The vehicle's suspension is excessively stiff and harsh since new, transmitting all road imperfections, bumps, and irregularities directly to the driver and passengers, causing discomfort and fatigue. Additionally, there is abnormal noise (clunking/rattling/creaking/popping) from the steering rack area, especially when turning the steering wheel at low speeds, over bumps, or when stationary. The suspension components and steering rack assembly are available for inspection upon request. This condition affects safety by causing driver fatigue, reduced comfort/control on uneven roads, and potential distraction from steering noise indicating a possible developing failure in the steering system. The problems have been inspected and repair attempted by authorized Honda dealers on multiple occasions, but the issues persist and have not been resolved. The vehicle or component has been inspected by dealer service centers.

Describe the Safety Issue: My 2023 Honda Accord (VIN: 1HGCY1F28PA010141) stalled in traffic due to electrical system failure. A certified Honda technician found undisclosed non-factory wiring, exposed wires, removed aftermarket alarm components, BCM communication failure, and multiple hard codes that cannot be cleared. The vehicle has serious electrical defects that affect engine communication and safety systems. These conditions create a risk of stalling, electrical fire, loss of power, and loss of control while driving. The defects were present at the time of purchase but were not disclosed. When did the issue begin? Stalled in traffic and warning lights appeared immediately after purchase. Is the problem reproducible? Yes. Hard codes and electrical malfunctions reappear after clearing. Has the vehicle been inspected? Yes. Inspected at Team Gillman Honda North. Technician documented unsafe wiring, BCM issues, and recommended teardown with an estimated repair cost of $2,686.86. Has the manufacturer been contacted? Yes, through Honda dealership service. They confirmed the defects are not normal wear and are related to altered wiring. Has the dealer been contacted? Yes. The selling dealer refused assistance and told me not to contact them further.

While I was driving down the road with my foot on the gas pedal, without any notice whatsoever, my brakes began to jitter/shake and my steering wheel got stuck/tight and would not move. At this point, my car immediately makes a complete stop in the middle of the road and warning lamps appear such as; brake system problem, engine light, etc. I immediately turned on my hazard lights so cars behind me would go around me. Luckily, I was close to a curb and tugged on my stiff steering wheel and managed to park my car alongside the curb on the street. I called the Honda Dealership and they said my car was unsafe to drive and needed to be repaired. I immediately took my car to the Honda Dealership to get repaired. This malfunction could have caused an accident putting myself and others safety at risk as my car made an immediate complete stop on it's own and my steering wheel got stiff/hard to move making it hard to steer. There were NO warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem PRIOR to the failure.

Florida recently experienced a lower than average cold front. During this cold weather I started experiencing a problem with my steering. I initially described it as a twitching feeling with my steering but the next day I figured out how to recreate the issue consistently. My car wants to push me to the left into oncoming traffic. When I correct to the right I feel a momentarily resistance then the steering "let's go" and then steers right. I could repeatedly do this again and again. Car drifts left I steer right, steering sticks and then let's go to the right. I call and describe the issue immediately to my local dealership. They said my car isn't included in current recall for similar issue with crv etc. my appointment is in 3 days and now the weather is back in the 70s and I cannot recreate the issue. I'm sure when I drop it off, Honda will also not be able to recreate the issue in warm weather. It is a significant problem and needs to be addressed. My daughter thought she was going to be forced into oncoming traffic or the interstate wall because of it. Accords should be included. There's definitely a problem. I have a video that shows the twitch but I understand that probably doesn't mean much. Honda needs to fix this issue immediately

Driving at highway speed (70 MPH) the power assist steering and all of the Honda Sensing suit subsystem totally quit working. The dash had multiple warming lights and dialog box's describing system failures, I continued driving till I could get off of the highway and turned the vehicle off, after about 10 minutes I restarted the vehicle and all systems and steering reset. Drove the vehicle to Lompoc Honda for maintenance diagnostics they found multiple codes but no real cause, the dealership cleared the code per Honda's direction and test drove the vehicle several times. I was told to return if the issue persists.
