after being garaged for over 10 years the rear cross body member has severe rust rendering the car unsafe to drive . The rest of the body has little to no rust. I was unable to climb under the car to get better pictures but I did visually confirm while at my mechanics garage.

THE HINGES ARE CORRODING WHERE THEY ATTACH TO THE BODY OF THE CAR. BECAUSE OF THIS, WHEN THE HOOD IS OPENED, THE TORQUE FROM OPENING THE HOOD IS CAUSING THE HINGES TO BEND. IN ADDITION TO THE HINGES CORRODING AND BENDING, WHEN THE HOOD IS BEING OPENED, IT IS CAUSING THE ENTIRE HOOD TO SINK LOWER THAN IT SHOULD WHICH RESULTS IN IT DAMAGING THE FENDERS. THE HOOD RUBS AGAINST THE FENDERS CAUSING THEM TO BEND AND CHIP. AFTER LISTENING TO THE TECH, I DID SOME RESEARCH ONLINE AND FOUND THAT THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD THIS HAPPEN TO THEM.
