MANUFACTURE REFUSES TO FOLLOW RECALL #94V043000....ALSO REFUSED TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR NUMEROUS OTHER DEFECTS AS NOTED BY THEIR TECHNICAL BULLETINS, I.E. DRIVER'S DOOR FELL OFF FRAME.. *CB
WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH DRIVER APPLIED THE BRAKES AND THE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR, CAUSING CONSUMER'S VEHICLE TO REAR END ANOTHER VEHICLE. UPON IMPACT, AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. DRIVER SUSTAINED NECK INJURIES AND WAS TRANSPORTED BY AMBULANCE TO HOSPITAL. *AK
MY 1994 JEEP CHEROKEE FRONT PASSENGER ROTOR BROKE INTO TWO PIECES BECAUSE OF EXCESS RUST. WHEN I BRAKED THE CAR PULLED VERY HARD TO THE LEFT. IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT AND DANGEROUS FOR ME TO BRAKE. WHEN I LOOKED UP RECALLS FOR 1994 JEEP CHEROKEE'S, CARS PURCHASED AND REGISTERED IN VIRGINIA ARE NOT PART OF THE NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 99V340000, BUT MARYLAND AND DC CARS WERE ON THE RECALL LIST. I LIVE 5 MILES FROM MARYLAND/DC. YOU SHOULD PUT ALL STATES ON THIS RECALL. I COULD HAVE KILLED SOMEONE OR DIED YESTERDAY. *LA

WHILE COMING DOWN A MAJOR HILL OCCUPANTS HEARD A POP COMING FROM THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE, THEN THE STEERING WHEEL JERKED TO THE RIGHT WITH NO WARNING. THE VEHICLE FINALLY STOPPED WITH THE RIGHT SIDE SMOKING HEAVILY. THE RIGHT ROTOR SPLIT IN HALF AT THE CENTER. MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED. *AK
WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE ABOUT 30 MPH AND WHEN STEPPING ON THE BRAKE PEDAL TO STOP VEHICLE, THE VEHICLE DOES NOT STOP. FOR THE SAME REASON THE CONSUMER'S DAUGHTER HAD AN ACCIDENT. SHE REARENDED ANOTHER VEHICLE. CONSUMER HAD CHECKED ONE OF THE FRONT WHEELS AND SAW A HUB SEPARATED ON THE RIGHT FRONT WHEEL. DEALER NOR MANUFACTURER WERE CONTACTED. *AK
