My steering wheel started making loud rattling and clunking noise. This happened when I turned or slowed down or went over a bump. It got worse very quickly. I suddenly could not steer at all. So I ran into a pole. Thankfully it wasn't another car or a person. Many people have this same issue. This needs to be recalled ASAP. It's either the pinion and rack issue or the steering wheel issue.

The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, he became aware that the electronic power steering was not functioning properly after the steering wheel briefly jerked back and forth, requiring increased effort to maneuver the vehicle. The vehicle returned to normal functionality, but the failure became regular. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the rubber coupling. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to Technical Service Bulletin 17-ST-002. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was unknown.

The steering wheel is locking up and unable to turn key/ignition while parked. This has happened multiple times. I jiggle the steering wheel while trying to turn key. It takes much effort and time until it finally unlocks. The first incident happened perhaps 2 years ago. This week it has occured 3 times within the past 3 days. I do not see any warning lights on my dashboard.

Since day 1. Brakes have failed. First recall took years. They “updated my software “ brakes still failed. They failed to believe me “Couldn’t find a problem “ there’s no warning lights no nothing. Out of nowhere. The Brake goes to the floor. Makes a grinding sound and your either going towards on coming traffic or a ditch. Brakes failed at numerous intersections. How I’m alive is beyond me. The best part, either the seat belt is too baggy or strangles you there’s no in between. My entire steering system is junk. wasted money on tires alignments brake pads brake censors. Dealership has another recall on these brakes with no remedy. I’ve sadly driven this car over 10 years with failing brakes. I drive with my right hand on the e brake ready to yank it at any given times. I’m honestly traumatized by this car. Engine and transmission are junk. Nightmare

The steering coupler is damaged and is causing unstable steering while driving. It’s causing the wheel to be wobbly with uncontrolled pulling which causes the car to suddenly pull to either side of the lane abruptly when driving. It is causing issues with the stabilizer bar and severe uneven wear of the tires; the right front passenger wheel feels like it will fly off at any time. The car isn’t safe to drive right now because it has progressively gotten worse with time. I’ve been advised by our mechanic that it is a wide range problem that is known about and should have been classified as a recall because it’s not safe. I am on a fixed income and cannot afford to get this fixed fight now so my car is sitting inoperable.

This problem, the imminent failure of a component connecting the steering wheel to the power steering assist, causes the steering wheel to travel about one inch before the front wheels even move. Then when they do, feedback to the steering wheel is a sloppy, shakey movement. This problem began as a small hesitation at the steering wheel which has increased over the past few miles. No warning lamps nor error codes were evident. I have read similar complaints, especially for 2013 Elantras, noting significant safety concerns were the part to fail completely, rendering the vehicle unsteerable. I plan to (slowly) drive my vehicle to a Hyundai dealer as I believe it to be unsafe. I'll ask their service department to save the failed part(s).

The contact owns a 2012 Hyundai Elantra. The contact stated that the vehicle was jerking while depressing the brake pedal. The check engine warning light was illuminated during the failure. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and the contact was informed that there was a short circuit in the engine wiring. Additionally, the contact stated that the steering wheel was shaking while driving above 50 MPH. The contact then received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V651000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was made aware of the issue and confirmed that parts were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was approximately 135,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

It started around a month ago it's a thumping clicking sound in my steering wheel it's getting worse everyday when driving on the road and I hit a bump in the road it wants to jerk out of my hands it's very hard to drive and keep from swerving around it sometimes feels like it's trying to stick or lock up I fear for my life and others life as well. I do know if it locks up it will cause me to lose control and wreck my car possibly ending in death for myself or others out on the highway. My horn doesn't work and I don't know if steering is the cause of that. I don't have any warning light that come on to check anything except the tire pressure light stays on and they are new tires. I keep a check on my car to keep it serviced and everything my tires aren't low at all I checked my oil on a daily basis and it read no oil on the stick so 2 quarts were added then I keep checking to see if I have an oil leak and there isn't one. I have spoken with multiple mechanics and have been told that unless they get into tearing it down and looking at it they couldn't give me an exact solution, but sounds like either an Intermediate steering shaft or a steering coupler bushing (MDPS) I have spoken with a dealership that stated there is no recalls but calling the recall number I have multiple ones. But haven't seen any on the steering. I have no documentation on manufacturer dealings or anything else .

The rubber coupler in the steering column has failed and is causing play in the steering wheel. This was diagnosed by a third-party service center, not a Hyundai dealer. When this was reported to the dealer's service center, they said that Hyundai would only replace this component under warranty for vehicles with a milage under 100,000.

Steering wheel clunks side to side, then at 40 mph it vibrates bad. This is a major driving hazard. from what I have read the manufacture is aware and is not recalling the motor driven power steering.

The issue is a thump in the steering column as you turn the steering wheel slightly from left to right and vice versa. Appears to be the steering column coupling. I have seen several videos on the issue and recalls for similar Hyundai vehicles. Unsure if this is a safety risk. The issue has not been confirmed by a dealer. There are no warning lights associated with this issue. The has not been inspected by anyone. Thank You.

When driving/start my car, the steering making sound and loosen as if the steering wheel is not stable. I took the car to a mechanic shop, I was told that they have had lots of complain about the same issue, that I need to take it to Hyundai dealer, they are the only one that can fix the problem.

Bought vehicle in 2020 and Power steering failure occurred in May 2021. Mechanic confirmed the problem and said it would be $1100 to repair. The EBS light is always on and it was not on prior to the power steering being lost. Having no power steering is putting everyone at risk. This vehicle is the only one we have for our family and commute to work takes a little over an hour.

LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL AND DEATH OF THE OCCUPANTS IS POSSIBLE. PROBLEM MANIFESTS AS A 'CLICKING' OR 'CLINKING' IN THE STEERING WHEEL WHEN TURNED, WITH WORSENING LOSS OF CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE.

I LIVE IN MISSOURI WHERE THEY STILL HAVE VEHICLE INSPECTIONS TO RENEW TAGS FOR LEGALLY DRIVING. GOT IN THE VEHICLE AND STARTED IT I THEN TRY TO USE THE STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS TO CHANGE RADIO STATION WOULD NOT WORK THEN TRIED THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STEERING WHEEL TO MAKE A PHONE CALL AND IT WOULDN'T WORK THEN I TRIED THE HORN AND IT WOULD NOT WORK. I LOOKED UP THE PROBLEM AND WHAT I FOUND IS THAT IT'S WHATS CALLED THE AIRBAG CLOCKSPRING SO THERE FOR THE AIRBAG IN THE STEERING WHEEL WILL NOT DEPLOY IN THE CASE OF AN ACCIDENT I HAVE RESEARCHED THAT MY VEHICLE IS NOT THE ONLY ONE AND WITH THIS ISSUE IT IS VERY UNSAFE AND WILL NOT PASS INSPECTION IN MY STATE

ONE DAY I NOTICED THAT MY STEERING WHEEL WAS LOOSE AND IT WAS MAKING A CLICKING NOISE. ONE ANOTHER OCCASION, WHILE I WAS DRIVING, MY VEHICLE I NOTICED THAT ALL OF A SUDDEN THE AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON. I THOUGHT THAT IT WAS A MINOR ELECTRICAL MALFUNCTION (BECAUSE MY FLAT TIRE LIGHT HAS BEEN ON FOR YEARS AND I NEVER KNOW WHEN I REALLY HAVE A FLAT), SO I IGNORED IT UNTIL I WENT TO USE MY HORN TO ALERT AN APPROACHING VEHICLE OF MY PRESENCE, AND IT DIDN'T WORK. IT HASN'T WORKED PROPERLY SINCE. IF I USE MY KEYS TO LOCK THE DOOR IT WILL BEEP, BUT IF I ATTEMPT TO USE THE HORN ITSELF I GET NOTHING.

WHEN COMING TO A STOP A PULSATING MOTION, SIMILAR TO A WARPED BRAKE ROTOR, WAS FELT. THE STEERING FLEX COUPLER PARTIALLY DISINTEGRATED CAUSING APPROX. 1/4 TURN SLACK IN STEERING WHEEL. COUPLER WAS REPLACED ON 8/5/2020. I DID NOT SUFFER ANY DAMAGE,BUT I ABSOLUTELY BELIEVE THAT THIS DESIGN IS FAR MORE DANGEROUS THAN THE TOYOTA AIR BAG DESIGN.

SINCE THE DAY I PURCHASED THIS CAR WITH ZERO MILES IT WOULD RANDOMLY CUT OFF AND IT WOULD DO THAT EVEN WHEN IN DRIVE LIKE IT WASNT GETTING GAS. THE TIRES ARE AWFUL THE SUSPENSION IS EVEN WORSE THEN MY AIR BAG LIGHT CUT ON OUT OF NOWHERE AND NOW MY STEERING COLUMN IS TOTALLY MESSED UP. DIRECTLY BEHIND THE AIRBAG. IT CLACKS BACK N FORTH AS YOU MOVE THE STEERING WHEEL EVEN EVER SO SLIGHTLY. IF I HIT MY BRAKES THE WHEEL SHAKES AND THE COLUMN RATTLES AND CLACKS, IF I GO OVER BUMPS IN THE ROAD OR RR TRACKS SAME THING, THE ENTIRE STEERING WHEEL SHAKES VIOLENTLY AND RATTLES AND CLANKS. I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY THREE DIFFERENT SHOPS THAT THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE WITH THIS CAR AND DESIGN. THE STEERING COLUMN WAS POORLY DESIGNED AND IS GOING TO BREAK IF I DONT HAVE IT REPLACED. THE COST TO HAVE THIS DONE IS ALMOST $1000 AND IT SHOULDNT BE AN ISSUE I HAVE TO PAY FOR BC OF THE POOR DESIGN. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAPPENS TO ME. THE EPS LIGHT TURNS ON, THE STEERING WHEEL GETS TIGHT. SO THE POWER STEERING DISCONNECTS FROM THE ENGINE. YOU LITERALLY CAN'T STEER. THIS LAST TIME IT HAPPENED I WAS DRIVING DOWN A GRADE AT NIGHT. IF INCOMING TRAFFIC WOULD OF BEEN COMING I WOULD HAVE CRASHED INTO THEM OR GO DOWN THE CLIFF. THE POWER STEERING WAS REPLACED ONCE BY DEALER ALREADY LESS THAN A YEAR AGO. THIS CAR IS UN SAFE AND I REFUSE TO DRIVE IT ANY MORE. I WAS ABLE TO PUSH IT IN NEUTRAL TO THE SHOULDER ONCE I PUT IT IN PARK THE CAR SHOOK AND IT SHUT DOWN.

SO MY CAR ALL OF A SUDDEN STARTED MAKING A STRANGE POPPING NOISE WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE. EVERYTIME I WOULD TURN MY STEERING WHEEL AT A CERTAIN ANGLE THE WHEEL WOULD POP. AS I DROVE THE CAR IT WOULD CONTINUE TO MAKE THIS AWFUL NOISE UNTIL ONE DAY IM DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND IT POPPED AND THE STEERING JERKED MY CAR OUT OF THE LANE . DRIVING HOME THE WHEEL WAS RATHER STIFF AND I WORRIED CONSTANTLY ABOUT GETTING IN AN ACCIDENT . MY REASON FOR THE STEERING ISSUE IS I WORRY SOMEONE WILL BE DRIVING THE CAR AND IT JERK THEM INTO A CAR COMING FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROAD WHICH WILL RESULT IN A HEAD ON COLLISION. SECOND ISSUE IS THE ELECTRONICAL SYSTEM IN GENERAL. EVERYTIME I START MY CAR IT DOESNT START ALL THE WAY AND IT DIES OUT MID DRIVING ., I ENDED UP PULLING OUT OF AN UP HILL PARKING LOT AND NOT BEING ABLE TO STOP THE CAR AT THE STOP SIGN BECAUSE THE CAR DIED OUT AFTER I HAD IT IN DRIVE. I HAD TO PULL UP AND BUMP THE CURB IN ORDER TO STOP THE CAR FROM ROLLING OUT INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC WHILE LEAVING THE PARKING LOT. I AM NOT SURE IF ITS DEALING WITH THE IGNITION IN GENERAL BUT THAT WOULD DEFINATLEY BE A SAFTEY CONCERN. MY OTHER ISSUE IS THE AIRBAG LIGHT WILL NOT GO OFF. AFTER A CERTAIN MILAGE THE LIGHT CAME ON AND I CAN NOT GET ANY MECHANIC TO EVEN ATTEMPT TO FIX IT OVER FEAR OF AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT AND HAVING TO TOTAL THE VEHICLE UPON REPAIR. I AM SERIOUSLY TERRIFIED IF I GET INTO A VEHICLE ACCIDENT THE AIR BAGS WONT GO OFF AT ALL AND IT WILL RESULT IN EITHER A REALLY SEVERE INJURY OR EVEN BE FATAL FROM AIRBAG FAILURE .

MY 2012 HYUNDAI ELANTRA HAS STARTED WITH LOOSE STEERING AND A LOUD CLUNKING NOISE EACH TIME THE WHEEL IS TURNED EITHER WAY. I HAVE CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID MY WARRANTY IS NOT COVERED. I HAVE READ A NUMBER OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SAME PROBLEM FROM OTHER OWNERS. I HAVE ALSO ASKED MULTIPLE OF MECHANICS AND THEY HAVE SAID THE SAME THING THAT HYUNDAI ELANTRAS ARE KNOW FOR STEERING WHEEL PROBLEMS. THE DEALERSHIP WANTS $135.00 TO LOOK AT IT, I'M SURE IT'S A MANUFACTURING PROBLEM AND SHOULD BE RECALLED OR COVERED. THIS OCCURS WHEN IN MOTION OR STATIONARY. IF YOUR ON THE HIGHWAY GOING AT A HIGH SPEED IT FEELS UNSAFE AND YOUR PUTTING YOUR FAMILY AT RISK.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 HYUNDAI ELANTRA. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE STEERING WHEEL MADE POPPING NOISES AND THE STEERING WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT THE REPAIRS WOULD BE EXPENSIVE; HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE WAS STILL ABLE TO BE DRIVEN. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS ON THE VEHICLE. NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE NOISES WORSENED AND THE VEHICLE'S HORN NO LONGER FUNCTIONED. IN ADDITION, THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS AT A LIGHT, THE VEHICLE AHEAD OF HER BEGAN TO REVERSE INSTEAD OF MOVING FORWARD. THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO SOUND THE HORN, BUT IT WAS DEFECTIVE. THE REAR OF THE PRECEDING VEHICLE COLLIDED WITH THE FRONT END OF THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE CONTACT SETTLED THE MATTER THROUGH THE INSURANCE COMPANY. THE DAY AFTER THE CRASH, THE STEERING WHEEL COMPLETELY SEIZED AND THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE CONTACT ASSOCIATED THE AIR BAG FAILURE WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 13V115000 (AIR BAGS, STRUCTURE); HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF THE CRASH. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 145,000.

AS I BACKED OUT OF A PARKING PLACE AND ATTEMPTED TO STOP THE CAR IN REVERSE TO CHECK THE AREA BEHIND ME, THE CAR STALLED OUT COMPLETELY, THE ENGINE STOPPED AND THE BRAKES WOULD NOT RESPOND AND SEEMED STUCK. DESCRIPTION BELOW: THE MDPS (MOTOR DRIVEN POWER STEERING) ASSEMBLY CONTAINS A FLEXIBLE RUBBER COUPLING WHICH MAY WEAR OVER TIME RESULTING IN A SLIGHT "CLICKING" OR "THUD" TYPE NOISE WHEN TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL. WEAR OF THE COUPLING DOES NOT AFFECT THE ABILITY TO STEER OR CONTROL THE VEHICLE AND IS NOT A SAFETY ISSUE.

CONSTANT CORRECTION IS MANDATORY OR I FEEL THE STEERING WHEEL WON'T BREAK FREE. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION. HYUNDAI ADVISED REPLACING THE MOTOR DRIVEN POWER STEERING COLUMN AT MY COST OF $1300 PARTS AND LABOR. I HAVE HAD THE STEERING COUPLER REPLACED FOR $100. THIS IS NOT THE FIX FOR THIS PROBLEM. THERE ARE SEVERAL VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE THAT SHOW THIS EXACT PROBLEM PEOPLE HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING WITH THIS SAME MAKE, MODEL, AND YEAR HYUNDAI!! APPARENTLY THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM AND IT IS VERY DANGEROUS WHEN TRYING TO STEER THE VEHICLE AND THE WIND IS BLOWING ACROSS THE INTERSTATE. ALSO, WHEN WE HAD THE VEHICLE LOOKED AT WITH ONE OF OUR OWN MECHANICS, AND NOT THE DEALERSHIP'S MECHANICS, HE PUT IT UP ON THE LIFT AND COULD HARDLY TURN THE WHEELS. HE COMMENTED THAT THE STEERING WAS AS TIGHT AS IF THE VEHICLE WAS A TRUCK!! THERE IS SOMETHING VERY WRONG WITH THE STEERING THAT COULD EASILY LEAD TO AN ACCIDENT.

WITH APPROXIMATELY 22,000 MILES OF DRIVING, WE HAVE DESTROYED THREE TIRES ON POTHOLES, FORTUNATELY ALL WERE AT LOW SPEED AND THERE WAS NO LOSS OF CONTROL. DEALER WAS ABOUT TO RELEASE CAR WHEN DRIVER DEMONSTRATED THAT GEAR SHIFT WOULD NOT MOVE OUT OF PARK. DEALER FOUND CODE C1513 BRAKE SWITCH SHORTED. BRAKE SWITCH WAS REPLACED. DEALER KEPT CAR A FEW DAYS WITH NO REPLICATIONS. 7 DAYS LATER, STARTING PROBLEM RECURRED AT DRIVER'S HOME AND AGAIN AFTER A DAY AT WORK. IN BOTH CASES, WHEEL WAS NOT IN "12 O"CLOCK" POSITION. IN CONVERSATION WITH DEALER, WE DISCUSSED THAT WHEN THE STEERING WHEEL IS LOCKED (NOT SURE OF DEFINITION), CAR SHOULD NOT START. HE RECOMMENDED JIGGLING THE WHEEL WHILE TURNING IGNITION. WHEN DRIVING THE CAR IT IS VERY HARD TO KEEP THE CAR IN A STRAIGHT LINE BECAUSE THE CAR LIKES TO VEER TO THE RIGHT AND LEFT AND YOU HAVE TO TRY REAL HARD TO KEEP IT STRAIGHT. THE STEERING BECOMES STIFF AT TIMES, MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO CONTROL THE CAR. I AM THE OWNER OF A 2012 HYUNDAI ELANTRA. I BELIEVE THIS CAR HAS A PROBLEM WITH THE STEERING SYSTEM! I HAVE TAKEN THE CAR TO THE SELLING DEALER AND WAS TOLD IT NEEDED AN ALIGNMENT AT A COST OF $90.00 (NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY). I HAD THE ALIGNMENT DONE AND IT DID NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM! I CONTACTED HYUNDAI CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE AND WAS TOLD TO TAKE THE CAR TO ANOTHER DEALER FOR EVALUATION. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSON TOLD ME TO EXPECT TO BE CHARGED FOR REPAIRS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY! THE SECOND DEALER ALSO SAID THE CAR NEEDED ALIGNMENT AT A COST OF $100.00! I DECLINED THIS REPAIR; IT HAD NOT CORRECTED THE PROBLEM THE FIRST TIME! I CONTACTED HYUNDAI CUSTOMER SERVICE AGAIN AND WAS TOLD THIS IS BEING MOVED UP REGIONAL! I HAVE NOT HAD ANY CONTACT FROM HYUNDAI REGIONAL AS OF THIS DATE! I BELIEVE HYUNDAI IS AWARE THERE IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM WITH THE STEERING SYSTEMS ON 2011, 2012 AND 2013 HYUNDAI ELANTRA AND HAS NO PLAN TO ISSUE A RECALL UNTIL SOMEONE DIES! I BELIEVE HYUNDAI'S PUBLIC POSITION ON THIS MATTER IT TO TELL CUSTOMERS THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THEIR CARS; THEY JUST NEED ALIGNMENT, AT THE CUSTOMERS EXPENSE! I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW 2012 HYUNDAI ELANTRA ON FEB. 10, 2012. WITHIN SEVERAL WEEKS I NOTICED THE GAS DISAPPEARING SO QUICKLY SO I BEGAN FILLING THE TANK AND TAKING PICTURES. I BOUGHT THIS PARTICULAR VEHICLE DUE TO THE FACT IT ADVERTISED 40 MI. GAL ON HIGHWAY AND 29 CITY. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP, I WAS TOLD TO FILL CAR AND RESET TRIP AND DRIVE ON HIGHWAY. I DID AS THEY SAID ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS BEFORE GOING BACK. THE TRIP CONTINUED TO READ 18 MPH AND APPROXIMATELY (AS LOW AS 10.9 AND AS HIGH AS 24.8 MPG) ONE OF THE MECHANICS (I GUESS HE WAS A MECHANIC) TOOK IT FOR A RIDE, I WAITED; HE WAS GONE AN HOUR. WHEN HE GOT BACK HE SAID HE DROVE 47 MILES AND GOT IT TO READ 33 MPG IN WHICH HE SAID HE COMBINED CITY AND HIGHWAY TOGETHER. I HAVE NEVER GOT IT TO DO THAT AND I HAVE BEEN TRACKING IT CLOSELY SINCE I BOUGHT IT. ALSO, THE STEERING WHEEL SQUEALS, I TOLD THEM; THEY SAID IT IS NOTHING. THE BRAKES (ALLOYED WHEELS) SQUEAL AFTER IT RAINS, THEY SAID IT IS NOTHING. I SMELLED SOMETHING COMING FROM CABIN FILTER, THEY SAID IT IS A BIG JOB TO TAKE APART TO SEE WHAT THE SMELL IS AND THEY SAID THEY BELIEVED IT IS A DEAD ANIMAL IN WHICH I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR, I TOLD THEM TO FORGET IT. MY CAR BEGAN PULLING STRONGLY TO THE LEFT AT VARIOUS SPEEDS. I CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP AND ARRANGED TO HAVE THEM LOOK AT IT. OUR DEALERSHIP FIRST SUGGESTED A ROADFORCE BALANCE AND WHEEL ALIGNMENT AND WANTED TO CHARGE US $250. SINCE THE CAR HAD RECENTLY BEEN TO THEM FOR SERVICE INCLUDING TIRE BALANCING AND ROTATION, I PUSHED BACK AND REFUSED THIS SUGGESTED REMEDY. I HAD READ ONLINE HOW PEOPLE WERE EXPERIENCING THIS "PULLING" PROBLEM. IT DOES MAKE YOUR ARMS TIRED FIGHTING TO STAY ON THE ROAD. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP MANAGEMENT AND INFORMED THEM OF THE IDENTICAL COMPLAINTS I WAS FINDING ONLINE. TO THE MANAGER AND OUR SALESMAN'S CREDIT, THEY MADE THE SERVICE DEPT LOOK HARDER.
