Vechile bought new less than 6 months ago. Seat belt of passenger side does not function properly. Federally seat belts required to operate vehicle. I have small children to buckle into this seat. Safety concern since death could happen. Attempted to have dealer fix 3 times within the month and unable. Stop sale has been issued now on this vehicle. Completely unsafe.
The contact owns a 2025 Hyundai Palisade. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V607000 (Seat Belts); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that on a separate occasion, while trying to lock the seat belt, the seat belt failed to click and lock securely. The contact was unsure if the seat belt was secured. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the vehicle was not inspected or repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue; however, no assistance was offered. The contact parked and had not driven the vehicle due to safety concerns. The failure mileage was approximately 2,500.

the abs system doesn't work properly on uneven, low speed roads. the brakes will not stop i have almost wrecked on multiple occasions. the seat belt located in the middle row, the middle seat belt gets stuck in the plastic causing the belt to stay loose. the vehicle also will shut its self down into "accessory" mode and put me into park not allowing me to move from traffic. it will either "reboot" or power off fully if i hit the ignition, i never know which it will do until it does it. it will sputter as if it is trying not to die if i am setting in a line or parked with the car on.
The contact owns a 2025 Hyundai Palisade. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V607000 (Seat Belts). The local dealer was contacted and confirmed the recall status. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. The contact had not experienced a failure.
The second row captains chairs are able to be buckled when any booster or car seats are in the seat. The seat belt buckle is too far flush into the seat, so when any car seat/booster seat is in the seat, the buckle is inaccessible and blocked and the seat belt is not able to be used. We had to purchase seat belt extenders so the seat belt could be buckled. We spoke to Hyundai corporate and the local service center and they confirmed nothing could be done.
Randomly, the second row seat belts will unbuckle by themselves, and the seat belt warning will randomly go off indicating the seat belt was unbuckled all the while no one was sitting in the seat. At random, while using the adaptive cruise control, the car will brake by itself, when there is no car close enough in front to activate the braking system. A few times, while using the adaptive cruise control, the system speed up for no reason. The only way to get the car to stop speeding up was to disengage the cruise control. Braking did not help
After buckling the front passenger seatbelt and proceeding to drive, the front passenger seat belt disconnected without warning. This is the 5th time this has occurred during driving.
The front passenger side seatbelt disengages while driving- has happened on four occasions. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. This has not been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center. There were no warnings or indications that the seatbelt was loose or would disengage.
The seat belt on the driver’s side 2nd row captains chair and the 3rd row middle seat spontaneously unlatched while driving. This occurred 5 times over 2 days, at different speeds and locations. One in a parking lot, twice while exiting the neighborhood, and twice on the freeway.
The passenger side seatbelt will not buckle. There was no warning no signs of failure. The car has 3000 miles on it. Seems like something in the receiver part of the seatbelt is broken.
