WHEEL BOLTS/NUTS STRIP EVERY TIME I HAD TIRE WORK. RECENTLY BEING REFUSED TO CHANGE TIRES BY A SHOP, CLAIMING THAT RODEO'S WHEEL STUDS TOO SOFT TO GET THE JOB DONE WITHOUT DAMAGE

REPLACED SEVEN WHEEL LUGS NUTS AND BOLTS TO HIS VEHICLE. CONSUMER NAVIGATE ON NHTSA WEBSITE AND FOUND MANY CONSUMER WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. DEALER HAS BEEN NOTIFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION. TS
CONSUMER STATED WHILE HAVING NEW TIRES PUT ON THE VEHICLE, HE WAS INFORMED THAT THERE HAS BEEN A KNOW PROBLEM WITH THE LUG NUTS AND THAT THAT THEY SHOULD ALWAYS BE REMOVED AND PUT BACK ON BY HAND, WHILE THE MECHANIC WAS WORKING ON THE VEHICLE, THREE OF THE LUG NUTS SNAPPED OFF DUE TO THE REPEATED DRILLING OF THE LUGS OVER THE YEARS, ALL OF THE LUGS AND STUDS WERE REPLACED AND DUE TO THE DAMAGE THE FRONT INNER SEAL AND FRONT HUB ASSEMBLY HAD TO BE REPLACED, CONSUMER IS REQUESTING REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE DEFECTIVE LUG NUTS.*JB
LUGS STRIP AND/OR BREAK EVERY TIME A TIRE HAS TO COME OVER FOR WHATEVER REASON. LABOR IS VERY EXPENSIVE ESPECIALLY IF IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED ON A REGULAR BASIS WHEN YOU SERVICE YOUR RODEO. *AK
UPON INSPECTION, MY MECHANIC TOLD ME THE STUDS: LUGS: NUTS ON THE 2 FRONT TIRES WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE THE METAL THAT WAS USED TO MANUFACTURE THEM WAS TO SOFT THUS CAUSING FAILURE. FAILURE CAUSED THE STUDS TO BECOME CROSS THREADED AND ONE STUD BROKE AND WAS MISSING FROM THE WHEEL.*AK

WHEEL STUBS WERE DEFECTIVE FROM DEALERSHIP. CONSUMER WAS TRYING TO CHANGE WHEELS FOR ROTATION OF TIRES, AND WHEELS WOULDN'T COME OFF. DEALERSHIP WAS AWARE OF PROBLEM.*AK
THE PROBLEM WITH THE STUDS IS CONTINUOUS, ANY TIME I HAVE TO HAVE MY TIRES ROTATED OR BALANCED, OR FRONT END ALIGNED THE SERVICE PERSON ALWAYS INFORMS ME THAT THE LUGS HAVE BROKEN OFF WITH THE STUD AND NEED TO BE REPLACED, WHICH HAS BEEN VERY COSTLY AND AN INCONVIENCE. THE PROBLEM WITH THE HORN IS WHENEVER THE CAR IS WASHED OR IT RAINS THE HORN START SOUNDING AND I HAVE TO REMOVE THE FUSE TO STOP IT . THERE HAS NEVER BEEN ANY FRONT END DAMAGE TO CAUSE THIS PROBLEM, IT JUST STARTED HAPPENING WHILE DRIVING ONE DAY AND ANOTHER MOTORIST INFORMED ME THAT MY HORN WAS SOUNDING. *AK
THE WHEEL STUD BOLTS BREAK WHENEVER TIRES ARE ROTATED AND MOUNTED BECAUSE IT IS DEFECTIVE. YH
ALL 12 WHEEL LUGS/NUTS ON FRONT WHEELS FAILED ACCORDING TO DEALER. INFORMATION RECEIVED FROM TIRE SHOPS INDICATES THAT THIS IS COMMON WITH ISUZU VEHICLES. ISUZU REFUSES TO HONOR WARRANTY STATING WITHOUT ANY KNOWLEDGE THAT THE CAUSE IS "USE OF AIR WRENCHES TO TIGHTEN LUGS". THE LUG NUTS/BOLTS ARE OBVIOUSLY DEFECTIVE IN DESIGN, MANURE, OR ASSEMBLY SINCE OTHER CARS DO NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM
WHEEL STUDS AND NUTS CAN BE STRIPPED DURING NORMAL WHEEL INSPECTION AND TIRE REPLACEMENT.
EVERY TIME WHEELS NEED TO BE REMOVED FOR SERVICE, A NUMBER OG LUGS:NUTS:STUDS BREAK.
ALL 24 LUGS: NUTS BROKE OFF WHILE ROTATING THE TIRES. THIS CONDITION HAPPENED ONCE BEFORE. *AK
FRONT WHEELS STUDS ARE WEARING OUT FOR UNKNOWN REASON; CONSUMER HAD TO REPLACE STUDS: LUGS ON BOTH SIDES OF FRONT WHEELS. DEALER NOTIFIED AND INFORMED CONSUMER THAT THE STUDS ARE WORN DUE TO THE AIR GUN USED TO PUT THE LUGS ON. *AK
LUGS:REPLACED EIGHT LUGS:NUT SAND STUDS.
THE METAL ON THE LUG NUTS IS WEAK CAUSING THEM TO STIP WHEN REMOVING. THE LUG NUTS THEN NEED TO BE REPLACE.
RELATED TO STOCK STEEL WHEELS, ORIGINAL STUDS AND LUIG NUTS. THESE STUDS/LUG NUTS SEIZE REGULARLY REQUIRING THEM TO BE BROKEN TO REMOVE WHEELS. IN THE EVENT OF A FLAT TIRE, THE WHEEL CAN NO BE REMOVE MANUALLY. THIS IS A CHRONIC PROBLEM VERIFIED BY 4 DIFFERENT TIRE STORES. ISUZU'S STANCE IS THAT THEY ARE UNAWARE OF ANY PROBLEM. I HAVE MAGAZINE ARTICLES RELATED TO THIS SPECIFIC PROBLEM.
