THE CLUTCH IN MY VEHICLE WAS REPLACED AND WITHIN 3 MONTHS IT HAS AGAIN FAILED. I HAVE LOST COMPLETE USE OF MY VEHICLE AGAIN DUE TO THE ELECTRICAL FAILURES AND THE CLUTCH FAILING
CONSUMER WAS CHANGING FUSES TO ONE THING AND IT BURNED OUT ANOTHER. VEHICLE HAS NO INTERIOR LIGHTS FRONT OR REAR. INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FELLS THE WHOLE SYSTEM NEEDS REPLACING. WIRES TO INTERIOR LIGHTS HAVE TURNED BLACK.*AK
IT TAKES A WHILE TO CLICK OVER BEFORE VEHICLE WILL START. TOOK TO DEALER, THEY SAID WIRES WERE REALLY BAD, AND CORRODED. DEALER REBUILT STARTER. CURRENTLY, CONSUMER FEELS THE PROBLEM MAY BE REOCCURRING BECAUSE OF THE AMOUNT OF TIME IT TAKES BEFORE STARTER WILL CLICK IN. *AK

THE PROBLEM WITH THE STUDS IS CONTINUOUS, ANY TIME I HAVE TO HAVE MY TIRES ROTATED OR BALANCED, OR FRONT END ALIGNED THE SERVICE PERSON ALWAYS INFORMS ME THAT THE LUGS HAVE BROKEN OFF WITH THE STUD AND NEED TO BE REPLACED, WHICH HAS BEEN VERY COSTLY AND AN INCONVIENCE. THE PROBLEM WITH THE HORN IS WHENEVER THE CAR IS WASHED OR IT RAINS THE HORN START SOUNDING AND I HAVE TO REMOVE THE FUSE TO STOP IT . THERE HAS NEVER BEEN ANY FRONT END DAMAGE TO CAUSE THIS PROBLEM, IT JUST STARTED HAPPENING WHILE DRIVING ONE DAY AND ANOTHER MOTORIST INFORMED ME THAT MY HORN WAS SOUNDING. *AK
POSSIBLE DESIGN FLAW CAUSED THE IC VOLTAGE REGULATOR TO FAIL DUE TO A BAD ALTERNATOR. HOWEVER, REPLACMENTS WERE DONE. PROBLEM REOCCURED. *YC

MY VEHICLE HAS THE SAME PROBLEM AS DESCRIBED IN YOUR SERVICE BULLETIN NUMBER SB96-01-L005, BULLETIN SEQUENCE NUMBER 23. I FIRST NOTICED THE PROBLEM LAST SUMMER (8/98) THAT THERE WAS A LARGE AMOUNT OF OIL SEEPING INTO THE SPARK PLUG TUBES. IS THIS SOMETHING THE MANUFACTURER HAS TO REPAIR ON THE VEHICLE?
I NEVER RECEIVED ANY RECALL NOTIFICATION FOR ALTERNATOR/ REGULATOR/STARTER THAT I WAS SUPPOSE TO HAVE RECEIVED SOMETIMES IN 1997. SHOULD THE DEALERSHIP DO IT NOW AND PAY FOR THE MONEY I SPENT TO FIX THE ALTERNATOR/REGULATOR/ STARTER? *AK
VEHICLE HAD TO BE TOWED WHEN THE ENTIRE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM SHUT DOWN AND THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT RUN. DEALER ALSO REPLACED THE SPEED SENSOR AND GEAR. *AK *ML
DEFECTIVE ALTERNATOR--HAD ALREADY BEEN REPLACED ACCORDING TO RECALL.
ALTERNATOR HAS AN OPEN CIRCUIT AND CAUSED BATTERY TO DIE, RECALL ALTERNATOR, REPLACE ALTERNATOR AND HOSE.
VOLTAGE REGULATOR FAILED BEFORE/AFTER RECALL REPAIRS, CAUSING ENGINE/CELLULAR PHONE FAILURE.
CONSUMER IS HAVING TROUBLE WITH RECALL COMPONENT (VOLTAGE REGULATOR) REPAIR WORK, DUE TO LOCATION (CONSUMER RESIDENCE IS IN AFRICA).
ENGINE STALLED DUE TO ALTERNATOR FAILURE, CAUSING ACCIDENT.
VOLTAGE REGULATOR INSIDE ALTERNATOR FAILED, CAUSING INTERMITTENT STALLING (PRIOR TO/AFTER RECALL REPAIRS).
DUE TO EXCESSIVE ELECTRICAL CHARGING, THE VOLTAGE REGULATOR FAILED.
THE SPARK PLUGS FAILED.
THE ALTERNATOR FAILED.
UNABLE TO REPAIR VOLTAGE REGULATOR REPAIRED UNDER RECALL DUE TO LACK OF PARTS. (97V-034)
ALTERNATOR IS NO GOOD. CAR WILL NOT START. PLEASE DESCRIBE. TT
