Complete center console not working. Stuck on auto a/c with no way to defrost windshield and it was raining. No modes work, no cd, no radio, no heat, no defrost- front or rear. I have already had this happen before, replaced motherboard and it cost me 1200.00 and that was in 2011. Now it has happened again. This is very unsafe. I had my children with me and it started raining and we couldnt get the windshield or rear to defrost so I couldnt see. Why arent all 2003's covered under the recall?????

THE CONTACT STATED THAT DUE TO THE FAILURE, THE DEFROSTER WAS ALSO INOPERABLE. HOLMAN INFINITI LOCATED AT 577 NJ-38, MAPLE SHADE TOWNSHIP, NJ 08052 WAS CONTACTED BY PHONE AND INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT SUBJECTED TO A RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. I TOOK THE STEPS TO HAVE THE RECALL MY FIXED BY A LICENSED MECHANIC AND STILL NOTHING WORKS. IT IS A SAFETY HAZARD AS I HAVE A YOUNG CHILD AND THE CAR ONLY BLOWS HEAT. IN CA IT IT STILL VERY HOT RIGHT NOW AND CANNOT AFFORD ANOTHER VEHICLE.

MY CAR SEAT MOVED ALL THE FORWARD WHILE DRIVING TO WORK IN DENVER METRO'BENCH AND BACK SUPPORT BOTH PUSHED ME A FEW INCHES FROM THE STEERING WHEEL. I HAD TO MOVE MY LEG WITH MY HAND TO REACH THE BRAKE PEDAL. ONE WEEK LATER, MY CAR HORN BEGAN BEEPING AND WOULD NOT STOP WHILE DRIVING. MY VDC AND BRAKE LIGHTS NOW STAY ON CONSTANTLY BECAUSE THE ANTI SKID DOES NOT WORK'I ALMOST WRECKED ON A SNOWY HIGHWAY. THE FRONT TIRES WEAR EXPONENTIALLY FASTER THAN THE BACK TIRES. I HAD BLOWOUTS TWO SEPARATE TIMES ON THE INTERSTATE. THE FRONT WINDOWS ARE NOW GLUED SHUT BECAUSE THEY ROLL DOWN ON THEIR OWN. THE AIRBAG LIGHT STAYS ON NOW TOO. I REALIZE IT'S AN OLD CAR; I BOUGHT IT FOR $8,000 4 YEARS AGO WHEN IT HAD ~95,000 MILES. NOW IT HAS ~140,000. THE LEVEL OF QUICK DECLINE IS TRULY FRIGHTENING THOUGH. I DON'T DRIVE MY 2003 INFINIT G35 ANY MORE AND AM APPREHENSIVE TO SELL IT TO ANYONE ELSE. THE CAR I LOVED IS NOW LIKE DRIVING A HORROR MOVIE.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL. THE FAILURE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 150,000.

TOOK TO A MECHANIC (NOT DEALER MECHANIC) WHO SAID IT WAS THE CAM SHAFT AND CRANK SENSORS. I LOOKED ONLINE AND SAW THAT THERE HAD BEEN A RECALL FOR THIS PART FOR THIS YEAR, 2003 FOR INFINITI G35. YET WHEN I CALLED, I WAS TOLD THAT MY VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THIS TO ME SEEMS HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS. MY 17 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING THE CAR AT THE TIMES IT SPONTANEOUSLY DIED. I WAS VERY GLAD THAT SHE WAS NOT ON THE FREEWAY OR SOMEWHERE ELSE BUSY WHEN IT HAPPENED! THIS VEHICLE HAS OTHERWISE BEEN COMPLETELY DEPENDABLE OVER THE PAST 14 YEARS OF OWNERSHIP, TO HAVE IT SPONTANEOUSLY DIE WHILE DRIVING IS VERY FRIGHTENING FOR A DEPENDABLE VEHICLE!

MY SLIP LIGHT AND VCT LIGHT HAS CAME ON IN MY 2003 INFINITI G35 AND ALSO THE EBRAKE LIGHT AND NON OF THEM WILL GO OFFF. I RECENTLY HYDRO PLANED IN THE RAIN DUE NOT BEING ABLE TO TURN MY TRACTION CONTROL ON ABS DID NOTHING TO STOP MY CAR FROM LOOSING TRACTION THIS WOULD NEVER OF HAPPENED IF MY CAR DID NOT HAVE THESE PROBLEMS. FURTHER LOOKING INTO IT THEY HAVE HAD MADE A TSB TALKING ABOUT HOW THE ABS AND ANTI WHEEL LOCK MAY MALFUNCTION. I WAS IN A 5 CAR PILE UP AND ALMOST DIED. IF MY TRACTION CONTROL WAS ABLE TO BE TURNED ON WITCH IT WOULDN'T LET ME I WOULD NOT OF HYDRO PLANED MY WHOLE BACK END JUST SWUNG FORWARD OUT OF NOWHERE PEOPLE THOUGH SOMEONE IN MY CAR PULLED MY EBRAKE THE WAY THE BACK END JUST SWUNG FORWARD. BOTH THE SLIP LIGHT AND THE VCT LIGHT REMAINED ON ALONG WITH MY EBRAKE LIGHT. I DRIVE MY CAR LIKE A BABY AND TO BARLEY PUSH THE GAS SHOULD NOT RESULT IN MY BACK END SWINGING FORWARD RESULTING IN COMPLETELY WRECHING MY CAR ALONG WITH 4 OTHER DRIVERS. I FEEL INFINITI IS DEFINITELY RELIABLE AND SHOULD OF RECALLED THESE PARTS DUE TO PUTTING PEOPLE IN DANGER INSTEAD OF MAKING IT A TSB LIKE ITS NOT A BIG DEAL. I AM ALSO NOT THE ONLY ONE IV FOUND A FEW PEOPLE THAT CRASHED THERE CAR DUE TO RAINY WETHER AND THE TRACTION CONTROL NOT WANTING TO TURN ON. I WAS ON THE FREEWAY DOING ABOUT 60 TO 65. IF I NEW INFINITI HAD SO MANY PROBLEMS I WOULD NOT OF PURCHASED ONE 77 BULLETINS AND AFTER READING ABOUT ALL THE PROBLEMS THE 2003 HAD AND ALL THE RECALLED PARTS I WOULD NOT OF PURCHASED IT AND PUT MY LIFE AT RISK. I FEEL INFINITI SHOULD BE RELIABLE IT'S COMMEN SENSE TO KNOW THAT FIRST HAND NOT FIXING THOSE PROBLEMS WOULD LEAD TO SERIOUS INJURIES AND I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE. WHILE DRIVING, THE VEHICLE TURNED OFF ON 2 OCCASIONS. ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, IT LOST POWER, AND THEN RECOVERED, BUT TWICE, IT LITERALLY TURNED COMPLETELY OFF. THE "SLIP", "VDC OFF", AND "SERVICE ENGINE SOON" LIGHTS ALL APPEARED. I TOOK IT TO MY LOCAL INFINITI DEALER WHO SAID IT WAS SUBJECT TO A RECALL FOR EARLIER-PRODUCED MODELS, AND SUBJECT TO A BULLETIN WHICH DESCRIBED EXACTLY WHAT HAD HAPPENED. THE CRANK POSITION SENSOR AND BANK 1 AND 2 OF THE CAM POSITION SENSORS HAD TO BE REPLACED AT A COST OF $563.03, AND INFINITI SAYS THAT WITHOUT NHTSA TELLING THEM TO PAY FOR IT, THEY REFUSE. THIS CAR IS A 2003, HOWEVER, IT IS IN MINT CONDITION WITH LESS THAN 55,000 ORIGINAL MILES ON IT--ALWAYS DEALER MAINTAINED.

PROBLEM HAS OCCURRED OVER PAST SEVERAL YEARS INTERMITTENTLY, BUT NOW WILL NOT FUNCTION AT ALL. NISSAN IS REFUSING TO HONOR THEIR OWN CAMPAIGN BY SAYING OUR VIN # WAS NOT COVERED BY CAMPAIGN EVEN THOUGH IT IS IN THE RANGE OF VIN #'S LISTED IN THE CAMPAIGN.

IF THIS WERE TO HAPPEN WHILE THE DRIVER WAS NOT PRESENT, DRIVER WOULD HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING IF THE HORNS WERE WORKING UNTIL THEY WERE REQUIRED. OTHER CASES OF THIS HAVE BEEN DOCUMENTED ON G35DRIVER.COM. I AM THE FIRST OWNED OF THE CAR AND IT HAS BEEN GARAGED FOR ALL OF ITS LIFE. I BOUGHT THIS CAR NEW FROM BOMMARITO INFINITI IN ELLISVILLE, MO IN 2003. I HAVE INTERMITTENTLY HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE STEREO SYSTEM AND AIR-CONDITIONING/HEATER CONTROLS WORKING. AT THIS POINT, THE HEATER IS STUCK ON 90 DEGREES, CONTROLS NOT WORKING, AND ALSO THE RADIO WILL NOT WORK FROM THE CONSOLE BUT I CAN CONTROL IT FROM THE STEERING WHEEL. I HAVE RESEARCHED THIS ONLINE AND SEE THAT IT IS A PROBLEM WITH THIS CAR AND YEAR BUT WHEN I CALLED THE INFINITI CONSUMER AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT I WAS TOLD THAT THIS PARTICULAR PART WAS NOT RECALLED ON MY CAR BUT OTHER CARS HAD BEEN AFFECTED. THIS CLEARLY IS A ONGOING ISSUE WITH THIS CARS CIRCUIT BOARD THEY SHOULD CONTINUE THEIR RESEARCH. I HAVE TO SAY AT LEAST IT IS WINTERTIME IN ILLINOIS RIGHT NOW OTHERWISE I WOULD BE DYING OF A HEAT STROKE DRIVING THIS CAR....

AS A RESULT THE THE FRONT AND REAR DEFROSTERS HAVE BECOME INOPERABLE CREATING A DANGEROUS DRIVING CONDITION SPECIALLY IN THE RAIN. THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE FOR ALL G35S MADE FROM 2003 -2005 AND INFINITI IS VERY WELL AWARE OF IT. HOWEVER THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING TO ADDRESS IT. BACK IN 2003 THEY HAVE DONE A RECALL BUT ONLY TO A LIMITED NUMBER OF CARS THAT HAD A PARTICULAR PART NUMBER. BUT THE TRUTH IS EVERY G35 WITH THE OEM UNIT IS VULNERABLE TO THIS ISSUE. IN ABILITY TO CONTROL THE DEFROSTERS AFFECTS THE VISIBILITY WHICH MAY CAUSE AN ACCIDENT THAT MAY RESULT IN INJURIES AND OR DEATH.

EVEN THOUGH I ADJUST THE VENTS CLOSED IT STILL BLOWS COLD AIR THROUGH THEM. THIS SEEMS TO BE AN ISSUE WITH THESE CARS AND CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY NISSAN WONT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS DESIGN FLAW. I ENDED UP TAKING MY CAR TO THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP AND HAD TO PAY A DIAGNOSTIC FEE, NO CODES CAME UP. BUT THEY ARE TELLING ME THAT THIS IS AN ISSUE WITH THESE CARS AND THE AUDIO FINISHER CIRCUIT BOARD WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED AT A COST OF 700.00.! THERE ARE SO MANY NHTSA COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS ISSUE. WE PURCHASED OUR SON AN INFINITI G35 COUPE FOR GRADUATION. WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH OUR PURCHASE AND TO SEE HIS EYES LIGHT UP WAS PRICELESS. AFTER A WEEK OR TWO OF HAVING THE CAR, THE RADIO STOPPED AND THE ENTIRE ELECTRIC CONSOLE SHUT DOWN EXCEPT FOR THE AIR, WHICH IS ON FULL BLAST WITH NO OPTION TO TURN IT DOWN OR OFF. MY HUSBAND SPOKE TO ONE OF THE INFINITI DEALERS WHO TOLD HIM THAT THERE WAS A RECALL ON THAT MODEL FOR THE FOUR DOORS ONLY AND THE SEDAN WOULD BE ALMOST $2000 TO REPAIR. I CALLED CORPORATE AND EXPLAINED THE SITUATION AND THOUGH THEY ARE AWARE OF THE ISSUE THROUGH NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS, THEY ARE BASICALLY NOT WILLING TO DO ANYTHING FOR THE G35 COUPES. IT HAS DONE THIS BEFORE, BUT IT HAS ALWAYS "COME BACK TO LIFE" IF YOU WILL, WITHIN 10 MINUTES. IT HAS NOW BEEN LIKE THIS FOR FOUR DAYS, BLASTING COLD AIR INTO MY CAR ON 33 DEGREE DAYS. I UNDERSTAND INFINITI RECALLED THE BOARD THAT THEY POORLY DESIGNED ONLY ON THE SEDANS. THIS BOARD DESIGN IS DEFINITELY A SAFETY ISSUE, LIVING IN THE MIDWEST, AND BEING MY ONLY MODE OF TRANSPORTATION. FROM ONLINE RESEARCH, THERE APPEARS TO BE NUMEROUS CASES WHERE THE SAME ISSUE HAS OCCURRED ON 2003 G35 COUPES, BUT INFINITI REFUSES TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR REPAIRS, BECAUSE THE VIN #'S WERE NOT PART OF THE ORIGINAL RECALL. INFINITI HAS COMPLETELY LEFT BEHIND OWNERS OF THE 2003 G35. THEY HAD A VOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN TO FIX THE 'AUDIO FINISHER' BUT ALL THEY DID WAS PUT A BAND-AID ON THE PROBLEM. THEY ONLY FIX THE PROBLEM ONCE, THEN THE PROBLEM CONTINUES TO HAPPEN ABOUT ONCE A YEAR. THEY OBVIOUSLY DID NOT SET UP THE RADIO/AC CONTROLS PROPERLY WHEN THEY ORIGINALLY MADE THE CAR, WHICH IS EXACTLY WHY YOU WON'T SEE THIS PROBLEM WITH THE 2004 MODEL. NOW ALL THEY SAY IS THAT IT'S MY PROBLEM TO GET IT FIXED. THIS IS A SEVERE SAFETY ISSUE FOR SOME PEOPLE, BECAUSE WE CANNOT USE THE DEFROST. FIRST DEFECT: WHEN I WOULD START MY CAR THE LIGHTS WOULD GO OUT AND THE RADIO, HEATING AND COOLING BUTTONS. THE FAN WOULD COME ONTO HIGH AND SWITCH TO AIRCONDITIONING. I COULD NOT TURN IT DOWN OR TURN IT OFF OR TURN ON MY DEFROSTER WHEN IT WAS 30 DEGREES IN THE MORNING WHICH MADE MY VISIBILITY VERY POOR. THE ONLY WAY TO GET THIS TO STOP WAS TO PULL THE FUSES. WE CHECK THE RECALL HISTORY AND FOUND THAT IT WAS ONLY A COURTESY RECALL AND WOULDN'T BE COVERED EVEN AFTER READING THAT HUNDREDS OF G35 OWNERS WERE ALL HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. WE HAD TO HAVE THE RADIO ELECTRONICS REMOVED FROM THE CAR AND SENT OUT TO BE FIXED. I THINK THIS ISSUE WOULD BE CONSISTED A SAFETY ISSUE WHEN YOU DON'T HAVE HEAT OR A DEFROSTER. SECOND DEFECT: THE PROBLEM STARTED WHILE THE CAR WAS IDLING AND IT WOULD STALL. THEN 3 DAYS LATER WHILE DRIVING AT 50MPH THE CAR TRIED TO STALL AND IT LOST ALL POWER AND THEN THE DASH LIGHTS CAME ON INDICATING SERVICE NEEDED. THE CAR SEEM TO LACK POWER. DID A RECALL CHECK AND FOUND THAT ALL THE CONDITIONS POINTED TO THE CAM SHAFT POSITION CENSOR FAILING. WE CHECKED THE VIN# AND OF COURSE MY CAR ISN'T ONE THAT IS ON THEIR RECALL LIST FOR THE SAME PROBLEM THEY HAVE ON OTHER G35 MODELS. THIS COULD BE A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE CAUSING AN ACCIDENT WHEN YOU STALL AND HAVE NO CONTROL OF YOUR VEHICLE GOING DOWN THE HIGHWAY. EVERY ISSUE I HAVE HAD WITH MY CAR HAS BEEN ON THE COMPANIES RECALL LIST BUT NOT MY VIN # FOR SOME REASON. THIS ISSUE TO NEED TO REVIEWED AND CORRECTED. LIKE THOUSANDS OF OTHER G35'S, MY VEHICLE'S RADIO AND AIR CONDITIONING CONTROLS HAVE BECOME UNRESPONSIVE. THE PANEL'S LIGHT GOES OFF AND NONE OF THE BUTTONS WORK. THE AIR CONDITIONING UNIT RESETS ITSELF TO 75 DEGREES AND AUTO CLIMATE, WHICH PROMPTLY RAMPS UP AND GOES FULL BLAST, WITH NO WAY TO TURN IT OFF. THIS PROBLEM ALSO DRAINS THE BATTERY WHILE THE CAR IS OFF. BEFORE I WAS AWARE OF THIS BATTERY DRAINING, I WAS AT A GAS STATION AT MIDNIGHT IN THE FREEZING COLD, WHEN THE CAR WOULD NO LONGER START. I WAS NEVER TOLD ABOUT THE PROBLEM BY INFINITI, AND THEY DID HAVE A RECALL FOR THIS BUT FOR A VERY SMALL RANGE OF VINS. ACCORDING TO MY DEALER, THIS IS ONE OF THEIR MOST COMMON JOBS AND NON-WARRANTY COVERED REPAIRS WILL COME UP TO $1300. SEARCHING ONLINE REVEALS MANY THREADS WITH HUNDREDS OF POSTS ABOUT THIS VERY SAME ISSUE. APPARENTLY GETTING THE REPAIR MAY NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM AND IT MAY RESURFACE 3-4 MONTHS LATER. SHORTLY AFTER PURCHASING MY INFINITI, I NOTICED THAT THE FUEL GAUGE WAS NOT REGISTERING THE LEVEL CORRECTLY. WHEN THE GAUGE REACHES APPROXIMATELY ONE-QUARTER TANK FULL, THE GAUGE DROPS TO WELL BELOW THE E MARK AND THE WARNING LIGHT COMES ON. EVEN AFTER PURCHASING APPROXIMATELY TWENTY DOLLARS WORTH OF GAS THE GAUGE STILL REGISTERS BELOW THE E MARK AND THE LIGHT STAYS ON. LAST WEEK ON SEPTEMBER 1, 2011, I WENT TO PURCHASE GAS BECAUSE THE LIGHT WAS ON. I KNOW MY TANK HOLDS TWENTY GALLONS WHEN EMPTY, SO I THOUGHT IT WOULD TAKE APPROXIMATELY SEVENTY DOLLARS TO FILL UP, BUT TO MY SURPRISE THE PUMP STOPPED AT FIFTY-THREE DOLLARS, WHICH WAS ABOUT THIRTEEN GALLONS. THE GAUGE ON THE DASH DID NOT EVEN REGISTER TO THE F MARK, IT STOPPED ON THREE-QUARTERS FULL, EVEN THOUGH I TRIED A COUPLE OF TIMES TO FILL THE TANK EVEN MORE. I REPLACED THE FUEL TANK LEVEL SENDER IN AUGUST OF 2011 WITH A NEW PART, BUT THIS HAS NOT HELPED. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE, AS I DO NOT KNOW THE CORRECT FUEL LEVEL IN THE VEHICLE, WHICH COULD LEAD TO MY STALLING OUT ON A ROADWAY AND AM NOT ABLE TO PULL TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE WHOLE CONTROL CONSOLE IS OFF, WE CAN'T EVEN TURN ON THE RADIO. WE TOOK THE CAR BACK TO THE INFINITI DEALERSHIP AND THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE US $135 TO TAKE A LOOK AT IT. THE RADIO VOLUME NOR CHANNELS CANNOT BE CHANGED (OTHER THAN FROM THE STEERING-WHEEL) AND THE AIR CONDITIONING IS STUCK ON THE LAST SETTING AND CANNOT BE CHANGED WITHOUT TURNING THE CAR OFF. IS THIS CAUSED BY A DEFECTIVE CONTROL BOARD? THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP CLAIMS THEY'VE NEVER HEARD OF THIS HAPPENING. ALSO THE CAR TENDS TO LOCK ON ITS OWN. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 INFINITI G35 SEDAN. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO TURN ON THE REAR DEFROSTER BUT IT WOULD NOT TURN ON. THE FAILURE CONTINUED INTERMITTENTLY AND THE CONTACT CALLED AN AUTHORIZED DEALER; HE WAS INFORMED THAT THE FAILURE WAS WITHIN THE AUDIO FINISHER CIRCUIT BOARD. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 75,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 88,000.

I JUST BOUGHT A USED 2003 INFINITI G35 A FEW MONTHS AGO. I BELIEVE I AM THE FOURTH OWNER. IT HAS RUN IMMACULATE UNTIL THE LAST COUPLE WEEKS. FOR SOME REASON THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM TAKES ITSELF INTO AUTO MODE AND THE RADIO LIGHTS GO OUT, ALONG WITH THE REST OF THE LIGHTS ON THE PANEL THAT CONTROL THE AC FUNCTIONS. I CANNOT USE ANY OF THOSE BUTTONS TO CHANGE ANYTHING. THE RADIO CONTINUES TO WORK AND I CAN STILL USE THE STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS TO ADJUST THE RADIO, BUT I CAN NO LONGER SEE THE LIGHTS THAT TELL WHAT STATION IT'S ON NOR ADJUST ANYTHING FROM THE PANEL. THE AC GOES OUT OF MANUAL MODE INTO AUTO MODE, WHICH IF I UNDERSTAND IT CORRECTLY, AUTO IS A NORMAL FUNCTION, ADJUSTING ITSELF TO MAINTAIN WHATEVER TEMPERATURE YOU HAVE IT SET AT, BUT THE FACT THAT I CANNOT CHANGE IT BACK TO MANUAL MODE, NOR ANYTHING ELSE ON MY OWN AFTER IT GOES IN THAT MODE, AND TURNS OUT THE PANEL LIGHTS, MAKES ME THINK THIS IS NOT RIGHT. THE RADIO AND CLIMATE CONTROL WILL APPARENTLY LOSE ALL INDICATORS, AS IF THERE IS NO POWER, BUT WILL CONTINUE TO FUNCTION, STAYING FROZEN ON AT THEIR LAST SETTINGS. THE RADIO VOLUME OR CHANNELS CANNOT BE CHANGED AND THE AIR CONDITIONING/HEATER,ETC. ARE STUCK ON THEIR LAST SETTINGS AND CANNOT BE CHANGED WITHOUT TURNING THE CAR OFF. THIS IS CAUSED BY A DEFECTIVE CONTROL BOARD BEHIND THE DASH. INFINITI/NISSAN IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM, AND HAS ISSUED A VOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN (# ITB03-007B) TO REPAIR THE 26,300 VEHICLES LISTED BY VIN # ON THE SERVICE BULLETIN. A FEW DAYS LATER THE TEMPERATURE CONTROLS STOPPED BEING ACCESSIBLE. THE BUTTONS FOR THE RADIO AND THE TEMP CONTROLS DON'T WORK. THE TEMPERATURE NOW DOES WHATEVER IT WANTS BASED ON THE AUTO CONTROLS. IT WILL RANDOMLY CHANGE WHETHER THE AIR BLOWS FROM THE FLOOR LEVEL OR ON TOP, AND CHANGE FORCE OF AIR THAT BLOWS OUT. THERE IS NO WAY OF SETTING DEFROST. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 46,000. THE CONSUMER STATED IN JANUARY 20009, THE DRIVER'S SEAT BEGAN TO ROCK BACK FORTH WHENEVER HE ACCELERATED FROM A COMPLETE STOP. AT FIRST, THE ROCKING WAS ISOLATED TO WHEN ACCELERATION OCCURRED FROM A COMPLETE STOP. HOWEVER, AFTER TWO WEEKS THE ROCKING WOULD OCCUR WHEN TRAVELING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS OF ABOUT 70 MPH. EVENTUALLY, THE CONDITION OF THE DRIVER'S SEAT BECAME SO SEVERE THAT THE SEAT COULD BE ROCKED BACK AND FORTH WITHOUT ANY PERSON SEATED IN IT. THE DRIVER'S SEAT ASSEMBLY WAS REPLACED AT THE CONSUMERS EXPENSE. UPDATED 02/09/11 THE CONSUMER STATED WHILE DRIVING IN INCLEMENT WEATHER, THE WINDOW DEFROSTER SUDDENLY SHUT OFF ON ITS OWN. AT THE SAME TIME, THE AIR CONDITIONER RESET ITSELF TO 60 DEGREES AND TURNED ITSELF ON AT MAXIMUM FORCE. THE LIGHTS ON THE CLIMATE CONTROL PANEL AND RADIO PANEL WENT DARK. ATTEMPTS WERE MADE TO SHUT OFF THE AIR CONDITIONER AND RESTART THE WINDOW DEFROSTED, BUT THE CLIMATE CONTROL BUTTON WERE NON-RESPONSIVE. IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE ONLY WAY TO CONTROL THE RADIO WAS THROUGH THE CONTROL BUTTONS LOCATED ON THE STEERING WHEEL. UNLIKE THE RADIO THERE WAS NO SECONDARY CLIMATE CONTROL BUTTON. WITHIN 30 SECONDS OF THE WINDOW DEFROSTER SHUTTING OFF, ALL OF THE WINDOWS INSIDE THE VEHICLE BECAME FOGGY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHERE IT WAS DISCOVERED THE AUDIO FINISHER CIRCUIT BOARD WAS DEFECTIVE AND THAT ALONG WITH THE RADIO WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED AT A COST OF $ 1,329.01. ORIGINALLY, WHEN THE CAR WAS UNDER WARRANTY, THE DEALER REPLACED SAID SYSTEM. THESE ARE ALL FACTORY PARTS. WHEN I REPORTED THE PROBLEM TO THE DEALERSHIP THEY SIMPLY TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE TO REPLACE THE AUDIO SYSTEM AND CIRCUIT BOARD UNIT AT A COST OF APPROXIMATELY $1500. THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN INTERMITTENT. I WROTE A LETTER TO INFINITI REQUESTING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, MORE THAN 6 MONTHS AGO, AND TO DATE NEVER RECEIVED A RESPONSE. I CONTACTED DEALER WHO SAID IT WAS THE RADIO CAUSING PROBLEM AT A COST OF $1200+. CONTACTED OUT-OF-STATE DEALER WHO SAID IT WAS IGNITION SWITCH. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 INFINITI G35 SEDAN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM WORKS INTERMITTENTLY, CAUSING LOSS OF DEFROST AND AIR CONDITIONING. DUE TO THE HIGH HUMIDITY IN HIS STATE, THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO DEFROST THE REAR GLASS DUE TO THE MALFUNCTION IN THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN DIAGNOSED BY THE DEALER. HE NOTICED SEVERAL COMPLAINTS ON THE INTERNET REGARDING THE SAME FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 132,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 133,600.

2003 INFINITI G-35 BLOWN UP IN DRIVEWAY AND HOUSE CAUGHT FIRE. *BF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT DETERMINED THE FIRE ORIGINATED INSIDE OF THE TRUNK WHERE THE TRUNK LIGHT BULB BECAME SO HOT THAT THE LIGHT BULB EXPLODED, THE HOT PARTICLES FROM THE LIGHT BULB CAUGHT THE TRUNK AND THE CONTENTS IN THE TRUNK ON FIRE. THE CONSUMER STATED SHE FORGOT TO CLOSE THE TRUNK SECURELY. BEFORE THE FIRE, THE CONSUMER STATED SHE HAD ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS WITH THE WINDOW AND SUNROOF. *JB

THE PAINT ON THE BUMPER CLEARLY DOES NOT MATCH TRUNK. POSSIBLY IN ACCIDENT, EVEN THOUGH CAR HAD 10 MILES ON IT WHEN BOUGHT. 4. THE CD CHANGER TAKES 9 SECONDS TO CHANGE CD? 5. THE HEADLIGHT SENSOR TURNS ON HEADLIGHTS WHEN PASSING UNDER SHORT BRIDGE-TO SENSITIVE. 6. DOCUMENTATION DOES NOT EXPLAIN WHAT THE AUTO VOLUME DOES. HAD TO LEARN BY TRIAL AND ERROR. 7. SEVERAL SQUEEKS AND RATTLES. ONLY 8000 MILES AND IT SOUNDS LIKE 60,000 MILES WITH ALL THE SQUEEKS AND RATTLES. 8. CANT TURN OFF THE TRACTION CONTROL, SOMETIMES YOU WANT TO HAVE FUN OR NEED TO GET OUT OF SNOWY TERRAIN. 9. HEATED SEATS ONLY HAVE 2 SETTINGS, TO HOT AND OK DURING COOL WEATHER. 10. GAS MILEAGE IS NOT WHAT IS REPORTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE NEVER GOTTON BETTER THEN 19 MPG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SOMETIMES AS LOW AT 12 MPG. 11. REAR DEFROSTER TAKES FOREVER TO EVEN GET FOG OFF THE GLASS, LET ALONE SNOW. 12. BRAKES ARE SQUEEKING. WHY, THE CAR IS BRAND NEW. 13. FRONT SEAT IS NOT AS COMFORTABLE AS I WOULD EXPECT FOR A CAR OF THIS PRICE. 14. NEED A VOLUME CONTROL THAT IS ROUND, SO YOU CAN ADJUST QUICKLY IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY, IE; DO I HEAR SIRENS?
