VEHICLE CONTINUED TO CUT OUT WHILE DRIVING. RECEIVED SAFETY RECALL NOTICE AND HYUNDAI CLAIMED THERE IS NO REMEDY. SUBMITTED A CASE TO HYUNDAI MOTOR CORP TO ASSIST WITH A DOLLAR BUYOUT AMOUNT SO THAT WE COULD PURCHASE OR LEASE A REPLACEMENT VEHICLE SINCE THERE IS NO REMEDY, NO ETA FRO A REMEDY AND WE DO NOT HAVE A WORKING VEHICLE AT THIS TIME. THEY DECLINED OUR REQUEST STATING THAT WE HAD TO JUST KEEP FIXING THE CAR UNTIL THERE WAS A REMEDY. I EXPLAINED THAT IT IS A SAFETY RISK FOR MY 77 YEAR OLD MOTHER TO BE DRIVING THAT UNSAFE VEHICLE UNTIL HYUNDAI IDENTIFIED A SOLUTION TO THE VEHICLE STALLING ISSUE. PHILIP, AT HYUNDAI WAS RUDE, IMPATIENT AND JUST KEPT REPEATING HIMSELF UNTIL I ASKED HIM IF HE WOULD PUT HIS MOTHER IN THAT VEHICLE WITH THE 197 SAFETY RECALL. THEN HE WAS SILENT.
