WHEN ATTEMPTING ACCELERATE VEHICLE WOULD NOT MOVE DUE TO THE THROTTLE PLATE BEING STUCK. *TS THE IDLE PLATE BECAME STUCK AT IDLE AND AS A RESULT THE VEHICLE MOVED VERY SLOWLY. THE PROBLEM IS THE ACCELERATOR STICKS AT VARIOUS POSITIONS AND MAKES THE CAR EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TO DRIVE. THE PRICE QUOTE WAS $650. I ASKED IF JAGUAR COVERED THIS AND WAS TOLD NO, IT IS NORMAL WEAR. I FIND THAT HARD TO ACCEPT GIVEN ALL THE RECALLS OVER LESS IMPORTANT ITEMS. I BELIEVE IF THEY (THE SERVICE PEOPLE) KNOW THIS, IT IS A DESIGN DEFECT AND WOULD LIKE TO HAVE YOU COMMENT ON THIS.
