT TO HONDA AND THEY CHANGED THE BATTERY OF MY CAR ON 11/30. I CALLED HONDA CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY TOLD ME THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE BUT THEY DO NOT HAVE A FIX FOR IT. TWO DAYS AFTER I GOT MY BATTERY CHANGERS, THE TOUCH SCREEN WENT OUT WHILE I WAS DRIVING AND CAUSED THE STEREO SYSTEM TO REBOOT. TODAY, I WAS AT THE STOP LIGHT WAITING FOR THE LIGHT TO TURN GREEN. THERE WAS NOT A CAR INFRONT OF ME AND WHEN THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN I TOOK MY FOOT OFF THE PEDAL AND THE CAR STARTED TO MOVE. ABOUT TWO SECONDS OF MOVING THE CAR, THE CAR BREAKED BY ITSELF AND THE HAZARDS LIGHTS CAME ON- THIS HAPPENED ON 12/14. A CAR BEHIND ME HAD TO SWERVE TO AVOID HITTING ME.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT EMAILED HONDA OF COVINGTON (100 HOLIDAY SQUARE BLVD, COVINGTON, LA 70433, (985) 892-0001) BECAUSE THE TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. ON SEPTEMBER 11, 2019, WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE AUTO BRAKE SYSTEM SUDDENLY ENGAGED AND STOPPED THE VEHICLE. THERE WERE NO VEHICLES IN FRONT OF THE CONTACT AT THE TIME OF THE FAILURE. THE DEALER WAS EMAILED AGAIN REGARDING THE FAILURE. LATER, THE VEHICLE MOVED ON ITS OWN IN REVERSE FROM A PARKED POSITION AND STRUCK A NEIGHBOR'S MAILBOX. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND ROADSIDE SERVICE TOWED THE VEHICLE TO THE SAME DEALER. THE DEALER STATED THAT THERE WAS $3,700 WORTH OF DAMAGE, BUT NO FAILURE CODES WERE LOCATED. THE CONTACT RESEARCHED AND FOUND NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS AND A LAWSUIT FILED AGAINST THE MANUFACTURER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 700. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN.

I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY IN MY NEW 2019 HONDA ACCORD WHICH IS JUST AT IT'S 3768 MILES, AND THE ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM, COLLUSION MITIGATION BRAKING SYSTEM AND ROAD DEPARTURE SYSTEM FAILED. IT SHOWED A MESSAGE TO TAKE IT TO THE DEALER. UPON RESTARTING THE PROBLEM SEEMS TO BE SOLVED. I GOT THE CAR COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO, SO I HAVE THEIR MAY 2019 SOFTWARE UPDATE WHICH SUPPOSEDLY WOULD FIX THIS PROBLEM WITH 10TH GEN ACCORDS, BUT IT DIDN'T. THE DEALERS AND HONDA CORPORATE KEEP RESPONDING THAT HONDA DOESN'T HAVE A FIX FOR THIS PROBLEM YET, WHICH IS GOING ON FOR OVER A YEAR NOW FOR MANY OWNERS, WHICH CAN EASILY BE FOUND BY A GOOGLE SEARCH. PLEASE HELP US.

WITH ONLY LESS THAN 800 MILES ON THE CAR, MY 2019 HONDA ACCORD VSA MODULATOR (WHICH WAS DIAGNOSED BY THE DEALERSHIP) FAILED. I FELT THE CAR BEGIN TO BOG ON THE HIGHWAY RIGHT BEFORE WE WERE ON THE EXIT. THEN, THE GAS PEDAL STOPPED WORKING PROPERLY AND THE CAR LOST SPEED. I WOULD PRESS HARD ON THE GAS PEDAL AND THE CAR WOULD TAKE ABOUT 3 SECONDS BEFORE IT STARTED TO MOVE FORWARD, JERKING IN THE DIRECTION I INTENDED IT TO GO. AFTER STRUGGLING A LITTLE WHILE, I LUCKILY PULLED OVER AND CALLED A TOW TRUCK TO SEND MY CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP. I FELT THAT I WAS VERY LUCKY TO BE ABLE TO SAFELY PULL OVER. 1ST, IT HAPPENED DURING AN EARLY SUNDAY MORNING WITH HEAVY RAIN, SO THERE WAS NOT MUCH TRAFFIC. 2ND, THE EVENT OCCURRED RIGHT BEFORE WE WERE GOING TO EXIT THE HIGHWAY WITH ONLY A FEW HUNDREDS OF FEET TO GO. ALSO, IT'S IN MY HOMETOWN AND I KNOW THE ROAD VERY WELL. OTHERWISE, AN UNCONTROLLABLE CAR COULD CAUSE VERY SERIOUS ACCIDENT. IF WE WERE TO CRASH, THE EVENT WOULD LIKELY BE ATTRIBUTED TO DRIVER FAULT - SINCE IT IS SUCH A NEW CAR - RATHER THAN A CRUCIAL CAR PART FAILING, WHICH COULD CAUSE DEATH TO MANY OTHERS WHO BUY NEW HONDA ACCORD 2019S. THEREFORE, I BELIEVE THAT THIS ISSUE SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN LIGHTLY AND SHOULD BE FURTHER INVESTIGATED.
