THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER NUMEROUS TIMES FOR THE FAILURE WHERE THE DEALER PERFORMED A DIAGNOSTIC THAT LOCATED THE FAILURE AT THE FUEL SYSTEM. THE DEALER ALSO TEST DROVE THE VEHICLE, BUT WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE DEALER REPLACED THE FUEL LINES AND THE FUEL HOSE, BUT THE FAILURE WAS NOT CORRECTED. THE CONSUMERS WIFE MANAGED TO MANEUVER THE VEHICLE TO A NARROW STRIP BETWEEN THE OUTER LEFT EDGE OF THE FAST LANE AND GUARD RAIL. THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT RESTART; AND THE DASHBOARD DISPLAY SAID ENGINE MALFUNCTION. PRIOR TO THE INCIDENT, THE CONSUMER TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER BECAUSE THE LOW LEVEL FUEL LIGHT WAS ALWAYS ILLUMINATING JUST AFTER A FEW MILES OF DRIVING; EVEN WITH A FULL TANK OF GAS.
