TOOK VEHICLE FOR 90,000 CHECKUP & HAD TIMING CHAIN BELT REPLACED. LATER, NOTICED LEAKS UNDER VEHICLE. TOOK TO MECHANIC & WAS INFORMED ENGINE TWO HEAD GASKETS WERE LEAKING A LOT OF OIL. PROBLEM WAS NOT NOTICE AT TIME OF CHECK UP. *AK

WHILE DRIVING AT 15 MPH, VEHICLE WAS BROADSWIPED BY ANOTHER VEHICLE THAT RAN A RED LIGHT. THE DRIVER'S SEAT BELT DID NOT STAY LATCH IN THE BUCKLE ASSEMBLY WHEN THIS HAPPEND THERE WAS NO PROTECTION TO THE DRIVER IN THE COLLISION. *AK
VEHICLE'S TAILPIPE SEPARATED FROM UPTURNED FLANGE AT REAR OF MUFFLER, CAUSING MELTING AND BURNING OF UNDERCOAT BENEATH VEHICLE LEFT REAR FLOOR, AND ALSO CAUSED MELTING AND CHARRING OF CARPET AND VEHICLE CONTENTS STORED ABOVE THAT SPOT ON THE FLOOR. THE SEPARATION WAS CAUSED BY RUSTING.
