The ac has stopped working the heater does not blow out hot air,the air bag light has came on ,&now the car started to overheated an now will not start at all now...the oil light has came on ...when the car was running the transmission was not shifting correctly....

The following incidents are more about activities directly related to remaining qualified for a job and maintaining oneself in a state that is acceptable to employers. Reporter Name [XXX] HONDA Civic/CRX 2006Gray, CA[XXX] mySantaAna Work Order #[XXX] Traffic Engineering-Signal Issue Speed of Traffic Lights sped up and skipped through yellow to cause crossing at red or stopping within a foot of the crosswalk. Intersection has cameras around traffic lights. Timing was off enough to question, ie actually watching a stopwatch to know that it sped through yellow and ended green early from my view point was clearly seen. I will investigate further. Traffic patterns didn’t support such action and pedestrian activity just for that crossing was heavy while the other directions were not. Seemed suspicious but such timing had little effect on where my car stopped anyways. It was suspicious that there weren’t pedestrians traveling north and south on 17th or at the opposite side of the intersection, but that the side was on had at least 8 people immediately crossing. My car ran fine when started but the a few minutes later, it goes into limp mode where I cannot accelerate. Then it stalls out and now it won't restart. I do not know exactly what the problem is but my check engine light, IMA and red battery light comes on when it happened. As of now, my car is not even starting. This almost caused an accident because I was driving on the freeway when it randomly decided to go into this limp mode

Car lost power while trying to make a left turn across traffic. IMA battery charge dropped and no assist was delivered. Oncoming car was able to stop in time, but barely. This has now happened on a number of occasions. Car lost power while climbing a hill in a residential neighborhood (15 MPH) and barely made it to the top. Car lost power while climbing a short steep driveway and could not ascend; had to roll backwards and "force charge" the IMA battery in low gear for 10 minutes, after which I was able to climb the driveway easily. Decided to replace the IMA battery due to obvious malfunction although no codes were being thrown. Problem improved significantly but once again experienced lack of power on steep, low-speed hills and in our driveway. Battery software seems schizophrenic, deciding to charge itself rather than assist when power is needed, such as hills or merging into or across traffic, even when there seems to be ample battery reserve (for example, after swapping out the IMA battery it refused to provide assist on the hill with approximately 40% remaining -- 4 bars -- but will gladly provide assist at 50% + battery charge. Sometimes battery does not charge while braking downhill even though charge is needed. Unpredictable. The sudden loss of power whenever the IMA Assist decides that it *isn't* going to help is extremely dangerous. Honda is aware of this problem but has not offered any solutions outside of 150k / 15 year warranty on the IMA battery, which has lapsed on our 2006. Reluctant to let my young adult daughter drive this car as loss of power while merging or crossing lanes of traffic could result in a serious accident.

I am being targeted as a DRIVER since 2010 for driving programs that automatically adjust the weight needed to effectively press the brake and gas pedals of any vehicle. 4/8/2022 3:34 PM PST, such activities occurred when merging onto traffic on the 57 N freeway from Imperial Hwy on ramp. To confirm that such occurred and that it was not due to overwhelming the engine during driving in high heat conditions, e.g. 97 degrees. On past occasions, this has involved accelerating, although minimal, when I have pushed the gas pedal at E. Cameron Ave. and S. Pima Ave. cross walk, to cause embarrassment, harassment, reports, and use of my emergency brake because children were crossing following a crosswalk guard. This incident was reported during 2010-2012. Such activity was suspected beforehand but too difficult to conclude that such was the case w/o incidents like the one just aforementioned. Since 2010, the radio has played alternative broadcasts, especially during activities as the one mentioned above to cause alarm, stress or for the purpose of involving someone else, such as Maria Auxiliadora Hernandez, formerly Solis and now Flores, of knowing exactly what was said or what I was saying to myself w/o anyone around at any time. Such activities appear to be implemented as her work rather than the actual work she is supposed to complete for the company that she holds herself out as working for, e.g. the woman at the donut shop counter is supposed to be engaging in donut shop related activities, but instead begins to harass other employees and clients regarding what was emitted through the radio or what they were doing at the time of the broadcast, instead of completing activities related to staffing a donut shop. Such activities were used to control the extent of her work and her work environment in lieu of what she is contracted to complete. Cover up seems to be testing driving practices when its supposedly apparent that I am on my way to work in lieu of home

Initial Official Manufacturer Franchise New Vehicle Dealer Sponsored After Market Security Alarm, KARRS System; Official Manufacturer Factory Alarm; and GPS Navigation Radio System. Alarm was successfully set off several times within the time frames selected to protect the sleep and rest of the community, violating City of Walnut, CA municipal order 3.40.030 Certain noise prohibited. Alarm was also set to lock out driver after work (355 S Lemon Ave, Walnut, CA 91789) after 11 PM PST, and then again down the road at Vons (350 N Lemon Ave, Walnut, CA 91789), at 11:30 PM PST on the same evening, and on several occasions to be left stranded at 24 Hour Fitness Parking lots at 1600 S Azusa Ave, City of Industry, CA 91748-1674 and 18730 Amar Rd, Walnut, CA 91789-4168, and allow theft to occur at in retaliation for visiting 24 hour 21560 Valley Blvd, City of Industry, CA 91789-5241 and parking there. Put at risk others that were not on business who helped in assisting in shutting off battery to start car to be able to move it back home to get it restarted to take it back to the dealer; could've been criminalized for unlicensed activity. No. Only AAA. Usually drains battery. Yes. West Covina Honda R.O. 734681, aside from others; and Ontario Honda Tag 360212. There weren't any messages prior to the failure. Car went into similar mode that exists when one or more of the alarms are active. Both alarms were uninstalled, aside from the immobilizer and key component. At W.C. Honda, the green key light illuminated during R.O. Ontario Honda didn't provide details regarding inspection other than no issues found. Confidentiality not high; observers constantly get details and mock when possible w/o detection or punishment, inclusion non deterrent. Always seems to be protecting harasser/ criminal activity. Such activities make obvious that dealer service repair is similar to a closed examination campus, i.e. cannot always reproduce problem.

KEY FOR THIS MAKE IS NOT RECOGNIZED. HONDA SAID IT IS A "INMOBILIZATION SYSTEM ISSUE. KEY FLASHES ON DASHBOARD AND IT WONT START (KEY PROGRAMMED). THEY KNOW ABOUT THIS PROBLEM FOR THIS YEAR. I'M CONCERNED IT CAN STOP AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT CAUSING AN ACCIDENT.

THE IMA SYSTEM KEEPS KICKING ON AFTER DRIVING IT WHEN YOU COME TO A FULL STOP AND PUT IT IN PARK AND CAUSING THE CAR TO STAY IN PARK AND NOT ABLE TO GET IT IN GEAR. WAIT A LITTLE OVER 30 MINUTES AND TRY AGAIN AND IT WILL ALLOW YOU TO PUT IT IN GEAR AND DRIVE. I HAVE DONE THE RECALL HOWEVER IT IS STILL DOING THE SAMETHING.

IM HAVING THE SAME ISSUE THAT ANOTHER RECALL ON A SIMILAR MODEL HAS RECIEVED THE DC-DC CONVERTER HAS A PROBLEM CHARGING THE 12V BATTERY CAUSING ENGINE FAILURE, POWER FAILURE , STEARING FAILURE AND ABS FAILURE. I AM UNABLE TO TURN ON HAZARD LIGHTS BECAUSE OF IT ALSO BATTERY WILL TAKE U JUMP BUT WILL NOT KEEP THE CHARGE IN THE BATTERY. I WAS DRIVING HOME AND ON A FLAT STREET THE CAR WAS LOSING ALL INSTREMENT LIGHTS THE POWER STEARING LIGHT CAME ON AS WELL AS THE BATTERY LIGHT THE ABS LIGHT AND THE IMS LIGHT. I HAD TO FORCE THE WHEEL TO TURN TO A SAFE LOCATION DUE TO BEING UNABLE TO TURN ON ANY WARNING LIGHTS. I COULD HAVE BEEN HIT BY ANOTHER VEHICLE. I WAS DRIVING IN CITY CONDITIONS. I BROUGHT MY VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAY MY VIN NUMBER DOES NOT MATCH THE RECALLED ONE.

SHOULD YOU HAPPEN TO LOSE BATTERY POWER, HONDA'S "IMMOBILIZER" ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM WILL LOSE ITS MEMORY AND UNABLE TO RECOGNIZE THE OWNER'S KEYS. HONDA'S SOLUTION IS TO HAVE THE CAR TOWED INTO THE LOCAL DEALER WHERE THE UNIT AND KEYS NEED TO BE RE-CODED. THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME TWICE IN A YEAR'S TIME. NOT ONLY IS THIS COSTLY, INCREDIBLY INCONVENIENT, BUT A SAFETY HAZARD SHOULD IT HAPPEN ON A ROAD TRIP. HONDA REFUSES TO DO ANY ACCOMMODATION OR FIX OF THIS PROBLEM.

WHILE DRIVING MY BATTERY LIGHT CAME ON THE DASHBOARD. I TOOK IT TO THE NEAREST AUTOZONE TO GET THE BATTERY CHECKED. THEY CHECKED THE BATTERY AND THE MANAGER OF AUTOZONE TOLD ME IT WAS NOT THE BATTERY BUT THE ALTERNATOR NOT GIVING THE CAR ENOUGH POWER. HE TOLD ME NOT TO DRIVE IT TO LONG OR I COULD GET STRANDED. I WAS NEAR A RELATIVES HOUSE, WHILE DRIVING TO MY RELATIVES HOUSE MY A/C AND RADIO WHICH WERE ON AT THE TIME TURNED OFF, AND SEVERAL LIGHTS OF THE DASHBOARD CAME ON. I WAS PANICKED BUT MADE IT SAFELY TO MY RELATIVES HOUSE. A MECHANIC CAME TO MY RELATIVES HOUSE, AND DISCOVERED THAT THERE WAS A SHORT-CIRCUIT, THE WIRES WERE BURNT AND CAUSED THE ALTERNATOR TO CRACK. THE MECHANIC SAID TO ME IN SHOCK THAT MY VEHICLE COULD HAVE EXPLODED. THE WIRES WHICH ARE 'THE ENGINE WIRING HARNESS' HAD CAUGHT FIRE AT THE TIP WHICH CONNECTS TO THE ALTERNATOR. THE CAR COULD HAVE CAUGHT FIRE.

6/2013 CAR ACCIDENT I HIT A PARKED CAR TRAVELING AT APPROXIMATELY 20-25 MILES PER HOUR. THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE COMPANY CHOSEN TO DO THE WORK (CUSTOM INNOVATIONS IN EUGENE, OREGON) DID NOT REPAIR THE MOTOR MOUNTS. WHICH IM VERY UPSET ABOUT AND TRYING TO DEAL WITH. AFTER HAVING THE WORK DONE THE CAR WAS TAKEN TO HONDA (KENDALL HONDA ALSO IN EUGENE, OREGON) TO HAVE AN ASSESSMENT OF MY CAR DIAGNOSED. THE WAS THE MOTOR MOUNT ISSUE AND OTHER ITEMS OIL CHANGE, TRANSMISSION FLUSH AND THE SRS LIGHT WAS ON. HONDA SERVICE DEPT. COULD NOT DIAGNOSE THE SRS AND SAID THEY WOULD GET BACK TO ME. THEY NEVER DID. APPROX 1MO. DIAGNOSIS AT HONDA, I WAS SITTING IN A PARK PARKING LOT CHARGING MY PHONE IN THE CAR WITH IT IN THE ACCESSORY POSITION. I HAD BEEN THERE ABOUT 10 MINUTES WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN THE DRIVERS SIDE AIRBAG IN THE SEAT AND THE REAR DRIVERS SIDE CURTAIN AIR BAG DEPLOYED. SCARED THE CRAP OUT OF ME AND MY DOG. I SUFFERED MINOR CUTS, ABRASIONS AND SEVERE BRUISING TO MY LEFT ELBOW AND TRICEP. I IMMEDIATELY WENT TO HONDA. IT WAS A SUNDAY SO ONLY THE SALES TEAM WAS THERE. I WENT AGAIN ON MONDAY ONLY TO BE SENT AWAY, WITH A WE WILL CALL YOU.....VERY DISMISSIVE AND VAGUE. THEN AFTER CALLING 5-6 TIMES THEY FINALLY SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT TO LOOK INTO IT. AFTERWARDS, THEY DIDN'T HAVE MUCH TO TELL ME EXCEPT THAT IT WOULD COST ME THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO REPAIR AND NO THEY DIDN'T HAVE AN ANSWER FOR WHY THE AIRBAGS WENT OFF. THE CIVIC WOULD START FOR A FEW SECONDS AND THEN SHUT DOWN. THE ANTI-THEFT IMMOBILIZER INDICATOR LIGHT CAME. ALL THREE OEM KEYS DID NOT WORK. THIS RESULTED IN THE NEED FOR A LONG DISTANCE TOW TO THE HONDA DEALERSHIP, AS WELL AS $209 IN REPAIRS. SINCE THEN, THE SOFTWARE HAS BEEN EXECUTING THE IMA BATTERY RECALIBRATION ROUTINE WITH INCREASING FREQUENCY, TO THE POINT NOW WHERE THE RECALIBRATION IS OCCURRING 1-2 TIMES PER DAY AT UNPREDICTABLE TIMES DURING MY COMMUTE TO AND FROM WORK. DURING THE RECALIBRATION PERIOD OF ABOUT 5-7 MINUTES, THE IMA IS NOT AVAILABLE TO ASSIST ACCELERATION. THE ACCELERATION IS SUDDENLY SLUGGISH WHEN RECALIBRATION BEGINS, AND DOES NOT RESUME ITS NORMAL CHARACTERISTIC UNTIL THE RECALIBRATION FINISHES. SINCE I HAVE GOTTEN THE IMA BATTERY UPGRADE THE CAR BATTERY COMPLETELY DISCHARGES RANDOMLY SEVERAL TIMES A DAY. WHEN THE BATTERY DISCHARGES THE CAR LOOSES A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF ITS ACCELERATION. I HAVE HAD THREE INCIDENTS SINCE THIS UPGRADE WHERE I HAVE NEARLY HAD ACCIDENTS DUE TO THIS PROBLEM. ONCE WHILE TURNING ONTO A BUSY STREET ON A HILL THE BATTERY DISCHARGED AND I LOST THE ACCELERATION AND THE ONCOMING CAR ALMOST HIT ME. I HAD A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE ON THE HIGHWAY WHEN I PULLED INTO THE FAST LANE TO PASS A CAR AND I LOST PICK UP AND THE CAR FAR BEHIND QUICKLY CAUGHT UP AND HAD TO SLAM ON THEIR BREAKS. THE THIRD EPISODE IS WHEN I CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP ON A VERY STEEP HILL. WHEN I WENT TO DRIVE FORWARD AGAIN THE BATTERY DISCHARGED AND DESPITE BEING IN THE DRIVE GEAR AND DESPITE PUSHING THE GAS PEDAL TO THE FLOOR I KEPT ROLLING BACKWARDS. I ENDED UP ROLLING BACKWARDS DOWNHILL AND TURNED INTO SOMEONE'S DRIVEWAY AND TURNED AROUND. I DROVE AROUND UNTIL THE BATTERY RECHARGED AND THEN WAS EVENTUALLY ABLE TO DRIVE UP THE HILL. WHEN I BROUGHT THESE CONCERNS UP WITH MY LOCAL HONDA DEALERSHIP THEY AGREED THIS DID NOT SOUND NORMAL. AFTER THEY TEST DROVE IT AND RAN TESTS THEY DID NOT FIND A PROBLEM SO THEY CALLED HONDA CENTRAL. THEY WERE TOLD THAT IT IS NORMAL FOR THE BATTERY TO DISCHARGE RANDOMLY THROUGH OUT THE DAY SINCE THE UPGRADE. THE INTEGRATED MOTOR ASSIST SYSTEM FAILS FOR NO APPARENT REASON. THIS HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES. THE FIRST TIME I HAD PARKED THE CAR OVERNIGHT AND THE BATTERY CHARGE INDICATOR WAS NEAR THE TOP. WHEN I DROVE TO TOWN IN THE MORNING AND STOPPED AT A STOP LIGHT ON A HILL, WHEN I ACCELERATED THERE WAS NO MOTOR ASSIST AND THE CAR WAS VERY UNDERPOWERED. THE BATTERY CHARGE INDICATOR SHOWED NO CHARGE. IT DOES CHARGE AGAIN TO NORMAL, BUT YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN THIS MAY HAPPEN. I BELIEVE THIS COULD BE VERY DANGEROUS IN ON A FREEWAY ON RAMP OR TWO LANE ROAD PASSING SITUATION.

BATTERY BEGAN PERFORMING WHAT IS KNOW AS A CALIBRATION WHERE ALL MOTOR ASSIST CEASES AND THE BATTERY RECHARGES. ONCE IN A WHILE THIS IS OKAY HOWEVER IT GRADUALLY GOT MORE AND MORE FREQUENT TO THE POINT IT BECAME A DAILY ROUTINE OR EVEN OCCURRED MULTIPLE TIMES WITHIN THE DAY. ONE COLD MORNING THE IMA (BATTERY LIGHT) CAME ON. AFTER TAKING THE CAR INTO HONDA, THEY PERFORMED 6 SOFTWARE UPDATES. SINCE THAT TIME CALIBRATIONS HAVE INCREASED IN FREQUENCY. THE BATTERY WILL NOW CALIBRATE AFTER SITTING FOR AS LITTLE AS 1 HOUR AND WILL OFTEN CALIBRATE SEVERAL TIMES WITHIN A SINGLE COMMUTE. AT ONE POINT OVER THE COURSE OF THE DAY, ABOUT 80 MILES, THERE WERE 5 CALIBRATIONS. A FEW DAYS LATER THE CAR PERFORMED 4 CALIBRATIONS IN A 20 MILE STRETCH. THE IMA LIGHT HAS NOT CAME BACK ON AT THIS POINT BUT I DID TAKE THE CAR TO HONDA. THEY WERE UNABLE TO REPRODUCE THE CONDITION. AT THIS TIME NOTHING HAS BECOME OF THE CALIBRATIONS. WHILE THEY HAVE BEEN MERELY ANNOYING I AM CONCERNED THAT THEY POSE A HIGH SAFETY RISK AS SHOULD THE CALIBRATION COME AT THE BEGINNING OR IN THE MIDDLE OF A HEAVY ACCELERATION, THE CAR WILL LOOSE SIGNIFICANT POWER AND CAN POTENTIALLY CAUSE A HAZARDOUS SITUATION THAT COULD EASILY RESULT IN A COLLISION.(WHEN THE BATTERY CALIBRATES, GETTING THE CAR TO ACCELERATE IS LIKE PUSHING A FREIGHT TRAIN). *TR

CAR 'FREEZES' AND STRUGGLES TO GET UP HILLS. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS DRIVING IN STREET OF SAN FRANCISCO. RECENTLY STRUGGLED TO GO UP A HIGHWAY ONRAMP AT 25-30MPH - NO LOAD IN CAR OTHER THAN ME. IN RESPONSE TO A RECALL NOTICE, I TOOK MY 2006 HONDA CIVIC HYBRID IN TO "UPDATE THE SOFTWARE TO EXTEND THE LIFE OF THE BATTERY." UNFORTUNATELY, MY CAR NO LONGER DRIVES LIKE A HYBRID: THE MOTOR DOES NOT STOP, EVEN IF I AM STOPPED FOR SEVERAL MINUTES, WHEREAS, BEFORE, IT STOPPED EVERY TIME THE CAR DID. THE BATTERY DOES NOT ASSIST NEARLY AS OFTEN, AND THE GAS MILEAGE HAS DECREASED SIGNIFICANTLY. I CALLED THE DEALER, FREEWAY HONDA IN TUSTIN, AND REQUESTED THAT THEY REINSTALL THE OLD SOFTWARE, BUT THEY REFUSED. I WAS TOLD THAT NO THE BATTERY PROBLEM SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN FOUND ON 8/23 AND THAT IT COULD HAPPEN OVERNIGHT - THAT THERE IS NO WAY TO DETERMINE WHEN YOUR CAR WILL DIE! PRIOR TO THE UPDATE THE VEHICLE WOULD OFTEN LOSE BATTERY CHARGE SUDDENLY, RESULTING IN A SIGNIFICANT LOSS OF POWER AND AT ONE POINT STRANDING ME IN AN INTERSECTION WHILE TURNING LEFT IN FRONT OF ONCOMING TRAFFIC IN JULY, 2010. IT BASICALLY RUNS OFF THE ENGINE. THE ONLY TIME THE INTEGRATE MOTOR ASSIST UNIT WORKS IS WHEN THE CAR IS FIRST MOVING FROM A STOP, AND EVEN THEN IT IS RELATIVELY USELESS. THE VEHICLE PREVIOUSLY WAS EXCELLENT. MOTOR ASSIST WORKED GREAT. HONDA ISSUED RECALL UPDATE TO REDUCE THE NUMBER OF CLAIMS FOR EARLY BATTERY FAILURE. THEY HAVE SHUT OFF THE HYBRID SYSTEM IN ORDER TO STOP BATTERY FAILURE WHICH WOULD HAVE COST THEM OVER $2000 PER CAR TO REPLACE. THEY HAVE NOT EXTENDED THE WARRANTIES OF EXISTING OWNERS LIKE MYSELF WHO HAVE 60,000 MILES. THE BATTERY WILL NOW LAST TO THE END OF THE WARRANTY PERIOD BECAUSE IT NO LONGER NEEDS TO WORK. ACCORDING TO THE DASHBOARD, THE CAR IS CONSTANTLY CHARGING THE BATTERY, EVEN WHEN I PUSH THE PEDAL TO GET ONTO A HIGHWAY. THIS IS NOT THE HYBRID CAR I PURCHASED AND USED FOR THE PAST 4 YEARS. IT IS BASICALLY A GAS ENGINE WITH 40 HP. I HAVE A 2006 HONDA CIVIC HYBRID THAT I PURCHASED NEW IN CALIFORNIA IN JULY, 2006. I'M HAVING A SERIOUS AND DANGEROUS PROBLEM WITH THE HYBRID SYSTEM (IMA AS HONDA CALLS IT), BUT HONDA KEEPS TELLING ME ITS NORMAL BECAUSE THERE HAS NOT BEEN A FAULT CODE. THE PROBLEM IS THAT LAST YEAR I STARTED TO NOTICE THE HYBRID BATTERY WAS HAVING INCREASING TROUBLE HOLDING A CHARGE AND ACCURATELY REPORTING IT'S CHARGE CONDITION. THE MOST COMMON SYMPTOM IS THAT I'LL START DRIVING WITH THE CHARGE BEING REPORTED AT 70% FULL OR SO, AND WITHOUT WARNING, THE CHARGE DROPS TO 0 AND THE CAR BEGINS TO AGGRESSIVELY RECHARGE THE BATTERY. THIS AGGRESSIVE RECHARGING TAKES ABOUT 5-10 MINUTES AFTER WHICH IS REPORTS IT IS FULL. BUT HERE'S WHERE THE DANGER LIES, IN THE FIRST COUPLE OF MINUTES, THERE IS NO ASSIST AVAILABLE FROM THE HYBRID BATTERY. WHEN STARTING FROM A STOPPED POSITION, THE CAR IS EXTREMELY SLUGGISH AND SLOW. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL CASES WHERE I HAVE BEEN PULLING ACROSS AN INTERSECTION WITH CROSS TRAFFIC THAT DOESN'T STOP AND THE CAR, WITHOUT WARNING, HAD SLIPPED INTO THIS RECHARGE STATE AND NEARLY RESULTED IN AN ACCIDENT - THE ONCOMING CARS HAD TO BRAKE AS I MOVED SLOWLY ACROSS THE INTERSECTION. MY HONDA DEALER AND HONDA OF AMERICA WILL NOT LOOK INTO THE PROBLEM UNLESS THERE IS A FAULT CODE. I KNOW THAT OTHERS HAVE HAD ALMOST THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM WITH THEIR CIVICS. HYBRID BATTERY IMMEDIATELY & WITHOUT WARNING LOSES ITS ENTIRE CHARGE (FROM FULL TO ZERO IMMEDIATELY) CAUSING A FORCED MAJOR RECHARGE OF HYBRID BATTERY, GIVING THE CAR ALMOST NO POWER WITH NO WARNING (UNDER NORMAL CONDITIONS IT NEVER REACHES ZERO--A MILD RECHARGE WILL KICK IN ONCE IT GETS HALF-FULL). BUT NOW IT GOES FROM FULL TO ZERO IMMEDIATELY WITH NO WARNING. ALMOST CAUSED ACCIDENT THIS MONTH WHEN IT HAPPENED AGAIN WHILE ON FREEWAY (ALMOST GOT SMASHED INTO WHEN LOST POWER ON FWY). HONDA'S TECHS VERIFIED THE PROBLEM WITH MY CAR BUT BECAUSE THEY RECEIVE NO ERROR CODE THEY REFUSE TO DO ANY FIXES AND REPLACE THE BATTERIES EVEN THOUGH PROBLEM IS WELL-KNOWN (JUST SEARCH THE HYBRID CAR FORUMS FOR OTHERS WITH THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM). HAPPENS A FEW TIMES EACH MONTH NOW, ALWAYS WITHOUT WARNING, ALWAYS IMMEDIATELY FROM FULL (OR NEAR FULL) TO ZERO. THIS IS NOT THE SAME AS A NORMAL GRADUAL DEPLETION AS YOU USE THE HYBRID SYSTEM UNDER NORMAL USE. IT SUDDENLY DISCHARGES THE HYBRID BATTERY FROM FULL TO ZERO AND FORCES A MAJOR RECHARGE PULLING AWAY MOST OF THE CAR'S POWER THAT CAN EASILY CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. BUT EVEN THOUGH HONDA HAS VERIFIED THE PROBLEM ON MY CAR THEMSELVES AND IT'S A KNOWN PROBLEM, THEY REFUSE TO REPLACE THE HYBRID BATTERY BECAUSE THEY DON'T GET AN ERROR CODE (AND IN CALIF BY LAW, HYBRID BATTERY HAS 8-10YR WARRANTY). I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO ACQUIRE ANY OTHER INFORMATION ABOUT THIS VEHICLE AND DUE TO THE FACT I HAVE PAID (PAYING) 35 THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR THIS VEHICLE I FEEL HONDA OWES ME AN EXPLANATION AT THE VERY LEAST.
