TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2001 JAGUAR S-TYPE. WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE REAR ENDED ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED AND TOWED TO A TOWING FACILITY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.

AIRBAG HARNESS ON 2001 S-TYPE JAGUAR HAS BEEN REPAIRED BUT LIGHT ON DASH KEEPS COMING ON AFTER REPAIR HAS BEEN MADE WHEN REPAIR WARRANTY HAS EXPIRED. I HAVE HAD THE SAME ISSUE REPAIRED TWICE, FIRST TIME THE AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON 3 MONTHS AFTER REPAIR; SECOND TIME AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON 13 MONTHS AFTER REPAIR. INTERMITTENT BEEPS STARTED 6 MONTHS AFTER REPAIR BUT NO LIGHT ON THE DASH APPEARED. I NOTICED THE BEEPS I HEARD BEFORE THE AIRBAG ICON LIT UP ON MY DASH KEEPS TIMING WITH THE FLASHING AIRBAG LIGHT I NOW SEE. *JS
