The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer was made aware of the issue. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 INFINITI I35. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, THE TEMPERATURE GAUGE INCREASED AND THE VEHICLE OVERHEATED. THE CONTACT PULLED THE VEHICLE OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND LET IT COOL OFF BEFORE TAKING IT TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE RADIATOR FAILED AND NEEDED REPLACEMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 111,000.

IN ADDITION, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE WHEN THE AIR CONDITIONER WAS ACTIVATED. THE FAILURE OCCURRED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CRANK SHAFT POSITION SENSOR, ENGINE SPEED SIGNAL, CATALYST SYSTEM, AND IGNITION SYSTEM NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE VIN AND FAILURE MILEAGE WERE NOT AVAILABLE.

THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN NOTIFIED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE APPROXIMATELY 26,000.

HE TURNED OFF THE ENGINE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A REPAIR SHOP AND THEY STATED THAT A SCREW WAS LOOSE IN THE INTAKE MANIFOLD. THE REPAIR SHOP STATED THAT A NEW ENGINE WAS NEEDED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 83,000.
