Ever since I bought my infiniti the air bag light flashed rapidly on the dash. I received notice a couple years ago about the air bags being recalled.I took my vehicle to Roseville Infiniti and supposedly the airbags were replaced I expected it to take a couple hours it was in and out in under 2 hours. When i left the deLership the light was still blinking and never quit blinking. My concern was to call and ask why it was still blinking ? I was told that it probably wasnt reset however the air bag was replaced . I was in an accident recently and it was a serious frontal collision and not one airbag went off . I was seriously injured my hand was fractured my left leg was hurt and I had a concussion and cervical sprain this all would have been prevented had my airbags deployed.
Good day! According to the VIN code of my car, there are revocable companies, the dealer refuses to replace it.

UPON INVESTIGATION, THE CONTACT ASSOCIATED THE FAILURE WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 20V008000 (AIR BAGS) HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. A DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND CONFIRMED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT UNDER RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 150,000.

TAKATA RECALL FOR AIRBAG TAKING TOO LONG!!!! FIRST THE DEALER SAID MY CAR WAS NOT SUBJECT TO THE RECALL. NOW YOUR SITE SAYS THE DEALER IS "WAITING ON PARTS". I THINK THE OLDEST CARS SHOULD BE FIXED FIRST.
TAKATA RECALL - NO PERMANENT REPAIR HAS BEEN DONE ON MY INFINITI FOR THE TAKATA AIRBAG, THIS HAS BEEN IN EFFECT SINCE 2/2016 AND IS UNACCEPTABLE. PLEASE GET THIS REPAIRED ASAP
URGENT SAFETY RECALL AIR BAG
THE RECALL ON THE AIR BAGS HAS KEPT ME FROM BEING ABLE TAKE MY KIDS TO THEIR EVENTS, TAKE PROSPECTS/CLIENTS OUT AND WHEN I CALLED INFINITY OF CHARLOTTE, NC-WHERE I PURCHASED THE CAR THEY WOULD NOT OFFER ME A RENTAL UNTIL FIXED. INSTEAD THEY OFFERED TO REPLACE THE AIR BAG WITH THE EXACT SAME MODEL AIR BAG. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT REP SAID THERE WAS ONLY A 1% CHANCE THE BAGS WOULD DEPLOY SPRAYING SHRAPNEL THROUGHOUT THE CABIN. THERE HAVE BEEN 15 DEATHS ALREADY AND I WOULD NEVER RISK SOMEONE BEING KILLED OR DISFIGURED. I UNFORTUNATELY DON'T HAVE A RENTAL CAR SO I RISK IT EVERYDAY. APPARENTLY THE OTHER MODELS ALL GOT A REPLACEMENT VEHICLE FROM ENTERPRISE RENTAL CAR BUT NOT THE 2003 FX35.
TAKATA RECALL (PREVIOUS CASE NUMBER 1039551) I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING UP WITH INFINITI CONSUMER AFFAIRS SINCE AUGUST 2016 AND WAS ADVISED TODAY FROM [XXX], REGIONAL MANAGER THAT THE OFFICIAL (NOT TEMPORARY PIECE) WAS AVAILABLE FOR INSTALLATION. I AM CONCERNED BECAUSE THE NHTSA WEBSITE STATES THAT AS OF 12/14/2016 "RECALL IS INCOMPLETE. REMEDY NOT YET AVAILABLE". THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP HAS BEEN DISHONEST WITH ME BEFORE AND I WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY ARE NOT GIVING ME A TEMPORARY REPAIR WITH "LOW RISK", BUT THE ACTUAL OFFICIAL REPAIR WITH "NO RISK" AS I DRIVE OFTEN WITH A 2 YEAR OLD, AND WIFE... TAKATA RECALL THE RECALL WAS ISSUED ON THIS CAR IN MAY 2016, AND THE DEALERSHIPS STILL DO NOT HAVE PARTS AS OF TODAY, 10/21/2016. WE ARE NOW BEING TOLD THAT THE PARTS WILL NOT BE HERE BEFORE MID TO END OF NOVEMBER. CUSTOMERS ARE BEING TOLD THAT IT IS SAFE TO STILL DRIVE THE CAR, AS LONG AS WE REFRAIN FROM ANYONE BEING IN THE FRONT SEAT. HOWEVER, THIS IS NOT FEASIBLE IF YOU ONLY HAVE ONE CAR, AND MULTIPLE FAMILY MEMBERS. I AM AWARE THAT MANY CARS HAVE BEEN AFFECTED BY THIS RECALL, BUT I DO BELIEVE THAT EXTREME URGENCY MUST BE GIVEN TO THE OLDEST MODEL YEAR CARS THAT ARE MOST AT RISK, AS IN THIS CASE. I REACHED OUT TO INFINITI CUSTOMER AFFAIRS TODAY, AND AFTER MUCH PROTESTING ON MY PART, THEY AGREED TO REACH OUT TO AN INFINITI RETAILER AND CALL ME BACK IN A WEEK, IN HOPES OF GETTING A LOANER VEHICLE. I WANT TO STRESS THAT WE HAVE MADE DUE WITH ANOTHER VEHICLE UNTIL NOW, BUT AT SOME POINT THE BURDEN CANNOT BE PLACED ON THE CUSTOMER. THEY SHOULD BE GIVING LOANER VEHICLES TO THOSE CUSTOMERS THAT HAVE HIGH RISK OLDER MODEL CARS. UNFORTUNATELY, THERE WAS NEWS OF ANOTHER PERSON BEING KILLED YESTERDAY IN CALIFORNIA AS A RESULT OF THE AIRBAG ISSUE. THIS PERSON ALSO HAD AN OLDER MODEL CAR. I AM SURE THIS CUSTOMER WAS ALSO ADVISED THAT IT WAS SAFE TO DRIVE THE CAR, AS I WAS TOLD NUMEROUS TIMES PRIOR. HOWEVER, THERE MUST BE SOME ACCOUNTABILITY ON THE PART OF THE CAR MAKER TO PROVIDE CONTINGENCY PLANS FOR CUSTOMERS AT HIGH RISK, SUCH AS CAR MODELS TEN YEARS OR OLDER. I AM CERTAIN MANY PEOPLE HAVE EMAILED IN, BUT I HOPE THAT THIS REACHES SOMEONE WHO CAN UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF SOME SORT OF CONTINGENCY PLAN TO BE GIVEN TO CUSTOMERS LIKE MYSELF WITH 2003 MODEL CAR, WITH NO PARTS IN SIGHT TILL AT LEAST END OF NEXT MONTH. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT PROVIDED.
