This Problem Across All Years
Gentlemen: On August 11, 2025, the 2023 Honda Civic, VIN # [XXX] , was involved in an accident on the Miami/Gainesville Highway, resulting in a side impact with a truck. Fortunately, nothing serious happened to the health of my son, who was driving the vehicle. However, I am writing to you, motivated by the fact that I notified Honda USA approximately a month ago of the following information, and I have not received a response. I consider it important that the vehicle be inspected because the airbags never operated despite the serious collision. This can be verified by inspecting the vehicle, which was a total loss, Progressive Insurance Company case # 25-759026303. I believe it is my duty to notify you of this situation and find out what happened to prevent further harm. Today I spoke with Honda USA via the chat on their website, and the response was that the case still doesn't have a manager assigned to service it. I think that's irresponsible. Thank you for your efforts in this regard. I remain at your service. Sincerely, [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

This was a single car incident (no other cars involved). The car was going on the 270 degree curved onramp to enter the highway. Lane Keep assist (LKAS) came on at or near the end of the onramp which caused the vehicle to head from the inside part of the lane/curve towards the left side of the onramp lane/curve and toward the left side retaining wall. Driver attempted to course correct but steering was not responsive in time and the car hit the left side wall completely disabling steering. The car came off the left wall and went across the onramp lane and struck the right side retaining wall before coming to a stop. Airbags did not deploy. Seatbelt may not have locked/tightened at impact with the wall either. LKAS initiated the move into the wall, the steering was stuck/non-responsive or perhaps slow to take driver input. Multiple previous reports to the dealer about steering being problematic were each unable to confirm a problem and this vehicle was not considered part of the existing potentially related recall. The LKAS is believed to have engaged with flashing warning just before crash. After the crash, the driver seatbelt "red X" shows on display, a LKAS error shows on display, and a supplemental restraint system error shows on the display.

My wife was wearing lap and shoulder seat belt. However, seat belt was not activated and remain loose. Due to loose seat belt, she was injured. Please help. Thank you.

I was driving on the freeway my car alerted me to hit the break as there was someone in front of me breaked. I hit my break and my airbags went off. There was no damage to the car in front of me at all that it felt unnecessary for an air bag to go off. my windshield cracked and airbags under my feet and front went off.
