WHILE TRAVELING 65 MPH ON AN INTERSTATE MY CAR SLOWED TO APPROXIMATELY 20MPH AND IWOULD NOT ACCELERATE. THE SLIP INDICATOR/VOC AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND ALL I WAS ABLE TO DO WAS MAKE IT TO THE EXIT WITH MY HAZARD LIGHTS ON. I THOUGHT MAYBE THE BATTERY OR ALTERNATOR WAS THE CAUSE. I TESTED BOTH AND BOTH WERE GOOD. I WAS BEEN TRYING TO TRACK DOWN THE PROBLEM AND HAD BEEN AT A LOSS UNTIL I STARTED TO INVESTIGATE DISCOVERING THAT SEVERAL 07 INFINITY MODELS HAVE BEEN HAVING THE SIMILAR ISSUE AS MINE.

I JUST RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE IN THE EMAIL YESTERDAY 11.12.2013, NHTSA RECALL 13V-430, NOW, I SPOKE WITH A REP STATING I WILL RECEIVE ANOTHER NOTICE. THIS ACTION HAS ALREADY HAPPENED TO ME AND I HAVE REPLACED IT OUT OF MY OWN POCKET. I DO NOT SEE WHY I SHOULD HAVE TO WAIT ON A SECOND NOTICE. CLEARLY IN THE RECALL LETTER IT STATES, IF THE MIL IS ILLUMINATED, CONTACT YOUR INFINITI RETAILER IMMEDIATELY AND IT WILL MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR AN IMMEDIATE REPAIR.
