TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 HYUNDAI XG350. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR REMAINED ILLUMINATED WHILE DRIVING, WHICH WAS A SAFETY CONCERN. THE CONTACT FELT AS IF THE AIR BAGS WOULD DEPLOY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER (COURTESY HYUNDAI, 939 NEWPORT AVE, PAWTUCKET, RI 02861) WHERE THE WIRE HARNESS AND THE DRIVER'S SEAT BACK WERE DIAGNOSED AS THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE AND WERE REPLACED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 37,000. *TR

BUT, NOW, IT IS ON PERMANENTLY AND THE MECHANIC WHO I SOUGHT IN SEPTEMBER 2014 TO GET IT TO TURN OFF WAS UNABLE TO DO SO. APPROXIMATELY DURING THE SAME TIMEFRAME, THE RADIO TURNS ON BY ITSELF.
