I THINK THE SEAL MUST BE DEFECTIVE OTHERWISE THE RAIN WOULD NOT GET IN. THE FIRST INCIDENT WAS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY; THIS PAST INCIDENCE THE WARRANTY HAD JUST EXPIRED SO I WAS CHARGED $100 DOLLARS. I HAVE A FEELING THAT IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN AGAIN. I'VE NEVER HAD THIS HAPPEN ON OTHER CARS, THE SEALS NEVER LEAKED UNLESS I LEFT THE ROOF OPEN. SECOND, THE A/C FAN BLOWER RECENTLY WENT OUT, THIS JULY-AUGUST, MY LOCAL MECHANIC SAID THAT THE R & R BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR AND RESISTOR WIRE HARNESS BURNED OUT. I'VE READ THIS ON SEVERAL BLOGS, THAT THIS WILL HAPPEN REPEATEDLY DUE TO THE DESIGN AND RESISTOR CAPACITY. HIS SERVICE FEE TO REPAIR IS $300 DOLLARS; ABOUT $170 FOR LABOR AND $ 130 FOR PARTS, WHICH I THINK IS TOO HIGH.
