TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2012 INFINITI G37. ON MAY 23, 2019, WHILE DRIVING 5 MPH, THE CONTACT PULLED INTO A PARKING SPACE AT THE POST OFFICE. SUDDENLY, THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED, DROVE OVER A CEMENT BARRIER, AND CRASHED INTO THE BUILDING. ON JULY 3, 2019, WHILE DRIVING 10 MPH, THE CONTACT SLOWED DOWN TO PARK. ONCE AGAIN, THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED, DROVE OVER A CURB, AND CRASHED INTO THE SIDE OF A BUILDING. DURING BOTH FAILURES, THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES. POLICE REPORTS WERE NOT FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S HOME AND DEEMED TOTALED BY THE CONTACT'S INSURANCE COMPANY AFTER THE LAST CRASH. THE CONTACT CALLED INFINITY OF LYNNWOOD (17305 HWY 99, LYNNWOOD, WA 98037, (425) 409-6274) AND WAS ADVISED TO HAVE THE VEHICLE TOWED TO THEM FOR INSPECTION. SHE CAME TO THE END OF THE ROAD AT AN INTERSECTION DOING ABOUT 40 MPH AND TURNED TO THE LEFT TO AVOID GOING INTO A HOUSE. WHILE DRIVING ON FREEWAY, CLUTCH GOT STUCK. I WAS UNABLE TO SWITCH GEARS. I ENDED UP STOPPED IN THE #2 LANE AND COULD NOT MOVE. I HAD TO PUSH MY VEHICLE TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WITH THE HELP OF ANOTHER MOTORIST. I FINALLY GOT THE VEHICLE BACK INTO GEAR BY PULLING UP THE CLUTCH USING THE TOP OF MY SHOE. AFTER I RESUMED DRIVING, THE CLUTCH GOT STUCK AGAIN. I BROUGHT THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP AND INFORMED THEM OF THE ISSUE. I ALSO OPENED A FILE WITH INFINITI USA. I HAVE VIDEO FROM WHEN MY CAR WAS DISABLED SHOWING THAT THE CLUTCH WAS STUCK AND VEHICLE COULD NOT BE PUT INTO GEAR. VERY VERY DANGEROUS! *TR
